My father and I ordered breakfast sandwiches at the Ontario Airport location a few weeks ago. Service was slow but not awful. Workers not friendly but not awful. That stuff definitely needs improvement but didnt bother us that much. What got us was the so-called egg on the sandwiches. The only way I can think to describe it is powdered egg mixed with gelatin to form this weird, flavorless, odd textured thing. It was horrible! There is no reason they should be serving this Jello jiggler of an egg. We both removed the egg from our sandwiches and ate only the meat and cheese and only because we were hungry. Really disgusting and disappointing, especially for the price; we expected fresh eggs. My husband got his sandwich across the hall at Dunkin who served real, fresh eggs. Should have gone there.

Parsimonious serving of smoked salmon on the bagel. I had a good experience at the Pensacola location, so I thought I would have a similar experience. I was disappointed. If you look at the photo of the bagel with lox that the management posted on this website vs. what I was served, I felt cheated.

Why is it 5:30AM and there are only two workers in the store and literally over 20 people in mine and about 5 waiting for their orders to be prepared. The two people are working as hard as they can, but management needs to have better planning capabilities. They did eventually get 2 more people and line went much faster

Had a 10 am flight with my son. Only place opened for food was this place. My son was hungry and the pick eater he is wanted the pizza bagel and a hot chocolate. I get the register and order only to be told they arent serving either yet its on the menu. Super frustrated by the rude cashier, a woman from behind her that was prepping the food came up and kindly said I will make you the pizza bagel. (I am guessing she is a mom herself). For her random act of kindness I was more than happy to hand that woman over a tip.I ordered a bacon and cheddar bagel and on a 5 star scale, I am rating it a 1.5. The fact it was the only food other than snack at nearby shops in the airport gives it 1.5. It was tasteless. I also ordered the White Mocha and it tastes like straight black coffee. Rating a 1.I would highly recommend NOT wasting your money on this place at the Ontario airport or any other airport they maybe in.

I ordered the lox bagel and a medium coffee. It was a decent bagel. Could have used more lox, capers and cream cheese but the friendly service was appreciated by me.

Refused cash because of Covid. But, have a tip jar almost in your face with....cash in it. I think management needs to remove this if they truly aren’t accepting cash.

The service and quality of food is exactly what you would expect from an unmanned toaster at a gas station. I stood at the automated kiosk for 8 or 9 min before I was even acknowledged, then when I finished waiting on myself my food was not what I expected. I ordered a PB and j bagel. I got a plain bagel and a condiment pack of jelly and peanut butter. I really didnt pay 12 dollars for a bagel and a drink to assemble it myself. Sad. To what I can only assume is the automated reply I got - the details including location and picture are in this review. 4 people behind the counter 0 speaking to the customers, also eating chips and not washing hands before handling food. Is there a way to put less than 1 star?

Customer service was awful. Lead cashier Shermaine was Rude and had a bad attitude. Not the kind of person I would expect to work at Einstein Bros. Bagels. Food was good.

Their kiosk works really well. Its great at letting you order and pay for food they wont serve you. Got my sandwich missing my extra egg, and after asking about by lemonade they told me they didnt have the kind I ordered and was stuck taking something off the shelf. Dont waste your money. If you like Einsteins this place doesnt live up.

Dont waste your money here. I bought a half dozen bagels as I was hungry and wanted to share some with my family when I flew back home. Stale and dry. Definitely not worth the $11.29 I was charged for 6 bagels. I know it is an airport, but these had to be at least 1-2 days old as they were not good. I wont be going back.

Very slow and incompetent workers. Always open late (15-20 minutes late). It seems that they don’t care about their customers and don’t have any consideration that we have a flight to catch. Not good.

I ordered a bagel (not a sandwich, just a bagel) from the electronic kiosk and was expecting a good experience. The employees then proceeded to ignore our order until they were done helping 2 other customers. After that, things only got worse. The employees acted very put out that we only got a bagel and after about 5 minutes, they very begrudgingly asked what bagel we wanted. When it was done toasting, they gave it to us while rolling their eyes and showing no respect. Just this would probably warrant a 1 star review but it got even worse. Our bagel came with a selection of different cream cheeses but instead of receiving that, we got just a plain bagel with no cream cheese. I should give Einstein Bros. Bagels 0 stars if I could and should avoid it at all costs.

Really disappointed in Einstein in that they wouldnt let me fill up my own coffee mug. Im trying to be good and reduce my waste and they cant fill it up. Not going to go to this Einsteins again.

Serious training is needed. A long line to make orders that take 30 seconds. The casheirs have no idea how to be efficient. Usually at least one person is standing around. Refrigerator is half empty. Some bagels are out by 7 am. Coffee is usually near empty or some are empty. Bagels have no where near enough cream cheese.

Place is a bit of a mess. All tables are dirty. I never saw anyone come out to clean or straighten. Service is slow. Food is ok when options are limited. I was a little disappointed. I was anticipating much better. The layout of the place is crazy. The online order kiosk is at the counter so you still have to wait in line while people choose to use the cashier. This makes for a long wait even when its not really busy.

MY BAGEL DIDNT EVEN HAVE A HOLE IN IT!! WHATS THE POINT?? Also they have self order kiosks but they put them right next to the normal register, so you cant see them until youre already standing in line and its an awkward set up. The self order kiosks should be in a different part of the store. But the bagel with no hole was still good just not great without hole. Fast service.

Working at the airport is not always a plus when it comes to finding good food, but I love bagels. I am happy with my food i got the sesame bagel with cream cheese paid about 3.16 for it. So my 1 star is for customer service Shermaine was just horrible did not speak to me but once to swipe my card. I work in customer service and I cant imagine how she treats our airline customer. So disappointed please work on your customer service.

This place is the WORST. They are always out of everything. Once they sold me coffee even though they were out of cream and I said I wanted room for cream. Another time I waited on line to find out they only had got bagels with fruit or chocolate in them. Today I tried to order 3 separate breakfasts and each was out. I’ve never had a positive experience here

Been here 2 times, a month apart and both experiences have been horrible. The makers always look lost, missed orders, out of coffee, out of utensils, line blocks passage to dining, 20-30 min wait and that is not exaggerating. Note, this is just in the mornings so Im sure it gets better as the day goes on, I hope. Unfortunately, this airport does not have many other choices for coffee and breakfast treats. Carls Jr is the other choice, Coffee Bean closed down!

Am extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the drinks here at the Einstein at the Ontario Airport. First of all, I came in with a great attitude into the store excited to get my drink, when I came up to register I stumbled upon an upset looking employee who did not even bother to greet me. I said hi and she did not even respond back and just gave me an unwelcoming look, so I shrugged it off and asked her if they had any soy milk and she said “yea its on the menu” in a very rude tone. Even if it is on the menu, as an employee you should always answer a customers questions without an attitude. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla. Was not asked if I wanted the receipt nor given one after I paid because she left the register as soon as I swiped my card. I saw her making my drink and she looked as if she did not know what she was doing. The pump of the syrup was not working so instead of fixing the pump she decided to free hand the pour of the syrup. When she finished she said “theres your drink” and I said thank you. Never once was I rude to her and I expect Einstein to have good customer service since I have been to plenty others with great customer service. As a barista myself, I always answer customer questions kindly and try to be helpful with any questions they may have. I went in on March 29, 2019 at around 8pm and It was a younger hispanic women. Customer service training needs to be given to this young lady along with training on how to make drinks. Emphasis on training on how to speak to people.

I noticed the customer in front of me. She ordered a smoothie and was overcharged $4, which means the customer was charged double. As for myself, I did not receive my full order and needed to ask twice. Was told I needed to go back to the cashier. With the amount of staff on hand, I thought that was unnecessary. Employee training is greatly needed.

Wow ! Went to the airport this morning early and asked what time they open. They said 4am. So, by 4:15 I peeked in and one lady (dont know her name but she was African american is all I know) was leaning over the bagel counter eating somthing and sucking the food off of her fingers. Then she had the nerve to said open the doors so this guy doesnt have a heart attack not only was she super rude but she was disgusting (she DID NOT WASH HER HANDS). It takes alot for me to leave a review. Absolutely terrible employee. I want eagerly pacing around or anything. Just simple standing outside the entrance patiently waiting. This lady gives this Einstein Bagels a read bad reputation in my book and Ill be sure to tell everyone I know. Lost my buisness for life.Eric W.

The one star reviews of this place are all on point. Service was abysmal and slow. The kiosks were at the head of the line, the bagels were stale, and the coffee was so hot as to be undrinkable. One star is too high!
