I was Christmas shopping getting songetting some out of the way they have great sales sales great staff

Was here to shoe shop for my 20 year old son. Found a good selection and good prices. The employees were extremely helpful. My son found 3 pairs of shoes (highly unusual for him!) A great shopping experience

Conveniently located across from The Village Mall, and just down the street from Target, there are plenty of casual and fast food eateries in the immediate area, so if you are working your way through a shopping list, Big 5 may have that hard to find outdoor, exercise, or sporting good item that you have been looking for!Its my primary go to store for outdoors shoes, hats & caps. The young lady cashier was exceptionally nice and helpful, also there was a young man in evening that was nice and helpful as well. I only gave 3 stars because the older gentleman when I went in was rude and just because there was 4 people doing transactions in my party on New Year’s Eve, HE ACCTUALLY TOLD ME TO “WAIT” SO HE COULD RING UP SOMEONE ELSE THAT WAS BEHIND US IN LINE AND EVEN THOUGH HE DID THAT I STILL SAID THANK YOU AFTER MY TRANSACTION AND HE STRAIGHT IGNORED ME!!!!! RUDE!!!! If he can’t deal with large amounts of people then maybe HE SHOULDN’T work there!!! Also during my time there a customer was asking for snow boots in front of store, even though several other customers waited in shoes for service, it looked short staff so there was a small wait no problem, but older man employee didn’t send customer to back of store and wait like everyone else he was straight acting rude with young gentleman employee and he even told him when customer left “SEE WHAT HAPPENED THE GUY LEFT BECAUSE YOU TOOK TO LONG” this guy should be canned or take a customer service class along with treating fellow employees with respect!!!! Other than that older employee everything else was awesome take him out of equation and you would have 5 stars!!!I put a picture of myself so when and if employee read this he knows who said it!!!

This Big 5 location has helpful employees and a great selection of all the sporting goods you could ever need. I was helped by the manager who was cool enough to come over to me and ask if I needed help. Prices are always great but some items are out of stock due to the good price. Other than that, it is a great source for sporting goods. Parkimg on weekends is sometimes crowded but not an issue during the week.

Service was excellent and friendly. No wait. Limited options for archery, but hey, at least they had something (and knew that arrow length is important).

Not like the Big 5 I knew. But then again the store I went to was a small store. Not a large selection in most departments. The staff was attractive and cordial. They are down for the covid-19 protocols. Im sure covid-19 had plenty to do with the appearance of the store. Ill be back in to check on them. Lets go. Big 5!!!

Good selection, prices and customer service. It was busy and had limited cashiers. Small store but good selection. I can always find what I need when I go there.

Only one sales clerk was dealing with a person who brought in a bag of returns. People who wanted to buy something had to wait in line. I noticed the manager looked at the line, and walked away. After 10-15 minutes, I placed the item on the counter, and left the store.Dont go there if youre in a hurry.

The staff here went above and beyond in helping me. The item I wanted was not in stock so the employee patiently called other stores for me to find it. As we waited on hold, I asked about archery supplies and she provided me with tons of helpful information about getting started, including where to get good lessons. She really knew her sport and was a great help. Even though we never were able to locate the item I originally wanted, the experience in customer service was excellent. I will definitely go back! (The only reason for one missing star in my rating is the limited stock availability. Otherwise Id definitely give 5.)

Good selection of sporting equipment. Was looking for a tennis racket grip and one of the associates helped me pick one out for me. He was very knowledgeable. Quite a small store all crammed with a lot, plus more shoes.

My local Big 5 store! Been going there since I was smaller! Great store. I did go in one time, recently, and one of the associates at the register wasnt handling their stress too well...but, besides that, its great!

Selection of ammunition and firearms is poor at best. The store associate that helped me seemed less than thrilled to be there and to help me. I think Ill forego this store in the future.

I went in to purchase a swimming cap and earplugs for swimming. I couldnt find any employee to help me. There were 2 women cashiers up front helping customers so they were occupied. I couldnt find anyone else though I could hear them paging a person to help in a different section of the store. I had to search around the store quite abit to find the area with swimming gear. I had some questions about the swimming caps since there was about 4 different manufacturers avail for purchase...once again there was no employee avail to help me...FRUSTRATING. I also had questions about the earplugs as there was 2 different types. I finally decided to go ahead and make my purchase and waited in line to pay...sadly not even a Thank you when I finished the transaction and left. I have to say that I wont go back to that location again. I certainly dont feel valued as a customer there. I went into the store VS shopping online to keep our local store busy but at this point why bother? I do hope this improves otherwise it will be another store closing among many others.🙄

Good alternative store. They dont require you to wrap your body, walk upside down, or expect you to delude yourself before you come in.Just wear a mask!

Everything sports but limited to only a few of the items not very many selections since the store is so small . We have purchased some toys they broke fast or malfunction. Since it was Christmas items couldnt return them. Tbh sometimes Walmart or target has better durable and less expensive options for sporting gear .

I phoned in about hiking sticks and they had selections for me at the register when I got there.

Excellent store, excellent customer service

Just went in there to buy soccer shoes for my son and spend MONEY! But all the employees seemed to be interested in was talking among themselves and organizing the store while I was getting cleats out to try on my sons feet and measuring his feet(which from My experience from buying shoes is usually the job of the employees). I recommend going to another store where the employees aren’t so busy asking among themselves and ensuring that the store looks good and care to assist customers who want to spend money.

I hate shopping at this store because it’s so hard to find what you are looking for, especially if its shoes sizes as they are spotty and wide widths are rarely marked on display. Worse is the sales help that is rarely available for helping you find what you need. On the positive, they have a lot of merchandise in the stores and if you look, you can always find a coupon for additional savings.

Not the usual overpriced giant big box sports store. Very friendly helpful staff. Great prices when you get daily deals and use coupons.

Big five. Got what I wanted and it was on clearance. Used to get all my shoes here good prices. I went out and hit some golf balls and today shot hoops. So get your stuff and start having fun.

Well, based on how much the stuff costs retail and the number of staff there it should be better service. Plenty of choices, not a crazy amount..... seems like the 20 somethings have taken over with their magical way of handling customers, understand? :(Almost a 4 star..... but plenty of room for improvement.

I miss the days of Sports Authority. This is a great place too. Just wish the ladies section had more variety. I do love the email blasts for daily deals. I have scored a couple of great items with big savings

Great selection in camping, shoes, baseball and more. Employees very friendly. The store is well stocked over all. Theres an online discount coupon accessible on their website that is 10 & 20 percent off of most non sale items except for Nike brand and possibly other brands. Print out the coupon before you leave home and read the fine print. It comes in handy when youre spending over $50! I believe you can use the coupons as often as you wish but they have expiration dates so you have to do it each time you go. I even pulled the coupon up on my phone at check out the other day and the clerk scanned it from my phone. It was worth it, I saved over $25 on my purchase.

Have ALWAYS had pleasant and knowledgeable staff help me when I have shopped here. The store is kept clean and orderly. It is easy to find staff and products.

Great sporting good to shop at. Sometimes it is hard to find help. Good selection of sporting goods, camping, fishing, team sports and guns.

Found 1 out of 3 things I needed for my son. Hes small so x-small belts and socks for baseball are hard to find. But at the same time... sporting good store that doesnt have stock for the littlest of athletes kinda sucks.

We went in for cross training shoes and came home with a pair of Nike Air and binoculars. Service was excellent. In and out in less than 20 minutes.

For the last month or so Ive been searching to find a good deal on a pop up tent. Ended up getting an email sale with a pop up tent leg weights and back cover. For $40. I was so happy they have them in stock picks it up same day now I got a pop up tent for a great deal

This place is an Orange Classic. Almost nothing has changed about this store - has the same comforting youth athletic smell - and all the same stuff. In the same isles. Gotta respect sticking to your guns in the age of huge sports stores. They are survivors.

The staff was incredibly rude. Went in to buy some hiking boots and waited around got about 5 minutes for an employee to help me. I handed him the shoe and asked for my size. He walks into the back and comes out about 5 minutes later and says they dont have my size. He places the shoe back on the wall and walks away! We ended up walking out past mulitple employees that said absolutely nothing to us.

Found mr. Buddy heater on line, couldnt find it in the store. Asked mgr. Quickly found heater in overhead, bought heater. Great customer service.

I swear all you have to do to be considered a thief or a suspicious person is to have dark skin at this store! Constant badgering “can I help you?” and “are you looking for something?” I come to this store to browse and always buy something. But this might be my last with this kind of people. I told the white girl 5 times I’m still looking and she kept insisting. Very annoying.

Kind of a bummer today. Specifically stopped to pickup some Pinnacle golf balls. Out of stock. So I went to shop some new tennis shoes. Picked out a pair and asked the most disinterested clerk you could imagine if I could try these on in a size 10. He finally came back to tell me that hey didnt have that size. It was time to leave. Not going the way that I had hoped for.
