We ordered 4 Phonix Rods for casting too water at Striper in Quebec, CA, asked to have the handles modified to our specifications, no problem! I like going here but Im kind of intimidated because Im new to fishing. I walk in here and theres just tons of things I get a little overwhelmed. Ive talked to a couple of guys that work there and they were super helpful and made me feel comfortable. Thats why I keep going back.

This place is great. When I walked in, I noticed that it was not just a regular tackle store. They have everything!There seems to be a real rod shortage right now and I didnt feel that in this store. Picked up a Tallus with the help of the associate and am ready to go.The only thing is I wish this shop was open earlier as it would be my first stop when fishing in the morning. There are other bait shops that work, but I would love to support these guys with my bait needs as well.

I like this place because their only about fishing. I dont have to deal with any of the gun nuts. Plus you can actually find someone to help you which is great!

Best fishing supply store in OC bar none! Staff is excellent and they have the largest inventory of everything fishing related you can think of. Prices are excellent too. Eric the mgr and Matt are extremely helpful with fishing questions and suggestions to help anyone get whatever fish you going after. I have shopped many of the local shops but none compare to Longfin.

Google guides sent me an email asking me to review my recent places, specifically regarding covid 19 safety. Only one place stands out from my recent visits and it is this place... The longfin tackle shop. Almost none of their employees were wearing masks. There were customers not wearing masks too. While i was there, a bunch of teenage customers without masks who were running around touching everything, laughing and being obnoxious. I would still go to this store because it was a good tackle shop but i felt that an honest review was in order.

The best tackle shop in OC. Great selection for salt and freshwater expansive rod selection good reel selection including some used. Clothing and other gear as well. Staff is phenomenal they also will spool your reels and can do some rod and reel repair. Prices are high if compared to a Walmart or other big box stores but quality and selection make up for it.

Customer service is great. Felipe is always a Great help. Especially with my father inlaw that is disabled. He is good and we thank him so much. Over all the store is good need more stores like this around.

While looking for a tackle shop i came across, The Longfin. Read the reviews and decided to check it out myself. Lemme just say people werent wrong! I have shopped here for over twenty years. Always a great place to shop for all kinds of fishing gear. This place has everything I need to go fishing (bass fishing, trout fishing, or salt water fishing). They are also willing to take the time to teach new techniques, and how to use new gear.

Everyone there is great and very knowledgable. I had questions about top shot and Cody had the answers. Its like shopping in a candy store and you want one of everything. I had a chance to talk with Tom about some future trips. I love this place!!!

All in all one of the best tackle shops I’ve been in for either fresh or saltwater fishing.

Great store. Lots of fishing tackle. They have a section of all Shimano products alone. They carry all the major brands. Went in for a new rod and reel 2 hrs later came out with that plus a bag full of goodies.

Came by to pick up some last minute hear for a quick trip and had a great experience! One of the sales reps (not an employee of The Longfin) was there stocking up gear that he sells to the store and I struck up a quick conversation with him. Even though he doesnt officially work there he still took the time to help me out! Its a direct reflection on the business which Im sure is outstanding!

Eric and his staff run a well rounded shop and are able to answer questions regarding crappie, tuna, and everything in between. Large selection of fresh and salt water lures, rods, and reels. Also, they never push products on you but rather provide you with detailed information of why something may or may not fit your fishing needs.

These guys are nice and really helpful. They are terribly interested in wearing masks, which makes the experience more stressful than necessary, but that is the only negative I would say.

Very big selection of fresh water and salt water fidhing tavkle and clothing. The only reason is that I do not give it a 5 star rating is because the staff is not as helpful as my other primary tack ok e shop. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If the staff is asked a where to find a particular product they will point you in the correct position. Whereas my other favorite tackle shop will walk sprnd floor time with the customer assisting the customer to select/find the product the customer wishes to purchase. Their prices are very reasonable.

I always know what I am looking for and just grab what I need then checkout at the register, but the last two visits I have been getting attitude for no reason from the older employee, maybe owner. The other employees are great though. Never hassled or ever been rude to anyone because I do not talk to anyone during my visitations. 3 stars for tackle needs and prices only.

Always get pretty good deals here on most angling needs. Staff could use some classes on, is there anything we can help you find and a pleasant smile. I really like The Long Fin, been to that place at least a dozen times in the last two years, the guys know what there are talking about, always good service. I also like the fishing ambiance you find there, you can sit on the sofa if you want and listen to fishing stories. They have good deals too. The only problem is my wife doesnt like it when I go there, have to sneak out and hide the bills

Great fishing store for all your salt water needs. They have some bass fishing stuff. But its not as extensive as their salt selection. Staff is super knowledgeable on any type of local fishing, fresh or salt.

This tackle shop is huge. Havent been to anywhere that has more items than here yet in OC. It seems to me that only few workers actually know what they are selling and the rest were trying to make sales which was a bummer. Make sure to talk to the right person and he or she will give you the detailed answer. Price was not as cheap as buying from online but definitely cheaper than some of the local shops
