I contacted this dealer about a car i was interested in at about 11:30, and set an appointment for 1:30 the same day. I even expressed that i was about an hour away. They even knew i worked at a dealership. And when i got there, they told me the car was sold 20 minutes ago, after i drove 34 miles there. They then tried to sell me on other vehicles i was not interested in. Youre typical dealership bait and switch.

I bought a 2018 Jeep compass from these guys about 6 months ago and I’ve already had so many problems like leaking from the engine and the car actually shutting off while I’m driving it. I tried scheduling an appointment with them over the phone but the representative treated me like it was my fault and couldn’t get me in for weeks, even with the serious problems I’m dealing with. I understand purchasing a used car is a gamble to some degree but these people do NOT care about you once you leave the store.

I went to Bettenhausen Megastore and worked with a salesman by the name of Victor Fleifel. I looked at some of the vehicles that they had for sale. After I was done test driving the vehicles, I sat with Victor at his desk and we had a conversation. I explained to him that unfortunately, I was unable to make a purchase from him at that moment because I needed my wifes agreement on the purchase of the vehicle before I made it. He then spent the next 20 minutes trying to pressure and persuade me to purchase a vehicle from him in spite of me telling him repeatedly that I was unable to do so until I received my wifes agreement on the vehicle purchase. One comment he made was that if my wife got mad at me for making the vehicle purchase without her agreement and then left me for a month, then whats wrong with that? I get the vehicle that I want and a month without my wife. He sees nothing but positives in that situation. He even said that he sends his wife off to the country of Jordan every year, so that he can get a break away from her. Then the next day, he calls and leaves me a voice mail message to follow up with me about when I would be able to bring my wife into the dealership to check out the vehicle that I was interested in. He unfortunately, did not hang up his phone fully because, I then hear him make a comment to someone and I quote, Looking at five different vehicles, what a f**king dreamer. Now he claims that the comment was about a different customer and not me, but if he made that comment to a coworker about this other customer, what comments has he made about me and other customers that hes worked with who dont purchase a vehicle from him before? I really think that you should consider whether you want to do business with this man and dealership who makes disrespectful comments with profanity in them about their customers? I know that Im taking my business to a different dealership because I dont deserve to be treated this way; I hope that you make the same choice.

You would have to put money down to decrease a paymentReally?? Didnt I just tell you all that when I walked in the door?We will see what the end of the month brings???

Great customer service! Rubio was a great salesman during the whole process. I had bad experiences with previous dealer salesmen few days before because I looked young and thought I couldn’t afford the truck and felt disrespected the whole time until I had money on my hand. At this dealership, Rubio made me feel comfortable and helped me out with all the answers to my questions. Great salesman! Ask for him if you shop here!

I go there for my oil changes. I always get very prompt service. And their staff is very friendly. The waiting area is so-so. The chairs are a bit run down. But they have a TV and a Keurig. And there is usually cookies or some type of snack!

Jessica gave me great service but wasnt as helpful with repair price. 🙂

I bought a fiat 500 C pop here. Its been about 3 months, its running good. Came in for an oil change. Employees,very friendly and fast service.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!We worked with John Harstick. We told him upfront that we will trade in our vehicle and will make the deal if we can do it with NO money down. They put over 6 hard inquiries on my credit on the first day! We called John 3 times the same day and left him voicemails to call us back and stop messing up my credit score and we havent heard back from him at all. The next day he was off so I managed to only reach finance guy who obviously put another 5 inquiries on my account just to let me know they would need 3k down.We told upfront NO money down. This is ridiculous. Why 11 inquiries??? They dont know what they are doing! Thats not now you treat customers. I work for a dealership so I know how this process goes.I DO NOT recommend this place at all!

Not a fan of this location. Went in for a charger r/t. Somehow ended up looking at a jeep discovery or something like that. Also was late to work when they couldnt get me a trade in value on my 2019 civic ex and after asking for my keys back for 15 minutes they finally gave them back. Sales person was really nice though.

Not helpful at all. You spend a lot of money on car there and they can’t even replace a bad tire. Very disappointed with Jerome. They’re all fake to sell you a car to get your money and then afterwards treat you like garbage.

My boyfriend was looking for SUV or car because the car he had already broke down and it was time for a new one anyways we went to the dealership and Ryan help us out and wasnt rushing us at all and when we were ready we ask him all the questions we needed to and told us all these great things about the jeeps and my boyfriends wanted a jeep but didnt know which one and Ryan told us the great things about the jeeps and everything went fast everyone their was nice and friedly and I would mostly recommend my friends and family to go to this dealer ship and they had food and snacks we went on a weekend right after I got out of work honestly wish it was me getting a new car but will have to wait and I will for sure come back

I met with Craig Yineman last weekend and had one of the best car buying experiences. He was patient and championed for me even though I didnt have the best trade-in, the best credit or down payment. I walked out of Bettenhausen extremely happy, respected and felt that I genuinely got a great deal.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ive bought all of my cars from Bettenhausen Tinley and this was the first time Ive ever been to this location. I needed a lot of work done today and bought many parts and tires. They kept me entertained while I waited for my vehicle, offered me a shuttle service. I came in without an appointment and they were still extremely accommodating and finished quickly considering the amount of work that needed to be done. Next May I wont hesitate to buy my 124 Spider Abarth from this location!

Victor is disrespectful and doesn’t know how to do his job right.

I went in to look at a jeep. Im looking to trade in my civic for a jeep but the salesman told me that wouldnt be wise unless I was willing to put down at least 8 thousand to cover negative equity. He basically told me there was no reason for him to show me Jeeps. So, I took it with a grain of salt and left. Ive halted my car search since Im determined to get a jeep and pay as less for this already crazy expensive vehicle as possible. Word of advice? DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER! They have called me, and emailed me, texted me EVERY SINGLE DAY since my visit. With no response, they still do it. Its so annoying and if youre not going to be able to sell me the car I want then stop calling me.

If you are reading this I assume you are looking to purchase a vehicle- Do Not Shop here. Collectively the worst customer service I’ve see in all my years of buying cars. Not to mention the lemon they sold me. Car had tons of issues from the moment I drove it off the lot. Not helpful in the least. They don’t care about you. Go to World Kia Joliet.
