Every thing was going just fine until we went to the self checkout line. A rude worker ( white, 50+, black haired, women) denied us to purchase alcohol when my 22 year old brother scanned the beer. She said because he was unable to provide his ID, we could not purchase the alcohol. My dad stated that he was over the age of 50 and that he would be the one purchasing the items we were PLANNING to by. She took the beer. So my dad went to get another case and told us to bring the things we did purchase back to the car and wait. We went but when he came back he did not have the case of beer with him. He told us that she did not allow him to get another case of beer. This may just be policy and we understand that however the base and rudeness in her voice was unnecessary. She needs to take it down three notches cause we are not the one.

I gave this Walmart 3 stars, because they only have 1 checkout that a real person, that works for Walmart operates. Everything else is self checkout and half of them does not work. The store is very crowded. The parking lot is full of buggies unattended to, so its hard to park. The customer service sucks, I would rather talk to a machine. But it is Walmart and they do have everything you need. Thank you.

I really love Walmart you can find everything you need in one spot even though I am from opelousas I like to visit different Walmarts I especially like the one in Eunice It has such a homely feel to it.I really dont like shopping anywhere else.

Organized, and well stocked. It was very clean and thats a plus considering whats happening in our society today. Efficient check out time and the cashier was delightful. I will be pleased to frequently come to this location.

Checkout was slow almost 30 minutes with wait in line. It seems like they want to direct people to self checkout and better grab a cart in the parking lot for none in the store. Have notice at many Walmart stores no carts to grab in the store lately. I read a few years ago that the owners of Walmart made 1 billion in profits each, I guess they are now going for 2 billion. I now do lot more of my more of my shopping at local grocery stores. Cost a little more but you see a lot of more people working and in an out much quicker.

I really dont like this location.. it is just convenient, employees are nice. The shelves are never stocked. Always have to go to other Walmarts to find what I need.

You know.. its Wal-Mart. Whats to be expected? My issue was the self check out machines dont accept cash (which is ridiculous) and there is only 1 register that you can go to so you can use your cash.. and the line was long and the cashier was slower than molasses. I didnt have a cart, I had 4 items; and it took 35 minutes to get checked out. If the self check out machines accepted cash, this would be a different review. 👎🏻

I would put a higher rating except for the simple fact of some of the employees are unexceptionally rude, half of the products arent labeled with a price and lets not even talk about the part where it comes to you paying them....... Which is what keeps the doors open, products being sold, so kind of dumbfounded as to why every Walmart has a lack of cashiers.

Wouldnt sell me my alcohol even though me and my colleague presented our Id say she cant sell to anyone who had been drinking already and I informed her I just got off work

I went in the store a couple of times because my curvside order still was not ready. however when I fet get my order, everything was in my order like it should be and the clerk was very kind. Thia was my first time really using walmart pickup. And yes I will continue to shop at a Walmart online and in store because the perks are great!

I just Love my local Wal-Mart.. I do all of my shopping here, most times.. only thing is that since *Covid-19, the hours have changed quite a bit.. I used to do all of my shopping late night or early early morning hours; since the virus, the closing hour has changed to 11:00pm.. and that has really got me bummed out, I used to frequent this store as often as I could not anymore.. I only wish that they would go back to having it open 24 hours the way that it used to be, back before all of the virus and all of my store hours that I like to shop have changed..

I dont always have a bad time at Walmart but this on Ive had quite a few. Associates seem very uninterested in assisting customers, no one knows where anything is, and the management team addresses everything in a very accusing manner.

Came in today to have a two year old battery checked. Three people in tire shop without anyone waiting. Waited 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging or making eye contact with me. Set battery down and went in automotive dept. and had one lady waiting on a customers and finally getting her attention to have her help me she stated I had to go back outside and wait for someone to help me. I stopped one of the garage employees and asked him to check the battery for me and he told me to go and stand outside and wait for someone else. I left and went to Aurozone and immediately got help and a new battery. Will never do business in Opelousas store again and don’t know if I’m going to keep my Walmart credit and gas card. Fed up!!!

I wasnt able to type my review for the hair salon. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT, APPOINTMENTS DONT COUNT. I HAD A 2 PM APPOINTMENT, AND WAS PUT ASIDE FOR A WALK IN FRIEND.

Staff is helpful when not super busy. Usually knows where things are when asked. Only issues is the bathrooms are kinda dirty with paper towels on the floor or no toilet paper sometimes but they have been getting better with the virus going around.

Store is OK, shelves were not stocked and stuff was everywhere. Nice customer service people.

The number of cashiers and check out scanners are irrelevant. At 10:15 pm today one check lane was working 30 shoppers waiting in line.No scanners open. I did what the three people behind me did, walked out the store. As a courtesy to manager I tried calling the store to notify him or her of the problem. Three phone calls, beginning at 10:30 pm, pressing the option 0 to talk with a staff member went unanswered..Oh well, no one there to even answer the phone to hear why people are leaving baskets in line and walking out the store.Greatly disappointed once again. Why not use the expensive self check you installed? Surly u could find one competent associate to teach how to monitor the self check and let some customers out quick.

Whew chile. Lets just say that some locations are better than others. You be the judge. Personally the Walmart in my hometown is not my favorite.

I use Walmart pickup often and their customer service is great! Always friendly and smiling faces coming to your car. I love the service. The shoppers are awesome with getting you what you need and if its not in stock they substitute pretty well. Also, check in on the app before you arrive and they are almost always ready and waiting for you. I had a few bad experiences, its not always perfect but the good outweighs the occasional mishaps. Overall, great job guys!

Looking for and found a particular and specific spray paint. Even bought a gallon of windshield washer fluid while instore. Checked out thru garden center which had a real walking/breathing human at t he register.

Front Customer Service is Awesome.

Placed a grocery pickup order, scheduled it for 4pm to 5pm. Order was ready before 4pm. When I arrived, I put in the required info & waited less than 5 minutes. The associate was very nice & she explained my substitutions which were minor, so it was okay even though I had removed 2 of the substituted items.

I went in, got what I needed, and checked myself out. No problems.

This Wal-Mart discourages overnight parking by playing an announcement over a speaker which interrupts sleep. They might have a good reason. I dont know. Ive stayed overnight in this parking lot almost every year since it opened and I didnt notice any problem but it has been two years since Ive been here this time. Young people are ruining a good thing at many Walmarts.

This is our favorite place for all our needs. The next store to supply all our needs for this price at this quality wins! LoL,jk. Whatever is convenient,so WalMart winning.

Went once 2 weeks ago and twice last week to try to get my hair trimmed- the same girl in the salon turned me away all 3 times on different days with an attitude, saying that the salon was full (but there were only about 2 -3 people in there waiting each time.) 🙄

Its a Walmart, just like every other Walmart youve ever been to.

Staff is not as courteous as the neighborhood market. Store is always busy and it is not always easy to find employee help when it is needed. The stockers dont rotate stock, so the store ends up having to throw alot of product away.

I love the selection of clothing for toddlers. Last week I spent 70 dollars on clearance summer clothes and nothing i bought was more than 3 dollars. Most everything I bought was actually 1 dollar. I came out with 3 pairs of pants, 7 tutus of all colors, 7 shirts, and 4 pairs of shorts so id say i was a happy camper.

Had scary experience when I had to park to rest after driving 650 miles. Man approached my car asking for money. Could not rest after that. Stayed awake til daylight so I could leave.The stores always request if you need to stay overnight park away from the main entrance. No more walmart overnight for me
