Excellent selection of minerals with low prices, something for everyone!

I forget the older mans name that I was talking too, but he was extremely helpful in guiding me to the right thing to purchase as an anniversary token. Fantastic service! I could spend hours there just looking at all of the different minerals and fossils. Great place, great people.

This is an amazing store. Lots of great minerals at a great prices. Walter is an amazing wealth of knowledge. My only complaint is the AC is out currently.

Amazing collection of minerals, and now finished stones for new jewelers and silversmiths.Walt is one of the most knowledgeable geologists that Ive ever met, a human encyclopedia of rocks from all over the place, just pulling verifiable information off of his head. Every specimen is meticulously labeled and identified. And he had THE largest fluorescent mineral collection I’ve ever seen in a store. Got a rock you don’t anything about? Walt can probably tell ya what it is.If you’re a serious collector or even one who just started, plan to spend an hour or two here. Not only will you walk out with something exceptional, you’ll know ten times more than when you walked in.

What a friendly owner! He is an expert in his field and said he almost has 100,00 books on mineraology. The lady who was working in the background even greeted me with a smile. The store is almost a quiet mini museum. Even though I didnt buy anything left with a fantastic afterfeel! Highly recommended. And their store will be blessed.

This place is a goldmine- of rocks, minerals, and information! Walt is so helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to share. Were certainly signing up for one of the field trips he leads. The geological books and periodicals on offer range from accessible to kids through collectors items of specialist tomes. We went home with a very reasonably priced bag of rough, but barely tore ourselves away from some lovely turtle coprolite. Definitely worth a visit, but hidden in the corner of the shopping center, so make sure you dont miss it.

Best collection I have seen anywhere, yet. The owner, Walter, a degreed geologist, is knowledgeable and prices are right. I spend about 30 minutes, but will have to come back w more time to actually buy as there is so much good stuff to buy. I think, only somebody with love for natural minerals and fossils will carry so much inventory.

I have a different perspective on this shop and the owner. I have had multiple (30 +) consigned pieces of rocks and minerals in Walters shop for almost three years. I have always had to call multiple times and then visit in person about sales of my items, only to be told he was sorry for the delay and would get a check out in a few days as soon as he got caught up. I cant tell you how many time this has happened, and even after telling me in person he will send what I am due from sales, I seldom ever get my check. On numerious occasions I have even sent a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to make it easy. Nope.It has now been a year since he has communicated with me even though I have said I probably need to pull my consignments. (Which I have several thousands of dollars worth.) Either that or go to small claims court to get the value of what has sold that I havent been paid for yet and the existing consignment inventory. Neither option is appealing to me, but I feel I have been violated and taken advantage of by Walter. I have been very civil with him in all my personal meetings, but actually told him in person once that he has the worst short term memory when it comes to business dealings than anyone I have ever met. We laughed, he apologized, but then months went by and nothing.I wish he treated his consignors as well as he seems to treat his customers.

TLDR I visited first time today and it was great. Friendly shop keeper, beautiful arrangements, nice atmosphere.Long story, I been hearing so many people on podcasts I listen to talking about crystals. Today at the mall I saw a neat little shop and checked it out but it felt a little too commercial, so I google maps searched “crystals”. Nevada M&B was neat by I stopped by. I first went in to the wrong shop cuz I read the signs wrong. Then I was about to leave because I didn’t see the place. Then two cute young ladies were chatting up by the store fronts and walked into a door a little further from me. I wondered, then I walked up to look, and sure enough that was the place. So that was enough of a sign that I was at the right place.10/10 will return.

Walking in, the entire environment felt like stepping into the back lot of a museum, with drawers filled with gorgeous minerals and fossils. The stones were amazing, the proprietor well able to discuss the history of the various collections, and makeup of the stones. I found the store where I can find christmas, birthday, anniversary, and valantines gifts. A+

Walt (Owner) is an extremely nice and friendly guy. And hes more geologist than salesman. This means that hes helpful, friendly, and very knowledgable. Most importantly, you can trust him. Hes not just trying to rope you in and sell you on stuff. In addition to a large and impressive collection of minerals and books on minerals, he also has connections for rock and gem hunting. And he has connections with lapidary faceting and with local jewelers. So your rocks can either remain as specimens or become jewelry. This may sound like an advertisement. Its not. Im just a happy customer.

Walt is a great person, very knowledgeable,and has great customer service, he has a lot of great specimens, time will fly by when looking at everything, recommend to come by and experience this hidden treasure.

Tried visiting this establishment for a week straight, it was closed for several reasons. The most valid was a power outage, but the rest of the time was closed for what Im assuming to be personal buisness. It was disheartening, no one picked up the phone, hope can you run/own a business and be closed for a week straight? Ive since given up on this place since the owner send to come and go as they please.
