As of 5/2/2021: The freestanding Gas/Diesel RV pumps/islands are open. I called ahead to make sure and was assured the pumps had re-opened. They look to be undergoing some construction in both parking lots, a majority of regular and Diesel pumps are fenced off for construction.We love the convenience of the RV islands and once construction is done, I’m sure it’ll be awesome.

Call to ask a question. Middle of me asking I get hung up on by some punk working the counter. I was asking if they had any food out because the last two places I stopped had nothing out. Ya we got pizza then proceeded to hang up. Absolutely rude. Midnight shift.Ill continue up the road and find something else.I did try to call back but the person wouldnt answer the call. Poor poor customer service. Deal with rude driving behavior all day just to think youd get some respect at a dang truck stop. Blows my mind.

Saw a roach near the hotdog section, they should do a better job of cleaning.

Shower was clean, but lacked hot water, the washers were dirty, the card reader didnt work, the dryers worked pretty gd, and that parking lot is way over due for a paving job.

I should have read the reviews before stopping. Like most RVers, we have a Good Sam membership so we get discount gas prices at Flying j/Pilot. So, we scheduled our stop for this Flying J. THERE IS CONSTRUCTION SO NO RV LANE. It’s hard to fault them for this inconvenience, but readers should Know that it is very difficult to get in and out of the pumps at this gas station.

**Big rig Gas RVers, special RV dumps & Fill up lanes are closed off & Fences up, No signs at road! Reg other gas pumps a lot broken, very slow,& fences so tight to turn around. RV parking has a lot of cars & trucks using it! Be aware,it is Adventurous stop rt now until renovations are done! Here on Mar 30 2021. Other Pilot gas on 73E -62 N across 10 was working ok.

Only 4 pumps available. No def after I gave 500$ in fuel, and under cooked pizza that is nasty raw dough. Gave it to the birds. This store has permanently lost my business

Seems to be a little beat up cosmetically but at least while I was here the main area and showers were cleanNot sure based on other reviews if that’s the norm thoughI’ve seen better and definitely worse and I’m not sure other than poor management as I’ve posted many times what the deal isThese showers are not free. Sure you get one after buying fuel or buying one for $12?Which would really piss me off if I actually took cash for a dirty showerAgain. These were pretty clean the two times I used them

Friendly staff and service. Bathrooms were gross but I suppose thats customers not location. Would be nice if they were checked more often though. 1 toilet had blood on it, another pee and a 3rd was clogged with seat covers shoved in and sticking out. At least 6 people complained. It was gross.

DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD AT THIS STORE OR DENNYS. I have had extra charges show up on my debit card several times from this location. Once was Dennys at 2 o’clock in the morning when I was across the state. Do not use any card at this location

The Flying J isnt bad, but as a former otr driver I just has the worst service ever at the Dennys. The eggs were not cooked right on the Grand Slam breakfast so it was sent back. It came back there were only eggs on the plate. The rest of the food never came back. This time the eggs had shells in it so it was sent back. I no longer wanted it. The manager would not even take it off the ticket because there was food missing off the plate. I told him it never made it back to the table the first time it was sent back. He finally took $5 off and told us to come back later.

Covid-19 is worse than ever and this location just let a giant tour bus of people all in to the store at once. Social distancing was impossible. This should have been controlled and entry should have been limited. The lines were 10-15 people deep with no space. Profit over people clearly on display.

Very clean lot. Plenty of places to park around 4pm. Cashiers very friendly & helpful & always smiling & greeting me as I enter. The showers were nice & clean with good water pressure. The restaurant was also very clean, fast & the cashiers very friendly too. Very pleased. Overall excellent experience! Thank you!

Fuel lanes are dirty bathroom are dirty. I wouldnt eat here.

For some reason I love truck stops they always have so much to look at. I was hungry so I got me two pieces of pizza. I would have to say it was cooked absolutely perfect. I have bad teeth so I cannot eat hard crust but this crust was absolutely perfect. If you are a truck driver this place has pretty much anything you could possibly need. Of course they have a lot for non truck drivers too.

Very nice and polite people. Clean showers and lots of parking space any time. I ask if possible to have vegetarian pizza and lady from the counter ask in the kitchen and they do form me as my request. Thank you . Other staff from Flying J shoud do this. Think that there is vegetarian as well. Thank you

Wrost custumer service ever! After a long day of work the least you spect is rood teenager witn no manners what so ever behind the counter when asking for a fuel receit.

When on the road I10 east or west bound. Flying J travel center can be a great stop. Lots of prepared food available plus all the items available at convention store, plus more. Easy on and easy off. Lots of parking for people traveling with campers, etc.

Okay paid for reserved parking and got a spot so close to the entrance another semi hit us where we were parked the damage is horrible we told the about that they should eliminate that parking spot and only got rude comments about how its our fault our parked semi got hit and they hold no responsibility

Convenient place to stop for a large variety of items....for as much business as they do Im usually in and out in a reasonable amount of time...I think its a decent place to stop...

Good breakfast at Dennys. Ate too much as it was very good. Been here before for breakfast, quick service and good food.

I love their fresh PJ sandwiches. The bread isnt hard like a brick as it is in little rock Arkansas. 1st time I ever tried this sandwich was here in orange Texas. I came back this week to try them again. They dont seem stale like some of the other places

It is not the same old Flying J from back in the day. The cleanliness is a far cry from their hay day. Still not bad, but not excellent.

It was very clean... a variety of hot foods along with a Dennys. Very nice crew ppl working there but this one cashier just would not smile or speak.

This place has everything, if your on a long trip and need a break or something to eat, this is the perfect spot. They have showers, reclining seats with big screen TVs, laundry mat, restaurant, and lots of games! Love this place!!!

Stopped for gas and pump stopped at every 5 cents. The hot chocolate was watered down. This stop didn’t work for us.

Have stopped in at this Flying J in Orange TX a many of times while waiting on a load to escort into Louisiana. The people who work there are very friendly. The establishment is always clean and well stocked with different brands of coffee. Always plenty of cold half & half, creamers, and sweet and low fully stocked. The sweet iced tea is always fresh and so is the pizza, and even the buffet. Restrooms are nice and clean. These people take pride in this place where they work. Dont let the negative comments ruin your day. Yall are doing a wonderful job.

Had a very good visit. Love the fact that they have separate bathrooms for the drivers and the public. In was able to brush my teeth without having weird looks 👀....

Really great showers. I was on deployment for FEMA disaster relief for 9 months between Houston and Beaumont. I lived in my truck never knowing what area I was going to be in the next day. Truck stops became my nightly living room. I utilized their services regularly. In general everyone was friendly and kept to them selves the driver lounge was comfortable and never over packed not even for the super bowl. I think there is 14 showers so the wait was usually instantaneously or not very long. They have dedicated attendants for cleaning and linens in the showers. I didnt sleep in the lot I have other areas for that which are much more private.

Great place to stop and fill up when were heading north off of I-10. They have a full-fledged restaurant, a heated rack in the convenience store, plenty of coffee and sodas to choose from in the Fountain area, and its a great place for truck drivers to stop being as well showers and such.

Although the loudest place Ive ever stayed at,it was safe and clean. RV spots are right in front and feel safe. Dennys was much better than the reviews I read. Donna was our waitress. She was great!

This was a very clean establishment. I wish I would have noted the cashiers name. She went above and beyond to try to help me locate an item that was listed on my app as a reward.

I stayed here on a bad night, the neighborhood had lost lights and the crew at this store was working hard to keep up with the demands. They were doing a great job!! Over all good place to stop

I am giving 3 stars because the truck stop as a whole is pretty nice. For the most part the employees are pleasant and helpful. We got winded in here for almost 24 hours. The morning we were leaving is when I had the problem. The so called manager is horrible. her name is Rachel and she does not need the title of manager. She lied to me about working there then she actually tried to get side ways with me when I called her out on it. The young man working behind the counter was the ONLY nice thing about this place that morning.

Awesome staff! Best pop in town. Hot showers. Fair amount of big rig parking, but fills up fast like all Texas truck stops. Towels are stinky ish however. Bring your own. There is also a Dennys on site.

Great supply of just about anything you need while traveling..clean showers..rest rooms..great selection hot and cold food ..snacks..drinks..etc..great gas prices..restuarant next door..great place to stretch legs while getting whats needed for the road

Dennys was nice. I was seated quickly for breakfast. The waitress was very nice. The restrooms were in need of a cleaning and there was a slight wait time for the showers.

Everything I could ever want in one place for my travel needs. Good coffee.

We had a really tough time leaving Houston, flat tires galore, we were trying to make it as far as we could and ended up at your truck stop. Dead tired we just needed a place to crash in our RV till morning, your security man that night made sure we were safe and had a good spot! These are the kind of actions that keep the world a better place, thank you so much!

Not bad. Standard J. Dennys, gal at the fuel desk was good, standard J munchies, showers were in decent order, lot didnt look too bad... nothing particularly exceptional but not a bad stop. I just filled up, showered & got moving again so no idea what the parking is like at night but given the location it may very well be a free for all. But again, I dont know. Ill be here again for sure.

If you are a truck driver, keep driving! The showers are soooooooo nasty!! The first shower I was in didnt have hot water. The second one had hair and toenail clippings all over the floor. Both showers had green and black mold. Even the floor outside of the showers was filthy. I wish i was exaggerating.

If not foe the dennys they would get 5 stars. Waited forever and didnt even get a drink, bought the pizza in flying j instead and it was halfway raw. No thank you! Restrooms needed attending.

This flying J was great . amazing staff great friendly smiles. Very clean bathrooms. My husband makes it a point no mattwr where we travel we must stop at flying J . We are a huge cleveland browns fans.Nonetheless our 22 hr trip vacation was not as welcoming of flying J heading to Florida. This one coming home to Texas was the most clean bathrooms. God Bless Texas

Store was excellent friendly staff. But Dennys was really poor service and food wasnt worth what I paid for. Didnt think you could mess up a salad but they seemed to do it quite well.

Waited 20 minutes to get a propane bottle filled. No one ever showed so I left. I called the store and they really didnt seem too concerned about my small issue LOL. I can assure you I wont be back to fill any propane tanks I will go to Coastal Welding and Bridge City.

Dennys is a great place! I ordered the veggie Omelet along with grits and English muffin paired with coffee and it looks and tastes good! Will likely return!

I had a 5 star review, until a lady accused me of stealing. Maybe it was my long hair, or the backpack I carry. I got a refil and advanced to a register not occupied by the eating manager, and wham. Dirty threatening words belittling me as a man. I whooped my hooey wallet out threw her a five and said have a blessed day. I have spent maybe 50$ there in the last 3 days. What a shame that the management lady in orange had to judge my book by its cover. Kudos I guess since flying js does not fly the american flag. I refuse to do business with pilot from here on out. Sorry about your luck! Not to mention that in public she would be considered to have performed a hate crime, I reckon there is no justice when youre at the top of the ladder in this company. Too bad I heard they needed a maintenance man and I had prepared a way to fill that spot. Not now.

Truck Stop just bad location with all the road construction. Great travelers stop for fuel, food, restroom and even showers, great place to park and get some sleep, open 24 hours with security for cars and campers.

The Mobile truck arrived in 20 min and changed my tire in under 15 min good customer service ill be going back if needed clean showers hot food and clean location with a Blue Beacon truck wash

Wife and I stopped here for a quick shower.Shower room smelled of mildew and was not very clean at all. Didnt want to touch any of the surfaces in there.

This would normally be a 5 star review. This time however the new inexperienced cook seems to have been cut loose to make our order. Wifes omelette was cold in middle (eggs). We sent it back, the plate was remade but had chicken in it this time instead of sausage and bacon. Was supposed to be the ultimate omelet. The manager did remove the charge from our ticket and had the correct dish made to go for us. Appropriate level of concern was expressed along with apologies. We still plan to eat there again. Just need to make sure cook is ready before letting him/her prepare dishes for customers unsupervised.

Clean restrooms, food is great and fuel is cheap but good. Employees are Curtious.

RV gas pumps are great however the fact that they are no longer flying the American flag in America is a disgrace and disrespectful. Drivers that are not American but are here or whatever reason should not be offended by our American flag. And if so go back to your country.

Friendly, fast service with a smile and being located by expressway on/off ramps lets you know before you stop how bad your wallets gonna be hit!! But I must say the price range here was a pleasant surprise to most like it and my wallet thanked me for it🤗

Their fuel pumps are junk. The buttons dont work on some of them the other seems like theyve been beat on or something. Now I know why I usually fuel at LovesWell I went inside to get a fountain drink and the Coke Zero came out clear so I dumped that and tried to get a caffeine-free Diet Coke but it tasted too weak. So I finally got a Diet Pepsi I could stand. However the pizza was pretty good and the two ladies working the cash registers were working hard trying to get everybody out. But when you enter or leave the building the smoking area is right in front of the door and it smells like stale cigarettes like its some nasty old bar. I will definitely avoid this place in the future.

I go to alot of flying j and this was the worst one Ive ever been in. Went to the ladys room and it was nasty their was the toilets full and toilet paper every where. We got to pieces of pizza and the pizza was so hard that my dogs would not even ear them. I was really disappointed to because I love the pizza at flying j travel center.
