Great service. Went here few months ago just to see if they can open my laptop. It only took them 15 minutes max to fix it. They didn’t charge me anything because it was easy to fix. Hard to find places you can trust these days and most are just into money. Excellent customer service as well!

Unfortunately I left with my device in worse shape than when I came in. The staff was nice and it wasnt really at the fault of their own, but I had to take my device to another place in order to actually repair it. I have been to this same company prior and they usually do a decent job, but it didnt work out this time.

About 15 months ago, I moved to Orlando and was in search for a place that could help me with my aging Apple products. Fortunately I found Experimax East Orlando. Dave Alan has particularly been helpful every time I have visited. Most recently my DVD drive in my 2009 Tower had stop working. I inquired if they had a replacement drive. The answer was yes and he even showed my how to install it when I got home. Prices are reasonable, service is outstanding . . . I wont go anywhere else to have my equipment serviced. BTW, I understand they work on other computers other than Macs if you happen to be one of those people! Check them out, you will be glad you did

My computer had a problem so I called CPS the warranty company and they sent the computer over to AJ at Experimac. AJ was totally awesome he called me to confirm what the problem was and insured me that there would be a quick repair to the computer and he would call me when it was finished. When AJ called me I came in and looked over the fixed computer and it was excellent he explain to me everything that he had done and said if there was any problems give him a quick call. On my way out I saw an iPad I asked him if he had an iPad Mini with cellular capabilities and he said one second and brought out a great iPad Mini and showed me the features. I purchased that as well and was really happy that I came in as opposed to him sending me back my computer. Not only did I get excellent service but I got a great deal on my Black Friday iPad Mini. If you are looking for a new used computer for iPad then I suggest calling AJ at the Experimac store on Alafaya Trail.

I found a great deal at Experimac on Groupon, and called them up to make sure they had what was needed to fix my iPhone 6+ that I dropped face down on concrete the night before. I spoke with Kenzie who was polite and courteous. She confirmed they had the part in stock, and that it would only take 30-45 minutes to complete the repair. I was able to drop it off with her and pick it up in the timeframe she quoted. They also back the repair with a 90-day warranty. I ended up purchasing a screen protector which they offered at a discount due to having the repair done, and its also covered by a 90-day warranty. In the end, I couldnt have asked for faster service, or a better price. Hopefully I wont need another screen repair anytime soon, but at least Ill know where to go if I do. Thanks so much!

Excellent service. I had to get my laptop fixed and it required a part to be ordered. They were very good about keeping up to date on the status of the order. When the part came in they fixed the computer within the same day.

They were really nice. However, I had to call them for an update on my laptop after 5 days of not hearing from them (not including the weekend). Also, they werent sure if there was something wrong with the hard drive or their hard drive reader. When I asked if they had another reader, they said they didnt (so I wasnt really offered any options). I asked for more specifics on what was wrong, and they gave me a very vague answer and refused to publish their notes. I went to Orlando Laptop Repair instead and I was able to get everything off of my hard drive for less than half the price and within 2 days. But, thanks for being nice over the phone I guess.

I took my 5 year old Mac Air to have the battery replaced. Im retired so I use my Mac for basic web surfing or word processing. The gentleman that helped me was super nice! The price was excellent and the repair was done quickly, they said about 30 minutes and it was that maybe a little less. I am very happy, service was excellent. I went here because it’s the only place where it’s somewhat “cheap”. I think that was definitely a mistake. I got my iPhone XR screen repaired after a pretty bad crack. Not too long after I got it fixed, it’s in my pocket and it hits into a counter just slightly, of course the screen cracks, I think their problem is that they repair it with cheap glass that isn’t from Apple, I have a feeling it’s the cheapest glass they could find and you still pay $150. To add in to this, the moment I left the store with my repaired screen, I see a lot of scratches on the screen and some weird sticker that when you peel it off, the screen pops out. I DO NOT recommend you go here, I’d rather spend the $200 at Apple where it won’t crack a month later.

My cracked phone started getting vertical lines and ink blotches from all the cracks and I made an appointment online. Just like making the online appointment, getting my phone fixed was quick and easy. The guys in the front were very nice and knowledgeable. I had class soon so thank god it took less than an hour to fix!

Very friendly staff. They fixed a cracked screen on my iPhone 8 for a very reasonable price. Better yet, during the repair there was an incident that caused damage to the back of the phone and they offered to repair that along with another small issue free of charge with zero hassle. They offered to fix those pieces without me having to address it. Excellent customer service. I will definitely us them again when I inevitably damage another mac product.

When I had battery issues, I immediately brought my laptop here for repair since I had purchased it from here several years ago. My experience with replacing my battery was overall a fustrating one. I dont have complaints with the team members in general. They are always polite and courteous. But Im very displeased with the culture of dishonesty. They gave me a day and time my laptop would be ready, and called me the previous night to confirm. The next day comes, they call me in the afternoon saying that the new battery wont be in until Wednesday (5 days later). Im questioning at this point how they suddenly dont have a battery in stock and why this was not brought up at the very beginning? I expressed from the very beginning when I brought it in that I needed my laptop to submit homework assignments. (Keep in mind this laptop is also a work laptop that I use to upload footage for clients, edit videos, and much more for my business). I felt utterly insulted that they would ASSUME, that I was going to be okay with not having my laptop for such a long period of time. If they would have been honest from the beginning, I could have had the chance to weigh my options. I could have had taken my laptop back, ordered a battery off Amazon, replaced it myself while saving precious time and a solid $75. Since I had no time to waste, I ended up going into Experimac and asking for my laptop back until the new battery came in (since the old battery still had some life left in it). They didnt give it to me, giving me some excuse about how it would be difficult to put the old battery back in. (huh???) Then the proceeded to overnight a battery since they recognized the urgency. Now, I am grateful for them doing this since I understand that that is not the norm. However, at this point, my deadlines will be past even with the overnighted battery. Again, they ASSUMED, that this would fix my problem.I am looking to purchase a new Macbook Pro laptop in the next year or so. And prior to this experience, it would have been a no-brainer that I would come back to Experimac. Again, the culture of dishonesty and assumption, is something I will not forget. I dont believe Ill be back.

My iPhone 5 battery was not holding a charge for more than 2 hours, doing some research I found the Experimac store close by that replaced my battery in less than 30 min for $50! Got my phone fixed a week ago and the replacement screens they use is very cheap. Not even 20 min after leaving the store my screen started to glitch and have high sensitivity to the touch. The screen has a blue tint and makes your iPhone feel like you have an android.(they said they can’t get a hold of the original iPhone screens but Ubreakifix has them) I bought a high quality case and screen protector and the screen is so cheap it cracked after a small drop. They have good customer service but the screens they have is not good quality, take your money elsewhere.

Took in my iPad (3rd Generation) to have the screen replaced, and despite being told that it’s typically a 24 hour turnaround for tablets, I was called a few hours later and told that it was ready for pickup. The repair itself was excellent! Made my old busted iPad look like new.

Low quality screen. It starts become laggy after a day, sometimes even too sensitive. If you have to replace a new screen, please go directly to Apple. Dont change it here or you will regret soon later.

Outstanding service and value. My 2011 MacBookPro was crushed during a bizarre accident during our vacation in Orlando. The computer was beyond repair but the guys at Experimac had an inventory of possible replacements. They made some mods to my choice (a 2013 refurbed MBPro) and salvaged the SSD from my broken one. Within 2 days I was back in business for an excellent price. If you need repairs or a replacement at a good price - (skip the mystery seller on Craigslist) - go to this Experimac.

If I could rate this place less I would. Went in to get iPhone screen fixed the only thing wrong with it was a crack. Got my phone back: 3D-touch no longer works, home button feels like it’ll fall off any second, got home and screen had almost come off on one side because it was missing a screw, go back the next day to ask about these issues and this is the response i get. “Um im sorry ma’am but you were missing both screws when you came in and I actually replaced one of them for you....” (hmm I wonder how my phone screen would have even have been attached when I got into the store without both screws... interesting... they were both there before I went in and only came out with one... and there was no offer to fix this for me... pro-tip to retailers telling a customer they are wrong and sending their item back in worse shape than it was when you gave it to them is not going to make for a very happy customer.) After paying 90 bucks the least that could be done is the screws back where they belong. At this point I would rather have my cracked screen back. It atleast worked better and had both screws to hold it in. Also in regards to the home button I asked about it and the worker said “huh I guess the adhesive is wearing off” ..... okay.... well it wasn’t like that before I brought it in..... so... that’s just fantastic. All in all just a REALLY great place to get your phone FIXED for sure😒

Service here is totally unbelievable!!!! my iPhones screen was completely cracked where I couldnt see any thing but a black screen. Experimac fixed it in literally 14min!!!!! and the price is soooo competitive. Im sticking with Expeirimac in the future

Worst place ever, do not go there they changed the screen and the iPad never worked normal again, when I when back for the warranty they said that the lcd needed to be changed and it was going to be $99, I told them that I wasn’t going to do it and when I went back to picked up the iPad was all disassembled. Not a good services....I went there because I was selling them my iMac,I could it just sell it online for 400 but I wanted tokeep the computer to people that appreciate the computeranyways the guy told my over the phone he would give me 400and when I get there he told me that he had too many and he only has 325 for my iMac, I mean......waooooo.....anyhow I left and I sold the iMac to a lucky guy for 600.....

The turnaround time is good, but the prices are kind of unfair. I thought I was getting a new hard drive for my MacBook pro, but when I looked at the complete receipt, they just did a fresh install of the OS and charged me $79.99 for just that service. OS reinstallation and reformatting can be done for free through Disk Utility and Software Center. Felt kind of ripped off...but that is my fault for not listening closely to the repairs.Oh, and they dont give you a courteous notice that all of your data will be wiped by the repair. When you pick up your laptop, they just throw in Oh btw, all your data is gone.I would go here if you need a hardware repair, because that requires opening up the device and actual labor; but they are over charging for one button push labor such as software reinstallation of the OS.
