Grateful this little pie shop was open until 10! Located in the heart of Orange, the street is on is closed to traffic and had been pedestrianized to let the eateries have open seating fire patrons.Ample street parking late at night. Employees were super nice. Kind of expensive but for a birthday treat it was worth it. I got a Cereal Killer cheesecake which had chewy fruit loops in it. I would opt for the apple pie next time. Others got the Brownie Pie which was nice and rich. And the Mexican Chocolate had lovely texture.

We got a little bit fo everything. The little bites are great and flavorful. Out of all the pies we liked the earl Grey and the smores best. The Mexican chocolate was good but very dense.

I loved all the pies that I tried. I think the shepherds pie slice was perhaps the best. As this has a good strong beef flavor I wish I sampled the Chicken Pot Pie slice first as it had a much lighter flavor that was dominated my palate. Tried both some of their sweet and savory items. There was not a loser in the lot. As I visit this shop on pi day (3/14), I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a pi day special on this day that was appropriately priced at $3.14

Great little place and atmosphere. I was able to get a happy hour special for a slice for $4.99 versus $7 at full price. For $5 I was satisfied with the purchase but for full price I think I would have been underwhelmed. The Apple pie was good and had a classic take on it. It wasn’t as sweet a slight sour to it. The cereal killer was a good yet again I didn’t find either one a 10/10 they were a solid 5.

The pie was ok, the whipped cream was delicious and the staff was great. The ambiance was pleasant and it was a good experience but, if I went back, I would try something different.

Place is epic, located in old Towne orange near the circle. Wide variety of pies and coffee to choose from. I dont have a personal fave bit I will say I do love the earl grey and oatmeal cookies.

I could wax poetic about the virtues of the Mexican chocolate pie at The Pie Hole, but to put it simply, the Pie Hole consistently has delicious desserts that are indulgent and rich. The Mexican chocolate pie is thick and creamy, while the earl grey pie is more light and airy, but grounded by the toasted pistachios that adorn its top. You should split the pies with loved ones, although it’s certainly doable to eat an entire slice by yourself.It’s $7 a pie slice but they also do have delivery/takeout. You can order a whole pie if you’d like, and they do offer drinks like matcha tea and coffee. They accept credit cards and this location does have outdoor seating. The cashier was very friendly and mentioned that they have happy hour from Monday through Friday where pie slices are $5 and whole pies are ~$30. There’s street parking or you could also use a public lot since this location is located at the end of the promenade where there are quite a few restaurants/stores for you to peruse.Overall, the location is convenient if you’re in the OC and the pies are so yummy.

Had been looking forward to returning to Pie Hole after moving to Tennessee. Havent had anything like the little pie holes made here. Such a delight and a little taste of awesome pie! Get your milk ready for some of these pie holes!

Delicious pies! We tried cereal killer- awesomeness, and not as sweet as I expected. The apple pie, which was classic and delicious. The earl grey was my favorite though. I just loved it. Very light and creamy. The location is good, but parking sucks. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Wish they would expand to more location!

My husband and son and I went today for lunch. We had never been here but it sounded so good and I read a lot of good reviews. (and Im a pie lover)My husband and I had the Handslam Empienada, which was described as egg, ham and cheese in a butter crust with salt. My son had the Chorizo Empienada. So--the crust was good, and she warmed them up. But the filling (on all) was dry/hard and very bland. There is just nothing good to be said about them. Tasted like theyd been in the fridge since last week?We shared a cherry hand pie for dessert--that was tasty and warm, but I was really sad about the main course.My son had the Cereal Killer cheesecake which he said was too sweet and didnt finish, but if you order a cheesecake with froot loops and fruity pebbles in it, what do you expect?Anyways, we wont be returning...too many other good places to go!

Pi day special $3.14 for 3 different flavor pie hole and $3.14 blueberry lemonade (the purple drink). May return to try their actual pie and not pie holes. The apple pie hole was the best of three three (strawberry and blueberry) in my humble opinion. Love the blueberry lemonade and would get that again. Oh, restroom is for customer only, in case you need that info while out and about the Circle.

The key lime pie was simply outstanding! And blueberry pecan crumble was equally as good. Whatca cool place!

I really enjoyed the pie and coffee, and being open till 10 pm is a great thing! The guy who got our order wasn’t that nice, maybe he had a bad day I don’t know but when I asked for his favorite and the most popular item he wasn’t in good mood to answer... anyway it was my last visit.

Great place !!! Stopped in here for lunch after walking around the antique shops and it was fantastic. Ordered the mac n cheese pie and it was delicious, great flavour and filling. Will definitely come back to try the sweet pies next time. I highly recommended this place. Must try.

The pies are excellent. I had a taste of 2 different slices and both were amazing. But the reason the rating is higher is the price. Its hard to justify $7 for one slice

I enjoy there little pie hole my favorite was the Nutella and had a horchata latte. Giving them a good review as well and thanking them for keeping business open while all that is going on. City of Orange come thru and support your local businesses

I love the concept of this place! After marveling at the crazy cereal pie, we opted for Mexican chocolate and honey custard. A touch too much honey in the custard for my taste. The Mexican chocolate was delish although super dense. Best part is the fluffy topping! Staff is wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. This is a great location as well. Downtown Orange is a great place to spend an evening, pop into quaint stores, grab dinner and pie!! Tip: park in the free lot on the street behind Pie Hole. 🤗

My wife & I saw this place on the Cooking Channel. We had Apple pie a la mode. It was SPECTACULAR! Better than Grandmas & thats saying something! The Latte was awesome, too!

Bad service, walked out with out buying anything. Cashier gave us a look like he didnt want to help us. A dessert place that sells coffee bit they dont have any, Ive been to bakeries where they make me fresh coffee even thoug they have some.

It was okay. The mac pie was a bit dry. The shepherds pie was a lacking a bit.The dessert pies were delicious.

Maybe it was because I really didnt want Gelato or ice cream again for dessert but we loved getting pie from pie hole! All 5 of us tried a different slice but my husbands salted carmel custard was the best! I never would have ordered it but it will always be one of our favorites now.

Their pies are always yummy. However Ive never had a problem with their employees but tonight I was not greeted when I walked in and when I asked a couple questions about one of the pies I had never had before they couldnt answer it until finally some girl from the back came out and said just look in the book. But in general I do enjoy eating here once in awhile.

Tasty pies (Almost as good as grandma’s)! They have good customer service and to my surprise serve Cuban style espressos, Affogados and Cortados.

Was hoping to try the cereal killer pie (unfortunately it’s seasonal) but the coconut cream was excellent!

I’ve been thinking about visiting this place for a while, and I’m glad we finally took the trip. The Pie Hole is located on a really cute street lined with small shops and other restaurants as well. We tried the brownie pie, the cereal killer pie, the peaches and cream empanada and the horchata iced coffee. I wasn’t too impressed with the cereal killer pie or the empanada, but the iced coffee and brownie pie were really nice! The brownie pie was very creamy and dense in the perfect way! It was also really rich which was great! I loved how the horchata iced coffee had a cinnamon aftertaste and I was glad it the coffee taste wasn’t too over powering. As for the other two, the peaches and cream empanada was very wet and dissolved the empanada dough quickly. I was very excited about the cereal killer pie, but it didn’t taste anything like I thought it would. Instead of it tasting like fruity charm milk like i had hoped, it was a very heavy cream cheese flavor and the only other sweetness came from the cereal toppings. Over all, a great experience and I would come back again to try some other flavors!

This location is in Old Town Orange, which is a quaint area with shops, restaurants/bars, and neighboring homes. Super nice staff. Got the cereal killer and nitro cold brew. The pie was delicious. Although it is on the pricey end at $6.50 a slice. The nitro cold brew wasnt too bad. Not the best Ive had, but Id certainly get it again. Its also fun sitting outside and observing downtown Orange.

Pie hole is always a solid place to go to for pie for lunch and dinner. Their savory pies are always really good.

As always, if my food is amazing, I dont get a chance to take pictures. Why because I ate it! All of it. For years all I really wished is a place where I can get amazing pie. In all honesty there are not many places in Orange County that has great pie. However today with some help from others tasted my way through a slice of Mexican Chocolate pie (which was a thick cinnamon and nutmeg enhanced chocolate ganache topped with a extra creamy coffee whipped cream). A spinach, mushroom, and feta cheese quiche. A Italian Sausage hand pie. A chorizo hand pie. An iced boysenberry hand pie. (Yes I pigged out, but like I said I had help!) All this with an Iced Latte. It was a perfect morning with the most amazing buttery crusts ever. If you like food and really enjoy buttery, cripsy, flakey, crusts, deep flavors, and a pie that is just the right amount of sweet. Come here now! And yes I took pie home for further... Experimentation...

COVID-19 Update: No Indoor Dining Available, but Outdoor Patio Stylr Seating is available and beautiful looking as well! Early Grey remains my favorite pie in addition to the Mexican Chocolate Pie. The Mexican Chocolate pie is soooooo rich, but is also strangely the type you dont get sick of eating, bite after bite :) I just wish it wasnt 7 bucks a pie... kinda expensive, but I understand these pies are better than your average pie BY FAR. Selection used to be much larger but you cant complain!

First time here, first time trying Shepards Pie. Service was quick and nice. The lady up front was very sweet and helped me with the menu. The pie itself was pretty good! It LOOKED burnt and was turned off by it but still gave it a go. Crust was the best part. Not too hard or overcooked. I did expect it to be more creamy? I was hoping to have the contents ooze out when cut but it stayed in place. It was missing something, not sure what. I will definitely come again and I hope to try more items!

Whats with the chicken pot pie thats two thirds cakey crust? Maybe it was an accident, but it looked intentional: how to give the customer much less chicken and vegetables. A really disappointing dinner. (Regular pies much better.)

So first time there pie special is a pie of choice and small green salad with cherry tomatoes and vinaigrette. Pie is as small as a frozen banquet but its hearty (Shepard pie) 9.99 special. I also got the zucchini lemon bread slice. Wow the icing is Super tart. Pucker up! The bread was moist with bits of zucchini and lemon zests. Coffee is strong! I will return since I shared the pie special and was still hungry. Next time Ratatouille.

My favorite coffee spot in the area! Lavender white mocha is a must if you enjoy lattes. Their coffee is strong so no extra shots or anything is ever required here. They make everything perfectly proportional and depending whos working they will make a very cute design out of foam!The Pie Hole

We cannot give a review to the savory pies only the fruit/sweet pies. VERY DISAPPOINTING. We ordered a variety of apple crumb, blueberry, strawberry lavender, Nutella and Mexican chocolate. The Nutella had great flavor but the others tasted of freezer burn. Couldnt eat them. Honestly was hoping for something better. We will go back to try the savory in hopes to redeem this review but for now, not impressed.

We’ve come back multiple times... love the apple pie and recently tried the Earl Grey pie which was amazing. Also had a great Vanilla Latte. A great place to hang out and enjoy dessert.

Had this in LA years ago so was excited to hear they opened in OC. I finally had a chance to stop by and quality hasnt changed. The location was clean and relaxing. The employees were patient, kind, and helpful. The flavors are still super unique and delicious.

I googled top 10 places to eat pie the Pie Hole came upThe pie crust had no flavor and the apples were bitter. As for the pumpkin pie it had no flavor at all.This has been the worst 25$ Ive ever spent.First and last time I ever go there!!The only positive comment i can make was that the customer service was good

I just moved to Irvine from Miami a week ago and the first place we ate at was here. This is our second week and second time at the restaurant. The banana pie is the best Ive tried in my life, and I just ordered the chocolate milkshake and I cant even explain how good it is, it is made with real chocolate. If youre in town, drop by and have anything kn the menu, youll stay hooked!

The Pie Holes are soooo good, got one of each (Buy 6 Get 1 Free) and we dont regret it, theyre all very tasty. Coconut Creme Pie is very very delicious. Thumbs up!

Good concept..I love pot pies... Just a little too fancy...should have stuck with the basic meat and potatoes type pies. I got like Shepards pie...witch i thought was supposed to be potatoes and ground meat...but i got some super tangy burnt pie that sat in my stomach like a rock. Id still give this place another shot..maybe i just didnt choose the right pie for me.

Had many options for dessert and was walking by and saw their great looking pies, so we stopped in. We got got the Momma Apple Crumble Pie and all Ican say is wow. Price was a little high but the quality and size makes the price well worth it. A definite great place to stop
