I really like this place. The employees shoot straight, are helpful, and the deals they send out are generally really good/varied. I’d strongly recommend them and getting on their email list if you buy much in the way of outdoor equipment.

I was in there for less than a couple minutes and I was already being helped! And they were very informative and willing to help me. They also followed up with me on how I was liking the store and what I was looking for. Very kind workers and a nice place to be. Very clean and organized.

My wife and I bought most of our backpacking set up here. (Including a tent, backpacks, and sleeping bags) Their prices are better than anywhere else we could find, and their customer service is also outstanding. The staff are knowledgeable & honest - theyll let you know what works and give recommendations to fit your budget.

I brought my snowboard for waxing and edge sharpening last Monday expecting to get it back on Wednesday. However, the tuning is not finished yet when I picked up so I brought it back to store again on Friday after 2 days skiing. The ski tech is really an expert removing all the rust on the edges and even gave me a free waxing due to the delay. My snowboard looks perfect now. Really good customer service and decent price, highly recommend for waxing and tuning!

They have a great selection. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We rented skis for the season for our little ones and then had great pricing and were very helpful in picking the right size and skill level, as well as explaining what to expect and what resorts and lessons would be beneficial. Even the owner was there and happy to jump in and talk with us. Definitely recommend this place!!

I went to get some things to be prepared to go to Zion in a couple weeks. The people working there were very helpful and knowledgeable! Its nice that its a small store so you can get more personalized help and recommendations. Great local place and I plan on going back soon!

I bought two pairs of skis and 3 ski bindings from here and every purchase, the staff gave me the best recommendations on what would be best for me. I love this place. ALWAYS really friendly and they have awesome stuff. The reason for this review is because I rented out a snowboard for my son on Saturday. I was supposed to return it on Monday but just forgot. I didnt bring it back until Thursday. I was totally ready to pay up for the mistake. The manager said no worries and didnt charge me anything. I hope Out and Back doesnt mind that I post this, I just felt very appreciated as a customer. Will spend lots of money there in the future.

Went in to get some gear for the upcoming Mt. Nebo hike. Found everything I needed from hiking hat to energy bars. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Felt no pressure to buy things that the staff recommended.

I have been going to Out N Back for years now because they are the best around. Their gear is top of the line and the only thing better are the employees. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable about outdoor adventure. Every year we get our ski rentals at Out N Back and have always received the best service. The ski and snowboard gear is great and the rentals are in great shape. Everyone who has ever helped us has been fantastic. I highly recommend them.

The staff is knowledgeable and very willing to help and make recommendations. They only carry quality products and stand behind them 100%. I had a sleeping bag zipper break in the middle of a backpacking trip, I brought it in and they traded it for a new one. They dont try to upsell you unless you really dont know what you want. They will ask questions and help you narrow down your options. I can not say enough good about this place.

Brought some used skis I purchased from a friend to have some dings and scratches repaired. The service was worthy of more than 5 stars, quick and done extremely well! Price was very reasonable. Their deals are great. They have some great products and they really know their outdoor gear. They just got a new computer system in the store, though, and were having some implementation pains, heads up. They should have them worked out in a week I would guess.

I LOVE Out N Back. I dont go here very often because they have so much great, high quality gear that I spend too much money when I do go. They occasionally dont have the exact item I go in to look for, but the staff are pretty responsive and helpful. I have had some interesting chats with them and appreciate that they hire people who match their customers - people who are hiking, backpacking and skiing so they can share their own personal opinions about gear they love. There is also a lot of thought and care put into the products they do stock and typically they have items to match every price point, without dropping to poor quality products. I have bought my hiking sack, my rain jacket, my camping tent, and quite a few other products here. They do also have some great sales when seasons are winding down or a new seasonal is about to kick-off, but the sale products sell fast so you do have to come on the right day!

Out n Back has always been great. Went in a couple days ago to get new bindings mounted on my skiis and they pushed to get it done for me the same day since I was planning to ski the next day. This store is trouble for my budget. It is clean, with good spacing and a good selection of gear. I always get good service within a few minutes of entering, and always leave with good information and good help, even if I havent purchased anything on that trip. This is one of my go-to locations for all my outdoor supplies needs.

Out n Back is INCREDIBLE!! There are so many good things to be said about this company! The staff is always friendly and knows what they are talking about. Literally 90% of the time I shop there I get something for free because they are so damn awesome. I bought a tent and they gave it to me for 50% off, water filter was 40$ off, sleeping pad and they gave me a free pillow. When I bought my backpack they gave me a free rain cover. I will always recommend people to shop there and I will always shop there. Even if I find something less expensive online I will go in because they always have great deals and sales on items! These guys sell really good gear, but they charge quite a bit for it. If you can get things on clearance or on sale its a deal. Otherwise maybe try to get gear directly from the original seller.One really great thing is that the staff knows what theyre talking about. Theyre outdoor savvy people and theyll let you know whats good and what isnt.

This is definitely the go-to shop for canyoneering gear in Utah County - if the whole state. Pretty good selection of camping and skiing gear as well.

I came here yesterday after a disappointing experience at the Black Diamond store in Salt Lake. I was looking for a high quality headlamp, and to learn a little more about climbing.When I walked in Out N Back there were two people ready to talk to me. One of them spoke to me for at least half hour and helped me understand climbing, specifically the gear needed and why it was needed. He then helped me pick out a head lamp that was suited for my needs.Overall, Ill come back because of the great help they gave me. Would recommend to anyone.

The store is awesome! They are small enough that I was not overwhelmed when I went in and the customer care was great. The employees werent smothering me like at other stores but at the same time I knew they could help me when needed. Ryan was the one that helped me and was right there when needed.

Such an awesome shop, the staff really goes above and beyond. I took my skis in to fix some core shots. The repair was so clean you could barely tell that it had been fixed. My bases look brand new! These guys will have my business for life. Go check them out!

Out N Back is a great local outdoors store. They are very much like a local REI. The employees are energetic and passionate about the outdoors and the equipment they sell. Great service, super friendly! Needed a heat mold for my snowboard boots. Was told it would be $15 OR just spend 15 in the store. I was happy to just pay 15 for their time, but they insisted I get something, so I could walk out w some product, so they helped me find a $20 pair of boarding socks, and knocked it down to $15.Thats what you get with these guys. Everything youd hope a small business to be. Will definitely return!

Great top-of-the-line gear. Personable and knowledgeable salespeople.They offer free classes on a regular basis.They have killer weekly deals, sometime on high-end gear. Sign up. Its worth it. If the deal is something you want, call and have them hold it for you, because it will be gone if wait to drive in.They also have some off-brand, lower-end stuff they offer at clearance prices, if youre into that sort of thing.Only negative is that parking is a little tight. But we outdoorsy folk can tolerate a little inconvenience, right?
