For a long time I heard about Goodies in the Pantry, but I never got a chance to set aside the time to go, until yesterday. Oh, boy! What a treat! If you know to appreciate good finds, and good eats, than chain restaurants will became a joke after your first visit to Goodies in the Pantry! REAL FOOD, prepared by REAL PEOPLE! The smell and the aroma in the store/restaurant, it brings you back to earth from the virtual, noisy, busyness and stressful life. I will say, for many of us can be consider therapy, just to seat and enjoy a extremely delicious meal, welcomed by very nice people. As it was my first time here, Ive got to meet the owner, and by the time I left, it was like we always knew each other. Very friendly people, and the environment will make you feel like home. Very impressive! Good job, Goodies in the Pantry .And by the way, after you are done with your food, go shop in the store, for extra supplies if you want a small replica of what you just eat. Im not sure that youll succeed, but will give you the confidence knowing that at least youve tried. And no problem, they will be there for you to satisfy your next craving for real food!

Love this place!.. One of my favorite places to eat. . Food is delicious and mouth watering. Had one of my best steaks ive ever tasted here . .This place currently holds my top three places to get a delicious crafted steak. . .And everything on there menu is finger licking good. .

Memorial Day Dining with my family was made a WONDERFUL experience at Goodies in The Pantry by the exceedingly friendly staff and EXCELLENT food. They have a great menu full of very good food as well as shelves and shelves of canned foods, condiments, spices, and herbs that is unmatched. We purchased several of these to take home with us. One of the best moves we have done in a very long time.This is a definite add to any dining list you have. Just make sure it is at the top.

My wife was driving me nuts about wanting something to eat. Me, I don’t care everything sounds boring. So she said we are going to try Goodies! She nailed it! I loved it from the parking lot you can smell the smoking at work. We are fans and will make this our new spot. Sorry no photos my wife and I were enjoying the food. No time for any of that. We had the meatball soup, flat steak with amazing mash potatoes & a brisket sandwich. Do yourself a favor follow your noise and it will take you to the promise land of amazing food! Next time

I had wild boar with potatoes and pickles and I have to say it was delicious, also the kids had potato soup with smoked pork beyond amazing . The service was great, prices were excellent and the deli is very well stocked. We waited only a few minutes for the food and it smelled like heaven!Plenty of free parking.

This shop smells absolutely intoxicating. Excited to hear baked goods are on the way and there will be even more in my next visit.I had a brisket sandwich with wonderfully soft and perfectly toasted bread, and a chipotle sauce complemented by sweet pickles. It was gorgeous.

We’ve dined in fine restaurants across the world, including the best in Italy, and never have we been this luxury restaurant that has very lovely and accommodating staff, and the food was fantastic. So addictive! Their service is very stunning! I liked it so much. I would have to recommend this place to everyone.

When you live a carnivore life, you need places like this. Claudio created the perfect place for those that eat meat.

The staff also was very nice to me and that made me comfortable ordering. I was craving garlic butter shrimp, and thankfully, theres a restaurant nearby that serves a variety of shrimp dishes. Highly recommended!

Had heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to try it. Got brisket plate. Brisket was tender and juicy. Really liked the mashed potatoes, very flavorful. Kind of like they mixed meat drippings in. Unique place have game meats to, venison, rabbit, elk and boar. Will be going back to try more.

Great food, friendly staff, wonderful cuts of meat. The sausage is amazing. The place is a little hard to find but its worth the effort. This is the place to get your meat for summer cook outs. They also have a wonderful deli and hot meals. Try the sausage sandwich you will love it.

You are greeted by some of the friendliest folks who make you feel right at home, not like you’ve walked into a business.The first time I ordered food here I got a brisket plate... I sat down to eat it and started with taking a bite of a pickle and immediately I thought ... “no one makes pickles like this ?!” I tried the cooked peppers and loved the complexity of flavor - I haven’t even had the meat yet. I took one bite of meat and knew ... this is a gift to be able to smoke meat like this.I’ve since gone back with friends many times and have had the brisket sandwich, the ribs and tried the rabbit stew(oh my goodness). What a gem! They have a variety of cuts from different types of game, poultry and herd. Theyll make you a delicious deli sandwich or hot dinner plate with some of their cuts and its all delicious! Large portions too! They carry various imported sundries as well. Got some buffalo skirt stake, apricot jam and pate. I also tried a roast lamb sandwich before taking the rest of my items to go. You must visit!

This place is awesome and the family behind the counter are all extremely friendly. This is now my go-to butcher for any kind of meat when I want to entertain guests. Ribs, brisket, steaks, etc. This man knows what he is doing and is so easy to talk to about different cuts of beef. He has a lunch menu and serves that same delicious sweet meat. Even if youre not in the area and you have a craving for some good barbecued meat, I highly recommend stopping by. Its hidden in a corner and the signs arent obvious but its next to a spa and a dentist? Anyhow, definitely stop in and give this place your business. I picked up a few steaks and some sausage he makes fresh that I thoroughly enjoyed. Hopefully business continues to grow for him. He also does catering! I didnt think good Delis existed in Orange County anymore until I found this place.The meat is so fresh and the flavoring is unreal, some of the best smoked meat I have ever tried!The owner is such a great guy, I wasnt sure on what to try first so he let me try a couple of the meats before I chose what I wanted... such great customer service.If your looking for a great place to eat, you owe it to yourself to at least try this place out... 5 stars, is recommend it to anyone.

Excellent food. Ive tried many sandwiches, soups, hand made salami, and hand made sausage from Goodies in the Pantry. They are each unique and delicious! All at extremely reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and this is clearly more than a job, but a passion. If you love meats and cheeses and breads, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome local butcher shop. Smells great as you walk in and all of the meat and sausages on display look fresh and delicious. Ordered a steak sandwich with roasted onions mushrooms and peppers, with a side of potato salad. The food was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning soon.

One of the best deli meat shops in Orange Country! If you want to taste delicious Eastern European salted, smoked and cured deli meats, this is the place! They provide beef primal cuts and sub primal cuts, as well as pork and lamb. I highly recommend Goodies in the Pantry!

Thought I would try a butcher for once I got 3 steaks which cost me roughly about 91.00. They were good but not 91 dollars good. Dude was cool. Good customer service but the prices were steep. Maybe I should just stick to stater brothers. Probably could of got double what I got from this place. Im not knocking this establishment at all just dont fit my budget.

Romanian deli, butcher, cafe. The owner is on hand to explain any of the dishes and meats if you have any questions. I have been there twice and both times I have eaten something delicious. I ordered the Romanian sausage the first time, the sausage had a great balance of lean to fat and the seasoning was tasty with hints of paprika and garlic.the second time I got the roasted lamb, it was seasoned well and cooked very tender. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful lamb sandwich with tzaziki !!! My friend had chicken vegetable soup that she said was excellent. Service was very good. Only complaint is that the tables were too high for the chairs. Very cutely decorated but a little hard to find. Definitely worth a return trip.

The sausage plate and brisket were delicious! The spicy pickles are to die for! Took an apple pastry to go and that too was super tasty.

This place is great! Get the ribs or brisket sandwich. They smoke there meats, but not American style, it eastern European, which for me is more of a lightly smoke flavor that lets the flavor of the meat speak for itself.

Best bunny stew ever.I am an avid BBQ guy and both their tri tip and brisket sandwiches were off the hook. Great French roll brought it all together. Generous portions on their sides. Great tasty food

Love the owner and the passion put into really making authentic and delicious food. Great prices for something really hard to find which is the dedication to a craft and quality in every dish. You cant make a wrong choice and they are very nice about letting you try things. reminds me of those small family resuraunts in Europe that blow your mind.

This gem of a deli/cafe is tucked away so well its almost impossible to find. They carry a variety of deli meats and desserts, but if you want something truly decadent, try the rabbit stew. The rabbit is tender and not at all gamey tasting. The sauce is thick and savory, infused with chunks of Romanian bacon. It is served with mashed potatoes and a side of sweet peppers and pickles. A real treat for about $13. The space is very small, with only two tables and seating for 6 to 8 people, so you may want to place your order to go.

This is a new place and hopefully it gets better than what it is. Its a small place, Ill give it that but theres many things lacking in it to make it a place Id like to goto. Now I didnt eat or buy anything here but its kind of hard to when theres no prices on the items for sale. Simply cannot trust that nor do I want to ask how much things are when I see something. Am I getting a different price because Im wearing a green shirt when they only like red shirts? They simply lost a chance to earn a customer as I probably would not step foot in there again even though their food did smell nice.

Goodies in the Pantry is a secret gem. Ive lived in orange 3 years and somehow never realized it existed until FoodBeast did their video a couple weeks back. My girlfriend and I checked it out today and will definitely be back. Claudio was very helpful, and patient and you could tell he took great pride in the quality of the food they offer. The spot is more of a butchery, with a small kitchen that allows them to put out some amazing food.We tried their rabbit stew with mashed potatoes in a cream sauce which was delicious.We also ended up picking up a ribeye steak as well as some sausage for charcuterie.Cant wait to go back and try some more meats.

Nothing like your regular Staters Meat Dept server that just hands you the meat. Very cute place, and lots of variety. If you dont like one type of offering, theres more to choose from with different flavoring. Our favorite was the Romanian sausage and the mici. We also tried the Transylvanian suasage which is really good. The chocolate roll cake is delicious but not rediculously sweet, which is refreshing! Theres not a lot of seating area; the couple tables they have are in a nook that is decorated straight from the countryside of Romania; very well setup. The owner is happy to help with whatever you need and the bakery supervisor is such a sweet lady. We decided to also use them for catering our Thanksgiving gathering, and they are were ready to personalize the order however we needed. Note: For lunch, I didnt see a menu in the place (maybe I overlooked it) but their website has a menu you can choose from. Also, depending on what you order, it may take a while to cook, but I do believe they have items for quick order too. We arrived early for lunch, so they were still cooking the meats for lunch. I absolutely recommend you try them for lunch or for catering; they seem like a great group of people! And they were nice to my 2 year old too, which is a bonus :).
