The customer service is horrible. Rented a pressure with the driveway attachment, but I was not able to use the attachment. I called an hour before rental was due and told them that I couldnt crank it. The handle broke and I got tired of fighting it. I didnt mind paying for the 4 hour rental for the pressure washer even though I had problems with it, but I did not feel it was right to charge me for an attachment I couldnt use.

Their prices are decent. They furnish good store transportation for the disabled. Their flowers and plants we bought are much better than the ones at Lowes.

Home Depot has pretty much everything. I wouldnt give it 4 stars just cause they happened to not have what i needed. Theyre very well equipped and they have friendly people to help you find it.

I was able to find my item on the app. It gave me the location by aisle and bay. I easy got my items and made my purchase. Checkout was quick and easy. I also got my military discount by showing my identification.

My husband and I were there last night. We were making several purchases for home improvements. We had questions aboutsome of our items, trying to make sure we were getting the correct items and hadinteractions with about six employees. They were all so helpful and friendly. I wasextremely impressed. Kudos to this store!!

Just not the same when once upon a Time you could ask someone to help you at Home Depot and they would be a millionaire. Youre lucky to find anybody now who knows their own name.

I would normally give one star due to my recent experience with the pro desk. I went there on Friday, waited for an hour, no one showed up, even though a kind staff member announced a couple of times. I am told they will be there on Saturday, then I left. When I went on Saturday, no one was at pro desk, and it turns out they are not there over the weekends. Eventually I went today (Tuesday morning) and the lady there was very helpful, so I changed my one star to two, just because of the nice lady there today.

My husband and I purchased a lawn mower at the Home Depot in Opelika, Alabama. The box was opened, but the lady working in the department said, “I have checked everything in the box and it is perfect. It was just opened in transition.” My husband and I purchase the mower and get it home to begin putting it together. What should we discover! The ha flew on the mower is bent so badly the metal is cracked and breaking. We pack everything back up, with plans to exchange it the following day. I call the store to tell them what happened and to ask if they would hold another of the same model mower. They place me on hold, where I remain for almost 30 minutes, only to be hung up on. I call back, have to explain the situation again, and once again am placed on hold and hung up on. I try one more time, only to go through the entire process again and get hung up on. My husband and I have always used Home Depot, but at this point, we will be shopping at elsewhere. Beyond ridiculous and extremely rude!

Went to Lowes to get a Metal Shear which they had told me they had 3 in stock price of 58.99. Got there they couldnt find them. They checked for me at Home Depot and of course they had them and in stock. When I got over there they said they had one and they couldnt find them. I drove 40 miles round trip to get this item. So I am not happy. They need to keep things updated online and in house. Extremely unhappy.

Usually we get the help we need but not today. All we got was a state like we were not there. And we do major business with this store. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. God bless

Not enough employees to help you but we found what we needed. Had to check out our purchases by ourselves and had to wait for someone to measure our wood. When the employee got there she was rather rude when I explained the wood needed to be measured so we could finish checking out.

I had previously contacted Home Depot about a window replacement quote. Made the appointment, confirmed it and they totally blew it off. I thought I would try again, made the appointment, received a phone call confirming the time and now just received a call that they didn’t know what time they would be coming. This is only 1.5 hours before they are meant to come. Twice now I have arranged my day around them and twice they have messed up. If this is just to get the quote, if I decide to go with them I would hate to see what getting the work actually done would be like. You would think they want the business.

Rude staff, doesnt have items in quantity listed on their webpage, and it takes having to track down multiple staff members to even get someone to come and tell you they dont see what you are wanting, and refuse to offer any kind of help. Doesnt speak well of Home Depot, but it is ok, I went across the street to Lowes and was able to get a better quality grill for a better price.

The young man in hardware that assisted me with a simple 25 ft chain gave off the vibe that I was inconveniencing him. I checked out at customer service. Customer service staff was awesome. Not so much the young man who assisted me in hardware.

We asked two different associates where outlet child proof covers were. Each directed us to an aisle they were not on. A vendor took pity on us and directed us to the aisle with childproof essentials.

I needed help with the IIC and STC ratings for LVP and Kaitlyn was incredibly helpful in trying to get that information. Ultimately after about 30 minutes of trying to help us by researching on the HD site and vendor site, she indicated she would need to consult with Robbie Speed. It was 5:00 pm and Robbie introduced himself and he said if we didn’t want to wait he would research further since the vendor was closed. There were multiple people lined up needing assistance so we left. I assumed it would days if we heard anything at all since no one knew about IIC and STC ratings. Robbie Speed was quite speedy with his call. He called 20 minutes later and then sent us the information we needed. I am so impressed with the customer service in flooring at HD.

Dont order and expect Curbside pick up. Took almost an hour to get 1 bottle of Amdro delivered to my car. After I tried texting them I called on the phone and it took 20 minutes for anybody to answer the phone. Order from Lowes for curbside pickup if your handicap.

Checked on line for a pressure washer. Said they had it in this store. Drovec40 miles. Did not have it in stock. Same for lowes. So I came home bought it from Amazon. Next day delivery. Why does HD not stock. ?

Anything you could possibly need for home improvement at this location. Staff is specialized to the area they work in and more than happy to give tips or answer any questions you may have. If they dont know then they have no problem finding answers for you. Fair pricing and large selection you wont find anywhere else. Quality garden and good plant selection with healthy plants. They can also be returned if you are not satisfied. Definitely recommend home Depot over Lowes. Wonderful appliance area and you can rent a truck for the day

Kathleen Mitchell is a phenomenal employee. She has helped me with my kitchen remodel over and over again, always with a pleasant attitude. She always returns our calls and gets the information we need. She is by far the greatest Home Depot employee Ive ever had contact with.

I am really frustrated.Last week I had a contractor from mill works come out to measure and give me a quote for a new front door. He said Home Depot would call, but if they didnt, to call them. SOOOO..... I have been calling opelika store, mill works since 800 am, all day, trying to speak to someone in millworks to get the quote.. Just one recording after another with stretches of hold time. Finally I called tool rental, they picked, up and put me back into sea of voice recordings. It has been 8 hours of calling, with no response.

He didnt want to help me and when I had a problem with my purchase he didnt want to help me correct the issue, not only that but he also asked two of the other gentlemen if they would like to save $25 by opening up a credit card but I wasnt given the same opportunity!!! DISCRIMINATION ( much) I have also tried calling the Store manager and supervisor but I was told that they couldnt be located......

Quick and easy

Drove 40 minutes to the Home Depot in Opelika, AL, on 8/15/20 to purchase a shelving unit. Their website said they had seven in-store but upon arrival the bin was empty. After searching they found nine of them on a pallet stored up high two isles over. They then told me it would be 30 to 45 minutes before they could get them down with a forklift. I had already been there 30 minutes. I left without making a purchase. Why werent these already on the floor? Poor service! Period!!!

Normally I would give them a good review, but half the employees were not wearing masks, and they werent sanitizing the scanners between customers. Not okay! Lots of older people in there who are at risk.

Its hone depot great associates always willing to help or answer questions when they can or help find the correct information you need if they can. Always polite and seem to honor and appreciate the customer. I dont think you can go wrong unless you prefer the Lowes only products. I myself love both and generally prefer the home depot.

Worst retail experience ever. Never order doors/windows from Home Depot (specifically Opelika, AL) I ordered a custom sliding door and several windows for a renovation. The door came in damaged and had to reorder which put me behind on the project. I was called and emailed that the windows were in several times so i made trips to pick them up only to find that they were not at the store. One of the windows finally showed up and it was damaged. The re-ordered slider finally came in and was again damaged. The store is refusing to refund the money for the second damaged slider. They are telling me that they are having the manufacturer warranty it but the manufacturer is not responding. Absolutely terrible customer service and unprofessional handling of a situation that HD is responsible for. I have called the last 3 days in an attempt to speak to a manager. After over an hour on hold each day, I am going to just let an attorney handle it. Completely ridiculous. Now I have a damaged door that I cant use and HD refuses to stand behind it.

Got a storage shelf for kitchen and it was easy to assemble and has tons of storage(can hold over 4000 lbs)for less than $80..very happy

One thing they could improve on is quality of lumber, however that is just about everywhere these days. Stop by! Great selection of beautiful plants, too.
