If you need any Japanese cooking items or snacks in a pinch, this may well work. The selection is limited. The store is clean and the service is friendly. Prices are on the high side, but for the convenience it is well worth. Located in a dilapidated shopping centre near International drive, we were able to find the ingredients we needed in a pinch.
The selection here is small, where it lacks many of the things that would easily make it one of the best Japanese markets in Orlando. Most of this has a lot to do with the amount of space, but more can still be added. This aside, this place has a lot of things that can be difficult to find. It had everything I needed to make my dinner that night. The owner was the only one in the store, and she was friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed our visit! The lady working there was super friendly. The place was small but really clean and the only place in Orlando I think that carries natto.
My friend and I wanted to make okonomiyaki and they had what we needed. The lady working there was very kind and helpful! Aside from the okonomiyaki stuff they had a lot of my favorites like natto! Thanks again!
Wish there were 0 stars because thats what they deserve. Rude, children not welcomed in the store, shadowing customers like if people went there to steal. 1sr and LAST visit. I have been to many oriental markets & this is the 1st time we were treated so horribly. Well NEVER EVER COME BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE STORE.
The woman at the cash register was very rude to us. We were looking at canned drinks in the refrigerated section, and she actually scolded us for keeping the door open too long. All we did was look at the label to make sure the drink we wanted didnt have artificial ingredients. That 3 seconds was apparently too long. We came to the shop out of respect and love for Japanese culture, and we were shocked that the woman (owner?) seemed to prefer that we not shop there. The stock is very limited, so its difficult to imagine what shes so high-and-mighty about. Funny enough, theres a Japanese tv series called Nietzsche in the Convenience Store, about very rude shop employees who disrespect the paying customers. Apparently this is an issue with modern Japanese people. :-(
Very small, however they have an excellent selection in the food that I needed for desserts or drinks. I did, however, feel like I was being watched or under suspicion of something while I was shopping.
Very rude and unpleasant owner. I drove across the state for about two and a half hours to stop at this store with Chinese friends of mine to purchase some Japanese snacks, where once they spoke Chinese in the store, they were glared at the entire time by the owner of the store at the register. Once we rang up our items, he very aggressively stated that no purchases under $20 are to be made with a card payment. Once we were scrambling change, he very rudely grabbed our items from us, as if he expected us to steal. Very unpleasant first experience.Recently, I returned to the store to give it a second chance, and to purchase a very common Japanese snack. Once asked if they had any, the same man at the register very aggressively replied No, not at all. The store shelves were almost completely empty, and most basic products were completely absent from the store. I am never returning here.
Not welcome kids to store, i was never see guy like cashier guy like him, i gave one star is the best for this store.DON NOT STOP BY AT THIS STORE IF YOU HAVE KIDS... -0 SCORE
Visited during a recent trip to Orlando. 5 minutes from Universal. Hidden treasure! Authentic Japanese groceries. Staff perfectly fine.
Cleanest Asian food market Ive ever seen. Great customer service!
Helpful staff. They stock my favorite dressing Angelo Pietro.

Limited stock, real Japanese stuff. Owned and operated by 1 person so dont feel too shocked if she keeps an eye out, shes just trying to run a store.
Theres limited selection however the store has friendly staff and is very clean. Be prepared with cash if only purchasing a few items.
Nice owners.
Not a really big store but I found what I went there for.
Bring cash. Small selection
Quaint and cozy
Hh
Just no...
I am here when I want to eat Japanese food. There are also yakisoba sauce and shabu-shabu sauce. The best recommendation is to buy and cook Ajinomoto frozen dumplings every time.
