Well laid out store with a great selection of all things sport/fitness related. Rows and rows of sneakers. Took some time to find what I wanted, but the surprising low (sale) price made it worth while. Good staff and quick check out.

Limited stock, but over all a nice store, staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of ammo and guns but you have to keep watch online to see whats in stock. Also baseball cleats are very hard to find in stock right now. Over all I give the store a 4 star rating .

Is a chain sports store, good quality products some famous brands such as Nike and Adidas, they also have their own cloth brand Magellan very comfortable and for more of a cheaper price BCG but also just as good. They also have outdoor wear, hunting, fitness, fishing equipment, guns, grills, bike much more.5min away from Millenia Mall and I4.12min away from Universal Studios.15min away from Downtown Orlando.

Its great to buy a fishing rod from a place that will put the line on. Also the costumer service was nice. Its always great when you can have a meaningful conversation with an employee. Me and my buddy got some pretty great fishing and hunting tips.

The staff was helpful and all but there really isnt any variety at academy. They only carry the local teams and the sections arent fairly organized. I went to get swim goggles and after about a half hour of searching the obvious sections I found them in the corner of the golf section...😖

I was looking for a bicycle and the staff of this store were very attentive and helped me, they care about the customer. Lake mary store I went and the one who helped me did not know anything and the last thing he told me to look online that that was all they had that store are very rude sellers. I recommend the orlando store is the best

I love Academy Sports and always stop in. Great prices! They sell everything from fishing poles to footwear. The only drawback is that my wife gets mad when I go there. She says I spent five hours there and the average is only about four. Drama Queen!

I would like to start off by saying thank you to Andrew in the fire arm department. He did a great job assisting me by taking his time. Two other good employees that helped me were Kateland and Olivia. They both were outgoing and professional. I called in and spoke to a lady named Shane who was patient and helpful as well. My only concern is the store manager Brett. Each time I visited, I felt like he was profiling me. I would look up and he would either be in close proximity or about to approach my area. He would walk by and stare at me with a really mean look. Brett never greeted me, his presence made me feel unwelcomed to be honest. If it was not for the great staff, I probably would have went elsewhere. Besides that I would recommend this store because of the staff.

Shopping at Academy Sports was satisfying! I walked directly to the womens lifestyle shoes,walking shoes right into the running shoes. Each area was plainly marked, that made my experience enjoyable.

Clean, well organized, and stocked. The staff are always SO friendly at this location, with my most recent visit having an extraordinary experience with one particular staff. Wayne was in the middle of a project, toward the end of his shift. When I approached him and asked for assistance, he dropped what he was doing to give me his full attention, then proceeded to walk me directly to the item I inquiring about, clear on the other side of the store. During the walk, asked me how my day was going and exchanged pleasantries. I really appreciated his manners and effort. We need more Waynes in the retail world.

I feel inspired to get some 6 pack abs in the store, but once Im done, I go straight to Krispy Kreme about a few minutes away.

I went to purchase a new firearm which wasn’t available at the lee vista store at the moment. From the start Victor was very inventive and communicated greatly that he would be with me shortly. Unfortunately the background check process takes a little time but Victor allowed me to go to the gym and make it back in time to complete the purchase. Overall a great experience

One of the best Academys I have been to in Central Florida. Huge selection of sale shirts with TONS of Columbia and Costa shirts. Friendly staff,clean bathrooms and a good fishing selection as well.

Shopped location by Millinal Mall. Came in for ankle braces referred by doctor. Jacob came to our assist and am grateful he did. He was personable, knowledgeable and patient with my teenager who needed them. He even assisted us in finding the ones that were most comfortable to purchase. I will be back!

The store was very clean...I went for some school shoes for my son. I looked around the store and seen that they sold a lot of of different items.

Online ordering and follow up was efficient... curbside delivery was quick. Just have to see about the product, but looks great!

Bought a few months ago shoes. like all people, I threw the box in the trash. because I was buying for myself. I have been a customer of this store for quite some time. and almost every week I buy something in this store. I am very dissatisfied with the services of this store, dissatisfied with the manager with whom I just spoke, he is a liar. About a month ago my shoes went bad inside, the plastic frame burst. and tore the fabric. outside shoes are new. I think this is a factory marriage. I was in the store a few minutes ago. I said that I know when I bought shoes and I know a bank transaction. the manager refused to do anything and decide without a shoebox and a purchase receipt. they violated my rights. I asked to check the transaction they should have in the transaction history. He told me that this will not do. that they do not store transaction history. I know that they are lying. I am disappointed in this store.

It was really nice, big and stocked up. It had a lot of stuff that was on sale which was really fun to go and see the cool stuff thats cheap. The only problem I did have is that everything there is really expensive.

Let me start with my mayor complaint about them.I reached out to then via phone about a product that I know its very hard to get right now (bullets) and of course I called them and asked if they had bullets for a hand gun...well guess what after 5minutes of being with the sales rep on the phone,I was informed that yes they had a box and so I asked them to out it aside and I was told that it cant be done...so I rushed to the store and after 40min traveling,I was told at the store that they didnt have any and that didnt know who told me that they indeed had bullets....So bottom line they lied to me and wasted my time and that was not cool at all.

I shouldn’t even put a star at all. My friend was being racially profiled by three employees and being followed around just because of the color of her skin.

AWESOME SERVICE KIND AND CONSIDERATELY

Went here to purchase a smoker last weekend. When I walked in, i asked for assistance and was given the directions of where to go. There were no carts for me to get the smoker on my own. I asked an employee for assistance and he advised me to go get a buggy from the front or go ask someone in front for help. I walked up front for help, they radioed someone to meet me in the back of the store again. That guy was very helpful to put it on the cart and get it to the front for me to pay. It was raining so when it slowed two other guys helped me put it in the car. Good experience, except for the one rep who wasnt willing to help.

This is as great as the ones in Texas and had everything I needed at the same price. I only gave it 3 stars cause the employees are really rude and could care less to help. All looked as if they really hated their jobs and didnt want to deal with anyone. Other than that is was a great store.
