The store is always very clean and well stocked. But today I really did get 5 star service. I went in looking for a book that came out today. Didnt find it in the sports section. I asked a worker for help and she took me to non ficiton new releases. When it still wasnt there she went to the back and found it in box. Really am grateful for that

I dont know if Im spelling her name right, so I apologize ahead of time, but Jasmine is a wonderful, caring, helpful employee! I was looking for a certain book and she was able to order it for me and have it shipped to the store so I can pick it up there. Shes an asset to your company! A quick update about 5 minutes after I posted this. Mary the assistant store manager called me and is going to have it shipped to my house, and she even gave me a discount to make the book cheaper for me to get and give as a gift!! Definitely visit this place and ask for one of them both wonderful girls!😉❤

Huge Barnes & Noble. Has a Starbucks and is very clean. Staff is incredibly helpful and insightful.

One of those places I never tire of visiting. Employees were helpful when needing to locate a book. Clean and organized.

The staff is very nice. I love going there to journal and enjoy a drink and snack from the Starbucks/Barnes and Noble cafe. The black out cupcake is highly recommended if you enjoy a lot of chocolate flavor 😋 they also have a large selection of games, toys, and Lego sets.

As always, good stock on everything. The Starbucks inside is a very nice addition. It was a bit pricey there, I could go online and get the same book for less even with shipping.

I love this place, its got a Starbucks in it, which is right away wind for me. The atmosphere is very quiet and almost like a different world I dont know how to explain it but five stars.

I love this place! The Starbucks cafe has such a large and comfortable seating area. Very clean bathroom when I was there. Lastly, the books were well organized.

I like the old-fashioned ambience. A sales girl went the extra-mile, got on the computer and found the book that I was looking for in a bargain bin. Great experience!

As always, I came here expecting to spend money, but still spent even more. 😂 They have such a vast collection of Manga, Music as well as the classics from Jane Austen & Edgar Allan Poe. This is always a place I need to stop by when I finally get close enough to one. The employees here are also so relaxed, yet very helpful. When inquiring about a couple of items, they not only were able to direct me to where they normally are (they were completely out of them), but also explained when they usually came in (one of my items is a Christmas only ik stock). Always a pleasure.

Its my candystore. Nothing like buying a new book, or a puzzle, different games than you usually see. Settlers of Cataan. Yes! And recently my old favorite classic, Dungeon.

Im a tactile person so I am so happy the Oakview location still exists! Great selection of books, although it seems to be a bit limited for some authors. Hope a new location reopens in the east part of town!

Hasn’t been updated since the 90’s, lives in a dead mall on the edge of town, zero selection, confusing layout. So disappointing that this is the only location in a metro area of 1 million people.

One of the associates was so helpful in answering my questions about ordering books and having the delivered at my house or store.

This is a great bookstore with a great selection of books, magazines, toys, puzzles, games and other gifts and is now the only one located in the Omaha area. The staff is friendly enough. My favorite section is the magazine section. There are many titles that you cant find anywhere else and I love looking at them. The signage is large which makes finding what youre after easy. You can also get yourself a coffee while you settle in and read you new book! It makes for a great day!

Barnes and noble. A great book store.I picked up my books that they held for me. They were right on time with everything customer service to.

Clean, great customer service, well presented with great lighting. I was disappointed in the number of books available in the store. It seems there is a lot less books around (a few authors that are popular not found at all) and a lot more fluff. Childrens certainly had a lot more toys then it did 10 years ago.

Biggest, nicest Barnes and Noble Ive ever been to. It was a wonderfully pleasant boom shopping experience. No wait at check out didnt hurt either, although Im sure that was just luck. Great location 👍

Unreliable online order shipment. Made an online order and received confirmation. The book didn’t ship for more than 2 weeks. Called customer service and they said “it’s unavailable for shipping”, really!! Why I didn’t get an update? Why you kept the order hanging for more than 2 weeks then?

Excellent customer service. I originally couldnt find the book I was in search of. I asked one of the workers who found the book for me. Very helpful.

Clean and tidy! If a book isnt available when you go in they will grab it off the truck when the next is available and call you letting you know its there. Very convenient.

I could stay here all day every day if I could. It was such a relaxing environment that is taking proper covid precautions with plexiglass barriers for cashiers and requires masks. Bathrooms were very clean. Book selection was high with reading material for children all the way to adults. I would rate 5 stars, but selections for different book series, both novels and Manga, tended to be incomplete. Otherwise, it is a highly recommended experience. Books are also reasonably priced.

Enjoyed my time there with my best friend and her nieces. For those that are there for Starbucks, yes there are open and seating is available and marked where you can and cant sit due to what is happening. But you have a 30 minute limit to enjoy your drink. Favorite area is the blind date with books wrapped for a fun read. Located right in the front upon entering.

My grandson likes stuffed Mario characters and they are very hard to find. Barnes & Noble is one store I can always find a new one.👍

Well maintained and standard book store in the chain.

I have been going to Barnes and Noble Oakview for at least 25 years and I have never had a bad experience here.To begin with, they are one of the last few book stores in Omaha. Their other locations have gone and other sellers are closing one by one. However, they always stock a great supply of books and magazines.They have a nice seating area where you can have drinks and pastries while you read. And, there are other seating areas outside of that area too if you want more peace and quiet.If you purchase a lot of books then it might also benefit you to get the Barnes and Noble card. I have had for years and have always enjoyed it. It gives you discounts on books so if you big purchase habit it will benefit you.Overall, I will continue to return until they close eventually.

They had a decent selection, some good finds in the clearance area too. Im glad they still have their music and movies section where you can find some more obscure selections and imports. I think theyve gotten better since the other Omaha location closed.

It was busy with the holidays, but I was still able to find what I wanted and check out quickly. The staff was helpful and courteous in locating what I was looking for.

Im very grateful that we have one last surving Barnes & Noble in Omaha. They carry a great selection of fiction, nonfiction, kids books, magazines, crafts, games, toys. I always stop by when Im around Oakview mall.

Books contain knowledge and reading has become a lost art. It is comforting that stores like this exist.

Story time on saturday morning is a winner for my little ones.Cookies, cake,. coffee, books and a play area for the littles...Not to mention Wifi access in a lounge area and office supplies on hand.Im not sure how to make it any better.

This is a REALLY lovely Barnes and Noble location. Its smaller than Im used to, but the venue and the atmosphere are both very pleasant. For the size, the selection was genuinely impressive. The prices are always pretty decent here. For every book you find maybe overpriced, you find like 10 great deals. Recommend.

Worst customer service I have experienced in 40 years. The woman who assisted me after I tracked someone down treated me like I had flesh falling off. This was my first experience at any Barnes and Noble. I asked for help trying to find a specific book my daughter wanted. The employee gave me verbal directions and pointed. I still could not find the area of the store. I asked again for assistance . She pointed in a general direction. I had to ask again to have her show me the area of the store the book was in. She stayed so far away from me that her pointing and speaking was unclear and hard to hear. I understand the whole pandemic protocol but this person was ridiculous.

This review concerns the cafe only - the bookstore part is a 4 or 4.5.Cafe: mocha was served exceedingly hot and tasted bad, and the baked goods tasted odd or preservative heavy.

Always clean and the staff is friendly. Theyve moved things around since I was there last and it took me a while to find the sections I needed. Also got drinks from the coffee shop and on the way out of the store, my daughter dropped hers in the parking lot. :( I went back in to get another one and offered to pay for it but they were kind enough to give it to us for free.

Super busy but the staff didn’t fail to be helpful and fun to talk to :)

Nice variety of items to choose from. Found a lot of Harry Potter items here that we couldnt find any where else. Also, they have cute Pusheen items & other unique things. Its a good place to browse if youre looking for special items. Having the Starbucks cafe is a positive attribute. Staff is usually helpful & friendly.

I was a huge fan of Border’s before it closed, it was my favorite. So many places to sit and browse, soothing atmosphere, the best. Barnes and Noble may not be Border’s, but I still love it. Not as many places to sit so I sit on the floor, but when you’re surrounded by books, nothing can be wrong.
