I have no experience whatsoever buying tools, pipes, etc. so when a friend asked if I could buy specific hardware and pipes from this store, it was a bit overwhelming with the walls of various selections. However, the team over at Ace did a wonderful job for making everything simple and when I returned with what I bought, it was exactly what my friend needed. Friendly store and great service, I would 100% shop here again

They are well stocked and if they dont have it, theyll point you to an ACE that has what youre looking for.They are *friendly* and *helpful* which is something that I cant find in any of the big stores. When I had a project I needed help with, I came to this Colonial ACE Hardware, and Berkie helped me solve my problem and walked me through what to do, and pointed me directly to the supplies I needed. Id found a perfect clothes rack, but it didnt roll! Berkie helped me figure out how to get wheels on it, and now it rolls and is MUCH more useful!!Thank you and Ill bring my business back here whenever I can.

Love Ace. Wont be coming back to this location! Young girl at the counter is very rude. Ive never delt with someone at any Ace that wasnt courteous and helpful so this was a surprise. She has no business working with people.

I asked employee, Sergio to rekey my lock, he looked at his watch and said, Not today! I asked why and he said he had to go and didnt want to rush. It takes 5 minutes to do and it was 4:50pm. He didnt even apologize. Worse customer service and even worse attitude. Never ever going back there again!

SERGIO was seriously amazing, I went in looking for something to cut my anniversary ring off as my finger was severely swelling and I was in such pain, and when they saw my hand, took me to the back and cut it off for me. Customer service like no other, forever grateful.

Tools Ace Hardware theyre all over town they are absolutely the best place to find everything you need for those Home Improvement fix it up whatever type little projects. I shop them all over town and Im rarely disappointed they really know how to run a hardware store

I have breathing problems that make wearing a mask difficult for me. I went to this Ace and one of the employees told me I needed to wear a mask, I told him I couldnt and he said I would have to leave and a nearby employee said I could go outside and make an online order and pick it up at curbside. Im pretty sure turning away someone with medical problems is not allowed! I have been in many other Ace stores without any problems and I told these people about that and even though this store was in Orange county one the employees told me that the stores in Seminole county didnt allow people inside without a mask! Will not be shopping this Ace ever again, even after this craziness is over! I will drive the extra miles and give my business to Home Depot! No problems there.

Was quite literally refused help or further explanation/assistance because the question I was asking about (and I quote) - Wouldnt make us any money. Definitely felt more like a revenue margin than a customer today.

When I want to find something quickly, I walk in to my regular Ace Hardware and ask. The people here are knowledgeable and friendly. From 1/2 fasteners to chainsaws this Ace is great.

Not my favorite Ace but theyre close so whatever, I find myself here often enough out of convenience. Theres an air of pretense about the customer service here I dont like and this last time in, the employees were standing around badmouthing one of the phone customers.Unbecoming, especially from a pensioner employee.Solid two something rounded down for the low level of customer service.

This is a great hardware store, with knowledgeable staff and lots of inventory. When you need no. 9 flathead wood screws for door hinges and strike plates, and all the other stores look at you like you have two heads and green skin, this is the store you need. Great selection of knives as well.

I was looking for a very unique fastener... they didnt have it in stock at the time, but they sent me to another of their locations close by that did. Took the time to help, most appreciated.

On vacation and handling my expense reports when i realize, i lost/Misplaced my Receipt for Padlocks purchased at Ace Hardware at 2523 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando Fl. I spoke with Clarissa Curtis who pulled up my account transaction via my cell phone number, I asked if this receipt could be emailed to me. Clarissa asked me to hold and 3 minutes later Matt Skinner Manager picked up the line. After explaining my current dilemma, the TEAM at Ace Hardware was able to send me a picture of my transaction via text. If this isnt going above and beyond to create that pleasant/no worries Customer Service experience, I dont know what is. To be completely honest, we dont experience this as often as we should nowadays. I wanted to thank Matt Skinner and Clarissa Curtis for providing an excellent customer service experience!! Taurean took customer service to the next level! We went in for a bathroom shower faucet piece. Even when did not carry that specific piece, Taurean went online and tried to find the brand and piece needed. It was not an easy job to find it (we did try at home with not luck) after sometime he found the piece and contacted another Ace stores to see if they had it. The person on the other store also took some time to look for it with no luck. Taurean suggested other hardware stores that most definitely will carry this piece. We were thrilled with his knowledge, and friendliness. Even when Ace stores did not carry what we were looking for, he took the time to find us a solution.After, persistent disappointing experiences over Home Depot (where finding someone knowledgeable that WANTS to help you is a lost cause) we decided not to waste our time there and from now on visit Ace instead.Thanks for your help!
