Just hours into an 8,000 mile car trip, we had a “check engine” light come on in our Chrysler 300. After deciding we’d drive to the next town, we limped into Ontario several hours later and had the good fortune to stop at Ontario Auto Ranch to see if they could help. As soon as we pulled into the service bay, we lost a great deal of our engine oil and knew we were in trouble. But an incredible service tech named Rey diagnosed our considerable problem, ordered and received parts from a nearby parts store, disassembled and reassembled our engine and even cleaned the oil off the engine compartment and undercarriage. Even without an appointment, Rey’s kindness (he recommended a place for us to have lunch, but skipped his own to work on our car), competence and efficiency got us back on the road in record time and rescued our trip. We are grateful that this dealership stepped in when we were in trouble and pulled out all the stops to repair our car problems - many thanks to Rey and the crew at Ontario Auto Ranch for saving our vacation!

I wanted to buy the cladding for my Challenger. Its the black plastic trim that goes on the side of the car under the door. The lady in the parts department said it would be over $600! I asked her for the part number and she said she couldnt give it to me because of some confidential thing.... Its a part number.... This is information you could look up online.... Ive never had them deny giving me a part number at this same store with other reps. I just called the Nampa Dodge dealer and got the part number from them without any issues. I also called the Caldwell and Boise Dodge dealers to see if it would be any cheaper and they also gave me the part number....

The good: The day of the sale was easy and the salesman was friendly.The bad: ... I have been unable to drive my brand new truck for almost 2 weeks now due to the dealer sending wrong info to our DMV, and them promising to overnight us a new temporary tag day after day. We have called multiple times to sort out the issue and are met with a sincere “we’ll get right on that” or “it’ll be sent by the end of the day”. For reference, we called to request a new tag (since they still haven’t sorted out our plates with the DMV) on the Jan 29th, and it’s now Feb 12th and no temp tag. I’ll leave the name(s) of those we’ve worked with out for now, but the info is here if needed backed up by call logs. I’d expect a dealer to be able to handle simple tags, but we’re left with one usable car for weeks as we get empty promises again and again.Update: It’s now March 13 - no license plates and our 2nd temporary tag is about to expire. To be clear - only a portion of this is the DMVs fault, the dealer has sent incorrect information twice now, in which it then has to be sent back across the country to try again. Additionally, we are constantly reminding the dealer to coordinate. Usually they say the DMV didn’t answer... the one time they called a week ago. It’s insane that we’ve had to be the mediators when you pay the dealer to handle your tags. Horrible waste of money, wish we would have done it ourselves and never dealt with the dealer. The dealer also said last week they probably can’t get me another temporary tag by the time it expires... here we go again with an unusable BRAND NEW car.They don’t respond to messages left and the one person that can handle tags is rarely available.We bought the truck in OCTOBER... it’s almost been half a year and they are still unable to handle tags.

First of all, I live approximately 4 hours away from this dealership so email is the preferred option for making a deal. I do not want to make the drive only to see that numbers have changed and games be played. What I asked for was an out-the-door price that shows ALL FEES calculated into the price. Fair request I believe.. All I received was the price but no formal proposal with all fees itemized. When I asked the salesman to provide what I asked for, he told me you cant get that info unless you are physically at the dealership. Great way to do business! I will spend my money where I dont have to deal with games.

I called on 2/15/21 and was told he was unavailable, but that my message would be passed on to him. 9 days later, I still have not received a call back. Clearly poor customer service runs deep, from Salesperson all the way to the General Manager, at Ontario Auto Ranch.

Took my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500(89,577 miles) into this dealership Monday June 7th, 2021. Because the Electric Throttle Control light came on and the vehicle was shuddering. I suggested that it needed a throttle body replacement. On inspection of my paperwork I saw that they didnt even check to see if the throttle body as a whole part was working properly. Even though I suggested it. They suggested that it was a ETC sensor, exhaust manifold bolts were broken, rear Diff needed replaced and a power steering flush. I trusted these people to make my truck better. Taking it to my mechanic here in Nampa this morning to get the oil changed, the ETC came on again and now the truck wont turn over. When I called this Dealership they told me to get it there so they can get it in. It dosent run and they even didnt offer to have it towed. I spent almost $1400, dont have my truck and this dealership wont make it right. I have three kids and limited mobility. This truck has been well maintained for its entire life and now its a lawn ornament.***update* they towed and fixed the issue took two weeks but they got it done!

My husband and I drove to Ontario on our way home to Boise back from a week stay in Bend. We saw a truck on their website that we wanted at an amazing price and Craig helped us hold the truck so we could swing by and buy it on our way home. We had a terrible experience recently with one of the big Fairview car dealers and our experience with this dealer couldn’t be more different. Craig was honest, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the Ram trucks, we test drove it and bought it on the spot. Everyone from Craig to Daniel the finance manager were genuine and welcoming, no upsell or pressure to buy, I would highly recommend them and would buy my next truck from them again in a heartbeat. I came to look at a vehicle and tried to negotiate a trade and purchase. It was after closing for them, so we agreed to get back to each other the next day. They would get back to me on an exact dollar value for my trade in. I emailed the salesman later the next day since I had not heard back from the sales manager about my trade. The following morning I text the salesman and let him know about my email, and that Id like to get a deal put together. It was then that I got an emailed response that the truck was sold the morning prior. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed. I dont think it was a professional way to handle this, but I guess getting sales is more important than establishing relationships.

DO NOT visit this establishment for any advertised price without calling ahead to make sure it is correct. Just devoted most of my day test driving and evaluating a vehicle only to be told AFTER that the REAL price despite what I had right on my phone and printed from their website was about 16K higher than advertised. Speaking to the manager was not very useful as he -this is a quote- wanted educate me as to how this was not bait and switch and proceeded to read fine print to me. He could use a course on how not to insult a potential customer that you have already clearly insulted.

Luis in the service department has been very helpful these last couple months. We had some battery issues and some shifter issues but everytime I took it too Luis he made sure to get things fixed. He offered me a loaner car when I would be without mine for a day and even after he fixed the vehicle he wanted to make sure it worked properly and had me shift it in front of him. Thanks again Luis for all your help!

For those considering the Ontario Auto Ranch, I want to share my shopping experience. After locating the truck in their inventory, I worked with both the sales associate Angel and his manager Sherman. I live in Northern California and about 600 miles from their Ontario Oregon location. Both Sherman and Angel made the buying experience easy. Between email, texts and phone calls, a loan app was completed, the price was provided and all that I had to do was provide my flight details and hotel information to arrange for a pickup from the Boise area.I highly recommend the Ontario Auto Ranch to others considering purchasing from out of state.

They were very up front with their pricing in our emails back and forth. When we got to the dealership there were NO surprises. Very smooth transaction. My 2020 Wide Body Challenger Hellcat is the 4th Challenger model I have bought from this dealership, although the dealership has changed names several times. The entire staff is very personable and it is always a pleasure to deal with any of them, whether it be in Sales, Sevice or the Parts Department. I ordered this Hellcat through Sherman Murray, the Sales Manager at Ontario Auto Ranch. My whole experience during this buying process was hassle free, as was the signing of the sales paperwork when I took delivery of the Hellcat. If you are in the market for a new or used Mopar product, I would most definitely recommend that you give the Ontario Auto Ranch a chance to get you taken care of.

Total scam artists. Arrogant finance managers, rude salesmen and terrible customer service. If you want ripped off, scamed and scrutinized then this is the place to go. They refuse to negotiate saying we are a one price dealership so dont waste our time, after they tack on extra charges and refuse to pay their own dealer fees. First Ive seen that! They do not appreciate when you come in already approved by your bank. Ive bought several cars and NEVER had an experience like this. Sad to say this is our second time we decided to give them a shot. Wish we would have learned our lesson the first time 3 years ago when we walked out too. In the future I will be taking the extra time to drive to Dennis Dillon. I dropped off my 2013 Jeep Wrangler yesterday 11/23 for the airbag recall appointment at 11 am. The gentleman stated the Jeep would be done around lunchtime. No later than 2 ish in my eyes. The service department closes at 3. The gentleman said he would call me before they closed to let me know where he left my keys. I never received a phone call so I called the sales department around 6:30pm to ask if they had put my keys in my Jeep. The guy who answered told me that they didn’t have any white jeeps on there lot at all and that I had the wrong dealer and I told him that somebody must’ve stole it. Today, 11/24 I drove by to make sure my Jeep was actually on the lot and didn’t get stolen. It was there, my keys were not put out anywhere, nor did they even have the decency to lock my Jeep. Thankfully nothing was stolen. Now I have no vehicle to take to work tomorrow. They turned a very simple fix into a problem. The only good thing I have to say is they got me in fast and the guy was polite.

Not sure how their in person experience is. Their web inquiry experience is horrible.I dropped an inquiry to them via CarGurus. First noted, was that they took careful attention to raise the price on the vehicle before responding to me.They did connect me with a salesperson. I asked a very simple and specific question about the car, and did not get a response. The next day I got an email from said salesperson asking if I had any more questions about the car (but no answer to my question). When I replied in puzzlement, I got a reply/apology that it was an automated email, and they could get a manager to help me with my questions.Come on dealers--- it is nearly 2020. Why are we still using these ANNOYING automated email systems that strip the personal service and attention out of the experience? And why cant your dealers respond to a simple question about fees without getting a manager involved?I was told to stay away from this dealer - should have listened.

We just purchased a new Ram 2500 diesel from Ontario Auto Ranch. It was the best and easiest vehicle purchase we have ever made. The internet sales manager, Craig Kendall, was quick to respond to our email and verify inventory. After test driving Craig was able to work out a fair price and get us a trade in value that was acceptable. We did not have time to stay and work a deal and I wasnt sure about the color we had asked them for after I saw it. We saw a different truck showing in their inventory in a color we both agreed we liked. My husband sent an email requesting inventory check and asked them if they could extend the same deal for the different truck. We got word it was a go and headed down to purchase. Truck was cleaned and ready to go, there was no changing the numbers as often happens when the paperwork is put through and the finance process was the quickest and most efficient we have ever experienced. We highly recommend this dealership and their excellent and very pleasant staff.

The service manager had my truck on the rack in 5 minutes, Hector the technician diagnosed the problem in 20 minutes and we were back on the road in 2 hours. I am an out of state buyer and ordered a Jeep Rubicon with Craig. The process was extremely easy, the price was great, and the service excellent. I sent Craig an e-mail with the options I wanted, he got back to me quickly with a very competitive price, and I made a credit card deposit over the phone. A few week later the Jeep arrived and it was just as I had ordered. There were no surprise cost additions. When I pick up the Jeep there was no pressure to purchase an extended warranty or any other options. Everything was good. Good financing. The only problem was that we were led to believe that I had navigation installed, it does not! Navigation costs $600 extra. We were also led to believe we could down load apps to the main screen, apps are no longer available... go figure! My rating would be more like 4.75 stars,(because of the lack of navigation we thought was installed, and lack of app downloads), but it wont let me do 4.75. My car broke down near Ontario Or and I had it towed to the service department at Ontario Auto Ranch. I suspected the engine had blown. I had no previous experience with them and didnt know what to expect.John in service had his technician look at the car and didnt charge me to confirm my suspicions. They gave me an honest estimate to fix it (I know because I got a couple of competitive estimates) and when I decided it wasnt worth it he found a salvage yard and brokered the exchange for a fair price.They were fair and honest and went out of their way to help me out. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. They didnt have to either since I dont live near there and they had no expectation of a return customer. But if I did live near Ontario they would be first on my list for service and purchasing a car.

At first I wasnt sure about even buying a car I knew where my credit was and lets say it wasnt perfect. Alexis was great and the financial crew did a great job. They were the first to NOT give me the run around and they were able to get me into a car without having a huge down and got me into it for reasonable payment and it took them half the time to give me a yes than any other dealership I have tried in the last year! All in all Im very pleased with the car they got me into and the pace that they did it in. I just purchased a new 2018 F250 from Ontario Auto Ranch. It was an easy, quick process. The price was right, and there were no tricky last minute add-ons or dealer fees. Matt the Sales Manager and Juan the sales professional were absolute straight shooters. I looked nationwide and no one had a better up front price or an easier process. I flew in from out of state. They picked me up at the airport, and my total time in the dealership was less than 45 minutes to complete the paperwork and be on the road. A first class operation.

My husband hit a deer while on vacation near Ontario and he ordered a new headlight and a couple of hydraulic hood lift support struts for our Dodge Ram from Ontario Auto Ranch Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge. The parts were available the next day. From Nevada with cash in hand to buy a f350 only to leave empty handed and with a BROKEN VERBAL PROMISE. Then when I called to speak with management Kurt and Sherman they would not take my calls. Front desk lady kept saying they just left for the day. For a week straight. My 2013 Dodge dart motor blew back in July or August 2017 and we are still waiting for it to be repaired. Im a single mom and my dad has been helping me to get the car fixed and talking to the manager but Kevin the parts manager keeps saying he will call my dad back and he never does. We get nothing lip service when he goes in to talk to him. The car is supposed to be under warranty, my sons changed the oil every time the change oil light came on and the car has been perfectly cared for. But the car itself is a lemon. Its one of the the lowest rated vehicle in consumer reports but dodge refused to own up to there poor design.

Im happy with the vehicle I bought there but Im less happy about the trade in offer. Less than 3 days after purchase they have the vehicle I traded in at more than 300% makeup over what they gave me for it. Seams a little shady to me. Absolute lifesavers! I’m a 28 year military veteran that broke down on I-84. Tow truck delivered my Dodge truck to the dealership after service hours. Was called at hotel by 0830 next morning and briefed on details, truck fixed and on the road by noon. Amazing staff that went out of their way to help my wife and I. Many thanks!!

I Recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler with the Ontario Auto Ranch Dealership. I was buying from out of state so relied heavily on the salesperson to guide me through the process. I was lucky enough to have talked with Leslie who was very proactive and got back with me quickly concerning any questions or concerns I had. We closed the deal in one day. It was going to be a couple of weeks before I was able to make it in to get the Jeep, but needed a few custom items added to it before I picked it up. Leslie contacted a local business and set the customization up, so it would be ready when I arrived. I bought my 2017 Infiniti QX30 couple of weeks ago. Malysha is very nice and helpful! She is also knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. I have my financing in place with my current Credit Union. I came in their office at noon, traded in my car, and left with my new car in couple of hours. The process went fast and smooth. I strongly recommend their service.

Be aware this dealership will quote you a price and send it to you via email then refuse to honor it unless you use their bank. The penalty for not using their bank.... 1000 extra dollars. When asked to honor the quoted price the manager Sherman refused to even discuss it. This practice is plain and simple extortion! We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about these practices. Think twice before considering doing business here!

Service department is great. They will work hard to get you back on the road. Service writers and techs are knowledgeable and friendly. Waiting room is uncomfortable and cramped. Salesmen in the nearby showroom are pushy.

They put 800 miles on my car from when i first saw it to the day i picked it up! They said i would get first 2 oil changes free..i got the first three years ($300.) paid for by me in the contract to cover the $400 they took off upfront!They charged me for plates and tags thst i had already paid for and yes i told them..thst was $600. I dont quess i would suggest you go in there without your check list in hand. The intrest on that 600 is not to be laughed at...they are pretty shifty..got to go in with list, after youve had a good nights sleep and your coffee...and because they are going to let you wait for hours..maybe you should have a lunch sack and fluids!

I dont know if it was because I was from out of state, but I was not respected at this location. At one point, the salesman, Kyle I think, shook my hand and nicely told me to leave. Then the paperwork had severe problems. I was given the temporary tag that lasted 20 days. I attempted to license my new vehicle a couple of times but the courthouse didnt have my paperwork sent to them yet by this company. Finally the day before my temporary expired, I called and asked where my title was so I could license my truck. They found it in their files and THEN sent it. My truck sat in the driveway for a week because they didnt send the paperwork. This, and the disrespect given to me are reasons I would never go here again, and will suggest to everyone to do the same.
