They gave us a very fair trade promise in advance that was honored upon our arrival. Incredible value on the 2020 Ram Rebel that we purchased. I asked him to have the brake checked because it wasnt working properly and the front tires were worn out and the car was unstable. I paid for the car on Wednesday and my wife picked up on Saturday. When I drive the car, the brakes are making A LOT of NOISE (no braking) and the front tires are making a noise. Im waiting for the return of the email I sent to Fabian, but no return. UNFORTUNATE! Also, the car is VERY DIRTY INSIDE!! They told me they were going to do a detailed cleaning, but they didnt.
Since the first time I got to the dealer, Mauricio was a very knowledgeable, experienced sale person, everything I ask about the Jeep Gladiator he knew the answer, very polite and really helpful. Purchased a vehicle from the Orlando sales lot in November 2020 (this was not a rental). The single key they gave me never worked for the glove box (at least the key fob worked to start the car and open the doors). I suspect it was the wrong key. I was told they would send me a second key in the mail after they received it from Corporate. I called corporate (and this dealership directly) numerous times and created a couple of case numbers. I still have never received a second key (as of July 2021). The person in the finance department was extremely rude. I had to replace the brake rotors immediately after purchase but the brake pads were pretty new. I suspect that experiences will vary by location (this was the Orlando location). If purchasing a vehicle from this location, I would recommend making sure there are no outstanding issues that require follow-up before purchase. This is such a shame because the sales person was nice; and the price was fair. It really wouldnt have taken much effort to make it a 5 star experience. However the hours and hours lost being on hold and in trying to remedy the key situation, the warped brake rotors and the rudeness of the person in the finance department really made me wish I had chosen differently.
I bought my dream car, a 2019 mustang gt from Avis car sales and the experience was so unbelievably smooth I was waiting for a phone call saying “we messed up” or “there was a mistake!” They gave me a great deal! My interest rate is 3 points lower than the offer I was pre approved for. I was in and out in less than a hour. I would definitely do business with Juan, and Robert anytime. To call them professional would be a understatement!
I went in to look at a used car and they let me test drive it just fine. When negotiating a price i was working with Jose Mateo and he was nice up until we were ready to leave without purchasing. He just dismissed me and we went out separate ways. The car was sold days later and since then he has sent me 3 emails all saying “the car you are interested in has sold”. At this point it may be out of spite for not purchasing it, I’m not sure. Do not work with this place. They don’t take kindly to those who do not purchase from them.
Mauricio was my salesman and was he very friendly and cordial. I purchased a 2020 Corolla for a decent price, considering the current market condition. Mauricio made sure the car was cleaned inside and out. I went to the bank to obtain a cashiers check, the paperwork was ready when I returned to the dealer, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. The sales process was stress-free and easy.
One day of purchase and the car was over heating. Look at the front of the car and noticed a a smashed radiator.This car was purchased with a significant down payment and what I received was a lemon. I should have gone with my gut feeling and known that this was a scam since everything was rushed. DO NOT TRUST the CAR FAX or this company. They are disloyal and have faulty practices. This place was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was pre-approved for an auto loan after finding a red 2020 Chevy Malibu LT, came down with my father yesterday (4/14) and we were met with fantastic customer service. Juan B was top notch, truly an outstanding person to work with, super knowledgeable and helpful and beyond friendly to talk to. I forget the name of the man we worked with afterwards for all of the financial paperwork and feel terrible for it, but he was also great to deal with as we got through the paperwork VERY quickly. A simple test drive, some info, paperwork and we were out with my car. Brilliant service.

I only gave 5 stars because I did not have a chance to give ten stars. Juan and Luis should get a prize for CUSTOMER SERVICE, RESPECT and HELPFULNESS. I am a female engineer who is very skeptical about used car sales men because they often are condescending to women and always try to pull one over on them. I can say without any reservation that my experience at Avis car sales was different. It was really like meeting your family and them helping you in any way they can to get the BEST PRICE and BEST CAR and EXTRAS for your money. The Avis Car sales team HAVE YOUR BACK.. I am eternally grateful for ALL the accommodations made for me only to realize that everyone who walks through their door is treated the same . I am going to recommend them to my entire family and friends list because I know that they will be TREATED WELL and WALK AWAY HAPPY WITH A CAR of THEIR CHOICE in a.FEW HRS with NO HAGGLING and only positive vibes like I did. I absolutely love my car. Battery died a week after I bought it so that wasn’t fun. Also, I was told my second key was at another dealership and it would be mailed to me. Of course I never received it. So I took off 2 stars for my 2 inconveniences.
Was shopping around for a new car at a few dealerships and settled on Avis due to their selection and their price points.Worked primarily with Cassandra. Came into Avis with a car in mind, but when I described what I was looking for, she had multiple suggestions that fit. The car that I thought I was going to get changed 3 times over the process. Every question I had (and I had a lot), Cassandra had both an answer and recommendation. Her honesty, knowledge, and patience led me to decide on a model and finance plan that I was ecstatic to move forward with.Then worked with Mauricio regarding a lot of the paperwork and finalizing steps. He made the process, simple, fluid and answered all of my questions and concerns without bogging with unnecessary details.I work for a large company as an Industrial Engineer and work with 10 building managers and their teams across Central Florida with the aim of improving productivity. I brought that same energy and business standards to Avis to ensure that I got the best deal possible and to make sure I could trust the opinions of the sales reps that I worked with.Overall, I was extremely impressed with both Cassandra and Mauricio. They were able to answer all of my questions on the fly and were very patient with me through the whole process, despite how busy the dealership got. Will be recommending them and Avis to others in the future.
Surprisingly rude and unhelpful staff toward enthusiastic car buyers who are incredibly interested and seriously inquiring about a car. Maybe it was just a bad day, but these folks do NOT make car buying or inquiry easy as the website suggests. Truly disappointed in the service here. Yikes.

I have to share my amazing experience at Avis....it was just that amazing!! Juan B was the sales rep that helped us out and he was so great! He was patient and never pushy. I test drove 5 cars and I could never have done that anywhere else. Juan kept telling me no problem - you take your time and do what you need to do. He was never pushy when we were trying to decide which car and he was very helpful with the process and very pleasant to speak with. When we were ready we moved over to Luis the finance guy and he was great too! He explained everything and went over things we were confused about in a respectful manner. We will be coming back here for sure when we are ready for our next car and I will definitely recommend Avis to anyone wanting a great used car that has such a better price option out there than anywhere else we were looking.Thanks again to Juan and Luis for being great at their job and for Avis for such a great deal!!

I am shocked and appalled in Victor the general manager’s demeanor. The reviews are spot on he definitely isn’t the representative Avis wants I’m sure. He appeared to be drunk when I was there and there were other customers complaining at the time. I had a very bad experience there and he made it worse. I can not believe Avis puts their name and reputation on the line for this place and this general manager. They really need someone new as 3.8 stars shows. I don’t recommend this place to buy a car and I don’t recommend the management.

The worst, They sold me a vehicle with issues, They when it was put in the shop (Firestone) They had the tech turn off the check engine light, Then lie that it was not on. Of course it came back on so I had to bring it to a real garage, Stay away from Avis and Stay away from Firestone on Colonial dr. Beware of these Shysters.

All my questions were addressed in a very friendly manner, I had 2 individuals assist me in finding my 2020 Hyundai Elantra, Juan and Cassandra, I had a question about discounting of vehicles and was introduced to the General Manager, he went over the numbers and showed me on his computer where I was getting and excellent price and the car I was looking at was priced the lowest in the area. I highly recommend buying a car from Avis, this was the easiest non pressure experience I have ever had in my years purchasing a car .
I just had the most atrocious experience. Parking is difficult to find and not clearly marked where the sales parking is located, the sign tells you to go to a different entrance and unless you go through the service bay you cannot get to the assigned parking. When I arrived I waited for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, someone finally asks what I’m looking for only to be handed the keys and told to find it myself on the lot. Walked the entire lot, could not find the car anywhere. Walked back in and told her how unprofessional it is that nobody greeted us and that a potential customer shouldn’t have to walk an entire lot alone to play find the needle in the haystack. As a sales rep you should put more effort into making that sale. Do your job and know where your cars are, value your customer and dress like you actually want to make money. Rather than damage control or trying to work it out she told me “we have a lot of cars, how am I supposed to know where they all are on the lot” and told me to have a nice day. She wasn’t even wearing a name tag so I couldn’t get her name. It’s unfortunate because I was more than prepared to spend the $16,000 if it matched what we were looking for. Car buying is already stressful as it is, compounding it with an unprofessional environment and unprofessional attitude by sales, it was a nightmare. Because of the unprofessionalism they lost out on the valuable opportunity and I’ll certainly be telling those what company to avoid when looking for a used car.Do better, be better.

He sold us a car with a defective key.When we contacted him just seven days after the purchase he said he will contact Avis on our behalf and make them aware of the situation.Two months later when we contacted him again he made excuses andasked about our case as though he had no recollection.I bought new keys with my own money.My original review at car purchase was this:Mauricio Gonzalez was assume and helped us out with great and fast service!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. We awaiting a quite a bit before someone acknowledged us on Saturday. I wasn’t really irritated because I figured they were busy. When someone finally came up to me, I was able to test drive a car. I liked the car so I went ahead and started the financing process. They were getting ready to close so I was told to come back Monday. I came back and they told me multiple times that I would be leaving with my car TODAY! I sign all of the needed documentation and immediately after I did, they refused to give me the car. The financial guy was straight up rude, he refused to give us his name and threatened to call law enforcement on us because I wanted a copy of all the documents I signed. Luckily I have photo copies for proof. He even informed me that he would give me copies of the signed documents but then refused. The whole mood changed with the employees here after I signed all of the papers. Please please please do not ignore the negative reviews because they’re being completely honest. It’s unfortunate how rude the customer service was but it’s very unfortunate that I was lied to in addition. I would not recommend anyone going to do business here.
My wife and brought a car from Avis about three ago. Everyone at first was amiable. When we got the car, we sign all the paperwork. Then they hand us the key. I asked where is the other key. They told us the car only come with one. They said they can look for the other key. They have not called me back. Then they said they cant transfer our plate. I ask them to give us a temp plate; they said Avis doesnt do that, which was kind of strange. I brought cars from a different dealership before the last one was Enterprise car sales, and they give a temp plate. When I went to the tax office, they told me it was an issue with the tolls, and they clear my tag. I asked them how come the dealer could not issue me a temp tag? They reply to any online dealership that can give temp Tag. Also, they said they get kickbacks when they issue the tag at the dealer.Furthermore they told me to go back have them transfer the tag. I called Juan to tell them about this. I said to me that someone will get back to me. Nobody had called me back all at. Today I finally talk to GM Victor. Victor spoke to me like I was a piece of trash. He over talks to me every time I make a point. I told me you signed the paper, and here is the toll-free number. So after they make the sale, they dont want to bother you. I was thinking about buying another car at Avis because of their customer service; Im going to Enterprise car sales.

The car I was interested in buying had a seat missing and it was a 2020 model. It had no owners manual with it and other parts were missing that had to be ordered. Why werent these parts already ordered and in the car? The salesman gave me his card with three phone numbers on it two of which were out of service and he never answered the one that did work I always had to leave a message for him then he would text me back. I did buy the car with parts missing but was told that parts will be in this weekend. I will wait and see...
75 days after purchase from Avis Car Sales - Orlando and they still havent filed the paperwork to register my car! The temporary tags they issued have expired and Im unable to even drive my car legally. When I call the dealer they tell me to call Avis Corporate and act like its not their problem. Corporate is a dead-end and dont even answer the phone. Extremely poor service after the sale. Even the General Manager has ignored my email explaining my issue. Great deal on the car but you get what you pay for, BEWARE!
Only one star because Mr Gonzales was helpful and he was the only person wearing a mask! I was shocked when I entered the place! It was like covid19 never existed! They were really inconsiderate! I even mentioned that I have a lung problem and concerned because they were not wearing a mask but nothing changed! No masks! No social distancing! I wonder in what world they are living?! How thoughtless and selfish someone should be to not care about their and other peoples health! So disappointed!!!!
Their sales strategy is too aggressive for me. They call every day with different agents at the most inconvenient times. I keep explaining I work 3rd shift so DO NOT call, text or email please. If you have to call them these are the times. I keep getting awoken from my sleep by someone else. Plus, I dont need anyone to pressure me to buy their car. It should be a pleasant transactional relationship not torture for me.
The service was horrible, I got there around 1pm couldnt find a salesperson to help us. Most of the cars didnt have, the price on them. After walking around for about 40 minutes someone finally appeared to answer few questions. Then dissappear again, the internet price was not the same at the lot. They marked up the price by an additional 2000 dollars. So after 3 hours later, I ended up leaving with no car, frustrated & a wasted of time. The sales team that work at Avis doesnt respect or value your time & business. Look elsewhere.

Good selection and easy test drive but high price on a 2020 Santa FE SE. They want $20,000 plus about $1000 in dealer fees. I paid $24,500 new at a dealership including the dealer fee and received 2.9% financing. So for $3500 more, I purchased a brand new Santa Fe SE with full warranty. This lot had 14 used 2020 Santa Fe SEs, so guess no one is buying at $21000, when new is $24,500 with 2.9% financing from the manufacturer. If they do not lower their prices, they will be stuck with a bunch of 2020 models next year. Also, Avis finance rates are very high compared the the dealers. I would have purchased if the prices were lower.

I would give it zero stars if i could. I walked in one day, there were four people working and two customers. Nobody greeted me. After ten minutes i finally interrupted someone. He gave me a quote on a vehicle complete with dealer fees, tax, title, registration. The next day I returned. This time no customers. Female sales associate was just casually chatting with manager. I sat there for ten minutes. Again, had i not interrupted them i wouldve stood there all day. Told them i wanted to buy the car but they refused to honor previous days quote. Added $499 paint protection that wasnt there the day before. I asked her what it was. A crystal coating she said. I asked to know the specific compound. I found a promo video that just say organic and synthetic components (i.e., carnuba wax and silicon you can get in a bottle for $10). I said i refuse to pay doe for it. Manager claims it has been applied to every vehicle. I ask to see the documentation that it has been applied to the vehicle i want. Dodges question says its mandated by corporate. I ask to see it actually applied to a car, any car, or at least see the bottle. Take it or leave it, he says, walks out. So i walked out too. Bought same care 1 year newer and 6000 fewer miles from avis sales in tampa. Great experience with ana. Make the drive, go there. Avoid this place at all costs. They dont deserve a dime.
The ability to test drive the car by renting it for a few days is nice but that is the only perk to buying from Avis. During the whole car buying process, youre dealing with someone in another state. They hardly return phone calls or answer emails in a timely manner. The process to purchase my car took 3 weeks! They also dont clean the car before you pick it up. My preference is a dealership for better customer service, faster processing, and a clean car.
My experience with this car dealer was outstanding. Since the moment I walked in I was welcomed by Mauricio Gonzalez, he made me feel at ease and comfortable like I had been there multiple times before. I told him what I was interested in, and within minutes I was able to inspect the vehicles and try them. He gave me multiple options, and explained the whole process. He was very flexible, and tried to accommodate my requests as possible. At the end, I left truly happy with my purchase, and this was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had. Purchased a 2019 Kia Soul on 7.17.2020. was helped through the process by Mauricio and he made the entire trip worth it. I did not feel any pressure from him to buy, answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the car I bought. Do not go here. If you do go here, do not believe anything they say. They will tell you anything to make sale but service is terrible afterwards. I bought two cars here in July. They screwed up plates/title for months and left me with expired temp tags twice. They are very good at not returning calls and dropping the call when they transfer. They promised that they would provide 2nd set of keys for the TWO cars I purchased. They broke that promise. They had very elaborate story when I purchased about how they always get the keys a couple days later from airport office and they would mail to us right away. After 6 months and about a dozen phone calls I’ve given up on them being honest. Juan was the slick salesman who promised the keys to my face when I purchased cars then managed to sidestep our calls for 6 months. My wife even stopped by a couple times when taking my son to Orlando for chemotherapy but Juan hid from her. We finally talked to a Manager named Victor Hodge today. He was very rude, wouldn’t let us talk, and stated that he didn’t care what his salesman promised unless we have something in writing that they are legally obligated to provide these keys — because they were just too busy and understaffed to get them from other office and send to us. If you do go here, don’t believe anything they say and expect zero service after you sign the check. Absolutely the shadiest car dealership I’ve ever experienced.I just read other reviews. I wish I’d read BEFORE I went here. Seems like common themes of Victor Hodge being extremely rude, title/plate issues and inattention, dodging phone calls and emails, and elaborate stories about 2nd keys “at the airport” that never materialize. I guess the poor service I got was the norm for Avis.

Best experience I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. They have earned my trust and I plan on being back. I’ve been telling everyone I know about Avis Car Sales. Avis Car Sales is going about selling vehicles in a easy, no pressure way that’s very satisfying. They’ll probably have what your looking for with low miles and a better price than you’ll find anywhere. Maurico was great to deal with and there’s no need to haggle on price. He’ll give you his best price right over the phone. He’ll make sure your happy during and after your purchase. In fact, I found out the next morning that the battery needed to be replaced and Maurico took care of the cost without question. I just had to drive it to one of their repair locations after getting it jumped. He also provided me with new comparable front floor mats, because all four of them were removed prior. The only blemish in my overall best vehicle buying experience is that I’m still waiting on corporate to provide their maintenance log on my vehicle. Hopefully, someone reading this can take care of that for me?
The car buying experience was fine. I did my research prior to coming, knew roughly the cars I wanted to look at. Test driving was no big deal. Took a couple around and made a quick decision on which I wanted. I wasnt in for a bells and whistles type deal. We spent about 3 hours there between the others waiting and all the back and forth everyone else ahead of us had to do.I was already pre-approved and had my bank offer letter and was insistent they not run my credit through THEIR bank when running my application. Of course they did and I got no less than 3 alerts immediately while sitting in the sales agents office, while he was still running my app with the Finance Manager. I said nothing because I didnt want a scene. I wanted my car and to get out.Eventually, I got my car, got out and took it back to North Carolina. I had it looked at by the Hyndai up here and they confirmed I got a good deal, it was in great condition, however they really didnt maintain the simple things like they were supposed to, so I needed to bring it in soon. (For example, its hardly driven and I can confirm the air filter is a disaster)But the reason for the one star is that I bought the car in late June/Early July. Its now mid-January and I am riding around on expired plates from November. They refuse to pay the state what I already paid them, so I can get my plates. Ive had cops follow me this week and near in panic due to the fact I dont have valid plates. I have to be extremely cautious when driving. Ive contacted them no less than 8 times and every time I get silence or the same canned email response asking me for the same information over and over. I send it, along with the PDF scan of the entire deal...crickets.At this point, its just a matter of a lawsuit since they dont want to pay. I can see others have had this experience so apparently this is the only way to get this done. Theyve got my money so now they need to pay.
I searched every dealer in Orlando and surrounding areas for a late model vehicle with modern features such as Apple CarPlay and lane assist for under $12,000 with low mileage. Nothing satisfied what I was looking for until I came across Avis Sales. I was able to buy a beautiful 2020 Kia Forte LXS with all the modern technology features and some safety features with 25K miles on it for $11,998 before taxes! That is UNHEARD OF ANYWHERE ELSE! Avis buys new cars in bulk at a discounted rate, uses them as rental till they reach 25-35k miles, then sells them. They sale these cars at auction price so you dont have to worry about being upcharged or negotiating the price. I did a ton of research online, so when I got there I was prepared with the stock numbers of the cars I wanted to look at. The saleswoman Cassandra found the keys for those 5 vehicles and gave them to me to check out on the lot. My uncle and I inspected the 5 cars and narrowed down my favorite based on features, mileage, price and lowest amount of small cosmetics issues such as minor scratches. Once I found the car I wanted to test drive she pulled it around for me and let us have free rein. This wouldve been a good time to take the car to a mechanic to get it fully inspected but it was spotless under the hood, tires had lots of tread left, no weird engine sounds or rattling and we knew Avis keeps their cars well maintained. After I decided on the car, I did the credit app for financing. Cassandra brought me a quote from Bank of America. I let her know I was applying for financing through my credit union Envision as well because they were offering a 2.99 APR and no payments for 90 days. Cassandra then brought me another quote from Bank of America where they beat my credit unions APR off with a 2.79 APR for a 72 month term. I went with the Bank of America financing through Avis and my payments are only 212/month. And guess how much $ I put down. NOTHING-$0. I really do believe I got the greatest possible deal I couldve gotten. Also in the financing process you can pay to have the car certified as a certified used car by the manufacturer which would give you the full certified pre-owned warranty that the manufacturer gives their certified cars. I am thrilled with my car purchase and I recommend them to anyone looking for a well maintained, late model car with all the bells and whistles at a low price with no hassle salespeople. Best prices found by $1200 on a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE at all Toyota dealers and rental car sales agencies. Fantastic, friendly staff, very helpful staff that treated us very well. Pick out a car, they hand you the keys, take it for a spin and/or to be checked out by your mechanic, then purchase. They made it all very enjoyable.
Only gave 1 star because M Gonzalaz the sales person was great. He tried to assist us but to no avail. Bought our vehicle in July still have not tag and registration or title we paid cash for the car. Now in the process of taking them to court. The manager Victor Hodge is very rude and will not help he keep sending us to other places and the calls always comes back to him. Like i said he is very rude and will over talk you and will hang up on you. Please be careful when buying a car from this company P. We will never take our business there again and I hope this help others not to go there also

Fastest car buying experience Ive ever had - drove new car away within two hours of showing up and that included browsing the vehicles I had on my list to see. Mauricio gave us a friendly greeting when we arrived and let us have a look around without interruption. When we were ready he got keys for us to have a closer look, and again later to get us out for a test drive. He helped explain the numbers the way that we wanted to do the math. There was never any pressure. This is a no-haggle store, but he was able to request a slight bump in our trade-in value to make the deal come together. I didnt need their financing and they didnt pressure me to use it or to take any warranty plans, etc. but they made sure I knew what was available and what their recommendations were for my particular vehicle. This is also my 3rd retired rental car purchase so I am very used to that, but it was my first experience at Avis and I will absolutely be back. It was the best experience ever.

Juan and Vic were great. Bought an adorable VW Beetle convertible.Revision...have been waiting for the second key to the car since July 2020. Called several times...was put on hold November 30, 2020 for 16 minutes. No one came back. After more calls, talked to another salesman. He said he would have Vic call me right back. It is now December 31, 2020....I am waiting for the call....and the key. REALLY BAD AFTER SALE SERVICE.
I came in as a walk in and told them I specifically wanted to use one lender, They were completely straight forward off rip and told me right after doing initial application what I was going to be looking at for down payment, Came back and told me what monthly I was looking at and they worked the numbers until I was good with them, He said ok and printed up all my paper work so the next day all I had to do was paperwork, I left and went and explored another dealership who went behind my back and sent my credit to 6 different dealerships and offered me 88 more a month then Avis did, I immediately left and went to Avis, I showed up at 4:30 and even with them super busy and closing at five they came to me and said they had a way to get my payment down 60 more dollars than I initially thought, I would definitely recommend them, Cassandra C is such a cool person and helpful, If u want a upfront and more honest dealer this is where u want to be, We are so happy with our Dodge Durango GT thank u guys so much.
Worst experience. I don’t live in Orlando so I was talking to a salesman through text about a car. He had sent me pictures. We talked about price. I told this gentleman I was coming to get it Saturday. I told him that I was definitely getting the car. Didn’t say anything to me about putting a deposit down to hold the vehicle. He sold it and didn’t say anything to me about it. When I asked him he said oh well we have another one and it’s in better shape. So I traveled 4 hours to get the car that was in “better shape”. The car was absolutely disgusting stains everywhere, one of the vents were broke and scratches everywhere. I will never go here again.
3 months after I made a down payment of $1000 dollars I get charged again. I used my debit card. It was out immediately. I watched the money leave my account in February. As a single parent I make sure I am aware of every dollar that leaves and enters my account. Really terrible way to handle money. Looks like they got 2k from me instead. ALL of my bills bounced this month because of this.
Bought a 2019 VW Passat on 2/12/20 and was charged 200$ for a title transfer I was told if it did not cost that much I would be reimbursed for the difference, the total cost was 78.25$ I am still waiting to be reimbursed and it is now 12-17-20. Have tried to contact Avis more times than I care to count but to no avail. This company once they have your money your out of luck the customer service is nowhere to be found it is hooray for me and the heck with you. BEWARE.

My father sold cars for a living and I spent my youth around dealerships. Over my lifetime I have probably purchased 20 or more vehicles. I was initially hesitant to shop here (at a used rental sales lot) but I am certainly a believer now. We shopped at a lot of used car lots for this purchase and I cant say enough good things about how we were treated at AVIS Orlando. The salesman, Mike, and the manager, Danny went above and beyond our expectations. The price was very fair for the vehicle we purchased. The car was in great condition inside and out but they went the extra mile to fix all minor dings and scratches before we picked up the vehicle. After the sale we had a few issues happen with the car (not hidden problems but problems caused by others). I called the manager Danny and he assisted me in finding the replacement parts I needed at the best possible price and assisted setting up place that would make the repairs. I am telling all my friends this is the first place to shop. I know it will be the first place I go from now on! Thank you Danny! Your AVIS sales team is the best and we will be back!
I went to view a car coming from Miami, and i was ready to buy the car UNTIL they came back with the purchasing paperwork and i noticed there was $1,100 in fees for absolutely nothing. (799 dealer fee, 299 EFE fee?????????? ). The sales tax was calculated at 6.3% (i thought Florida was 6%), and fixed state cost like tag and title fees were marked up as well. Amazing.... Florida has no lemon laws or laws stopping dealers from charging any set amount on fake... i mean dealer fees, which is why its one of the worse places to buy a car. Avis is one of the worse places ive ever been to buy a car. (DID NOT BUY)
I was shocked! I had an appointment with Mauricio. I asked for him. The first guy said something about a sales associate and left me alone. The next one, Juan Bermudez, just said, Mauricio has his day off, what do you want. I was irritated so Juan mentioned I could come back tomorrow. I was even more irritated. I would expect any kind of apology and a friendly, maybe I can help you? So I asked if this is the way they usually treat their customers. Juans response was clear. You dont have to buy a car here, there is a door and there is another one I have never experienced such an unprofessional and unfriendly sales person. I asked for the manager. He said that he is one of the managers. I will definitely never do any kind of business with Avis. I drove 130 miles to buy a car.

Very bad service. I dont know how poor it can be when you call after sales services. I bought a Toyota Tundra from Orlando location at E Colonial Street location, they just gave me only one key. When I ask for the second one, the Salesman replied they other one at our Airport Office, they will collect it and send it to me. I bought it on July 28, 2020 and until now which is November 13, 2020, no response whatsoever. Called several times, does not even pick up, the message box is full, you cannot even leave a message. The main problem comes now. Temporary registration will expire in end of December. I paid for the renewal to the DMV twice, every time they denied to renew. They said they do not have any documentation from the dealership to renew. The Highway Petrol asked me to contact the dealership. And they do not pick up. Now I have to go personally driving 50 miles. I dont know what experience I am going to have there.

My experience with Avis car sales Orlando has been absolutely horrible. So, I got my 15 day payoff for my auto loan company on August 19, 2020 because I was intending to trade it in on the 20th. (My car payment is due on the 26th). I ended up trading in as planned. I have a pass due date reminder for my previous loan company to reach out. So on the 28th of August my previous loan company, Statefarm, contacted me saying they haven’t received a payment for the month of August. I called the dealership Avis and told them. They said it takes 15-20 days to pay off the loan balance and it’s best if I make that final car payment so it will not negatively affect my credit score and statefarm will send me a REIMBURSE/ Overage check. So okay cool, I did that. Now it’s September 5th 2020 and I just got off the phone with Statefarm and Avis car sales made a partial payment like what !? There is still an open account with statefarm and balance is STILL owed. With that being said, I have an open account with TD finance (new loan company) showing the entire balance of the new vehicle. StateFarm stated they’ve tried to contact Avis car sales but NO ONE HAS responded. Here I am, 16 days after trading in my vehicle, walking them through the process. I have traded in several vehicles and every dealership I’ve went through (prince Chevrolet, cass burch, etc.) everything is paid off and handled on their end within a few days. Didn’t have to call anyone. NOW I am waiting on a payment back from Avis Car Sales to be reimbursed from my car payment ( which I’m sure is going to be another hassle) AND waiting on them to pay off the remainder of my car balance at StateFarm so I don’t have two vehicle loans in my name! The trade-in process/finance side of this dealership is horrible. I would not recommend buying from here. By the way I live 3hr away from this dealership and majority of it has to be handled over the phone because I’m a full time college student and full time employee so I can’t travel that distance at a spur of the moment. Getting in contact with Avis Car Sales Orlando over the phone... let’s just say good luck.It is now October 27th 2020. I did not get reimbursed for my final car payment as mentioned before and I actually had to come out of pocket with another $152 for early termination fee on my StateFarm loan that Avis did not pay. I have yet to receive my tag for my new vehicle and I purchased 2 months and 7 days ago. I emailed Avis and all the general manager, Victor, does is reply with a letter saying there will be a delay in the process. So I called and emailed the information listed and no response per usual. And my local tag office has not received any paper work from Avis Car sales in regards to this new vehicle.
The price of the car was good, sales person a HUGE NEGATIVE. 2 very similar cars were on their website. We inquired about the one with slightly less mileage and were told that it was sold - cars selling so fast they could not keep up. Yet, the lower milage car was on the lot still for sale when we came in. For the test drive a photo copy of a drivers license was taken. Later this copy was used to title the car without us ever being asked how we wanted it titled; now we have to go to DMV in 45+ days to change the title. It took us over 4 hours to go through the purchasing process. Once we signed for an agreed upon price the sales lady acted arrogantly as though we were taking to much of her time. Talking as she left the room, carelessly giving generalized directions, and never saying thank you for our purchase. She in fact left the dealership while we sat waiting in line for the financial person to complete the sale. The most unsatisfying purchase we have ever made - though the car seems to be good.

I purchased vehicle from this location even though communication was spotty at best and dealership fees were exorbitant (overcharged even for fixed cost things such as state registration and title)...vehicle was not detailed, like looked as if had just been off-roaring. upon arrival and had cosmetic issues not displayed in photos.Three months later my vehicle still isnt registered. I have reached out several times with no reply from anyone at dealership. I’m talking unanswered emails, inquiry forms and voicemails here. There is no way to contact anyone from corporate level as corporate line is created not to have to interactIon just pushes you to a full vm. When finally getting in contact with my salesperson Mauricio he advised he would work on it and send me a temporary extended tag. That was a month ago, guess what still dont even have a temp tag, so driving is illegal giving cops a reason to pull me over. This place is unprofessional my advice is to stay very far away.Most recently the Manager Victor told me after three months he has heard nothing from corporate office and seemed to think I should be satisfied with that response lol. How is it possible that a dealership has no communication with the headquarters for months if actively seeking resolution on behalf of a customer? I work in car industry I can ensure you that is not possible for dealerships and corporate offices to have that level of disconnect and lack of communication. So he proceeds to tell me he doesn’t know anything more and hangs up. I call back and he says same I don’t know anything there is no answer I can provide you registration could take up to 5 months...then says I’m not talking to you any more call corporate yourself and gives me number to generic Avis rental car. Part of me thinks this is some sort of scam I have had other customers with similar issues reach out to me on social media and review boards saying they are obtaining attorneys And working with Florida regulators.Trust me just go to a real dealership.

We worked with Mauricio, and was pleasantly surprised by the way we were treated, I had some doubts about buying from a rental company but found them to be not the case.We got a very fair price on the truck we were buying, and they even supplied us with new tires at a firestone dealer and extra key fob.I called back to him a week later with questions about registration and he was very helpful, and explained everything was already taken care of, and would receive the title in the mail.
