We visited here today during our vacation in Orlando Florida and it was awesome! My son got this keyboard, which we were able to buy a warranty for as well. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The store is a great size and has a ton of fun stuff for music lovers and makers alike.

Ive to store 777 several times and service was average. I went yesterday looking for a shredder guitar and Daniel took care of me amazingly. Great guy with great product knowledge. Patient, professional and great service. I was giving up with guitar centers retail but this is the type of people you need in your stores. Customers can still go online and see reviews. But with people like Daniel offering outstanding service. Gives a better in person experience. Thanks brother rock on, difinitely stopping by again to the store.

This guitar center is average. The customer service is beyond average. The manager is very welcoming and sincerely wants you to be satisfied with your visit. If ever youre here, look for Marcus, the manager. Hell take care of you.

This place was kind of a mad house with a live DJ playing a set when I walked in and loads of kids running around, but Bailey was the man and hooked me up with a quiet room to demo a Taylor that I ended up buying. Their tech Buddy then did a solid install of a pickup for me in less than 30 minutes! Ended up taking care of everything I needed in a quarter of the time I expected, great experience!

Guitar Center is our favorite place, so be it for any music pro. I would say the staff needs to be more attentive. Been there twice but not very impressed with the staffs hospitality maybe due to shortage of staff. But 5 stars always for the guitar center. Only this particular location should pay more attention to customers. Overall fine.

Plenty of instruments and accessories, Staff is helpful . Accessories are expensive compared to online from other vendors . was quoted $50 to install a set of tuning pegs thats sold for $23. take your instrument here for a very unique need that you do not know how to fix on your own .

I ordered a used Roland mixer 11 days ago. i called 6 days ago (last Tuesday) and was told 2 different things. one manager told me the item wasnt available, another manager assured me that it would ship in a couple days around Thursday to the Lakeland store for pickup. So i decided to call back after the weekend. this morning (Monday) i received an email saying the order has been cancelled and i may have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back into my account. I spoke with the operations manager just now who said that the item was actually broken and should not have been sold in the first place. Why did they sell me an item that did not exist and string me along for 11 days? There was very little and conflicting communication with this whole deal and if i knew id experience this, i would have just bought a new one from another company, like Sweetwater.

Waited way too long for someone to help me in an uncrowded store.. As a matter of fact, an associate walked right past me. Had to ask him if he worked there. Told him what I was searching for, he said they didnt have it in stock and walked away, but I had more questions. I informed him that was terrible customer service. I wouldve possibly purchased an alternate item but didnt feel I was treated well. I dont expect much, but as a potential customer, I expect a little more than that. I would not recommend any Guitar Centers because of this.

Ryan is amazing. We went one night and the person working almost made us not come back. It said online the next day they had the item in stock we were looking to purchase. I called and spoke to Ryan he held the items for me so they wouldnt get sold because we live about an hour and a half from the store. When we got there Ryan was very nice and helpful. We bought 2 studio monitors and a keyboard. We got the keyboard Ryan had suggested and love it! We will shop with Ryan again!

Terrible customer service. I have gone there three time to get a mixer and no one helped me. One of the attendants talked to me, then he left me alone. Asked another salesman to take care of me and this person never approached to me. Very very disappointing.

I would avoid the used market place from this store. They do not inspect the used gear they buy, and they will not verify the contents of the used gear prior to purchase. This information comes from the store manager, who I spoke with today. For example, a speaker cabinet on their marketplace could be loaded with ANY working speakers. They dont check when they purchase used gear.Manager turned down a sale today because he was too busy to check for me. Today is Saturday, and he said the earliest he could look is Monday. A customer in the store should NOT have to wait three days to know the contents and condition of a used item. Why would you expect someone who calls ahead of purchase to wait either? Glad you are busy today... so busy in fact you have lost an easy sale.

The people here are what makes the trip here worthwhile. Everyone working here seems to be passionate about music. The downside though is the fact that most of the stuff sold here is entry level type gear. Dont gete wrong, there are some very nice instruments to be had however most everything else is very much Best Buy. I went in looking, on this occasion, for a nice set of high impedance closed back cans but all they had in stock were primarily lower impedance $50ish to $100ish stuff. I wish they had more high end box items but then again I realize that only a minority is looking for high end items so it makes sense not to stock items that only sell to a niche clientele. That being said the store is well kept and again everyone that I encountered was very helpful and apologetic for not having what I was looking for.

The only sales people I would buy anything from would be Tony in the bass section, Marcus and Anthony P. The others should be fired.

I found a used guitar at this location that I was interested in so I gave this store a call to ask what shape the guitar was in, what pickups were in it and if they could move on the price at all (the store did not have many close-up pictures). The individual I talked to told me the guitar was pretty much in new condition and they couldnt move the price.The next day I called and told them I called the previous day and that Id like to purchase the instrument. I was told they were very busy and theyd call me back. After a few hours went by without hearing from them, I decided Id just buy it from their website.When the guitar arrived, the back of neck had a series of six dents where it looks like the someone dropped it on top of another guitars fretboard. The listing also said it came with a bag, which I didnt receive.I called customer service who gave me a small refund for the damage to the neck. They called the store and asked about the bag and told me to call the store the following day because they didnt have anyone to find the bag. I called the next day and talked to the store manager who said theyd find one and ship it out.Its been a few weeks now and I havent heard or received anything from them.Update:Shortly after being told to contact Guitar Center, my issue was resolved. Thank you.

I I would never buy or recommend anyone else buy anything from this store due to the fact as they do not treat their black customers the same as other customers I waited for 20 minutes before being greeted and still after was never helped With the items I was looking to purchase I want to buy over a $1000 worth of equipment but didnt seem like my money was as green as everyone else is. This is not a complain at guitar centers in itself but this particular guitar centre I dont know maybe they should pay more attention to their black customers or just customers in general coming through the front door. They lost my sale.

Great variety of guitars at this location. Giving it 4 stars because there is basically no negotiation at this store. They don’t bother in trying to make their customers happy by being mutually beneficial. I’ve attempted making deals with them on multiple occasions and not one single time has it been successful at this location. And every other guitar center I’ve been at has made this process a breeze.

Purchased a strap for my guitar and two booklets for learning. No one asked to assist me and I stood at the register for quite some time before being able to pay. Maybe need more personnnel. They had a few beginner books but for my mind not enough selection for a first timer. Do we really have to shop online for everything?

It took over 30 minutes to get someone to help us. I had to walk over the store to find someone, then that person said they wouldnt help me, but that someone else would when they were done helping someone else. Took about 20 more minutes. Very frustrating. Luckily, that person was incredibly nice and helpful, which is why there are 3 stars.

The store seem to have have a large variety of items to purchase, but I wouldnt buy a thing from this store. Called ahead. Said they had 3 guitars I wanted in stock, plus a used $500 effect. Went to pick up the next day. Over 1k purchase. Coming off a recent 20% off musicians friend coupon, followed by 10% off through chat with no coupon, I asked about bundle discount. (Ive never gotten over 1k of gear at a music store without at least 10 percent off. Not trying to be arrogant, just my experience with half a dozen stores at least) Person 1 says 0 discount no matter amount or number of items. Manager says ring it up and hell work something.After literally 30 mins of them looking for items they verified yesterday, theyre missing 2 of the 3 guitars... While I wait I explain to guy 3 Im not expecting 20% on price, just something that makes sense over buying the new stuff on MF and used on Reverb. Guy 3 says discount will be at least 10 percent. Manager comes back, types, walks away, guy 3 reads price. $10 off...not percent, dollars, so about 1 percent off...I leave. Drive home, log on Musicians Friend, chat with sales, literally hey, buying a few guitars, wondering if youre able to give me a custom quote, immediately met with 15% off. Done. I get that GC has rent and employees, and if youre using them to try stuff, theres an argument to use them. But if you know what you want, just trying to save you the headache (and money), buy elsewhere. GC Orlando could not care less if you become a customer or not.I believe Musicians Friend and Guitar Center are sister companies, so taking from one and giving to another likely doesnt matter in the end, but I will never walk in Orlando GC again. Save yourself the time, hassle, and money, and use MF, or a family owned store like Carltons who had the guitars they said, were friendly (as opposed to being completely apathetic if not antagonistic on whether you support them as a customer...GC), and gave a reasonable multi purchase deal on items half the price of what I was getting today.

Michael and Brandon were both helpful, and while I understand theyre not the ones who come up with pricing, the $170 I was offered for my Line 6 Spider Valve 212 Bogner was laughable.That said, I listed it for sale and I have a few people interested for about $600, so once I get it sold youll be seeing me again ✌️

Did you ever want to play instruments for fun even if you dont have any? Well this is the perfect place to not only find your favorite instrument, you get to try it all out and really find what you love. My favorite thing here is being able to step into the drum room and absolutely go crazy playing the drums. The staff here are all so chill and help you out with a lot of information, you know that they know their stuff. Awesome store. Lots of variety. The staff is helpful and redirect you to the deals. You can try all the guitars you want and when you purchase they give you one from the storage.2 days after my purchase (guitar + case), I decided a gigbag would fit better so I went back and made the trade without a hassle, and even got a refund for the price difference. Congratulations keep it up. My guitar arrived perfectly in Colombia with me. Rock on.

Ive been going to this particular GC for a while now and never really had to deal with the customer service side of anything. Usually, its just going in to buy something that makes me happy so Im already generally in a good mood.I went in earlier today to ask for help troubleshooting my wireless guitar system. I had bought the pro coverage a while back as well so I knew if it wasnt fixable at least it was covered.Having bought the product over 2 years ago (missed the coverage window by a couple months!) I ended up being unable to replace the device. However, I didnt leave bummed because of how helpful and determined the manager; whose name I didnt get unfortunately, and Tony were in assisting me with the coverage and the faulty device. Again, with the purchase being over 2 years ago I didnt have the receipt but I was able to pull up my bank statements to find when the charge would have hit their system. These guys worked with me for a solid 30 minutes trying to help me as the issue I was having wasnt something theyd seen before. We finally got everything we needed, just to find out it wasnt covered anymore.I was referred to someone who will be able to help me so no harm there, and fingers crossed theyre able to figure it out. Nevertheless I had a very positive experience with a frustrating situation and that made me happy. This is my favorite Guitar Center for the people alone, but this just totally solidified it.

I went almost at closing time. I was walking around when someone from the staff asked us if we were going to buy something. We said no. We are just watching. Amazing customer service. I purchased a guitar for a Christmas present, upon opening it up on Christmas Day it was cracked. I returned today in order to exchange it and they were out of the color I purchased. Instead of forcing me to choose another color they offered to upgrade the guitar to the model above mine at the same cost so that she could receive the same color she wanted. Thank you guys

5 stars for the employees, Jose especially was incredibly helpful and passionate about his work without being pushy about sales. One star off because the store seemed pretty understaffed for the weekend crowd; the employees were running around answering questions from multiple customers at once, and trying to check people out while also helping others. They were knowledgable and helpful but too busy. When I tried to call the store about an order on the weekend, the phone either rang indefinitely or, if it was answered, I was put on hold and gave up after waiting for more than 20 minutes. That said, still an overall positive experience.

I went to shop for a classical guitar after work. I thought I would buy one at a later date and wanted to explore options. I walked out with a guitar, keyboard, speakers and a whole lot of other trinkets. The shopping experience was so much fun. The staff were outstanding and stayed well past closing time to help me without feeling rushed. They are super knowledgeable and energetic.
