Wendy took me and some family out for an amazing scuba experience. She explained and guided my two family members who had never tried scuba before. She then showed us the amazing dive spot. Everyone had fun and she was an absolute blast to spend the day with.10/10 will recommend!

I got Open Water certified here with Emmanuel. It was very reasonably priced and Emmanuel was awesome! Very patient teacher. I felt safe learning with him. He never rushed or made you feel bad for making mistakes. Plus, the in store staff are really nice and their selection is great.

From start to finish, had a wonderful experience with Divers Direct Orlando. I had contacted them with regards to getting Scuba Open Water Diver certified for myself and my partner, and although I emailed Manny himself, his wife Wendy was in- store was more than happy to help me getting signed up. The process was quick and they all helped/advised us both on the packages/deals they had in the store to buy all our equipment too. Demetrius was also very helpful in choosing my dive package/equipment.The SSI dive certificate training is very informative and the practical from Manny himself was outstanding. He has a plethora of wonderful experienced dive instructors which aids in feeling safe while training.We had dives in Ponce De Leon Springs and Lake Denton both very different but equally great beginner spots. We have since getting certified dived the Rainbow River/Springs, Ginnie Spring/The Ballroom and are heading to Jupiter this weekend coming. Its a wonderful feeling learning to dive after the certification is complete-(just like really learning to drive a car after passing the test).Looking forward to Isla Divers scuba trips in the up and coming months. We recently visited this location to pick up some snorkel gear for our Florida Keys trip. We went there specifically to get some professional guidance and recommendations on their products. Suffice it to say the staff there really came through. We dealt with Rachel, and she Took her time to explain all the different snorkel gear products and did her best to fit us with the best products for our situation. This day and age it’s so easy to jump on Amazon and point and click your way to a purchase. But there’s something to be said for expert customer service. Some thing you will never get by shopping online. We walked out with Quality gear that will last us for many years to come. The store was clean and well stocked. From the moment I went into the store about a month ago to becoming certified today, Wendy has been a huge help!Both Wendy and Manny were amazing! I started out being nervous but by my 4th dive I felt like I could fly! I had a slight problem with my buoyancy since my body liked to go belly up but Wendy was able to fix it with and without my wetsuit on! By then end of my 4th dive, diving felt so natural and now I cannot wait to continue my diving education with Divers Direct and Isla Divers!!

I had almost zero experience with the diving world. Manny did not take advantage of that. He showed me what I needed... not the most expensive gadgets in stock. I’ve taken 2 classes with Manny and (Mermaid Instructor Nov 2020 and ITC Aug 2021) and had an amazing experience with both courses! This past week I successfully completed my SSI ITC with Manny! Manny is not only very friendly and out going but extremely professional at the same time. He was very patient with explanations that was easy to understand, and included real world experiences showing why we teach how we teach. He stayed later than when the class was over going above and beyond the call to make sure I understood the material. Even though I live in Virginia I fully plan to continue taking both no pro and professional courses with Manny. Overall such a great guy and instructor who I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend to anyone who’s thinking about taking scuba classes.

So here is a long over due review of the two best instructors I have ever had for anything in life. Manny and Wendy Figueroa. This power duo of scuba instructors has made such an impact on my life to the point where I could never thank them enough. From the beginning, when they first helped and trained my dad and me to become open water and nitrox certified to now, three months later, having multiple certifications, multiple dives logged, and being able to pass my swim physical for employment as SeaWorld. These two go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and have the most amazing experience on land and most importantly in the water. Don’t get me wrong, like most, I have an irrational fear of the ocean and all the places and creatures that have yet to be discovered in it, but my curiosity for the unknown triumphs over that fear. Manny and Wendy have helped me develop the skills necessary to be able to be comfortable enough to breath as comfortably underwater as I can breath air on land. I have a lot of anxieties in life and through Manny and Wendy I learned that one of my happiest places is underwater. It takes my mind to a different world and I feel as calm as the water that moves me. On top of that, I can never thank Manny enough for taking time out of his hectic schedule to help me practice my breathing and help me conquer my SeaWorld swim test. I couldn’t have done it without him!

To say I’m disappointed is truly an understatement. My son is on the spectrum with sensory processing issues and cannot wear a mask. He is a CHILD. The gentleman working there were wonder and greeted us when we walked in. They even made small talk with us and I was so excited to be there. However, the female working there told us my child had to wear a mask and I explained to her he’s medically exempt. Again under Florida and CDC guidelines he’s fine to not wear a mask. She tried to use the “CDC” excuse that he couldn’t be in there without a mask on but now after reading Florida’s public health advisory, I suggest re-educating your employees on state mandates.

Wendy is an incredible instructor and really helped me feel comfortable and confident in my skills and in my gear. She and her husband Manny really are the whole package! They are kind, friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your questions are answered! Looking forward to future trips and certifications with them! So glad I found them and that they’re in Orlando!

This team was amazing! I took my 14 year old son to get his scuba certification and I took the refresher course. The entire team was so patient and focused. Guario Rivera spent two days with us on my sons first open water dives and i couldnt be more pleased. I couldnt complete the fourth dive and Manny took my son to demonstrate his skills and officially certify him. He talked me down as i was anxiously watching my son learn to dive and was so fun and informative!A number of Mannys other students who were developing instructors came out for support and allowed one on one time for some others. After all my gear got stolen few years back I was so furious that I decided to not dive anymore. What a mistake. well I decide that is time for me to get back underwater and enjoy the sea once again. So I took a quick look online and start chatting with Brandon, but I decided to just drive 45 mins. and see what this place is all about and see if they can help me get back into scuba. Well all I can say I was VERY IMPRESSED with the whole team, from back stage Brandon, to the lobby guys Felipe and my personal sales guy Emmanuel that walked me thru all the gear, suggestions and recommendations. At the end of the day I got all the gear I needed to get back in the water and the best part not even one second did I feel pressured or obligated to buy. Glad I had the opportunity to stop in at the shop’s brick and mortar location in Orlando. Was just looking for a dry bag and ended up purchasing the dry bag as well as several rash shirts. Two were nearly 50% off!

How do they have 4.8 stars when they cannot even service your equipment. I waited over 45 minutes for service. This is ridiculous. They do not even have a certified technician. Meaning anything you buy you will probably have to service somewhere else which is where they sent me.

Amazing customer service! I went to the store looking to find a wetsuit and ended up buying all my diving gear there. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. I was checked on by at least three staff members at various times to see if I needed assistance. The manager even took the time to compare various brands and provide a recommendation that would best fit me due to my limited (and by limited I mean none 😂) dive experience.

My 19 year old son Jake got certified Open Water Diver today 6-23-19with Many Figueroa . Manny is an excellent instructor who is knowledgeable and patient with his students. Fantastic service and instruction. Erick gave us a tour and helped me plan out training for myself, my daughter (18), and my son (8)—he wants to be a marine biologist so trying to support it early. WE got outfitted in snorkeling gear to start, then had Erick do a Scuba Ranger course for the both of them. He was professional and an excellent teacher. Every person I have interacted with a DD Orlando has been phenomenal.

I have been coming to this Divers Direct location for a couple years now, and it never disappoints. First of all their employee Walter is the star of the show! Every time I pop in I gotta talk to my man Walt. I have not met another dive shop employee, or diver in general who knows more about scuba diving than him. He also has a plethora of information on all the local must dive spots, and the best bbq restaurant to eat at after the dive! I hardly ever leave a review, but I think this one is earned and well deserved. Divers Direct knocked it out of the park when they hired Walt! For those of you who think you cant have a personalized experience from a “big box” dive shop, I say you haven’t been here. Divers Direct is the cleanest, most organized, most well stocked dive shop I have ever been to, and thats all I got to say about that!

My partner and I completed our DAN Basic Life Support and Oxygen Provider certifications with Manny Figueroa (Divers Direct Orlando). We were very pleased with his prompt responses to emails and willingness to set up a private session for the hands-on portion of the course, even on short notice. Prior to working with Manny we contacted several other providers who either didnt respond or failed to follow through with setting up a course. We recommend Manny for dive certifications and would be keen to work with him again.

The store is great, it has a great selection of gear and everything you need to go diving. We have been here multiple times and appreciate all the help we have received. I do want to say after our visit today, I was a little upset with the employee. My son has been here multiple times and never had an issue but the individual today made a sarcastic remark about if my sons diving instructor knew what he was talking about then my son wouldnt be confused. I just really thought that was in bad taste considering my son is very respectful and not arrogant at all. Although the employee felt the need to make that comment to my son, that is the only time we ever had any negative experience. Truly great for all gear.

We came to the store yesterday to look at gear and get an idea of what we need to purchase in the future after we complete the courses we plan to take. We were in the store almost 3 hours, and throughout that time Daniel would come by and explain the gear and offer suggestions. We plan to purchase our gear when we get a tax returns, but we know that we will be coming back to this store and we would like to have Daniel help us at that time. People friendly offering nice education

Went to check out their selection of dive gear, just getting back under water after 20 years. They have a great selection with every different style of BC, Regulator, Mask, Fins and other equipment you could ever want to compare. Staff was super knowledgeable and told me things that I didnt even know I should consider when making a major purchase like this.One of the pieces I purchased wasnt in stock, they had it the next day in Orlando from the Key West store. Put everything together, tested it, then shipped it to me for free.I couldnt be any happier with my experience. Thanks to everyone in the store for the great service!!

Absolutely fantastic. Just finished my open water Course and it was amazing!!! It was best experience that I every had with no experience. My instructor Manny Figueroa, was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly before diving. Manny and his team made me feel very comfortable with them and the important aspects of diving that I need to know. This made the dives very enjoyable because I felt like I could trust my instructor completely. The dive sites were clear and beautiful and it was definitely something I would want to do again. Thanks to the team at divers Direct who made shopping experience very easy. I will Recommended him to every. Thanks Manny, Eric and The rest of the you guys are the greatest..

Went to buy my first scuba gear and Filipe was such a great help and helped me pick a package that was suitable to my needs. He was great and so was all the staff in the store that day. Highly recommend the store.
