Great rental service. Bike was really well tuned. Able to cycle for miles on bike trials close by. Highly recommended.
I agree with Andres. I was treated abrasively from the start. Very poor customer service skills. All that is needed is kindness and welcome, but that was not to be seen here. If it wasn’t that I needed a specific item that could not be found in other local shops due to the pandemic, I would have gone elsewhere. Will not be returning that’s for sure.
Not happy with customer service at this place. The manager is rude, confrontational, and is clearly clueless of the importance of establishing a long lasting relationship with customers to generate more business. Its simple! Be very friendly and welcoming. Smile! Mind your body language. Listen to your customers. Provide honest and knowledgeable advice. Make the customer feel appreciated and respected. Btw, follow up calls... go a long way! This is costumer service 101.I just upgraded my drivetrain, and bought my wife a $700 bike. Unfortunately, I had to drive a bit further away from home to get better service.
Brett and his team are awesome. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the store, it was time to upgrade myself to a new bike and Brett helped fit me and put me into a beautiful new felt. Will certainly be using Elite Bikes Orlando for all my servicing and maintenance needs, I can’t recommend them enough !
Rudely refused entery because we didnt have masks.
Really had an awesome experience with this bike shop. We were visiting from Dallas and wanted to keep up with our training, so I reached out to Elite Bikes to arrange a couple bike tours and rentals. As far as I could see, they were the only shop in Florida that offered road bike rentals catered to serious cyclists. I spoke with Brett at the shop who was super helpful, always checking back in with me to make sure he had all our specs ready to go. They got all our bike fit measurements and let us use our own Garmin pedals, and provided a Garmin mount for our computers. When we arrived for the first day, the bikes were perfectly dialed in to our specs. They provided two excellent carbon Masi road bikes, both with Shimano 105. They felt fast and responsive, and in perfect working order — a much higher end experience for a ‘rental’ bike. They also provided some Cliff Block gummies, and Nuun, tho we brought our own hydration. Our tour guide was a beast of a cyclist, Javier, who took us on an awesome and epic tour of the hills around Winter Garden and Lake Apopka. Who knew Florida has hills! We did about 2000 ft of climbing over 30 miles in the first hour and half, then did about 15 miles of flat gravel around the lake and got a nice wildlife tour to boot! And wrapped up with 15 more miles back to the start of the ride. Pretty challenging first day with 60 miles total over 4 hours. Javier had us working hard through some amazing rolling hills and a few challenging short climbs. The gravel section on 25mm road wheels was maybe a bit too much for us technically, I stacked it once at the beginning but just had a few scrapes. That section I’d opt for proper gravel bikes. But it was an adventure none the less. On the road climbs we even got a wicked decent in and hit 53mph! After a great delay of riding, we wrapped up where we started and the bike shop employee Brian (or Bryan) met us, and gave us a good lay of the land to find some great food. He even gave us a great deal to hang onto the bikes until our next ride the following weekend. That’ll give us an opportunity to get a few shorter rides in during the week. All in all, we had an amazing experience with Elite Bikes Orlando and highly recommend them. Cheers!
Brett is so awesome!!!! The shop has a bunch of really nice parts and some awesome bikes! go check him out!! Tell him the 407 Hype Man sent you
Extremely horrible disrespectful customer service by the employees from the moment I walked in the door he had a nasty attitude and was rude disrespectful don’t bother wasting your time paying these bigots a visit.
I have found my favorite bike shop in Orlando
Came in off street with tire problem, they fixed it immediately and I had never been there before. Good customer service. I would continue to do business with elite biked.
Great place for bike rental on Cady Way trail.
I went into the store today for the very first time and they were very helpful. They had just what I needed. It’s a new location for them. It’s on East Colonial and next to the Cady Way bike path. Next time I will ride my bike there.
We were warmly greeted by Brian just as he was opening up shop. We rented out a surrey for us and our dog. Very affordable by the hour. Did a tour of Lake Baldwin. What an amazing ride! Will definitely come back! Thanks Brian for such an enjoyable experience!
Went in for a bike. Met with Brett. We was very knowledgeable and awesome to work with. Would highly recommend them and definitely a lifetime customer now
Good shop, well maintained bikes but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Brett may have been having a bad day, but we got the impression that he assumed that because we didnt look and dress like a super biker, we knew NOTHING. We enjoyed the bikes and the area. Didnt care much for the attitude.
Great experience with Elite bikes, super friendly and easy going. They know their bike stuff, but wont be pushy or too in your face with it. They are only a few blocks from Lake Baldwin with access via a bike lane. Customer service was great, definitely recommend them if your in the area!
I dont typically write reviews but I felt the need to leave one in order to share my experience with Elite Bikes and why I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Now mind you, Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to bikes and Im sure it was obvious to the mechanic, Brett. I took my bike in for a repair because the cables had rusted and were causing one of the brakes not to function. He told me it wouldnt be more than $40-45 but told me would call me in a few days with a formal quote. I waited almost THREE weeks for him to finally call me (granted, I know bicycle repair shops have probably been busier due to COVID-19, but still..). He gave me a quote of $336.52......7 times higher than the initial oral quote...$140 for labor alone. My bike is not even worth that much money, at that point I might as well buy a brand new one! I politely declined and asked him if I could come pick my bike up the following week since the shop is only open from 4-6pm on weekdays. He had the nerve to then tell me that my bike is taking up space in his shop and if I waited until the following weekend, Id be charged a storage fee. I ended up calling a few other bike shops in the Orlando/Kissimmee area and emailed the quote breakdown he gave me and I was told the repair should not be more than $50 and that this shop was ripping me off. COMPLETE RIP-OFF and borderline fraudulent. This man completely took advantage of the fact that I dont know much about bikes but Im intelligent enough to know when Im being ripped off. So if you choose to take your bike here for a repair, do your research on how much that particular repair should cost beforehand, or at least pretend like you know a thing or two about bikes or you risk being taken advantage of like I almost was! I politely told him that his price was outrageous and that I knew he was trying to rip me off when I picked my bike up and one of his responses was that he values his labor.....Please at the very least take any quotes he gives you with a grain of salt and call around to other bike shops in the area and ask them what they would charge you for the same repair if you value your hard earned money. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Elite road bikes is an excellent option for renting a bike and taking a tour. I called one day before I wanted the tour and they were able to book me for it. The bike was in excellent condition and they had every kind of pedal so you can take your cycling shoes and be able to use them with no problem.Brian was an excellent guide and made sure I had a pleasant tour. He arrived on time to pick me up and had everything ready to start. The route was very nice and we had the option to shorten or lengthen the ride during the tour which is good in case you are getting tired or want to get more miles.Overall I had a great experience with Elite Road bikes and would definitely go back to ride with them.
Just visited for the first time today with a broken shifter, and was promptly greeted by Brett he went above and beyond to help me fix my shifter!! Great customer service and friendly staff, So if any one is in the area definitely recommend go checking them out!
Seems like a used-car salesman kind of place. Would look elsewhere unless you know exactly how much everything should cost and confident enough to speak up and make sure you don’t get ripped off
We had our first bike ride with elite road bikes and I cant say good enough things about this company and Brian. Hes the nicest, friendliest person, and his love of biking shines through. We rented the 4 person bike (that looks like a golf cart) which was quite the workout!! Im excited to rent the other bikes, now that the weather has turned cooler.I highly recommend elite road bikes and look forward to using them in the future.
Ive rented bikes all over the country whenever I travel, and hands down Elite Bikes Orlando provided the nicest bike Ive ever rented. The Felt carbon frame came with a finely tuned Shimano 105 groupset, a brand new set of tires on carbon rims, and Brian and Brett set up the bike exactly to my fit. In short, I was able to enjoy 85 miles of smooth comfort and perfect December Orlando weather. Also, I really appreciated Brian and Brett working with me on some timing issues. Very cool. I HIGHLY recommend renting from these guys, especially considering their rates are the best in town. Terrific value.
Highly recommend this bike shop! We are avid bikers, visiting from out of state. Amazing customer service too! Well be back.
Bryan is very flexible with the bike rental. You can rent at this place with confidence that you are going to receive a personalized service with quality and care. Thanks Bryan! you Rock!
Brian went out of his way and ended up waiting 45 minutes for me to pick up a delivery bike. I couldnt believe the lengths he went to to get me the bike. Such a great business!
I rented a bike for the Florida 70.3 Ironman with Elite.Since the beginning, service was amazing!Brian not only asked me for the measures of my bike, so he could make the bike I was renting perfect, but also gave me several good pieces of advice. The bike was a new Specialized Tarmac with DI2, and in perfect shape! They brought the bike to me, allowing me to try it before leaving and also took it from the race venue.Great experience, great bike, great service!Totally recommended!
Great equipment! This place is professional with an excellent product line. Rented two mountain bikes for a nice ride. The bikes were in EXCELLENT CONDITION and the sales staff gave us great advice. My family will be returning soon!
Very friendly, fast and reasonably priced. Youve got all my bike business!!!! Thank you so much for the great service.
First of all, Brian is an awesome person. He is super knowledgeable and passionate about biking. He is a great ambassador for biking in Florida, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone interested. I will definitely be back in the future!
Great experience! The owner is awesome! We rented the 6 person bike for a birthday party & the kids loved it. Pricing is reasonable.
I had a terrific rental experience with Elite Road Bike rentals. They delivered a Specialized Tarmac to my hotel in a timely manner in the exact configuration that we discussed. The Tarmac was in great condition. Elite also mapped several routes for me as I was unfamiliar with the area and many Orlando roads can be unfriendly to cyclists. I highly recommend them and will rent from them again if I find myself in the Orlando area.
Terrific service and ride! Brian is patient and excellent guide. Had a most enjoyable 62 mile ride with plenty of climbing, amazing roads, beautiful scenery and great conversation. Would gladly go again.
Really friendly people and great pricing. We bought two bikes from them and we absolutely love the bikes. Got tired of buying a new Wal-Mart bike every 3 years and finally bought quality bikes. What a difference in the ride!
Brian turned up on time with a bike set up perfectly to the measurements I had provided. He was a great host and a pleasure to ride with and had no trouble setting the difficulty of the ride to suit my needs. Really worth the money both in terms of service and to avoid having to figure my own way through the freeway maze to find somewhere pleasant to ride.
Awesome bikes and company. Incredible value for the quality of bikes you can rent. If your in the area definitely check them out. Highly recommend them.
Fantastic Lake County tour! The rental was great and Brian was extremely knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommended.
Very friendly, personable! And quick service with reasonable prices.
Messed up trying my own bike repair, So I took it in and he fixed it quickly and at a great price. Well worth a visit if you need anything Bicycle.
Elite Road Bikes is an amazing company. I was visiting the Orlando area with my family over spring break. I was training for a 545 mile charity ride in June, but didn’t want to travel with my bike. One call to Brian and I was all set up. He arraigned for a great bike to be dropped off at the resort. Had everything I needed from a helmet down to water bottles. Brian even hooked me up with a couple of trails around Orlando that matched my training needs. If you’re in Orlando, you should definitely give Eite Road Bikes an all.
My bike was at my hotel when I arrived. It had a helmet, a water bottle, a combination lock and front and back lights. It was great for touring around Orlando and the UCF area. When I left to go home, I simply left the bike at the hotel and got on my flight. No hassle whatsoever and a great way to get more familiar with the sights and sounds around UCF.
Great service and bike. Brian is very flexible, helpful and accommodating.
Can’t recommend Brian & Elite Road Bike’s enough, if you are in Orlando and are a keen cyclist/triathlete. We rented, full carbon Specialised road bikes, which were in great condition and paid for a tour rather than using a pre-set Garmin. Brian even picked us up and took us to Lucky’s Lake Swim to tick the open water box, before we headed out on the country roads around Winter Garden. Time was taken to sort set-up of the bikes, pedals to fit our shoes and making sure he brought along any equipment we didn’t have with us. Drinks and great quality snacks were provided, as well as ice-cold drinks for the finish. This is clearly a well-run small business owned by people with passion for what they do!
Brian was an excellent tour guide and we had a really good road ride in Haines City south of Orlando. He picked me up at the Hilton Vacation Club near Seaworld and had the bike all set with my exact measurements from my Pinarello that I ride at home in Chicagoland. We rode rolling hills for 40 miles at 19 - 21 mph and really motored!! Refreshments and fuel were provided and the experience was exactly what I was looking for, my Disney experience on a bike!!
I was traveling to Orlando for a conference and wanted to squeeze in a ride with a friend. Elite Road Bike rentals has a great reputation locally so I went with them. Here are my thoughts:a) I thought their rates were highly reasonable. I paid $75 for a full day to have a Specialized Tarmac with Ultegra components. It was an incredible bike and thought this was a bargain. (They also have MTN, gravel, and hybrid bikes at different rates I believe.)b) For a reasonable rate (I forgot the exact amount) they will deliver and pick up your bike. He said he would deliver to my hotel 8:00 pm the night before. The plan was to put it in the luggage hold area but he called me and we did a hand-off (right on time at 8:00).c) What really pushed this over the edge were all the things Brian thought of. The bike had a seat pouch with an extra tube and CO2 cartridge, he brought a helmet (I had one so didnt need it), even though I brought my own pedals (I have PowerTap P1s that have their own cleats), he brought a pedal wrench just in case I forgot mine. Just really thoughtful.d) They have lots of options. For example, there are tons of pedal options (Look KEO, SPD, SpeedPlay, etc.), Garmin mount, a Garmin 820 (I think) for an extra $10/d, etc.e) I am a little finicky with fit as I have sorter legs and a longer torso than average and this can affect my knees. He was very accommodating at getting the bike set up to my specifications. I also have issues with saddles and he got me one that worked perfectly. I guess you could say that I am high maintenance on this front and he handled it all with a smile.f) Brian was just a really decent guy. We were talking about my favorite charity (World Bicycle Relief) and he was talking about how he and his partner were talking about supporting them and how its important to them to give back.So all in all, I had a superlative experience and plan to use them again when I visit Orlando.
Awesome time with Brian, highly recommended!
Quality bike, convenient and professional. Top score.
My dad has the best bike shop in Orlando!!!
