Its been years since I visited a Mrs Fields shop.Frequented one often when I worked in downtown Chicago. Found myself in the Orland Mall, saw the little shop and decided to stop by and recapture a bit of youth.Alas, its true what they say, you can never go back.As far as taste, theres just a hint of the old recipe I remembered and the chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamian and oatmeal cookies are much thinner now. The cookies were so undercooked that they turned into a mound of dough inside the bag by the time my son and I made it to our car.Disappointed to say the least.

We ordered a large cookie for my sons bday party-we went to pick it up and the girls says oh, I didnt know we had any orders today, our baker didnt even come in. How terrible and irresponsible! Luckily, I was able to go upstairs in the mall to Nestlé to get one made in an hour....I hope it will be good. Mrs. Fields has lost my business indefinitely!

I come here a lot... and I see they have new staff of great kids...cookies always stocked and fresh...and when you ask them to make you fresh cookies, they do it in a heartbeat!!!
