I received a quote for a truck that was one price including estimated mileage but when i went to pick up the truck and return it the price was triple what i was quoted online! I ended up getting it anyway because i was desperate but I will be using uhaul next time i need a truck! As a customer on a budget the steep prices truly hurt my pocket! Never renting from Penske again!

I have called three different times and spoke to 4 different employees. Non of which took my information down or reserved my truck like they said they were doing. Then when I paid for my truck rental yesterday $272 including deposit and truck rental I kept the receipt. The employee this morning tells me I have not paid. So I show him my receipt. He proceeds to make a few phone calls and tells me that they voided my transaction at 11:38 at night. When they were closed. I assure you that the money came out of my account and I have a receipt to prove the payment. I ask what’s going on and why would they void it? The employee tells me he doesn’t know, he’s being loud and rude with ME. When it’s clearly a mistake made by another employee. So now I’ve been here and hour and still no resolution or answers to what’s going on. I’m supposed to be moving this morning. Moving can be stressful enough without companies adding more stress.Now they’re trying to figure out why I paid for my truck when it’s not in their computer system.If you’re moving go somewhere else to rent a truck because these people have no idea what their doing. I should’ve ran when I had to call three separate times to get my reservation put in.All they have is my reservation Info, not my payment or anything else.BAD BUSINESS. Go somewhere else.Will update when they’ve fixed my issue.EDIT: I did call customer service. Connor stated that his admin team isn’t in today so they would give me a call back tomorrow with an “update”. He said they’re not showing payment information on their end. However, again, I have all my paperwork and receipt.It’s not been OVER two weeks with no refund on my deposit or answers to what has happened.Terrible company with terrible customer service. GO ELSEWHERE.
