Great place, great service. Picked out a car, financing and other paperwork easy and stress free. No pressure to buy or upgrade. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Overall Im very happy with this experience.

Service was just okay. Not bad, but not above and beyond. Did not reset my oil percentage after oil change. Online oil change price listed at 35 and can vary by make and model, but showed up and was over 60 dollars for oil change and then an additional 25 for tire rotation 85 in total. Just feels like a bit of a bait and switch for those scheduling online. Lucky to have had reward points, but will not be returning for oil changes in the future due to high price and below average job. If you cannot reset the oil percentage there is no reason to charge over 60 bucks.

I went to have a couple remotes programmed for my car. When I bought the used car only one remote worked. I called them to see how much it would cost to have them programmed. The service girl told me $60. I made the appointment. When I got there the final price was $80. I feel I got taken advantage of. Otherwise, everyone was nice.

Very disappointed in the experience with Brenengen. A couple months ago I went in because my breaks needed to be looked at. We changed my front breaks and I felt they were still shaking on the highway and making some squeaking noises. I asked the individual to take it on the hwy. I did a drop off the night before as my appointment was at 7:15 that morning. At 10:30 I called to see if they had taken a look at my vehicle and they said Yes, we could not find any issues. I was extremely upset as I did not receive a call and I then asked if they had taken it on the Hwy like I asked. They replied with no. I asked them once again to do so please it shakes. They called back 2 hours later and said that my alignment was off. And said it was going to be a $50 some charge. I said why would I get charged for an alignment fix when I had it in previously to get my front breaks changed? You do not service the alignment when you change out the breaks? Their reply We can not actually know for sure if it was done when it was under our care and no an alignment check is not done when we change breaksLiterally TERRIBLE customer care. I would not recommend them and we will not be getting anything serviced there again. They do not care about their customers. They would rather have you eat the cost of their problems than fixing their mistakes and take ownership and see you back in their shop.

Please save your money and just go to the local junk yard and you will have more luck finding a reliable car from there. Brenengen has the worst costumer service i’ve ever dealt with. Erik Anderson was very condescending to me when I was just asking questions, also offered no help and rolled his eyes when I had a problem for how high by bill was when they couldn’t even find the actual problem with my vehicle. screw you.

Getting real tired of waiting an hour every oil change even though I have a scheduled appointment so this doesnt happen. They didnt even pull my car in for 20 minutes after my time. NEVER returning to Brenengans!Oh and their waiting room seats like 4 and there is 20 people standing around.

While my oil change was fine, I have been doing an oil consumption test for a while now and I always have someone being so rude to me about it. For example your customer service rep, Ross, needs a total attitude adjustment. When someone comes in because something is wrong with the vehicle they bought from the store, the rep should NEVER make it seem like it is the customers fault. Ever since I started the consumption test the reps have been rude and not helpful at all like they want something else to go wrong so that I am responsible. Whatever the reason, I ended up speaking with the GM of the West Salem store and am getting switched to them because I will never step foot in the Onalaska store again.

We were out of town for a wedding when my Chevy Cruze started leaking oil. I did call the dealership service department and they didn’t answer but decided to go there anyway. Tyler in the service department was great. He was up front with us telling us they did have a full schedule which we completely understood. He asked the one service mechanic if he could at least looks at my car and he did. Although it was a part that didn’t take too too long to fix they still did what they could to fit us in, even gave us a loaner while we waited, and they were seriously so amazing to do this all for us. Amazing service through it all!!

Repair completed on time and as quoted. Somehow they even seemed to fix my navigation system which hasn’t worked for 2 yrs or more, despite their previous efforts. That had nothing to do with the ac problem that brought me in this time. Don’t know if it was accidental repair or what since there was nothing about it on the bill. Either way, thanks!

I came to La Crosse to help my daughter and family move into their new residence today, yes, April 1st lol. On trip to LAX my truck check engine light came on. Brenengan Chevrolet took me in their service department right away. Service advisor Weston Silha took great care of me. Ultimately the truck needs to stay there several days for a new oil pump to be installed. Glad I paid attention to the check engine light. More glad and thankful for Brenengan Chevrolet service department. Thank you for accommodating a traveler a few hours from away home!

I was just at the Onalaska shop paying for an inspection and had a question about the bill. There was a $12.29 charge for “shop supplies” for an inspection that required no shop supplies. I was told “that’s just a change we add in there.” Pretty shady stuff.

I would NEVER and I mean NEVER recommend Brenengen to anyone for any type of service. I have gotten my tires rotated at the Onalaska location several times (only because I made the mistake of buying my tires through them - resulting in free tire rotations). Three times in the past two years, I have discovered several loose lug nuts on my tires after brenengen mechanics have rotated the tires. Each time, they claimed it was because of some kind of substance on the lug nuts themselves. This sounds like it might make sense, but my tires have been taken off for other reasons in the past 2 years and Ive never had this problem any other time EXCEPT for when brenengen mechanics work on the vehicle. Really, really disappointed in your work, Brenengen.

I had some unfortunate issues with my vehicle these past few months with my heater and I was not happy. I had the water heater replaced the first time and everything was great. Fast forward two months and my heater wasnt working properly again. Brought it in to be told that my coolant tank is cracked. Another part in my car became defective in the short period of time of being fixed the first time. Of course, thats my luck and it happened in the matter of months. Thankfully I was able to work with Ian and Steve in the service department and have them explain to me that these things happen. These guys are truly professionals and I am pleased to have worked with them. I have been a loyal customer since 2012 and will continue to be. Thank you Ian and Steve for the service you provide!

I purchased my Malibu 1 year ago, first time ever going to Brenengens. My sales guy was great and very honest. I have been doing all my maintenance work there since purchasing my vehicle and just got new tires put on yesterday and like always great customer service like always and always very pleased when I leave there. I wont go anywhere else for service and when I am due for another vehicle that is where I will be going. Never once have they tried to fix something on my vehicle unless it is needed, very honest people. You ever need a new vehicle or work done go to Brenengens you wont regret

To be fair all the car dealerships have gotten much better at service and how to handle a customer on the lot. These guys do it really well, they ask questions and if you say youre just looking they leave you alone. Used to be years ago, everybody hounded you the moment you walk on the lot. It is like they were trying to scare you away. Always dreaded going to a car dealer when I needed a new vehicle. These guys are courteous, helpful, and seemed to be intent on actually helping you make a good selection. And the pricing is always more than reasonable.

Drove 90 minutes to test drive a car that they confirmed was available over the phone. Got there and they said they couldn’t show us the car because they had someone else coming to buy it in a Couple of days. Staff was awkward when you walked in. We stopped by after work on Thursday and a sales man told us it was a lease return, they send the trucks to auction, but he would call back by 7:00pm that NIGHT! Service was prompt, staff were very helpful and the waiting area quite pleasant with reading materials, coffee and even cookies. This was a routine maintenance check and oil change but they looked thoroughly for the source of a brief episode of wheel squeaking I had observed and found all was well which was reassuring. No unnecessary repairs! There was a dirty air filter that needed changing and they showed me that so Id know why they changed it.

No service after the sale! Ive been trying for over a year to get a factory warranty claim settled on my Expedition. Rod, the salesman, as well as the service departments, just keep making excuses and passing the buck. Be forewarned-they will seem good upfront but will not stand behind their vehicles. I bought a slightly used truck from Brenengen in Onalaska about a month ago. They were accommodating by bringing the truck from their Tomah location for me to test drive which was great. About a week after I purchased the truck there were a couple issues which were covered under the warranty and they provided a loaner truck. Jennifer and her team were great on dealing with the issues as it wasnt an ideal situation for either party after buying a almost new truck but they made up for it in the service they provided.

I went in for just a blinker bulb change, the whole team went above and beyond, check in desk guy very friendly and helpful, the techs change the bulb then check air pressure in tires and topped off window washing fluid without being asked, how thoughtful! Would give zero stars if I could. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO THERE!Went there, because my brakes did not sounded to good. Ended up with a 700$ bill. As a young, foreign girl I I did not have a clue whats really necessary. I am pretty sure they noticed that. When I showed it to a friend he called them, making sure if it was necessary or not. Turned out, most of the stuff they did on my car was just to get more money, not because it had to be replaced. I am so angry. Normally I do not write reviews, but this time I felt like it was important to do so and let people know, that they should NOT trust them.

Do a good job on oil change, but a little hard sell on trying to get you to order other services. Brenengan has always done a super job no matter what the issue was, last winter my windshield washers froze when I was on my way out of town, I stopped by to see if they could help. They thawed them our and made sure my washer fluid was at the correct temperature then filled it. Did not charge me for that, just said travel safeMike

I flew into La Cross, Bruce picked me up at the airport in my new car and I dropped him off at the dealership. Truly a great experience. I love my Enclave and could not be happier with the service!
