I cancelled the appointment with Safelite because they were late for the appointment. I need my windshield replacement asap so I immediately called Same day windshield company and the whole process from making a call to verify insurance to complete the new windshield replacement was just less than 3 hours!!! The lady I spoke on the phone was very nice and patience. The guy who came to replace the windshield was friendly and professional. Very happy with the service. Will recommend!

My technician showed up as expected and was calm, friendly, and very experienced. He explained what likely happened to my windshield while he worked and had the whole job finished like nothing had ever happened in less than or about 30 minutes. I went with this company based on the positive reviews. I will update my review depending on the response I receive tomorrow, if they return my call. I had my windshield replaced. After the tech left, I went to lock my vehicle and he had left the hood ajar. I couldnt figure it out until I turned my vehicle on and it identified the issue. He would have come back but I figured it out. This really wasnt the big deal. It was yesterday when I drove the vehicle for the first time and was on the highway and the molding that covers the side of the glass starting blowing off. I thought the windshield was coming off because of the noise - it scared the h*&^ out of me. I had to pull over on the side of a major highway. Then I had to drive very slowly to get off and get some tape to hold it to get home. I called the company and they said someone will contact me on Monday from warranty. It appears that the tech broke the tab that holds the molding in place. I would think he would have known about this, not sure. He told me how he was at expert level and had just done a vehicle like mine. I know things can happen, but why me?

The office staff was extremely cordial & knowledgeable. the tech called a couple times to keep me abreast of his ETA, & he was a total delight.

The weather stripping was broken and not replace, they used the broken stripping after replacing the windshield. I called customer service and they said I had to tell them it was broken in order for them to replace it (how was I to know that?)

My insurance company told me that I would have to pay a $50 deductible for windshield replacement. But when I called Same Day Windshield and told them what type coverage I have they told me it should be free and confirmed by contacting my insurancecompany. I filled out an online request form Sunday evening, and I was called the next morning, right at 8:00 a.m. I was quoted a very reasonable price, and thats the price I paid. They said they would call about an hour before they came out to fix it, and they did and showed up right on time. It was installed within an hour. Definitely want same day but whatever I understand the customer service rep is the reason it got 1 star she was super rude and short... so for this reason look up Weeks Brothers in Orange Park he will take care of you quickly and efficiently!!! First appointment, no call, no show. 2nd appointment, wrong windshield. 3rd appointment took over 3 hours, man had to borrow our tools. Ive never received a receipt although Ive requested numerous times. I left voice-mail with no return call.Not impressed. Dont recommend. They seem very unorganized.

The people who attended me on the phone were very attentive.I filed the complaint and between the insurance and the fact that they had the windshield of my car it took three days, it was not as their logo says, in a single day.The person who came to install my windshield was very helpful as well.On the other hand, it has been about three days since I installed my windshield and nobody has mentioned anything to me about the $ 100.00 dollars that they say in their promotion that they give back.

I highly recommend this company!! I called same day windshield about 9:30 am on a Saturday, they helped with the claim process with my insurance and said someone would be out in the afternoon. About two hours later a technician called and said the warehouse didnt have my glass in stock. No big deal!! They came early Monday morning and were done in under an hour. I dont remember my technicians name but he was polite, informative, professional, and fast. I definitely recommend this company if you need your windshield replaced!

I originally contacted Safelight.... they said it would cost me my $250 deductible.... I thought it was free with my full coverage.... so I called Same Day Windshield and the customer service lady called my insurance for me and got it done for FREE... then she gave me the link for a $100 rebate for using my insurance.... so not only did I get my windshield replaced but I got $100 cash!!!! The technician called me before he showed up and then came to my house and replaced it fast... overall this was a great experience... I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone!!!

I backed into my garage while it was halfway open.. shattering the back windshield. That happened Saturday and by Monday at 10am it was all fixed! I appreciate the customer service on a Saturday to schedule the appt, and them coming to my office to make things easy.

It took four days, the first technician lied about me cancelling the appointment on the first day. The next day someone came out with an already damaged windshield. The windshield in my truck was already removed and stayed that way in my garage all weekend. From Friday to Monday for Same Day Windshield to do the job. I was told not to wash my truck for f 5 days when I did wash away the small debris there were paint chip marks on the hood of my truck. I would not recommend this company!

They replaced the rear window on a Prius. They did not completely clean up all the pieces of the shattered safety glass from the floor of the garage or inside the car. Those tiny shrouds (stars) are very sharp and cut into your skin very easily.

Absolutely amazing. Best customer service I have had off any company. I phoned the up after being let down 3 times by a big national company. Explained I was using my insurance, they took my details then we had a 3 way conversation with my insurance company, myself and their agent. I was told the technician would be round the same day. I phoned at 1030 am and the job was done by 2pm. The technician phoned when he was 30 mins away, was very professional, clean and helpful with my windscreen stickers. Over all I’m extremely happy and would recommend these guys over any national company.

Same Day Windshields is a completely misleading name and a flat out lie from my experience and. Same day, how about I scheduled earlier this week for Saturday. Today is Saturday and I set aside a 5 hour window of time only to be called by the installer with the news that the seal was not ordered. At least its before 9am so my day was not completely ruined sitting and waiting for the call. Then I get a call from dispatch to reschedule my appointment saying that the seal was ordered but was not inspected upon receipt and was only inspected today. Seems like the installer and dispatcher need to get their stories straight. Still, its early in the morning on Saturday and SAME DAY Windshields cant pull their mistake together to get my windshield repaired today, so I get to wait until next Saturday driving with a badly cracked windshield because as I stated at the beginning of this review, same day was absolutely not my experience. More like Same MONTH Windshields.
