Anthony and staff displayed professionalism I havent seen in awhile for auto services. Him and the staff answered all my questions and I reciprocated with answers to theirs (basically a no BS assessment & approach). Downtime was reasonable and so were the costs ... they exceeded my expectations from drop off to pick up 👍I appreciate coming through for me and my fam 🙏

Rick, Manager and his team are great.Helped me with replacing transmission thermostates.Recently my battery was dead. He sent his technician to jump start my Jeep. Got me a good deal on battery, had it delivered to his shop.Rick calls around to people he knows to get lowest prices and best deals. He got me a 3 year battery, free replacement.He was done with installation in about an hour.Pricing is very reasonable and he is fair and honest. I will only go to his service pace now.

Ive been watching the businesses over the years from 2005 to present much like many other auto retail businesses. sorry thing is cottman bought the name but actual principal of cottman business not applied at these stores. good greif charlie brown. so guy with lots of money owns business.

Took them over four hours just to look at the car. I ended up taking my car to Fastrans. Car was diagnosed within 5 minutes. It was an easy fix. Fastrans took care of the repair for a great price.

They repaired my transmission in my truck. The price was reasonable and I havent had any problem with my transmission. A year later I thought they did a great job so I went back and they repaired my power steering pumped at a reasonable price all is good 👍

Had a engine red light appear and took my car to Anthony at Aamco. They looked at the engine found out what was wrong with it and did the work quickly and I was on my way the next day. Awesome job quick and very reasonable. I recommend everyone go to Aamco for all repairs small or large.

Aamco, Orange, was a very pleasant surprise. The general manager was professional, knowledgeable, and “up front” with my situation, and straightforward with my options. I especially appreciated his not trying to convince me which option I should take, but patiently explained what each one entailed, and discussed the pros and cons of each so I could make what I believed to be the best decision. I felt no pressure whatsoever! When the work was finished I was handed an itemized list which included everything agreed upon, and full explanations given. I will continue to recommend the Aamco Transmissions Center of Orange to all my friends, and since Aamco is a full-service facility, I will take my car to them for any future maintenance and repairs.

Sam in the office was very polite, she had eye contact the whole time. Gave me a firm hand shake when i arrived.

Took my 2006 GMC 1500 Sierra with 224,514 mi. to this place of business on 3.26.2019 because my transmission was slipping in drive and in 3rd gear. I picked it up on 3.29.2019,as promised by Jordan, and the Price/cost was as quoted and my trucks shifts like new. Thanks Jordan you guys are trust worthy and I will most likely have you install my upcoming re-manufactured engine.

I have been building and restoring cars for 15 years now, but sometimes there are jobs that I dont feel like doing for whatever reason.In this case, my Challenger needed a new rear main seal and since I didnt want to go through the trouble of dropping the transmission out myself, I went over to Aamco since they had done some work on my brothers cars in the past and he was always very happy with it.The manager, Sam, was very friendly and very helpful. She checked in with me several times to let me know how things were going, and when they ran into a couple of snags along the way (not Aamcos fault. Missing pin in the linkage from a previous owners repair), she was very up front about it and gave me several options on how to proceed.I received the car back exactly how I had dropped it off. Nothing out of place, dirty or missing. The leak is fixed and I am happy to enjoy my car again.Great service, great communication, great work and a great price! I shopped around on the price a little beforehand, and I got several quotes that were more than $300 higher than Aamco!I will definitely be back for any large jobs that I dont have the time or energy to do myself.

I brought my car in, they called a rental company but by the time I got to the rental company found it was a dealer issue. They offered to help me get back and have been extremely friendly without getting a dime from this service. I will certainly go back to this location when its something else.

DONT GO HERE!!! SCAM ARTISITS!!!!!Especially Jordan at AAMCO in orange took advantage of my father a couple of weeks ago. He not only quoted us a price to change the transmission that was DOUBLE what 2 other shops told us, but he yelled at my father and was very rude. My father had a stroke a couple of years ago that left him very soft spoken and slower in terms of speech. Jordan intimidated my father and made him very ill with his high pitch and rude behavior. When my sister and I tried to reach out to him he refused to release the car to my father without him paying an additional fee for storing the car! I urge you to take your business somewhere where you will be treated with kindness and respect!!

Ive had my car 15 years. I love my baby. Two weeks before I brought it in to AAMCO I was having trouble throwing it into reverse, and then the day I brought it in the problem expanded to first and second gear. I thought for sure it was the tranny finally going out on me. It only took the guys at AAMCO 10 minutes to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be loose linkage. They resolved the issue, and since transmission diagnosis at AAMCO is free now, I paid nothing. They also gave me estimates on a new clutch and transmission (when the time comes). Outstanding service.

I got my transmission fix at another aamco and it broke so it was still under warranty. So I took it here and they fix it and it took longer then I was told. And its been about 9 months And the transmission went out again with the same problem. I only drive truck to work witch is only 8 miles away from home. And I dont drive it all the time cause I have a motorcycle I take to. I ask to get it fix but they said no its out of Warranty. Witch they should stand behind there work. Why would I pay them again to fix it for a third time. No trust in aamcos work very pissed and disappointed

Took car here 3 separate times to fix a trans leak, 1st they said left seal, then right seal, then last some bearing. Last time I went in, I caught the guy doing his test drive, he left out of the parking lot then a U turn right back in, what a joke (sat in parking lot when it left garage)The owner looked shocked when I brought that up.They give you a day that it will be done, it will come and go without them calling you. Very unprofessional. Atleast call me and tell me its going to be delayed. I have a busy schedule and it was a headache trying to deal with these people.As a mechanic for air transportation, I find these people are horrible. They will try upselling every second they can get. Sell you stuff you dont need. I talked to a coworker of mine, he said he brought his van in a couple years ago and had them do a tranny rebuild. He said it didnt even last 6 months of light use, took it to an AAMCO in corona where he had good luck.To post this 1 star review wont bring my money back or fix my problem, but wanted to help future customers stay away from this location.

No matter what no matter where avoid Jordan at Amco an absolute scam artist tried to unplug sensors to get a check engine light to show up and charge me for new parts when it was a brand new TPS sensor

They could have really taken advantage of her. Out of state plates and stranded with mechanical problems.Justin actually went UNDER the estimate, didnt try to sell her unnecessary repairs, did great work, was very helpful and professional. Her car is running great !There are still some great people out there !!! It is also a great business principle (that I wish more business people would have the sense to use). We know a lot of people in the city of of Orange, and, of course they know where to take their car to get a very fair deal and great work, and they will ell their friends, and so on....Don Pentecost

Very professional and respectful. They listened to my concern about my transmission and advised me of how they would proceed through a systematic process to determine the problem starting with the least expensive solution first. We discussed what the possible problem could be before they did any work so I had an idea what to expect. They called back promptly to describe the problem and the cost to make the repair. Their cost was 1/3 of the initial cost estimate I got from the Goodyear repair shop that I have used for general maintenance in the past. These guys are pros! You can trust them.

Very professional and timely service. I had an appointment for my 07 Toyota Prius (yes, they can service the Prius transmission...for about 100 dollars LESS than the dealership.) at 9am. When I arrived, the fellow at the desk told me that they had a few cars that were unexpectedly left over from the day before, and the wait time might end up being 3 to 4 hours longer. My only option was to wait. About an hour and a half later; however, they had my car ready to go--just about as long as the original quoted time. Yes, they do get busy, but they are transmission specialists.
