This is my go to place when I need help. Everyone is always friendly and happy. Its like visiting old friends. The first time I visited this location Doug went out of his way to help me. I really appreciate how kind and helpful he was. He replaced the wheel on my wheelbarrow and made it sturdier than it was before I brought it in (something Home Depot said they couldnt help me with). The next time I went in Robbie the Manager assisted me. He was super nice too. I highly recommend this location. Good vibes.

I guess since this Ace is in College park they think they cannprice gouge. Go to home depot and save your money. Youll be rich at the end of the year if you do qith all the money youll be saving by not shopping at this Ace. TRUST ME!

The employee/man-child with the black polo and dark brown hair to his shoulders should take an educational class on how to treat others. extremely rude and no knowledge of their own policy.

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was generally polite. That being said, they allowed another customer to scream and curse at me and follow me around the store recording me and did nothing to stop it. Despite me trying to shop peacefully and mind my own business and not engage with the woman, I was the one asked to leave. I guess in today’s world the person who is loudest and most obnoxious gets their way. Most importantly though, no business should allow harassment of patrons on their property. There is no instance in which someone should be verbally attacked as I was in their store.

So ill be the first to say that i had never been fond of corporate small hardware stores like this at any point. That being said I think this is location is a near perfect example of a great local hardware store in an awesome community. There is always someone who is waiting to eagerly help you with whatever you might need with out that pushy or overbearing feel. Honestly what really makes this store special to me is the insane selection of nuts bolts and any fastener you can imagine being on hand. I have been restoring vintage scooters and they seem to always have the random little bit or whatever that i need. It has been so relieving.

A real hardware store with helpful staff always willing to help you find stuff you need! They always have all the things I need with the fastest check out lines for a quick in and out.

As close to a good old-fashioned hardware store as youre going to get. Friendly, non-pushy staff and an amazingly broad selection for a non-big-box store. We easily found some eco-friendly and long sought-after items we could never fine in the large home supply outlets.

Awesome staff, excellent inventory, and very clean. Dont worry, when I confronted this guy about his extremely inconsiderate parking job, he reassured me he was just getting some wood. Cause no one else was just there to get stuff. Smh. Some people just need a 2x4 to the face.

High pressure Orlando Sentinel sales guy allowed to operate at the front entrance. I was pressured into a sample subscription and told no additional costs would be incurred. Never had a paper delivered and I get weekly calls I owe a balance and if I want to renew my subscription. This is a nice shop and I support local but they should not subject customers to ambush sales tactics. Not sure what OS gave ACE in return but you have lost me as a customer.

For once they didnt have just want I needed! But they do have some of the best greeting card around! If you just need a lift for your day, stop by and check out the cards. This is the worst store ever I bought a mask for $40 tried to return it because its broken and they wont take it back mean while I never even got to wear them and he straight-up refuses to take it back he told me call the manufacturer okay why would you sell something thats broken in the first place and not take it back that is completely unprofessional

Quick and easy to get in get what you need and get out. Greatly appreciate that they are asking customers to wear masks as they enter.

I was greeted when I walked in, they were a bit hesitant but did anyway. A gentleman assisted me in finding the 2 items I needed. I needed 100 or more screws and they only had about 12 in stock. (Note to self neighborhood hardware stores do not sell bulk.) Ok then, he gave me the info to purchase online. Upon check out, i gave her a $50 bill, I was to get $43 and change back. I asked if she could break down the 20 s to 5s and 10s. She had enough in her drawer and said sure. She began to count out $60 in 10s and then picked up the 5s to count those also. I said I gave her a $50 bill right! There was another lady behind the register also, she didnt say anything either. -Now College Park is not very multi cultural, Im black so I stick out like a sore thumb, hence the hesitancy upon my arrival. - So at this point she had $60 on the counter and starting to count out more, I say in my louder than usual voice WAIT thats too much money! I only have you a $50 and should get back $43 back. She still seemed a bit confused. I say thats 2 $10s 4 $5s 3 singles and 61 cents. After maybe a little embarrassment she got it right. I was thinking and you looked at me cross-eyed when I came in, but you cant count AND youre on the register. Shaking my head!

Im a big fan if my neighborhood Ace Hardware. They are always very helpful when I need it. But, as a woman, I appreciate that they dont assume I need help (usually I dont). You cant always find everything you need like at the big places but they are still my first stop and my first choice.

Manager is a jacka** wouldnt take back a drill thats unopened and have receipt from Ace in Ormond. Hes was rude and nasty. Dont shop here!!! They even carry craftsman drills and still wouldnt take it back. Why would people even shop here anymore? STAY FROM ACE!!!
