I’d give 100 stars if I could For the exceptional service my husband received from the staff here at the Orlando Superstore. Our daughter and son in law surprised their dad with a retirement gift of a brand new custom fit set of golf clubs. The staff was welcoming and assisted us with setting up this wonderful surprise. It was one of the best moments of my husband’s life! My first contact over the phone was with Jimmy Bell. He was so very friendly and willing to work with us to make this happen. When we arrived in the store he played along with our surprise to make it the Best experience for all of us. The fitting was done by Will Williams. He took his time, went over numerous options and was very knowledgeable. I’d recommend his expertise to everyone. The lesson from Jimmy was extraordinarily professional in every way. He did not bombard my husband with too many changes all at once. He focused on 1 or 2 areas that needed tweaking. It was a productive lesson for sure. Very helpful. The video he sent later was remarkable for us to view and is a fantastic tool to use in adjusting his swing.Jimmy also provided us with exceptional service by assisting us with shipping our old clubs and bag. That service was greatly appreciated.Would we recommend this store and staff?? Absolutely!! We would not hesitate to return for all our golf related needs.Neil & JaniceConnecticut
Had a great experience at the Orlando store. Will did a great job of finding the right clubs for us, and the fitment. Excellent communication all around, and we did not feel rushed. Brad was awesome as well. He was knowledgeable, and helpful regarding club alterations. Both team members helped make our visit a positive experience.
In spring 2021, I was custom-fitted for Titleist T200 irons at the PGA Superstore in Orlando. The initial experience was great. The staff was knowledgeable and professional. Then, the wait...After 6 months of waiting, and only through the efforts of Brad Talbert (PGA Superstore Team Member), the clubs have arrived. Was it worth the wait?Of course not. I went the entire summer playing with old clubs.I will tell you this, Brad stayed on it, until it got done. He followed up, and communicated status to me along the way.My suggestion is to confirm the Availability and Lead Time of anything you order, otherwise, you might be waiting longer than you want.I cut these folks some slack, because I know Covid has crippled many supply chains. I just wish I knew some of this before placing an order.I will do it again, and I recommend PGA Superstore. Just pay attention to lead times. Good team at the store.
Walked in after 5 years of not playing and spoke to Matt. Asked what I was looking for, didn’t try to up sale me and he took his time. Matt also took the time to make adjustments to the driver I was looking at, made a few changes and before I new it, I was hitting the ball straighter than I ever have. Appreciate his time and effort. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again.
Outstanding service fitting golf clubs by Will Williams. Great knowledge of products, patient and explanations of how specific products fit or did not fit my swing. Give this guy a raise!!! Supervisor Brad Talbert was a pleasure as well. These guys make this store the draw that it is.
Wanted to share a good experience I recently had. I placed an online order that never came. I called and spoke with Ryan who completely took care of everything for me! He called the company that the product was coming from and had them resend it twice. He followed up with me and was a huge help. I got my package yesterday 😊 thanks Ryan!
One of the best experiences I have had. I have been to multiple golf stores and had bad experiences. I got new grips from an employee named Jimmy. He helped me pick out the grips that fit me perfectly. Top notch store I highly recommend this store for all golf needs!
This store is pretty awesome. Walked in and we were immediately greeted. We browsed the entire store without one employee asking us what we were looking for, there may have been only 10 employees in the whole store not near enough for the amount of floor space they have.We left without purchasing anything. We came back 30 minutes to compare my driver to one I found that I had been looking for. I approached an employee and asked if I could use compare the drivers. He said of course and had another employee turn on one of their simulators for me. I noticed a countdown of 30 minutes. He said hed be back if I had any questions and he even got a chair for my wife.I did decide to purchase the new driver so I approached the counter. I asked if i could trade in my TopFlight Tour Driver, a very beginner driver but they dont trade in Top Flight equipment. He gave me a free head cover and a free tool for my adjustable driver.Great store if you want to shop in peace and if you know what you want.I recommend checking it out if youre nearby.
Came in from out of state, had some time to see what I could trade my clubs in for. Took my clubs in got offers the lowest I possibly could be offered for well conditioned iron set. Told the employee that I had been offed a bit more, he said without hesitation to take up that offer instead of what he had offered me. First time ever coming I to a pga store in my life just to get treated so poorly. To clarify I’m not upset that I didn’t get what I wanted for my clubs, i was upset of the way I was treated by that employee didn’t care to at least help me feel welcomed Especially for being my first time here in Florida and First time ever shopping at a pga store.
Very clean and very knowledgeable staff! The store is well stocked with all the top brands, multiple hitting bays, and a huge practice green. If you are a golfer passing through or live near the area it is a must shop!
They helped fit me for irons. Didn’t sell me highest or what I thought I wanted. Took time to find my plane/speed and now I’m so much more comfortable playing golf!
Absolutely awful with warranties. Pass the buck to the manufacturer, manufacturer (Wilson) doesnt want to know about it, goes back to store and they do a patchwork fix to a club that is less than a year old, it breaks again after use 2 times and then they offer to do the same repair job. They could not care less about taking any ownership and say it is the manufacturers problem, but the manufacturer says it is PGA Superstores problem. Manager did not return call. So in the meantime I am 6 weeks without a driver. Off to arbitration. Update Monday 1/11/21 - Thanks for the response. If you were actually genuine with it you would know your store manager Steven is rarely at the store and not until Wednesday, today being Monday. Nice try on the PR side but perhaps you should know where your own manager is before you say to call him, or he could return my call which I mad Friday. I tried him at my earliest convenience, how about you make someone available that actually cares or will respond. Absolutely fake response @PGAsuperstoreorlando.Update 4/4/21 - I see PGA Tour Superstore has removed prior photos of the broken club. Today the Wilson driver after its third repair by @PGAsuperstoreorlando, snapped yet again off an innocent well hit drive on the 5th hole at Green Valley. Will wait and see if they continue to attempt their cosmetic repairs to this awful club/workmanship.
Love the pga superstore. Best variety and selection of everything golf.
PGA superstore is an openly discriminating business. They have told me that they do not care about my medical condition, they said they are perfectly fine with denying people with medical conditions. They do not care about laws against discrimination, in fact, they openly support discrimination.
Nice store with great staff & inventory
AVOID IF YOU ARE A FEMALE If I could give no stars I would.EXTREMELY unhelpful.....And extremely rudeYou can at least say Hello and acknowledge someones existence....Even if you are busy (which you werent), say hi, ill be right with you . We turned right out of their parking lot and spent our money on a new set of golf clubs at Edwin Watts!!!
My husband was able to order new irons (again), as I enjoyed the new spring varities for ladies golf/tennis apparels. Such a joy to view Jamie Saddocks and Lily Pulitzers collections in this area! Please keep the fashions current. Thank You
MUST COME HERE FOR ALL YOUR GOLF NEEDS!!! I started getting back into golf and needed a new set of irons. I thought I was hitting decent with my old Pings, but after going through the experience and testing out a few sets it put a different perspective on truly needing new irons.Drew Miller was helping me out with the process. I didnt have an appointment to get fitted but they do have walk ins available. Even though you might get more detailed with the paid hitting, Drew definitely took the time to get me into the right set of clubs for me. He even gave me some pointers that immediately showed improvement in my swing. There was no force into buying the set after the fitting. He saved the information for me in the system so I can come back with no problem.I just received my new TaylorMade Sim iron set two days ago and couldnt wait to go and test them out. I noticed a huge improvement in my alignment and distance. These clubs are very forgiving and help you set the ball where you need it.Thanks Drew for all your help and getting me back in the game were I can have a good time now and not want to throw the clubs. Lol.Competitive/Excellent pricing. I will definitely be back to upgrade my Driver.
I was amazed at the size and selection. I met a great fitter, Will Williamson. He really spent some time and made sure I left with the right clubs correctly set up...with optimum shafts. Confidence is a big part of golf...and I feel great about my selections, and confident in the details. Cant think of a good reason to buy clubs anywhere else, and I will definitely ask for Will again. He was excellent.
Dont shop at this golf store. They dont want to help you get better at golf, they only want to take your money. I recommend looking elsewhere.
Great selection of golf equipment (both new and used). Friendly and helpful staff! Im really starting to like this new generation of front line workers! Bought a new (used) Driver!
I always find their staff friendly and ready and willing to help.
Chris in the fitting section did a outstanding job of helping me. He was very knowledgable and professional in his approach
Perfect place to find the sports item that you want. And I mean anything
First time shopping at PGA Superstore. Your associate Harrison was super helpful in helping me find the best clubs to compliment my swing. Staff in general was great! Ill be coming back soon to buy some new wedges.
Large selection of woman clothing great shoes just did not have 2020 Scott Carmen putters, lost a sale. Overall I think it is a 4.7
Went to pga store on turkey lake rd. Orlando with an urgent putter issue must say do not lose employees like jammin Jimmy bell and sir brad Talbert rock on boys thks
Re grip on the putter...no excuses now
Well. Expensive. Incredibly expensive. I wouldn’t buy anything. Almost everything is available cheaper elsewhere. They are trading in their name but it’s a ripoff. I wouldn’t go again.
I almost gave it 2 stars because of the selection. They do have a lot of clubs, and probably the best selection of clothes and shoes in town. However, any time a store has such terrible customer service that it makes me decide to never shop there again it cant get more than 1 star. Im local so Ive been to this store multiple times. I have never had an employee proactively ask if I need help finding anything or even offer a simple hello. It legitimately seems like they try to avoid customers. When you do track somebody down, especially at the practice bays, they are at best disinterested, often visibly annoyed, and at worst blatantly rude.I noticed the PGA store has stopped responding to their negative reviews on here. I can only guess its because after 3 years of the same problem it seem like nothing has changed. I have to assume this is an issue with management. The PGA store in Altamonte is quite a bit friendlier. But, its too far away so I will be shopping at Edwin Watts from now on. Their club selection is just as good and the customer service is FAR superior.
Every conceivable item related to golf. Amazing store.
Great store and staff. Will be back
Not enough staff for the footageHuge selection but rarely a staff member available to helpI asked for help withLAB PUTTERS the first guy ya the tool used to fit the putter is broken so I called the rep and she told me the tool had been replaced two weeks earlier . So I go ask for him by name and he says to busy, book an appointment then he send a young lady, she tried to help but couldnt. So advice if you are serious about getting a proper fitting DO NOT bother with PGA Superstore Orlando
Great staff!! ALL GOOD!!
This store is great as it has a wide range of products which is amazing! However I must say that this store is very expensive.... would recommend having a look to see what this place offers but buying products elsewhere as I know many other stores that have the same products for a little bit less in price.
Good service. Staff was helpful in using the golf sim to try a few clubs.
Bathrooms were really nice but prices on Nike shirts and shorts not so much. The Nike stores around town basically have all the same shirts and shorts for half the price and I know I go to them several times a week. I just thought I would stop by and see the selection
Went there 2 days ago walked in no one said anything 2 associates at the front desk were talking, walked around the entire store no one asked to help stood at the bays for a bit as i was looking to purchase a new set of irons. didnt get any help so purchased some alignment rods (best price i had seen plus a made the trip) Went to Edwin Watts 500ft away and they good a lot better care of me greeting me from entry until i left with my new of irons on order. Really disappointing
What can I say?... Its not a dream! Lol
I called Tuesday to make sure I could get my clubs re-gripped since I was coming from Tampa. I have some clients in Orlando so I thought this would be a great chance to see the store. I was greeted on the phone by Megan who was very pleasant and said it would be OK. On Wednesday while Blaine was completing the re-grip I met with Rodney to compare my current driver with some others. He was very helpful and I ended up putting a more flexible shaft on my current driver. Blaine was able to get this completed so I did not have to return from Tampa in a day or so. I played today and what a difference the new shaft made and I mean in a good way. I want to thank Megan, Blaine and Rodney for a great experience and I will stop by on every trip I make to Orlando.
Tim Cahill did an amazing job fitting me into a new set of clubs. I have been hitting my Callaways for 15 years and decided it was time for a new set of clubs. Given the changes in the past 15 years I figured I would get fitted for a new set. I went in with what I thought I would want in my head but was willing to let Tim just hand me what he thought would work the best for my swing throughout the fitting. I did not expect to end up with Taylormade Clubs but these clubs have been phenomenal for me and the recommendation to bending them to 2 up has seemingly been a lifesaver for my game. Tim was super friendly and willing to listen to my comments and concerns. He also didnt pressure me to buy the clubs he recommended or pressure me to buy any clubs at all. He wanted to just help me out and I was very appreciative of that.
If they don’t have it it doesn’t exist. Great price on clothing and bags. Really nice staff always helpful.
Great customer service !
I can’t say this enough this store has been a 100% joy to work with. Drew helped me pick my perfect iron set went over everything with me. Also Cory called TaylorMade for me to make sure when my clubs would be delivered to my home thank you guys keep up the great work.
Had shaft extension put in and new jumbo max grip installed, waited for about 20 minutes and got the driver back. Very helpful and will be back with all my repairs.
I was trying out a couple of specialized chippers on their practice green when sales associate Joe noticed I was breaking my wrists. He helped me with my stroke. The next time I played I had the best round I have had in a long time. Great staff and a great selection of products and equipment.
Staff only interested if your buying clubs for fitting. There not interested in off the shelf sales or selling traded in clubs Personally I would use golf galaxy just down the road. More helpful and polite. Shame has the capability to be a fantastic store but staff need a reality check when it comes to customer service.
Had some downtime from the convention and visited this store. Nice layout with the latest golf gear. Nice golf bays to try clubs. Employees were helpful. A nice experience
Walked in on 7/27/2017 and was greeted quickly by Sam and Blaine. Sam took me straight over helped me get fit. During the fit we were comparing each new club with my own that I brought in. We quickly established that a new shaft made quite a difference. Sam printed me out a quote of the club and shafts I got fit with but had to clock out. He handed me over to Grant who continued seamlessly and let me try out a few drivers. Over all I was very happy with the way I was treated. I would go back and always recommend anyone to check them out if they need anything golf related.
Went in to try some new irons. Walked in to see a group of about 4 employees chatting at the front. No acknowledgement, which is fine. I head to the iron section and browse around. I had three brands I was hoping to try out. I notice 2-3 hitting bays open, but can’t find an employee to help me. I notice one finally but he’s helping another customer. After about 5 more minutes I wonder to the front and say to the group I initially saw that I want to try some irons out. They tell me to go to the hitting bays and someone will be with me. I go back to the bays, still nobody. Keep waiting still nobody. One finally walks in my direction and walks past me to help another customer. I start getting upset and finally able to get someone. I hit a few clubs and the salesman didn’t seem too patient at all. I already had a bad feeling about the place, so I took my business elsewhere. Probably will never go back here.
Really good experience. Got fitted for a new driver and took it to the range. Just didnt feel right so I took it back to the store and they bent over backwards to re-fit me in another driver with their play ability guarantee. New driver is awesome and I would tell anyone to buy their golf equipment here so you have rock solid back up should you have to return it. Thanks!
I had Drew fit me for a new driver. He did a great job and spent a lot of time with me to get it right. It must have worked because I shot a 74 the first time using it. Thanks Drew for the great fitting.Mark
I had a terrible experience at the store yesterday. I went in for a club fitting and the guy assigned to help was the worst. I was prepared to spend money on equipment but the guy, Steve, seemed bored the whole time. He kept checking his watch and I overhead him say over his radio he was still stuck helping someone. After only about a dozen swings he turned and said that maybe I should get some lessons. I was stunned. Just a terrible customer service experience.I walked out of the booth so angry. While the store has a great selection of golf gear I will spend my money elsewhere. This was very disappointing, but not surprising, as it was the second time I have received similar treatment at this store. By the way the place was almost empty so it wasnt that he was busy, just a jerk. There are plenty of golf stores in the Orlando area that I would rather go to that would treat a potential customer better than this.
Despite a large sign in the store they will match their competitors price for like in store merchandise, I was advised from the sales staff that they were not authorized to change any in store bar code pricing. Their major competitor who was only two blocks away was selling the identical T300 set of irons for 13% less ( verified by their staff).I asked to speak to the store manager and after a ten minute delay I was told he was out to lunch (2:30 pm).The sales staff was outstanding in helping me find the right clubs. They were embarrassed they were prevented from honoring the prominent in store sign re price matching. Clearly the corporate management needs to get their act together. Aside from losing sales it would appear they are susceptible to a charge of false advertising
Bought demo clubs online and was told I could return within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or a total of 90 day for store credit. The clubs were too offset so I brought them to the Orlando Store to replace with another set and pay the difference or get my refund . The return policy explained to me via phone by your corporate office was much different then what I encountered today at your Orlando store. I had to go outside to the parking lot to again speak to someone at corporate. They were very helpful and thankfully I did not have to get a refund because I found other clubs BUT the thing that bothered me and will keep me from being a future customer was that When I asked the gentleman if corporate office called re the clubs I was returning he stated “yes and you’re the exception regarding returning demo clubs - but it will never happen again”. He stated again that there are NO returns on demos. So how can I do business with a store that has conflicting return policies??
This is an incredibly large store not to accommodate its shoppers with shopping carts. They give you bags to carry which become very heavy quickly (think 2 boxes of balls and 2 pair of shoes) or pull carts which are also unacceptable for larger items. When they recognize the definition of superstore and show appreciation for their customers I will return as their selection is the very best but the shopping experience was not.
I was looking for new clubs for the year. My old set was 10 yrs old. Drew took as much time as needed, to find the perfect Calloway clubs to fit my game. Very good experience and great customer service.
They have a good selection with decent pricing, but you practically have to beg for assistance. Staff stands around and talks to one another instead of helping customers. I went down the street and bought from a different store. Will not be coming back.
Worst customer service ever! I had to interrupt story time with about 8 associates to ask a question about a club. When I finally got their attention it felt I was talked down to. I will never shop there again. Which is sad because I use to spend a good amount of of time and money there.
While on vacation, I needed to purchase a new driver. Found exactly what I was looking for and brought it to the practice bay. The guy there was extremely helpful and even gave me tips on swing.
The absolute worst service! I was interested in purchasing a hybrid and nearly walked out after waiting a few minutes for assistance before I was noticed by an excellent, service-oriented employee. Meanwhile, with about 20-30 customers in the store (on a weekend), two employees were hitting balls in a bay, giving each other a golf lesson while customers were standing around needing help. One of those employees refused to change out the shaft of the club I was interested in purchasing, telling me instead just try it before walking off. He needs to be fired! Try Edwin Watts around the corner or Golf Galaxy just down the street.
Very good selection, terrible staff. I went to buy a new driver and the person who was helping us, he said his name was Greg, was EXTREMELY rude and even scoffed at us when we said we wanted one in the $350-$500 range. He proceeded by lying about how I ‘needed’ one of better quality and that they had none for the price I stated. When I hit, he told me that I was hitting it way too slow and I needed to quit golf. He only seemed like he was doing it for the money. Will NEVER be back again, highly suggest going to Golf Galaxy across the streey as they have just as good a selection and EXCELLENT staff.
We were at the PGA Store in Orlando on 3/26/2016. My son was interested in purchasing a new driver and three wood. He was ignored because they asked him if he was there for a fitting. I was interested in a womens set of clubs, but didnt bother to ask for help after my son was ignored. Customer service is customer service. We wont be back anytime soon!
For my mothers 81st Birthday I took her to get fitted for new clubs. Hers are over 20 years old and she plays once a week. The staff was great spent a couple of hours trying out all brands of clubs and also compared to what she was already using. End up getting her a new set of irons. The driver she had were just shortened a inch and re-gripped. No pressure to up sell to a new driver or woods. She hits her old Callaway just as far... The new irons are almost half the weight and are working out great.
Please don’t bother with this overpriced, big box store. I went in looking for a set of irons, a bag and a hybrid. I wondered around for 15 minutes without any help. Once I was approached, the staff were unprofessional, and disinterested. It was almost as if I had to beg someone to let me spend my money. After spending over $1,500 I asked if they could throw in some tees. - “sorry, the system won’t let me do that”. What a joke.
Customer Service is Improving!!!Walked in this store on Wednesday afternoon looking at getting some Tour Edge HL4 irons.Approach a sales person who walked me in to the fitting center. Tried a couple of clubs (Taylor Made and Wilson) settled on the Tour Edge HL4 irons were the best for me.Ordered that day and BING!! three business days later. The new clubs arrived at the store. Recieved a text to let me know they had arrived since I was at Walt Disney World.I am from Canada, my pro shop at my course or GolfTown (Largest golf store in Canada) could not have provided my the GREAT SERVICE I received from PGA TOUR SUPERSTORE in Orlando.Played three rounds with my NEW clubs in Orlando and I really like them!!!
By far the best customer service Ive had at a golf store. I bought a set of irons about a month ago and went back today to have the lie adjusted for my swing. They did it for me at no charge and were done by the time I walked through their showroom. PGA tour superstore will always get my business.
Worst shopping experience ever. Used to be a good store. Not anymore. I suggest to go to Edwin watts or golf galaxy don’t waist your time.
Good location. Vast selection of golf clothes and accessories. Nice fitting area.
Great Covid compliance!! Thank you!
A big fan of the PGATSS’s. But not anymore of the one in Orlando, Turkey lake. Staff did not seem to be interested in assisting us. Not in the shoe department, not in the apparel department, not in the regripping department. Went to Edwin Watts and Golf Galaxy, there the staff does make an effort..
Great store to get pretty much anything you need golf related. If you need to get fit, Sam ODonnell knows his stuff inside and out, and is pleasure to work with!
Tour van experience is a joke. The pro had me fit all wrong and he seemed annoyed with my presence. He seemed more interested in the club repair area or maybe he was dreaming of hamburger and cake who knows. But tending to me during my session wasnt his top priority. Schedule it with someone other than this Bishop character total waste of time and money.
Great place to hang out on the putting surface and I could spend all my money and all my time in that shop. All the staff are lovely and kind!!
Hubby wanted some new golf clubs and they went above and beyond to fit him with the right clubs!
🚫🛇🛇🛇🛇Steven Richter unprofessional Racist🛇🛇🛇🛇 The Store 🛇Manager🛇 I was missing 14cents in my change, I confronted the cashier than the unprofessional manager he said to me an a cool way shes being here only for 3 days!!!! thats fine is only 14 cents-like you dont need it I tell him thats not fine !!! 🚫even a penny counts 🚫-I believe he was racist with me and other clients -🚫
We visit the store every time we are in Orlando as the range of products in the store is far bigger than anything that we see elsewhere. UK golf retailers such as Online Golf or American Golf have an equally impressive range, but not in store. With the current exchange rates the USA prices are not particularly good any more, but the huge benefit of this store is being to see, touch, feel and try equipment and clothes in the flesh as it were. The huge number of launch bays is another great feature, with most shops that I have been in having only one or two. This place has about 10 as I recall and I was able to try out various irons before deciding on my AP1s.The reason for me giving only a 2 star review is the dreadful customer service. I have had some excellent interactions in the past with helpful and positive staff. However in 2018 the staff were just appalling. My wife was trying $200 Footjoys but evidently this is not a large enough purchase to warrant the young lady on the staff actually bothering to speak to her at any point. She had no customers and just roamed around doing nothing. Hello is a nice start and can I help? Is all that is needed.Similarly my enquiries about a full set of Titleist irons was too pathetic at $1000 to get anything more than a brief and cursory response. The gentleman behind the desk actually turned away from me to speak to an American person who wanted a driver shaft. Staggeringly rude. And as for the no backpacks policy. Nobody wants to leave belongings in a car, especially an obvious rental car, so this is a nonsense policy. We do a lot of shopping in Orlando and have never been presumed to be a potential thief so blatantly and offensively. Other clothes shops do not do this.RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!! Worst retail experience in Orlando. Staff are not just unfriendly but come across actually hostile. 5 stars for the actual shop, but zero stars for the terrible staff. In the end we resented giving them money.
I read the previous reviews. They are spot on! The customer service at this store is non-existent. I was looking to purchase a new set of Irons and had a lot of questions. I could only get one question out before the sales associate would walk away. Id have to go find another associate and the process repeated itself until I got tired of looking for someone to help me. I left the store without buying anything. This is really disappointing because they have such a great selection. If I owned this place Id fire everyone and start over!
Nice place but its hard to get any help. Ive been there 4 times now looking at clubs. At no time has anyone ever asked if I needed any help. Im going back to Golf Galaxy.
Not a nice place to shop.one of the staff is unfriendly. Prices are better at Ed Watts and nicer people. Just about a block away..
You want to buy golf clubs then go see a professional not some hourly employee at a retail store. If they were good they would be working as a PGA professional at a course. Here they are middle aged men making peanuts.
Exchanged a 3 wood a few days ago. Very helpful and nice about it. Been to the store a few times now. I live two hours away but the drive is worth it. Thanks, Doug
There customer service was as good as it comes, James Henderson took care of me with a total mess up by Wilson Golf on a set of irons I had ordered. PGA Super Store made the order correctly, but Wilson Golf had messed it up. James handled the problem like a pro. Thanks
The clearance is not a real clearance...I miss Golfsmith.
Tall balding employee was rude when I asked if I could hit on the simulator. He looked at the used clubs in my hand and said, Ill give you 10 minutes. I guess if I has fitting for couple grand instead a used club he might have been nicer.
Went out on a mission to purchase shoes yesterday. Prior to stoping at the PGA store I visited Edwin Watts. Good selection of shoes. Staff answered a few questions but seemed disinterested in actually selling me anything. They kept walking away before I could try anything on. Most shoes not in area where customer can access. As a result I left empty handed.Went to PGA just around the corner. The good:Received a friendly greeting at the door.Found an exceptional selection of shoes (you name it, they had it).Prices competative.Sale prices were good.Shoes were easy to access in order for me to try them on.The bad:I was in the store for an hour. The only staff interaction I had was the greeting at the front door.In the end.Found a great pair of shoes at a great sale price at PGA. Too bad the customer service did not match the selection. If I was a newbie and didnt know what I was looking for I would have left.Selection: 5 starsPrices: 4-5 starsHappy with my purchase: 5 starsCustomer service: 1 starAveraged out to 4 stars
Used to be good. Now is horrible. I left the store And drove to Edwin Watts down the road
Unfortunately, as much as an avid golfer and a working professional that I am. They tend to follow me in the store as if Im a criminal. Keep seeing the same people around me and getting asked if I need help an excessive amount of times. Please just let me shop in peace or watch me on video on something ...it is a waste of time and frustrating. Ive mostly stopped shopping there and go to Golf Galaxy across the street but every once in a while they have something I need so I just endure it. Not fun.
Helpful staff and always have what I need. Fully stocked on taylormade
Excellent selection and service!
I went to the tour van club fitting for $100 for the full bag, I could’ve done the same fitting for free at any other club fitter. I bought a set of clubs there. I went to my local club dealership “Golf Central in Ocala fl “ they offered me a better deal. I had to call and cancel they would not except the cancel over the phone for my credit card, and gave me the runaround. I will never buy anything from the PGA superstore again, I’ll shop at Edwin watts, Golf Smith, golf Central, Dick’s Sporting Goods. It was a horrible experience to say the least. I did enjoy the golf fitting and the gentleman was professional and easy to work with but it was not worth $100.When I try to cancel the order they told me I had to turn around and drive back from Ocala to Orlando to hand them my credit card I’ve never heard of anything so outrages in my life. It would have been 6 hours of driving. No Thanks. They have horrible deals and overcharge on everything. Budget golf, maple hill golf, second swing, much better deals out there if you search around then at the PGA super blah store. FYI ended up with JPX 900 forged with KBS tour stiff lite shafts, hitting a 7 iron around 185yards now can’t wait for Golf Central to get my clubs in and take them for a spin.
Poor Trudy :-( Try asking for assistance carrying your stuff next time, as the staff is great and helpful.Anyways, best store in Orlando hands down! Golfsmith, GG and Watts (how are they still in business is beyond me) are nothing compared to what PGA superstore offers. Plus prices are waaay lower! Great staff, the most friendly around.
I went to this store back in April with one objective in mind, to replace my starter set of clubs with a fitted set along with a new bag.I was a little disappointed with how long I had to wait to get on a simulator, especially because there were people there who were clearly there to goof off. I had $2,000 in my pocket, ready to buy.Get on a simulator, the customer service was alright. The guy let me hit all the clubs I was interested in, but some know it all walked over in the middle of it and was giving me a synopsis of every club made by every manufacturer this year.I walked in wanting a set of M2 irons, and potentially an M2 driver to match, along with a new taylormade bag. The know it all basically told me I didnt want the M2s because the 7 iron is really a 6, 8 irons a 7, etc.; basically the lofts dont match the numbers to make the clubs seem better. Whatever bud, I was liking my results, I hit the clubs pure, and I was ready to buy.The associate I was originally working with decided it would be best for me to go with shafts that were +1/2. I agreed and asked when I could have them in. He told me they would have to come from Taylormade and would be about a 3 week turnaround time. I expected that, and asked what we had to do to get them ordered. He explained we would fill out a form. I said okay well now I want to hit a few different drivers and 3 woods to complete my set. He told me to come back another day as there were a lot of customers waiting to get on the simulator....Left there, went to Golfsmith, ordered my clubs based on the PGA superstores recommendations. Got the M2 irons, bought an R15 driver, an R15 3-wood, a daddy long legs putter and a Taylormade bag. Total was around $1700 before tax. I had been saving up and I was ready to spoil myself... but the PGA superstore guy was more concerned about the kids behind me who wanted to goof around on the simulator...Your loss.
I came in to try an m4, knowing exactly the specs I wanted. The employee was rude and told me I need a regular flex staff. I regularly hit the ball over 300 yards. If anything, I need an extra stiff one. The employee interrupted me every time I spoke and wasnt interested in hearing what I had to say, apparently just wanting to be an a**.
I had a less than stellar experience with clubs I ordered from the online site (not from the Orlando store) and Bryan helped me out and took care of everything. Would definitely recommend this store!
Bought some golf balls about 9 am. They couldnt have been less interested or helpful. I would have gone elsewhere but I didnt have time. I will not visit again.
Great customer service. Nice golf store.
