Sales only. I was searching for a new vehicle and submitted a request online. Within minutes I had a response with available options. They were very friendly and courteous and not pushy at all. They tried their best to find what i was looking for, but unfortunately the vehicle I wanted was at another dealership so I didnt purchase from Joe Rizza. However, I highly recommend them based on my shopping experience.
Scott in the service department was very professional, helpful and friendly. He helped my daughter’s service experience painless. Service time was cut in half from what was initially expected.
Very easy and painless experience at Joe Rizza. Very friendly staff. From the moment I stepped out of my old car Cliff greeted me and my girlfriend. He helped us all the way through and was by far the nicest salesman I have ever met. He made sure I was comfortable and happy. I was hesitant about getting a new car but the people at Joe Rizza made my experience very nice and smooth! Id recommend them to anyone!
Sarah set the bar across the board for a perfect customer experience. If all Ford dealerships had 5 Sarah’s, they would all run on optimum performance. From the moment I reached out with a brief inquiry, she was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. It could not have been more seamless and made the process very pleasant. This is not to take away from other sales people, but to stress the amount of trust I would encourage everyone to put into Sarah. She is the best! She was amazing and makes the process really smooth. She went above and beyond for me (and no doubt has and will for future customers) and she tries to help as much as possible. I will be back for sure for a second vehicle when needed!
Will never go here again. Wanted to charge me $200 to take off 4 lug locks. What a joke, took them off my self in 15 minutes. And also was told on the phone that I should have my back up camera looked at so I dont pay $4-500 for a new camera in case its a wiring issue, so I did. The result: paid them $180 just to tell me its broken and a new one is over $1,000.Zero help, zero service, huge bill. Thanks :)
If you have the option to go to a certified collision center avoid this one. Customer service was horrible and they treated us like we were garbage. We were getting updates that the car was ready however they delayed this SEVERAL times and we didnt get our car until nearly 3 months later. Not only that but they left the car filthy and told us to get it detailed and bring back the receipt to get reimbursed. Dont plan on ever bringing this car back here, especially since theres still issues with the car. Need to take it to another collision center since they didnt know how to do it right the first time.
I have 2019 F-150 Harley Davidson Edition 2 weeks ago i had check engine light i bring it to Joe Rizza dealership to fix it and i have warranty on it so after 3 days they called me and tell me your truck it’s fixed and ready the problem was the spark plugs and wires, i took my truck and I drove it next day the check engine light show up again i took it to other ford dealership and they called me 2 days later and told me joe Rizza dealership didn’t fix your truck they mess up your truck and they didn’t changed the parts you need with new parts they keep the same damage parts and they put silicone on it and i got report and pictures for that. . .they mess up with truck worth 100k. . . my recommendation DONT fix your car in this dealership they should fix toy cars for kids
Traveled from MN to purchase. The car was as clean as described, the salesmen was great and best of all no extra dealer fees like the others were charging
Purchased a CPO Lincoln Aviator 550 miles from my home sight unseen and felt protected by the information provided and disclosed. Very fair price on purchase and trade in. Also a very smooth process on trade in. Dealership run very professionally and sorry I dont live close enough to use for service
Failed to meet the low expectations we already have for most dealerships.I live in NC and tried to purchase a vehicle, got a lot of run around and promises that they would call back. I filled out a credit application and again more promises that they were working on it. A week later I asked for an update and was advised that there is a deal pending for the vehicle I inquired about.Go anywhere else and you’ll receive better customer service.
Great service from start to finish. Gary and Brandy were a great team that made the purchase of my new vehicle easy! Highly recommend Joe Rizza and team for your next car purchase!
Phillip and then staff at Joe rizza Ford were extremely helpful and understanding which made my dread of car shopping painless and even enjoyable.
A great dealership to work with and they are great – they people know how to treat people and I love the car purchased.Do Not go away where else….buy here!
Very positive transaction. Have been a customer for 30 years and have never been disappointed with their service.
We got an offer from TrueCar on an F150, made an appointment to see it, and flew to Chicago 3 days later to buy it. They would not honor the offer when we got there even though the offer was valid until the next day. They claimed there was an issue with the price being updated on the website. We were so shocked they wouldn’t make things right and honor the offer. It was a very disappointing experience!
Have a recall on my truck. ordered for an appointment and forgot to put in vin number. Received a call from ford service and said they need vin number to see what parts they need to order. I apologized sent them the vin number and the girl said thanks nothing else. I asked after a couple of days if they put in my order and when i will be scheduled for my appointment. She said she doesnt know the parts just come in when they come in. I said well that doesnt seem right she said thats how its been with all that has been going on in the world. I called a few weeks later and asked if my parts have come in or there is anyways I can get an update she immediately just said i dont know it can sometimes take a long time. I said do you have any kind of time frame? I was told again no idea they will just come when they come? Seriously? Who tells a customer that??? How is that ok? How do you not know when a recall part or any part for that fact is coming in??? I feel like if I was paying for this part it would be there within a day and I would be being sent the bill immediately. I have had nothing but issues with this place. Like previous people have said I feel once they have your money or they have to pay for it then your lost in the mix and get the run around. Not professional at all.
Bought a 2006 Mustang GT from them about a year ago. Car is amazing and have had 0 issues with it, the sale part of it was seamless and very easy. There are only two negatives I can think of that went on, but they arent huge things. The first is when negotiating price, they said they would come down $2k, but in turn they would put my trade down $2k as well. But they ended up coming down $1k from price without lowering my trade, so no biggie. They were also marketing this specific one as a Roush Stage 2, which would increase the value, however Roush stage 2 only has interior and exterior cosmetics done to it, which this had neither. All this one had was a Roush Supercharger and Roush badges that someone must have put on themselves, because the Supercharger is only in Stage 3, but for stage 3 you need to have the Stage 2 as well. Still was a price I was willing to pay for what it had and that current market, just a little weird they were marketing it as a Roush Stage 2 when it wasnt. Overall a good experience though as to why I gave 4 stars.
The buying process was fantastic. I was never treated this great by the entire sales team from statt to finish. The general manager has gone beyond the norm in hiring his sales team. The sales team actually covered every possible option on the vehicle I purchased. Thanks again to Rizza Ford for there exceptional job in making the customer number one!!
Do not deal with these snakes. Bought a car from them in 2015 and got a bad feeling from these grease balls back then. I refused to sign the arbitration agreement. They allowed me to forego signing the agreement after a lot of huffing and puffing on their end. Looking over my paperwork now I noticed they forged my signature on the arbitration agreement! Clearly not my signature on the paperwork. These people are snakes and will take advantage of you.
Drove from Michigan to look at a Lincoln Navigator. On the test drive the check engine light came on and it needed a big repair so we looked at another vehicle. We ended up buying a 2015 suburban from them. It had some things wrong with it like the power running boards didn’t work and the center console was broken. We drove the vehicle 3.5 hrs back to Michigan and a week later there was a really loud noise in the front end. Had my mechanic look at it and to find both front electric controlled struts bad on the front. The cost to repair was $2,500. I instantly called the dealership and was transferred 2-3 times and talked to a manager that wouldn’t give me his last name. He did assure me that someone would call me back and it has been 4 days now. I have called 3 more times to just be given the run around. *** please do not buy from this dealer *****. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. All they care about is the initial sale and once the vehicle is sold they could care less. I’ve worked in the dealership business for years and couldn’t dream of treating people this way. Well they ripped me off I just hope this review will help so that it won’t happen to anyone else.Worst buying experience I’ve ever had. Steer clear they will rip you off.Nate Williams
If you go to get your vehicle serviced ask for Nikolas Aggelopoulos. He will actually answer all your questions and make sure you are satisfied with your visit. It was nice to actually get all my questions answered instead of being rushed out of there for the next customer.
It was fine. There prices and customer service was great
Sarah and Bruno were amazing. Great laid back atmosphere. Will buy future cars there.
Would not recommend at all. They fool you at first.
I recently purchased a pre-owned Ford Edge from Joe Rizza Ford and was well taken care of by Sarah Vargas. She was beyond accommodating and made the process super turnkey (considering we were located in downtown Chicago and the Covid pandemic).
No hassle, great customer service! Pete was efficient and helpful and provided great options.
Bill Kassanitz was very helpful in acquiring a great deal for me on the SUV I bought and also getting the problem with the key resolved.
Wanted to charge me 180 dollars to diagnose a recall item for a car that’s under full factory warranty . Went to a different dealer and it was free of charge .
Brand new explorer needs to go in for Trans issues. 5th time in the shop. Made an appt a month in advance for a loaner to get a call 4 days before the appt for no loaner cars available that I would need to rent a vehicle. Why not tell me that when I made the appt a month ago? Terrible experience I’d recommend elsewhere.
I bought a 2017 Cadillac xt5 there about 5 weeks ago. The purchasing experience was fine but I had to call for them to send me the title after my 30 day drive away tag expired. It arrived next day mail a couple days later. I’m still waiting for a return call about the windshield they are supposed to be replacing through a local glass company. I have called the sales person and also talked to a manager and still nothing has been set up with me for replacement. It seems like they don’t care since they already got their money. Definitely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them.
Scott was very attentive to the situation and had it resolved in a timely manner.
Just bought a Ford explore from here. Amazing experience with Alexis as our salesman. Not pushy, but so informative, accommodating, and organized. My young boys even enjoyed the full process.
I just love the employees at Joe Rizza Ford. I’ve been coming here for years, and I always have questions which I get answers to quickly. This time I was in for service just an oil change, wiper blades And advice on tires. Iky was great on answering all my questions and getting everything done for me. Thank you
The best of the best every star possible they have the experience and the knowledge. Wow what a great staff this is the place to buy a vehicle from !!!! What a awesome experience!!!
Fantastic dealership with great staff and options. Would happily buy another vehicle there.
The team at Joe RIzza Ford of Orland Park was great! My wife was so excited when she got to the dealership and saw her little Fiat 500 Abarth there waiting. It was the color she wanted, plus that little turbo for some fun I may have in it. We bought the car on Christmas Eve and the team there took great care of us and had us in and out of there in almost no time. The team there was not pushy, unlike many other dealerships, and always checked on us to make sure that we were comfortable or if we had any questions. This was my wifes first car buying purchase where the car was for her. The team there was very attentive to all the questions and concerns that she had, and she not only left with the car she wanted but piece of mind on the purchase. I would definitely recommend Joe Rizza Ford of Orland Park again for any car purchase.
I took my car in for service, they told me I needed spark plugs and coolant flush, well I changed my spark plugs to find, they left a hose off blowing debris all over my engine for months. They’ve really lost my trust smh.
The Team at Rizza is always amazing, honest, and efficient. I buy our company trucks from them and would not go anywhere else.
Recently purchased a used Lincoln from Jim. I could not be more pleased with him. He was super friendly, helpful, and patient. I feel I got a very good deal on my purchase between the vehicle price and my trade in value and wouldnt hesitate to return.
Wow. Lost for words on how well i was taken care of at Joe Rizza Ford Lincoln. I took my 2019 Kia Forte in to be estimated for repair after having serious damage done to the front end. Bob Driggers gave a quick and extremely INEXPENSIVE appraisal of my vehicle. Not only was the vehicle fixed in a timely manner but it looks as if nothing ever happened! I looked around for months trying to find a body shop to help me, I’m so glad I decided to give my trust to Bob Driggers and Joe Rizza! When it’s time I will absolutely be buying my next vehicle at Joe Rizza Ford and Lincoln. Thank you guys so much!
Awesome customer service in and out quickly.
Ive seen Joe Rizza commercials thru out my child hood and into my aldult life; never having experienced the loyalty and professionalism described. I month ago i got my chance, I had the pleasure of working with sales consultant Alexis Salas who made my truck buying experience seamless. Mr. Salas made sure i was completely satisfied after the ink dried by follow up phone calls and keeping a promise he made to me. These are rare traits in your most veteran sales consultants let alone a young guy like Alexis. Thank you and i will highly recommend Joe Rizza and Alexix Salas to my friends!
First time ever going into a big dealership and had the pleasure of meeting Alexis Salas, who took very good care of my family and I. Great personality and super nice! Thanks to him I was able to get my Ford Explorer🥰 Thanks Alexis!! 100% recommend him!
Long wait to just get checked in . Mr.Boelt then started to help me then disappeared for 10 minutes. Workers in back look like theyre dead from heat and the wash was terrible
Very helpful. Stayed in the payment amount I wanted and Dimitri was wonderful!!
Our entire fleet is made up of Ford Transits. We’ve been lucky to have a great outcome with every Ford Transit we purchase. Of course, whenever we need a new Ford Transit, we head on over to Joe Rizza Ford for a new work van. Joe Rizza Ford always has the BEST deals in the Chicagoland Area. The staff is extremely welcoming and know that our time is valuable. Thank You for always taking care of the Kevin Szabo Jr Plumbing family!!!
I set up an appointment to view a vehicle in which I had to drive an hour to get to. The online sales rep called before I left out to inform me that they had just sold the vehicle I was coming in to see, which I appreciated. The online sales rep asked me to still come in as they got another vehicle just like it with a few less miles. I inquired about the price and was told that they would work with me on the price since the original vehicle was lower. I came in spoke with Gerard who was nice and expressed exactly what I wanted down to purchasing price and financing. I expressed that I didn’t want my credit pulled more than once. Gerard told me it wouldn’t be. They pulled it twice and I had to tell the to stop and not to pull it again. Bill K stated that they had to pull it more than once which I’m not sure why because they went with the first company that my credit was pulled for. I also had my own financing through my credit union and they were only to be pulling my credit once just in case this feel through. Then they sell me a car which supposedly had an inspection on it but my alternator failed 3 weeks later. Sounds like an existing issue to me. They also tried to talk me into paying $800 over market value for the vehicle in which I had already did my research on. I know most car dealerships are crooks but don’t let these people knowingly rip you off.
Was looking for a great vehicle . I called my friend for along time Mr Mark Dazzo the best financial guy in the business always get a great deal . He is someone you can trust. He hooked me up with Sarah Vargas for my 2nd vehicle I traded in. She is a wonderful sales woman. She took care of my sales needs and I appreciate all the follow up calls. I want to let yous know thank you for great service. And Jessie the service writer awesome guy . Thank you all very much. MIKE THE BIGFELLA LEAL 🇮🇹
I cannot begin to express how helpful and kind the entire staff is at this dealership. Sarah Vargas is the most professional and personable sales member I have ever encountered I highly recommend you ask for her personally. She is patient an excellent at explaining details even to those of us who know little about cars. The finance manager Bob was great at explaining everything and found me excellent options for financing. Lastly the guys in the back who washed and prepped my car were so kind and positive. Overall I cannot recommend this dealership enough. I would give more stars if I could!
UPDATE:After I posted the review, a lady from the dealer called me to apologize what happened to me and reimbursed me my correction fee matching up to 100 bucks for my labor. So they DO care about how their customers review them, but why dont they try to make themselves a good dealer before their customers feel bad about them?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original review:I would give 0 star if I could. I bought a car from this dealer in Dec 2020. I really regretted buying a car from them. They didnt care you as a customer but your money. I felt I was ignored when I walked into the door, no greeting, nobody cared about me. After looking at the car twice, I bought the car, but felt bad right after paying. I shouldve tested drive for a second time, then I wouldnt buy it for sure. I drove back home after payment and the salesman (Temo Velazquez) drove the car to my address later. I signed all paperwork in the car without ceiling lights on, I didnt pay too much attention to my name on paperwork that they spelt incorrectly (Lessons learnt). I noticed the misspelling of my name on title transfer and registration applications (But my name was correct on the initial payment document, so the finance messed it up) right after Temo left and called him to correct my name for title and registration. He said he would let the finance manager know and correct it.I drove back for powertrain inspection as I heard some noise, during which I asked for a copy of transaction. I noticed my name was still misspelt on it, but the finance manager (Bob Burke I believe) said he corrected in the system. The noise was from the tires and gone after I changed four tires. Now I cross my fingers not to have any problems on the car.I called them after two weeks, one month, and two months asking why I havent received my title, the finance manager said it would take 90 days due to the Covid, Ok, lets wait for 3 months. I felt my name was not corrected, so I called the Secretary of State around 3 months, they said my name was misspelt. GOOD JOB, BOB BURKE and ROOSEVELT STURKEY, you guys were so INCOMPETENT in your position that you couldnt do one thing right!!!!!!!!!!! Or maybe you didnt care your customers at all but their money or you intentionally wanted to give me more troubles.Eventually, I received my title in my mail box with wrong name. I called Temo and Roosevelt Sturkey and left voice messages many times, Temo said he told the finance manager to correct it, so he kicked the fault to the finance. Well, Roosevelt and Bob never returned my calls to solve the issue. Now I filed a correction application and paid $53, because I believe I could save more energy to do my important things rather than beg them correct it to save 50 bucks like a beggar.I am seriously telling you all not thinking about buying a car from them. Ive rarely given such low star review (read my google reviews). BE AWARE of this dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid them like plague!!!!!!!!!!ROOSEVELT and BOB, you didnt care my experience, I dont care you either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarah Vargas provided me excellent customer service and was helpful with my purchase. She listened carefully and worked towards the deal that was fair for both parties. Thanks, Sarah for your amazing service.
It was a great, but time summing ordeal. But my salesman Demetrius is the best . I love Joe Rizza!.
Was looking to purchase a used 2013 Infiniti M56X there they got for $15,800. I was ready to come in and purchase it with a blank check and my very nice trade (Infiniti M37X). Please beware that this car does have catalytic converter codes and needs both converters replaced...$3500-4000 repair because of the labor 16hrs to do. Even so I was still ready to make an offer of $14k out the door. They would not budge and said the car is being sold as is. Keep in mind these cars in great condition with those miles (130k) go for $14-15k. Not only are they overcharging if the car is perfect condition wise but they still want over retail and the car has major converter issues. This is the first time I have ever seen a dealership refuse to fix a used car on the lot and also refuse to provide a discount. Stay away from them!
Could not have been more pleased - professional, courteous, friendly Team - everyone we met treated us so well and were always available and willing to answer all of our questions and make our overall experience at the dealership so enjoyable - and the dealership itself was such an impressive facility.
John Runia is the best car salesman Ive ever dealt with!! Definately a person you want to have when you stress about the buying process.
Great experience, knowledgeable sales staff, second purchase at the dealership and will return again.
A very smooth buying experience! Will recommend to my friends.
If I could do a lower rating I would. I saw a new truck listed on auto trader for 36444 I made an appointment (contacted through autotrader sight which lists the stock # and price listed in inquiries)to look at it and confirmed availability and price through phone and text and email. After looking over truck I said lets do paperwork. I didnt ask for a lower price I thought it was a fair deal. I was then told that listing was a mistake and that the list price was over 2000 more. I showed the listing with the price and the email correspondence. I was told they couldnt honor price. I left without a truck. If they werent going to honor price they should have told me instead of fishing me in. Ive been in business 30 years I cant imagine treating a customer that way. I bought a truck there in 2017. I hate to leave a bad review but I am disappointed and would suggest going elsewhere. Plenty of other dealers out there.
Up until today everything was fine my saleswoman promised me to email me information about a second key and the key code, to which she has not follow up with and Im a stickler about follow up, it makes me feel as though once she got my money she didnt need to talk to me or want to talk to me theyre after!!!
Went In 30 minutes before closing alexis Salas greeted me and helped me out no problem even stayed til midnight to get everything set. Very friendly and very helpful. Smooth transition. Thanks 👍
Bobby from the collision center was awesome! Have nothing but good things to say about him. Thank you!!
I took my truck for car accident that I had thought they were supposed to paint and fix to the wheel and the front bumper and the side and it took them about three weeks to do which I understand because everything that’s going on but when I received it the door was Unaligned.(after taking it back 2 times they fixed the door)the wheels were unbalanced and when I brought it up to them they told me I had to pay extra for that. After my insurance paid them out.to top it off the rims where damage completely and I have proof pictures of how they look before the accident because I submitted some pictures for the insurance so and it showed all the rims and they still didn’t fix my rims they wanted me to pay for the repair and the guy on auto always seems that he had something better to do than tend to the costumer. Horrible service and when they bring your Vehicle the porters always complaining which is odd because being a vehicle is a porters job !!just horrible horrible experience If I was you I wouldn’t go there if you don’t want a headache. Working on filing a CSS complaint of how bad service was and about my rims .
Brought my explorer in for work from when I bought it. The work was horrible so when the sales was questioned about it. He got mad and started slamming customers car doors. Today I talked to Jesse in service about whats going on and why didnt he stay last night to make sure the car was done right. He cried hes on salary and need to leave. Get a new job if you dont like the one you have. I will be taking my car westfield ford for now on.
Brought my vehicle in for service for oil change and tire rotation wait time is long there busy thats good the problem is not everyone wearing mask people get in your car and drive it no mask or gloves. do they know what is going on? I would be careful going there. Maybe the state needs to come and check this place out.
Prompt and friendly service made every effort to place me in a vehicle within my budget every person within this business that I met were respectful which made it a pleasant experience.
Could not be happier. Special thanks to John Rizza & Steve Lillie for going above & beyond to make my first car buying experience amazing. If I could add more stars, I would.
I was told my trade in Jeep was worth $10K and it would be sold for about $12K which I thought was fair. Imagine my shock when my trade in was listed on their site for $20,500!!!! I’m not a wealthy person at all and could have very much used that money they took from me!!!!
After having such a great experience purchasing our car, it’s really upsetting the service I have received since and I can no longer say the same. When my car was delivered the next morning I noticed a chip in the front hood. I emailed and called Brandy several times and it took 2 weeks to even get a response. Then I was told to bring the car to get it repaired and when I showed up one of the managers from the body shop asked me who told me to come in?! Once I shared it was my sales persons, Brandy, he asked to see proof that she told me that. Which I personally felt was rude, almost Insinuating something and he was rude the way he treated me. Then come to find out I was sent an email that morning, when I already was there to not come in that day, after it took me 45min to an hr to drive out there with my toddler. Then the next week Brandy did come to pick up my car, she told me she was going to pick my car up around 9 and didn’t show up until 11:15.i understand that things happen but a phone call to communicate with me goes a long way, when I mentioned that to her she argued back with me. At that point I told her I wasn’t going to sit here and argue with her about what she told me. She told me she was going to have the car cleaned, and when it was returned, nothing was wiped down on the inside and their was water spots all over the outside. The chip that was supposed to be fixed, well honestly it looked terrible. It looked like someone took white paint and filled it in.This is a Brand new 2020 Edge. This car should be in perfect condition when it was delivered to me!! I Called and spoke to the manager Gary that following Monday and he told me that everything that happened was not acceptable and that he was going to set something up that week for someone to trade cars with me. It’s now been over 2 weeks and not one person has reached out to me.I find this so disheartening, I was so blown away with our initial experience, that everything since then makes me wonder. I feel like there has been no follow thru and wonder how much longer it’s going to take and if anything will be done at all.
Brought in my vehicle for a recall and a warranty item. No loaner or rental for the issue which is kind of a bummer. Had to bring my vehicle back in for the same issue to find the part was installed improperly (mistakes happen, no big deal). No accommodations for bringing my vehicle back for a dealer mistake. I have a dash cam installed in my car, I watched the video when I got home to find the technician revving and accelerating fast in the back lot of the dealership. Before the final test drive to test the new wheel bearing, he turns off the camera. 9 minutes of video missing and I have no idea what he is doing. Especially seeing what he was doing in the back lot, I’m pretty sure it was continuous joy riding. No need to turn off the camera in the first place. I buy a brand new Ford to have reliable transportation, to be inconvenienced without any vehicle, and have my car not treated correctly. I never do reviews, but this was an exception. The part is fixed, but will be taking it to another dealership to have it all checked out. Its unfortunate to have the trust lost, having seeing a place with great reviews and my work who brings our fleet of vehicles to this location.
There is so much I could say about this dealer and particularly Ford.Ive at least two trucks from this dealership and currently have another three trucks lease from other dealerships and Ive never had the problems Ive had as I do with Ford in this dealer.as a business owner and someone who puts in large miles into vehicles I recommend not purchasing any vehicle from this location or Ford.
Sarah Vargas was amazing at helping me with my purchase. I felt welcomed and educated in every aspect of the vehicle and sale.
I purchased a new Explorer from this dealership. Three weeks later, my car would not go out of park. While holding my four month old, I was told to call and have my car towed in - apparently my new car was leaking transmission fluid. They fixed it and reluctantly gave me a loaner car for the four days it took. Fast forward 5,000 miles later - my transmission had to be replaced. It took two weeks. Took several days to get a loaner vehicle. These people knew the 2020 Explorer was junk and sold it to me anyway. Shame on them. I bought the Explorer so we could have extra space on road trips with our baby - wish I would have kept my old car... that never left me stranded in January.I tried to contact the sales associate that sold me the vehicle and he did not return my calls.EDIT: I was offered a $100 gift card because of the poor service. Are you kidding? Thanks but I’d rather have the money I paid for the heap back. Sales manager Bill never called back, salesperson Alexis didn’t bother contacting me.
This is the one and only worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. I took my 20 year old daughter there Saturday to purchase a car in her name. Our salesman was Alex. We spent a couple of hours with him, test drove a very nice car and went back to his office to discuss financing. We were told that there were 3 families ahead of us to speak with the finance manager and the wait could be an hour to an hour and a half. So we wouldn’t have to wait, Alex promised us that he would call/ text my daughter at 9:00 Monday morning. He NEVER reached out to her, didn’t answer when she called and didn’t return her call. This is the worst customer service from a dealership ever. You don’t leave people hanging. He could have called her and said you can’t get a car in your name or you need a co-signer. Simple common curtesy! This dealership deserves a rating of 0.
The great customer service through the entire process of shopping and purchasing our car made it an exceptional experience.
The entire team was polite and considerate. They helped us quickly and efficiently.
THIS REVIEW FOLLOWS ERNIE IN REVIEW PART 3This leads me to the cherry on top and the most recent not to mention LAST interaction I will ever have at Rizza Ford. A week ago yesterday I was driving past and remembered hearing about a bunch of incentives that Lincoln has on the new Aviators so we decided to stop and check them out. The one salesman Luke who I generally bring all the people I know to with hopes he can make them happy with a Ford or Lincoln was there and was helpful with the test drives and going over the preliminary figures on the term and payment. Now, this is where it gets interesting! After we go over the numbers and I told both Luke and Gary that this vehicle will NOT be registered in Chicago and that it is going to be registered in a suburb, somehow the figures that Luke and I just went over became $100.00 plus more a month. With that said I knew what dealership had the one I wanted because Rizza didnt have the vehicle there and it was 6 oclock on a Saturday I figured that on Monday I would go and shop their price around. Well Rizza definitely did not disappoint in trying to pull BS! This being my fault once again yet this was the last time! I went to three different dealerships and all three came back to me with a $96.00 LESS a month payment!!! Yes, that is correct $96.00 less a month on the exact truck Rizza priced for me with all the same terms! That is what decades long friendship gets you at Joe Rizza Ford LIncoln. I went in the other dealerships knowing that Rizza was trying to F me once again but these other three dealerships wouldnt let that happen and never even seen me before! I called Gary out on it and he used every excuse in the book including them running the numbers under a city address and guess what, it still does not come out to being $96.00 more a month! I know they F people for a living and figure out any which way of doing it. The bottom line is no one begrudges another person to make money off a deal but to try and hit a home run to the tune of just shy of $4,800.00 off a new car sale is absolutely disgusting especially when the rotten sob sits right across from you with a smile talking about all the years of dealing with my pops and seeing me grow up, just a real piece of work! And just so you all understand EVERY SINGLE DEAL GOES THROUGH HIM TO BE SIGNED OFF ON unless its Monday in which hes off. How people like him sleep at night is beyound me. Go to Ogden Lincoln and talk to Matt the general manger or Bob in sales, I promise you wont have to check to see if they stole the gold out of your mouth when you leave nor will you feel like you have to take a bath in gasoline to wash all the scum off of yourself from dealing with them!PS: I keep documentation on EVERYTHING! That said if anyone would like picture, video, paperwork, or recordings to backup every word in this post I will be more than happy to furnish said information. These people are scummy and should not even have the benefit of dealing with the public who unknowingly trust them with their finacial investment in a vehicle.
Danny G. made our car buying experience a great one. We saw my vehicle on Saturday night, let him know that we’ll sleep on it and return Monday evening. Our arrival time was little later than what we initially told him, but I gave Danny updates and he was totally understanding. We were practically in and out of the dealership. Not sure if we’ll be in the market to buy another vehicle before we move out of state in 2 years, but I highly recommend Danny G. to everyone!
Best Rate, Service, and overall buying experience on Certified Used vehicle in Chicago and surrounding suburbs😃😁
Could not be more happier to have purchased a new Lincoln Nautilus from Joe Rizza Ford and Lincoln ! Both Joey Cio and Gary Precin were excellent to work with !... Ron D.
I was a man on a mission: I had been hunting for good deals on high-cargo capacity but fuel efficient vehicles, and had finally settled on a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I had looked at several and either didnt trust the dealer or found the vehicles sold already. When I saw my dream SUV at Joe Rizza, I knew it was going to be mine. No worries about the dealership, because Id had great experiences with Rizza dealers in the past. Nobody had gotten in front of me in buying. And I was ready to go.My salesperson, Jim Vertucci, is an old pro. He has a great attitude, a relaxed demeanor, and got the job done quickly. There were some mechanical concerns, and instead of hassling me, he reduced the price to offset what I would have to spend to correct the issues. All in all, a very good experience.
Do not use their service department or expect great service AFTER you buy your car. I recently took my 2019 Ford Expedition in because the window broke (yes, window on car with less than 10K miles cracked) and had to be replaced by a factory part. I was not given a proper guestimate of when the part would arrive and my SUV has been at the dealership for over a month. To add insult to injury, I was given a courtesy car (after two weeks without even an offer) of a small economy car. I have an big SUV for a reason so having a small car is not helpful. So if this is the type of service I received after spending money - I wont be a repeat customer.
Brought my truck in to the service department for a check engine light. They looked over my vehicle quickly and let me know what was wrong and did a wonderful job returned it in excellent running condition . I wouldnt go anywhere else for my needs, Even sales department is great i walk through the door and im being assisted and offering drinks on hot days what more could you ask for
Worst experience Ive ever had. For a company thats suppose to be there for you in this covid time.. joe rizza ford did the exact opposite. From this point on I will be very vocal about my experience with this company and try to persuade other people to shop any other dealership. Did I mention it was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER?
Had to take the car in for a safety recall.Ford says itll take an hour.Service manager at Joe Rizza says itll take an hour. The guy actually taking my keys oh, yeah. Thatll take, like, half a day.An hour and 10 minutes later I get a call that my car is done.Of course that was after my wife and toddler had to come pick me up.
Worst place to purchase any vehicle. They do not stand behind their cars. Untrustworthy and sneaky. They actually sold a car for $9,000.00 that doesnt work to my son who is a disabled veteran and he lost his job because of it. They wouldnt even meet him half way to help with the expense. It still sits in the driveway. Im ashamed of Pat Dazzo the manager who allowed this to happen. Do not buy a car from this dealership. You will be sorry!!! We have never been treated so poorly.
Luke Clarizio is a fantastic salesman! He went above and beyond for my family in finding me a “new to me” car. I highly recommend him for your next car purchase!
Brought in my used car I purchased from them for a quick service. I did not even need an oil change the only thing that needed to be done was they needed to turn off my warning lights because it was not done during my last oil change. I made an appointment for 10am and I did not receive my car back until 1 pm.... I do not appreciate you taking 3 hours of my day to turn off a light. Even if I needed a full oil change the fact that I would have had to wait longer than 3 hours is ridiculous.
I called ahead about a vehicle they had on their lot. I specifically asked if the car was available, and if there was anything I needed to bring to take a test drive. They assured me a license was the only requirement. After the 1.5 hour drive to take the car out for a spin, I showed up at the time I said I would come, only to be told that no test drive would be possible unless we agreed upon a price PRIOR to test driving (per the owner). WHAT?!? Who would agree upon a price for a car they havent ever driven?! When I mentioned that I had called earlier in the day and specifically mentioned the stock number of the car, and asked for any requirements to test drive, all I got was shrugging shoulders and sorry. Not once did they offer to speak to a manager, make another arrangement, or anything else. Just a sorry and watched me walk out the door to drive another 1.5 hours home without even taking out the car for a test drive.Save yourself the time. If they cant even do a test drive properly with a lead that came TO them, what else cant they do properly?Unfortunately, Nora, I will NOT contact you. I was prepared to make a real offer if the car checked out, but your dealership seems to feel it was appropriate to turn me away without regard to the time it took me to come TO YOU. Funny thing is, the Tesla dealership would let me take out their brand new 100k+ for a drive without even coming with me, and your dealership wont even let me take a car out thats half the value of that.Youve got it all wrong. And now you want to put a band-aid on it by making ME contact YOU again. Sorry, you had your chance.
I purchased my second Shelby a few months ago and both times I worked with Miles and Jim. Ive never had such an easy automobile transaction with any other dealer. I simply used the text dealer option from their website and got Miles on the other end and was able to work out a deal including a trade in within 15 minutes. I then worked with Jim on preparing the paperwork, delivery, and follow up. Both gentleman were very honest, straight to the point, and thorough with everything. They were a class act that I was not use to seeing in the industry. Their finance department also got me a better rate than I would have been able to get on my own. If you are looking for a dealer that makes the whole car buying experience easy and painless, I would recommend Joe Rizza Ford of Orland and more specifically Jim in sales and Miles in the internet department.
We have tried calling several times regarding a title on a vehicle and left MULTIPLE messages with the finance department. It has been 2 weeks of calling and not one person has contacted us. I spoke to a young man there about the situation and he was incredibly rude and again, NO call back. I understand things are high stress in the world given the circumstances but please teach your employees to provide a little respect and courtesy.
Thomas in service expedited a part I needed for my car that was on back order. We were going on a road trip needed the car back, of course at that same time frame, and Thomas made it happen!!! Thank you Thomas!
I bought a 2020 ford explorer and Alexis and john were very helpful they helped me to find the perfect car for myself and my family and bob was very funny and explained the warranties perfectly Thank you ford
No drop off options for after hours service
I had the greatest experience in working with Luke Clarizio and couldn’t be happier to be a ford customer! Luke made the process incredibly painless and a lot of fun! I can’t rave enough about how great of an experience I had. Luke was honest, patient, a great listener and more then helpful in getting me a great deal that I was comfortable paying. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to all!
Not a terribly long wait.Went in for a key fob and a key cut. Was quoted an hour and a half. Got there and they said 2 hours. Job was completed in an hour, a half hour earlier than originally expected.
George Kraft really makes car/truck purchases an enjoyable process. I have been using George for years! I recently introduced my partner to George. He ended up purchasing a 2019 F250 as additional plow vehicle. From early discussions thru delivery, George handled all the details without issue.George and his team at Rizza understand how to retain and grow client relationships by making the buying experience client centric.Thank you George Kraft and the team at Rizza!
They threaten to higher my rates if I didn’t come with the rest of my payment. I only owe them 100 dollars after giving them a 2400. Bunch of money hungry smucks.
Great customer service very polite great environment
No pressure sales here! My sales associate Jose was great, he was very informative and was able to work with me on getting a great price for my son’s first car. I will definitely come back!
