What an experience....where else can you wear a fashionable hat and enjoy a great cup of tea. My first time here and the Rendez-Vous tea was full of just the right flavors and the GiGis Afternoon tea for two was delightful. Recommend coming here and the inside seating is worth the reservation.

Comfortable and pleasant. I have hosted many get-togethers at Paris In A Cup and have enjoyed each one. The vanilla scone is my favorite, along with the clotted cream and lemon curd. My favorite sandwich is the croissant with chicken salad. Its perfect! Since the pandemic, the street in front of the shop has opened up so you can sit outside if youre more comfortable that way.

This is an upscale tea house. Think lunch with your will to do mother in law. The tea cups all match so not a cute eclectic type of shop just so you get the idea of the vibe. The food was very good delicious scones and sandwiches. They had run out of petit fours which I was disappointed with but overall it was really nice and I liked it.

This is a very charming Parisienne spot.My wife loves everything about France, Audrey Hepburn, the language, etc. So of course we had to stop in. We purchased a few treats and my wife asked the owner if she knew of anyone that could give our daughter French lessons, and she took the time and abliged without second thought.We talked for quite a while afterwards and the owner was super nice and polite!

Cute relaxing spot. I got the tea fir two. The petite patries were a lemon tart with fruit, chocloate tea cup, cheesecake, all miniature of course. The tea sandwiches were cucumber on a delicious spread like cream cheese, chicken salad on a croissant, turkey & cheese. Plenty of teas to choose from. You can also buy macaroons & chocolates. Parking is tough so come early for the free public parking.

Had a great time playing tea party with my dear friends. Food was good and the tea options are endless. Great place.

Not really sure where to start. Would give it a 0 star if I could. I came here with my friend after they told us they could accommodate us since we’re just a party of 2 and instead of relaxing and having a cute weekend meal, we got to deal with grumpy rude waiters and host. Definitely giving it a 0 for the treatment we got. Not only did we get ignored by the waiters but we also had to deal with a rude host. I’ve been to places all over the world and have not gotten this kind of treatment before. And honestly the $$ is a scam, you end up paying $70 for scones, cupcakes and tea. Not worth it in my opinion. Save your money and your dignity and go somewhere else. Definitely won’t go back again.

I have been here before good time food is wonderful but you do need reservations. Im happy that they survived the pandemic . A bit pricey but the experience is wonderful.

I have never written a bad review and trust me I really wanted to write a good one because I thought the place was cute. I was coming for my birthday with my close friend. We called ahead of time and were told to just come and we can be seated. We arrive and the front person is just grumpy. I get it life is hard man but its 11 AM on a weekend please bear with me as I simply tell you were a 2 people party and wed like a table. We spent 5 minutes just stating were 2 people and we had called earlier and were told thered be a table...I dont know why that was confusing. We end up sitting outside. The table that was bigger and arrived after us gets serviced first. After dealing with a grumpy person and being disregarded we simply stood up and left. $70 isnt a cheap amount to spend on scones and tea...the least I expect as a customer is to just get serviced decently without being ignored or dealing with grumpy people. Anyhow I wish the best to all the staff and I genuinely hope you get a better experience.

This place is amazing, the tea blends are first class i wasnt aware that they use Kusmi no wonder the flavors are impeccable! its a bit pricey but its worth every cent. EVERYONE should experience this place. My friend and i ordered the tea party for two and it was delicious! Servers were attentive and gracious excellent customer service.

Our favorite tea shop and we’ve been to MANY all over the world. We are not local, but happily make the drive to enjoy tea and lunch here. The scones are wonderfully flavored and perfectly baked (gluten free options too)! The sandwiches and soups are perfection. I love the selection of teas they have available and their willingness to be sure you enjoy the selections you’ve made. Our favorites from the menu are: Vanilla scone, baked potato soup, chicken salad sandwich and the Summer in Paris and Flavors of France teas. The customer service is of the highest quality pre-Covid and now. They also have a beautiful gift shop!

Didn’t know if I’d be down for this but went for my soon-to-be MIL’s Birthday in November. The ambiance is great... if I ever find myself in Paris, I’d hope for something like this. The staff is attentive and the food and tea are seriously and deliciously legit. I now want to go here just for the heck of it. It’s a gem in the Circle.

First time I came here was 2 years ago. And ever since then weve been coming every month for our girls day tea. The best tea spot hands down. The atmosphere, the ambience, the food, the people are all terrific. If i could give more stars i would. Everyone is always so great and Ive never left this place unsatisfied. I hope they remain in business. Even during outside dining, the experience was pleasant. We were seated in shade and was still provided great service. Thank you paris in a cup for giving us girls our tea time once a month. We always look forward to coming here.

My wife and I agree, Paris in a Cup is a quality tea house.Due to covid, we enjoyed their outdoor sunset tea service. We look forward to returning to experience an inside seating.Overall, its a reasonably priced tea service with the right blend of sweet and savory scones, sandwiches, and treats. You can skip the tea and opt for lunch or dinner specials, which well need to try in the near future.You have several selections of black, green, caf and decaf teas with the appropriate accoutrements to choose from in separate or combined table teapots.The entire staff were very accommodating and cater to folks with dietary restrictions such as vegans and gluten free.Looking forward to our return visit.

Reservations for 6. We had an absolute ball with Andrew as our host/server. We were seated outdoors for social distancing reasons, which added to the ambiance. My meal was The Louis (roast beef).

Such an out of this world experience! The atmosphere is just incredible. You truly feel transported to another place. Its a great little get away. There is also an amazing amount of tea options. Cant wait to return and bring more people to experience this with me.

This place is fabulous! I wasnt sure what to expect, but even if I did, my expectations were completely surpassed! Just, wow! Food was Super Super yummy! Chef completely out does him self! Everything and I mean everything is so tasty. The staff is super attentive. I was there for a bridal shower so the menu was already chosen, but the display is so beautifully presented you almost dont want to eat it because its so lovely. They have the cutest gifts in their front little store. Everyone there is so friendly! I highly recommend this place, you will love it, I know you will!

All staff seemed to have proper PPE available and properly utilized. Had a splendid tea time here yesterday! The interior decor is delightful. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was crowded but not too noisy when we got there at 2pm, but thinned out nicely around 3pm. My only downside comment is that the scones were dry. Other than that it was delicious! The teas are fabulous, there must have been 100 different teas listed to choose from! Amazing!! I had the LOriental, a blend if green tea and tropical fruits. I loved it!! The cuisine menu is also robust. There is both a teatime menu and lunch menu. Lots of options!! Great time and quite affordable! I highly recommend!!! We will be back!!!!

An absolutely delightful tea house. Great menu beyond the traditional tea offering. The very generous traditional tea menu item is 10 star and the portions will not leave you hungry in an hour. The dessert menu is exquisite and other menu options are terrific. The atmosphere is definitely Parisian inspired...light, bright and festive. Lots of pink and a gift shop to die for. Wonderful experience for a bridal shower or girlfriends luncheon.

Elegant and tasty! I took my friend to luncheon tea for her birthday. Another friend had told us about this place. We had the Tea for Two. It comes on a three-tiered service with scones, finger sandwiches, and dessert. A refillable pot of tea is included. What didnt look like very much food when it arrived turned out to be plenty - we were both quite full when we finished! I found the house tea (I forget which flavor) to taste mostly of black tea - the other flavors were very subtle. If you prefer a more highly-flavored tea, you might want to try one of the branded teas. Its not cheap, but its not a bad value for the meal, ambience, and experience. The place is small, so reservations are highly recommended.

I went with a group here...it was my 2nd time visiting. I loved the chicken sandwich on croissant and the baked potato soup. The others ordered the tea for two. Our server was very accommodating. I recommend this place.

The decor transports you to Paris where you enjoy tea, scones with cream and preserves, sandwiches, soup, salad, desserts, and more. Only ding is for the tea temperature and strength. This is my personal preference. My family is Scottish and we like our tea boiling and stronger. Overall though, our experience was wonderful. I would recommend this tea room to friends and family. You will enjoy it very much!

The interior of the tea was so perfectly matched to a Parisian experience, i left like i was in Paris having my favorite afternoon tea. The only down side here is parking but that is not there fault and cant be controlled. i just recommend giving yourself an extra 20 min to find parking upon arrival.

Been going to tea here for the past year and it is always wonderful! Their sandwiches are amazing and the soups are always great! Their tea is always good and plenty of different flavors to choose from! I love the tea for two! Its adorable and so perfect! =)

We finally got in for a reservation here, which is hard to get online. It was so worth it! The scones, sandwiches and tea were wonderful! The location is one of my favorites in Old Orange, and the cafe is beautiful. I cant wait to come back.

Very pretty inside and wait staff were spot on, however, the food was a bit of a let down. The scones had good flavour, but were very dry and crumbled to bits when spreading the jam and creme on them. (Afternoon) Tea bites (savouries/sweets) are usually small, but these were exagerrated, especially the desserts, and small quantity for what youre paying. The mini quiche tasted nice. The others savouries had barely a smear of filling in or on them. I would never have guessed what was inside if I hadnt been told. The sweets couldnt have been much bigger than the size of a quarter.It was also very noisy. I am a big fan of the custom of afternoon tea. Ive been to many tea rooms and whether or not someone us celebrating, its always a reserved atmosphere on the quiet side as it should be when taking tea.Unfortunately, for me, this isnt a place I would return to. I kind of felt taken advantage of.If you dont mind the drive, there are other places that you may enjoy more. Julian Tea & Cottage Arts (tiny, cute tea room in Julian), Shakespeares Corner Shoppe (authentic English in San Diego). They both are very generous with their offerings and reasonably priced.

Went here for late mothers day celebration and had a lovely time. The front half of the shop is a little bakery/shop and the back portion is the actual restaurant. I have no clue how the reservation system works since my sister made it but we made it for about a month in advance and it wasnt really busy so you probably dont need to make one too far away. The food was delicious, a bit pricey, but very good for a celebration like this. The entire place is decorated like France and you feel quite fancy while eating there. All of the employees were very nice and helped us out as much as we need and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and fun to talk to. Overall great atmosphere, food, people, and a shop to look at while theyre prepping your table. The only thing is that parking may be difficult to find during busy times, but other than that it was a great experience.

Lovely BFF afternoon tea served in a beautifully French-themed cafe, tables adorned with fresh flowers, sliver bowls containing sugar cubes, miniature sandwich boards with menu descriptions, and flutes of sparkling pink cider topped with a strawberry.Nicely arranged 3 tier spindle with assorted tea sandwiches and edible flowers made for a pretty presentation. Served with a choice of teas, topped off with chocolate-cherry scones, clotted cream and raspberry jam. Warm brownie trifles for dessert, making the overall meal delicious!

Very expensive for what you get. They price themselves as being upscale or fancy however they use paper napkins and cafeteria type cups. No real tea cups to be found. Food and service was just ok. Better tea shops around.

I always feel like Ive been transported to Paris when I enter this Tearoom. They have French music playing in the background along with French decor. The products they sell, candies and macaroons are from France too. They have extremely reasonably priced jewelry and elegant handbags.

My sister and I ordered the tea for 2 sampler as it was our first visit and we were able to try a sample of sandwiches and petit fours. We loved every bite and plan on coming back. We all had a good time enjoying the different flavors of tea and their finger sandwiches plus small tarts and petit fours. The tea for 2 sampler is the best because you can try several of their sandwiches and desserts and its served on a charming 3 tiered tray. The servers here are very good and helpful. Highly recommend this place for all adults.

Brought our daughter here for her birthday, the staff and ambience were 5 star. Yes, the portions are small, but this was expected. This is a tea room, not a buffet. First time here, I expect this to be a yearly birthday request.

The place is so cute and the service is great and the food is delicious. Make sure to make a reservation before you go and present the reservation code when you do. They have a wide selection of teas, desserts (would recommend the Crème Brulee) and proper food if you are hungry. So cute and the prices are great for what you get. Highly Recommended, will go back again!

This is the cutest little place ever! Nice place to come for high tea, you can be fancy or casual and still fit in. The menu has selections for all kinds of eaters you can even do the traditional tea platter service with mini cakes and sandwiches 🎂

A very pretty place for English tea. The interior is a bit loud when the room is full. I was told there are two seatings on Saturday. We went to the earlier one. We started at 1130 and ended about 1:30. The waitress, Brandi, was great. For my birthday, they gave me a sweet little cream cheese tart on a mini pedestal and a liitle Eiffel Tower keychain gift! The tea offerings were plentiful. The restaurants favorites are black teas mixed with fruity undertones. Theyre listed at the top of the tea menu. I didnt like my Cherry Blossom green tea, which was not very flavorful. The tea sandwiches are a good size, especially the croissant and the cucumber cream cheese. Scones are quite large and crumbly. There was a vanilla cream scone and two coconut scones on our tray for three guests. The restaurant offers two small glass containers with clotted cream ( like a sweetened stiff whipped cream) and a berry jam, for the scones. Edible flowers were on the cucumber sandwiches and on the mini cheesecakes. The menu also offers soup and salad for those who want more than the tea tray.

This place was a complete waste of time. The staff was not accommodating or polite and we felt that we were not welcome. A friend bought some expensive fresh from Paris newly imported treats to take home to her husband. I looked to see who the distributor was and found them online at Walmart among a zillion other places. We had to park a block-and-a-half away too.

Everything about this store is perfect. Walking in I thought it was just a novelty store but in the back there is actually a decent sized restaurant. They have an absurd amount of tea and I was told they are constantly bringing in new bags. There is a window display filled with yummy macaroons and rich bon-bons. All the merchandise is imported from France, so this is great place to stop by for your Parisian-loving friends. You also can rent out the space for private parties.

Noisy in the afternoon but the atmosphere is nice. Wasnt impressed with the French onion soup with the finger sandwiches were good. Little pricey for tea.
