This place was great! It’s hard to find a good motorcycle shop in the greater Chicagoland area and this was the perfect fit. Charlie was great to work with, got me a good deal and did great work with my new handlebar and wheel replacements. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future bike work.

I have been waiting to receive my crankshaft before writing a review, but I havent even been able to get hold of the guy that deals with the cranks. Apparently theres only one guy that deals with the cranks and he only works about 3 days of the week. I sent this about 3 months ago and a couple of weeks ago I finally got a hold of the guy and he said it was finished and ready to ship. I called again a week after and one of the brothers said he was waiting for information from me to send it out, so I gave him my information and another week has gone by. Havent received anything. Called them and the guy is not in again... Doesnt answer his personal phone either. I wanted to wait until I received my crankshaft before writing a review because if the quality of work is good then I dont mind the poor communication or time. If I ever receive my parts, I will update my review accordingly. No point crying over spilled milk....Have a blessed day 🙏

Went to Cycles of Orland to get my wheel trued. Charlie was very helpful and have me a great deal and threw on my tube and tire while the wheel was there. Id definitely recommended them for any and all mechanic needs to my dirt bike friends

Just took my 2003 Crf150f here for a new rear suspension installation. Charlie and the Boys did a great job. Highly recommend for affordable quality repairs on motorcycles and atvs!

The owner Charlie is a scammer and liar. He had my sons 4 wheeler for 1 year claiming to have waited on a part from China. He’s very aggressive with his lies. His shop has a stray dog that looks like it’s rolled in oil. I literally watched him answer calls telling customers lies about his identity saying he was not in the shop. My sons bike never got fixed so he says and we negotiated a buy out. I believe he repaired my sons bike and sold it for more value. I will never refer or use this dirtbag ever again.

Great shop. The guys have alot of knowledge and prices are reasonable. They got my blaster running within a day and she purred really nice after!

This business is simply amazing! The best bike repair shop Ive ever been too. I brought my yz400f in hoping to get it to finally run and they got it done in a day. They adjusted the valves and put on the new carburetor I bought. The customer service was great. And the price was fantastic. I couldnt say there was a single con. The people are great! So thanks guys for helping me out!

Terrible to say the least. I sent a crank in for an exchange, sent me one back with good journals, but the primary drive gear was chewed up. Had to fix it by hand witch took over 3 hours.Then I notice they sent me the wrong bearings.He ordered them thru his cousins dealership in the area, saved me a few dollars but I had to mail him a money order. He did ship my package till he almost had the money order. Took at least a week longer than it should have. Now Im sitting here waiting on them to open and see how they are gonna handle this. I sent him pics of the crank where the damage was, he still hasnt responded about that.

First off. Maybe they sell few engines there or there. But got one off ebay. Install. Had it dyno tune and the motor weak. There guy on local gsxr team that hasnt shown up all year cause they have his bike for repairs. Month ok but whole summer. That insane. plus other reviews on here about engines not done right. Good luck. Maybe there good at dirt bikes but not major work

Got the job done but not properly. Always had screws missing and once I got my tire changed and my brake caliper fell off as I was riding because of missing screws and the price they would give you would always change real janky people but if you have no where.else to go test them out but double check they work before you leave

Charlie and Scott Jr. were great to deal with. They fixed my son’s ATV within a few hours from the day that I brought it in. The ATV had been out of service for 3 years and they got it back running in no time at a very reasonable price with great attitude and honesty. I found my new shop for any and all ATV services. I just want to thank Charlie and his staff for the phenomenal timing and quality of work that was done on my bike in an efficient manner. It was my first time I have a 600cc bike and I dropped it off I’m the morning and before 2:00pm I was picking my bike up. If I need any work this is where I’m going Period!!!

I went there with high hopes as I was recommended to this store by cycle gear. I went to get my tires changed and both tires were put on backwards l. I caught the rear tire right away and had it switched and I didnt notice the front until I got home. I called up and asked about getting the front tire switched because it was put on the wrong way as well. He said it couldnt have been because he installed it. Once I got back up there charlie was yelling in my face on how he didnt mess it up and that it was the previous shop who must have put the tire on backwards and also my fault for not marking the rim. He would not let me talk and explain how there is an arrow on the rim as well as the tire that marks the rotational direction. (Posted pictures of this) The worst part of this all was my rim when I got it back. The paint is all chiped and theres gouges around the rim. I brought my rims in all polished up since they are (were) in immaculate condition and now they look like they were curbed. Also got them back covered in grease like they dumped a whole tub of grease on them. I would not recommend at all.

Dont waste your time taking your bikes to these trash bags they lost my parts and left my skeleton frame with exposed wiring out in the rain after he initially accepted it then he didnt even try to work on it told me that it was too long and too costly and he did not feel like doing it

I took my vlx600 in for a leaky fork and they were prompt and professional getting it fixed and returned. The staff was friendly and the job was very affordable I highly recommend giving them a shout when you need regular maintenance or when that unexpected component failure happens.

I tried this place after referral from a neighbor. Charlie and his brother Scott worked on a 250cc Yongfu Scooter. They were able to identify problem and get the Scooter back on the road quickly and at a fair price. They also provide a pick up and deliver service with their driver Frank who is very friendly and easy to work with as well. I also like that fact they that were very patient with me and were able to answer all my questions I had regarding my scooter.

Where do I begin started out on the phone with these guys Charlie and Scott had great customer service finally sent my motor out to them and they did complete the job in a timely fashion. They return my rebuilt motor to me within a few weeks time back in 2019 went to break it in and followed all the break in procedures Charlie advised me on and the motor blew up before the 1k mile mark. I called them back and they were happy to take the motor back and take care of it for me so I pulled it and sent it out again this is where the headache begin as soon as the motor got there they said they would have it done in to weeks But they claim it was a issue in finding the right crank mind you sent them my rebuilt motor that had just blown up from them around Fourth of July weekend 2019 and didn’t receive it back until feb of 2020 as soon as I get it back in feb I install purchase new oil cooler and all new parts for my bike oem parts take the bike out in a 50 degree day so it’s cold out ride about 50 miles motor blows up again this tile blows a hole in my case I call them up they were glad to take it back again this is still feb I just received confirmation back for shipping back to me and it’s now aug of 2020 now I know it’s a lot of things that has happen a pandemic and all hit my motor is still not fixed so I have to eat the $2,100 I have spent with them and then the brothers Charlie and Scott become very unprofessional and wanted me to pay more money for something they never really fixed in the first place and just kept putting it off on me. All I have to say is please don’t spend your money with these guys your gonna take a loss in the in they say a 30 day warranty which they may honor but it is not quality work at all and the level of respect is not there nor communication skills I repeat please do not spend your money here beware your gonna lose in the end I wish I could give zero stars. Then owner goes back and make me seem like a liar with his response to my review 4 mos yea that’s how long it took them to send it back again first day the bike was out it blew up on a 50 degree days I say again to anyone reading this review do no business with them they are very unprofessional there is no communication and poor workmanship if you been in the business for 40 years we should have been able to come to a agreement or even Charlie give me a call in a timely fashion not months later and say hey man we can’t find cases it’s back ordered I’ll cut my loses on this one but best believe the complaint is in with bbb and really look at the engine reviews on here everyone says the same thing poor quality, no communication and poor work. These guys definitely screwed me out of $2,150 bucks but karma does come back around. Not a honest shop here by any means Charlie or Scott neither have a honest word coming out of there mouth. 8/18/20 Update received motor today trashed oil pan busted update to cycles r is the driver said it was loaded on the truck that way and they have photo of when it was loaded in there facility from your company that’s when it was out in your area I’m 8 hours away from you so it was t in my hands when they loaded and took the photo or anywhere in my area at least the freight company does there job crazy thing is how can you respond here to try to protect yourself but when I called you guys were so busy your about to dig a hole for your self keeping going I’ll release the shipping company email and photos for review

I paid Charlie on 4/17/2020 and it’s been almost two months and I still don’t have my rebuilt motor now Covid-19 does play a small factor in this but not like he’s portraying it to be I paid him $1,150 upfront for a rebuilt motor and when I call I feel like I’m getting the run around and he’s always busy when I call and the person who answers says they will have him call me back but that NEVER HAPPENS then he can find time to text me but here lately he hasn’t tried to call me let alone text me which texting a customer is unprofessional I bet he don’t text his other customers as much as he does me I feel like he puts me on the back burner cause I’m like 5-6 hours away

Havnt been to these guys yet, hopefully I get a chance and talk to someone, I have a Suzuki sv650 that I cant get started, I miss my bike lol, hopefully they can help, I hear a lot of mixed reviews, but like Charlie says, cant make everyone happy

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP AT ALL!!!!Scammers i called to get a quote on getting my starting clutch change I had the parts it was just labor 150$ well they take my bike they call me because I got the wrong parts okay fine They bring my bike with everything unbolted pieces hanging bringing everything on a box saying do not lose anything not professional at all bringing my bike in pieces bolts missing parts missing brand new clutch parts missing they said I had credit with them to call them and they will pick up my bike to get the service they do not gave me my money back, I been trying to reach them and no response straight voicemail and text to the guy that pick it up and no response.

This place is awesome brought my vtx there on a Thursday at 1pm needed new fork springs, clutch and overheating problem called me at 3pm on Friday its finished all problems gone, fastest service I have ever seen. They have a customer for life

Had my Harley Sportster repaired here. Charlie and his staff are honest, knowledgeable people. They provide quality work with very fair pricing. Service was also provided very quickly.

Dont trust this guy with your bike at all!! I went to get new tiers and gave him what he asked, and I found out that They broke my front wheel slider and put glue on it.

These guys have no idea what they’re doing. Had tires mounted and balanced, they left my exhaust hanging (bolt was sitting in the mount) and damaged rear caliper bolt and cotter pin. Called them back because they mounted my front tire backwards, was told to ride the bike back up there. Had two guys tell me “oh no don’t worry man it’s fine” when the arrow is clearly pointing the wrong way. I’ll take my business somewhere they actually take pride in their work. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, bunch of hacks that can’t fix a sandwich and can’t admit fault.

Made an appointment for a Monday that Monday got moved to Wednesday i called in before taking it and im now being told to bring it next Monday because theyre full till then

Worst shop and experience ever. It took them over 6 month to get my engine back and that was after a number of calls and threatening with legal matters. Well after getting back the engine had the local shop install the engine just to find out that they used a different year cylinder head, my bike was an 08 gsxr and they used an 04 gsxr head so the exhaust manifold are completely different called Charlie and was hanged up on and avoided. So finally found a shop that could modify my exhaust manifold which by the way because they are made from titanium are expensive and hard to find someone to weld that stuff. Finally put everything back together and the engine started right on up. During the break in period and 50 miles into it notice that there is water getting mixed in my oil. To everyone please stay away from this place. Charlie and his brother Scott hare a rip off and all they do it’s lie and steal from the public. I placed a complaint with the BBB and a small claim with the state. Also even the company that they use for transportation let me know that they are shady and give everyone the run around I was given a tracking number by Charlie that never existed and was told that when I called the trucking company.08/18. They really are ripping people off. Of course you had to deal with me for 2 years it took you that long to return my engine which it was not even done correct. I have everything documented and pictures to go with it. If I’m wrong why does your shop keeps getting complains and bad reviews. Sounds like you must be ripping other people off. Charlie is a crook and the whole shop sucks. If any future customers want to see all of the emails and pictures I will be glad to show them. Oh also from the trucking company they use.

Got my bike back extremely dirty and they stated that they only change valve stems if requested when installing new tires.They put the wrong oil in my bike.If you look at the replies on other reviews from the owner, its pretty clear that hes incapable of seeing things from anyones viewpoint other than his own.They didnt tell me they were cash only until after service was performed and owner was rude when he had to break a $100 bill. Do you want cash or not? This is the 21st century, get a card reader.I wont be back to find out what other corners they cut!

Charlie has worked on my 1978 sporty several times . He built the motor 12 years ago and always ran like a champ ! He has always been honest and given good advice and been fair with price . I dont hesitate on were to take my vintage chopper . HarleyCharlie is the man !

Had an engine rebuild, low on horsepower after dyno tune. Find out today why Im down 18 horse. Camshafts were not degreed correctly & not as stated. Valves were out of adjustment & had a loose cam cap bolt. Stated cams were degreed @105/107.5,,,, actually intake was 96. Poor workmanship, now going to cost me more. I had a sneaky feeling something wasnt right,,,,,, now I know. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me
