I haven’t been to Marble Slab in a while but I remember it being great and this was just “okay”. This location does not offer samples at the moment, which I understand in the post-COVID world we’re living in, but that is important to know.They also do not do orders over the phone. This has been something I’ve done with most restaurants/food places for years and never had a place say that was not possible. I was especially taken back because there was not a soul on there when I went on a Wednesday evening.However, those are just my preferences and my rating comes from the favor of the ice cream and the state of the toppings- and the price not being worth it.I got the birthday cake and it tasted like a base ice cream flavor with a hint of vanilla. I added rainbow sprinkles and a brownie. The brownie had a crusty texture which to me means it’s old and did not have much chocolatey flavor. If it’s not possible to maintain all the toppings, have fewer topping that you can maintain better. If they come crusty, that’s a shame.My husband got a raspberry sorbet that to him was not very flavorful (I think it has a very bitter after taste) and gummy bears on the side. There were 5-6 gummy bears and that just seems very sparse.I’m a huge fan of ice cream and know that when it comes to places like this, not every flavor will be my favorite but the toppings should be on point and the flavor should be present.We both got a medium/regular and my husband said it was about $15. Not worth it, which is the reason for the rating.Maybe those flavors are the 2 misses and there’s something else that is much better but I wouldn’t go back to test it, especially while they are not doing samples.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable however the flavor of ice cream is extremely mild and hardly noticeable I got the amaretto which tasted like nothing so it was very creamy and sweetno flavor in the ice cream satellite

Definitely not my first chose for ice cream. I ordered a sweet cream with brownies and Oreos. The brownies were rock hard and stale. As she was scooping in the Oreos they were just tiny crumbs at the bottom of the container. I took one bite and threw it away.

They have great ice cream but I felt there is better at Coldstone Creamery. The flow is odd in the they kept taking orders so by the time we had to pay we had to move around customers waiting. I would return as the food was good.

It has been a while since we have visited a Marble Slab but I remembered that you could get just about anything you want in your ice cream. Well, either my memory failed me or I was flat wrong. Tonight around 6:30pm, we stopped in for a milkshake and I wanted a mix of three different ice creams (dark chocolate, cinnamon and coffee) and was told that this was not possible. I was told that I could only have a mix of two ice cream flavors. I asked, “even if I pay extra?” Still the answer was no.I wasn’t asking for more ice cream, just three different flavors. The worker said her manager wouldn’t allow it. I asked for the manager’s email and they didn’t have it. They only had a business card with the store phone number. The store employees do not have the store manager’s contact information!What bothers me is that this was a super simple request and they don’t have their managers email. If this place can’t fulfill the smallest of requests, couldn’t even offer an alternative, and was actively willing to lose a customer, that’s pretty poor service. We walked out without ordering anything, disappointed and mad.My request wasn’t unreasonable and would have been very simple to accommodate. This is an awfully ridiculous policy to have that lost us as customers. I would have gladly sent this review as a private comment to the store manager, but that was not possible. This is the worst review I have ever written and was my only resort.

I had not been here in a very long time. The server did a good job in meshing my add ins into my ice cream. Each spoonful had bits and pieces of the ingredients. The ice cream tasted fresh. It didnt have that freezer burn taste that happens with some ice creams. It was an enjoyable experience.

Place is old and it looks dirty. they have restrooms that only employed can useI have to take my toddler the place next door to used the restroom. I mean come on I just went over there because they have such great reviews, but if people coming this place thinks their icecream are the bestLet me tell you that you haven’t try what a real icecream taste like. They are way overpriced for what they offer.

Not sure what happened, impossible to find a marble slab anymore, well here is one and great as ever. Fresh ice cream, all the fixens combined on frozen marble slab, marshmellos the best, cone in a cup is the best.

Walked in, or should I saw waddled as I am six months pregnant, to share a banana split with my Husband for his birthday. Weve been coming to this exact Marble Slab for years! Since we were teenagers! As we were looking and deciding our three flavors, the owner who was servicing the counter informed us we could only pick two flavors. My Husband and I both confused, looked at each other and reassured the gentlemen it has always been three flavors in all the years weve been going. He still stood firm that it has always only been two flavors. So we left and dont plan on going back... We dont need to be lied to over a scoop of ice cream.

Oh I love this place I go there at least once a week four a two scoop ice-cream shake. Of all the flavors I never get bored and its very rare that I walk out unhappy with my shake. Of course it is ice cream store so shakes arent the only thing they sell but in my opinion its the best one.

Better than COLDSTONE. I have been going here as a kid and it never gets old love it so much. Quality is amazing.

Beware of this place, will give you soupy ice cream the employees were rude not willing to give me an extra scoop of ice cream even after I insisted on paying separately for it. Since when are you limiting the customer on how much scoops they can have? Ridiculous.

Been getting ice cream here for 15 years and the guy inside just told me a banana split only comes with 2 scoops of ice cream.....15 years and I used to work here a long time ago...has anyone ever heard of a 2 scoop banana split it is even advertised in the pictures and online as 3 scoops.

My experience with this location was excellent. The workers were nice and friendly. My daughter was undecided which flavor she wanted and the kind worker was very accommodating in allowing her to taste test a couple flavors.Place was clean and maintained. The only small issue that could use some attention was at sundown the sun is extremely blinding through the windows as you turn to exit the ice cream store. Other then that it was a great experience and the ice cream is hands down delicious.I would recommend this location.

We make our order and when tried to pay he said you guys don’t accept Appel pay so I ask him to start the order and he said yes I told him thank you . my wife and my daughter stayed here inside the store and me I went to the car to get my wallet like that I can pay with my card when I went back to the store I found a long line so I wait until they all orders they when I paid I find out that he didn’t start our orders and we had to wait more to get our order ready

Better than any ice cream spot you can find in all of Florida. the ice cream cakes are better than anything you can find at Carvel. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. so many flavors and unlimited toppings make this this top spot to visit for any sugary cravings. if youre in town and need a sugar rush, make sure you stop at Marble Slab!

I really really love this ice cream shop. This is like cold Stone but I think better. There are so many good flavors here it was hard to choose between just two flavors but I went with the red velvet and the carrot cake. Other good flavors are cotton candy and the key lime pie. I heard the rum and dark chocolate are good but it was a bit busy and I didnt want to take up too much time taste testing. The workers are very kind and patient. If Im in the area again Ill be sure to stop by! It is a bit pricey but its so delicious! Also the toppings are unlimited!

This is our go to when we want fancier ice cream, we prefer it over Cold Stone & were pretty disappointed when the Marble Slab location near Bumby/Colonial closed. The consistency of the ice cream is soft but not TOO soft & it always tastes very fresh, there is something for everyone & if you cant decide theyre happy to give you a sample. Mix in options are pretty diverse as are waffle cone/bowl options. A bonus for me is the staff, theyre attentive & even when it gets busy in this small shop theyre still able to be efficient.

First of all it is not homemade for sure... We got banana and pistachio. Banana was okay but pistachio. It more tastes like antibiotic syrup more than pistachio... Also employees doesn’t ask any questions about what do you want on it or not. Unless you tell them what you want all you get is regular ice cream for price of cold stone.

Ice cream here is NOT good. Pistachio only tastes like strong almond extract, Walnut is more like a caramel taste, a Rum ice cream with no raisins and the Chocolate is a synthetic chocolate flavor.I know they say is handmade there but that doesnt mean is good. I dont say service is bad but as a person who has eat a fair share of ice cream with two kids that always ask for it I can surely say the ice cream flavors here are VERY off.

Poor customer service and poor management. I downloaded the app and it said free ice cream when signing up! Not only that but I also received an email saying that if a buy an ice cream scoop I will get another one for free. I was very excited to receive these offers (it was national ice cream month by the way). So, when I went with my sister and cousin, the first thing I did was wish the gentleman who was working happy national ice cream month and he didnt even know what that was. After that I showed him the free ice cream offer with signing up and he refused coming up with an excuse saying that its only at select locations, however it was not mentioned at all, not even in fine print. Then I showed him him my email about the ice cream and he said the same thing, even though the offer was not restricted to certain locations. So I left and sent an email to marble slab on the same day and the only response I got was okay well look into it and until now absolutely nothing was done to satisfy a customer. Im absolutely appalled about the lack of principle (saying something on the app and sending emails about free stuff but not meeting their promises) and very ill informed attendants working there. Honestly, not trustworthy. Thank you

Great place for ice cream. The prices are cheaper than marble slab and you can have any amount of toppings for no cost. Get the birthday cake with sprinkles, brownie, and cookie dough. You wont regret it!

I havent been to a marble slab in many years decided to reintroduce myself and boy was I imressed. Great flavors and mix in options (except no penut butter as a mix in only thing I would add) however the peanut butter ice cream was excellent base. Will be revisiting soon.

Every year for 4 years I have bought a cake from marble slab for my wife on her birthday. Just like the previous years I arrived to pick out an buy a cake. Just like the previous years i have them write happy birthday and my wifes name. This year was a horrible experience from the girl rushing me out the door and boxing the cake without listening to my request to acting like I was an inconvenience when I asked to have happy birthday written on the top. Then she had somebody else take over only to have him show me the cake after he wrote on it and to be honest... My 3 year old child could have done better. I then get told that i could take it and he would give me 10 percent off. 10 percent of 30.00 is only 3.00 for a messed up cake??? I had to choose a different cake with no writing. It is not worth 3.00 of savings to have them screw up again and keep me there longer on such a bad experience. No other solution was offered and they were all too quick to get me gone. Looks like i find a new place for a new tradition next year.

Dont waste your money in this place. The customer service is horrible and the owner or his family can care less. In my last visit, the employee was nice, he was trying to give my child a gum ball on top of her kids ice cream, but somebody, who I believe is the daughter of the owner, gave him an attitude in front of customers. She misunderstood and thought he was giving my 2 toppings. Lol. Its a gumball!!!! Very impolite and unprofessional. In all honesty there is much better businesses with great customer service at Waterford that deserve my business. Never stepping foot in this place again.

Besides my first waffle cone being burnt and my second having a hole in it the ice cream itself is delicious:) They do let you try samples before you buy so thats a big plus. The customer service here is horrible due to the teenagers they hire. They do not clean the tables outside even though it is their trash all over them. We will be exploring our other ice cream options after tonight.

Nice and delicious icecream. I like it because of multiple toppings that kids adore. The topping list is endless and has all options for kids to enjoy. I visit this place every time I pass by the waterford plaza. The shakes are super yummy and irresistible. The only problem is the limited number of seats and tables indoor. This is important for guests who are not used to Orlandos hot weather during summer that would love to take a minute or so to sit in the shop to enjoy the nice breeze and icecream indoors. The atmosphere is nice yet when the place gets super crowded it gets difficult to choose or talk to the staff. I totally recommend this place for visitors and icecream lovers. If you have kids, this is the right place to go. They will love it

I can and ordered my ice cream. They didnt actually mix it in to the ice cream. When I asked them to they said they couldnt because I touched it but refused to remake it or refund me. I know its just ice cream but this place is severely not worth the money. Youre better off going to cold stone.

The BEST ice cream place in Central Florida! I go here all the time. Wouldnt get ice cream anywhere else!! Horrible experience, took 20 minutes to get a $5 icecream due to computer not working, they threw my debit card and yelled at me for their problems.
