I was having difficulties getting my range lighting to operate properly. Rob was my salesman/helper with this project and with his help I managed to get the right item to make my life brighter.It’s a fabulous display room here in the sales crew are personable and professional. A good local place to do business with.

EXCELLENT!!! I was visiting from Washington state and my daughter recommended her. My daughter brows looked awesome, so my appt was set up. The service, care, and delicate manner was great. I had a one time application and she explained the healing process clearly. I wasnt surprised and I adhered to the instructions given. EXCELLENT outcome. I told my husband of 35 years weeks later and he had no complaints.

Men be careful bringing your wife here. They have tons of great fixtures and the staff is super helpful. If you go here you are likely to get something that looks cool in your house and have to play electrician or hire one.

Had to rebuild a lamp and convert it to LED. They knew exactly the parts I needed the cost of everything was perfect. It was worth the drive across town.

We went to Olympia Lighting to see if we could possibly find a replacement globe for a light bar. We had looked both online and in the big name hardware/ home stores. We took the globe into the Store where we were immediately greeted and noticing the box we were carrying, asked if they could help. It was apparent that the employee was familiar with many styles and methods of attaching the different globes to the lamps. He was very helpful, he initially looked at it and said he was doubtful that they had a match, because of the unusual shape and mounting. I told him that an exact match was not important, just that the globe be able to fit the fixture. He spent at least 10 minutes searching in the stock room and came out with one possibility that was close but ultimately wouldn’t suit. He offered to search manufactures catalogues for us.. We decided that since time was also a consideration to decline that offer. He said he was sorry he could not help us. He did not try to convince us to make a purchase of a different fixture! In fact he seemed surprised when my husband said “ well, we like the looks of this one here, . and pointed to one of the models on the wall, so we’ll take it .I was impressed with the variety of the light, there was a nice selection of styles and and a good range of prices.We will look here first the next time we require new lamps or light fixtures.

We drove up to Tacoma to a lighting store and after being ignored for half and hour came back and tried out Olympia Lighting Center. We found they have the same basic selection, with fewer customers and better customer service. We plan to get more light fixtures from them.

Bought new fixtures from Olympia Lighting. At first we were going to order online. Glad we re-considered. Cheryle is the best! She took the time to walk us through many different options, offer suggestions, etc. She took all the time we needed. A couple of the fixtures came broken (not Olympia Lightings fault), and Cheryle got us the replacement parts right away. Very happy with these guys. The fact that its a local business is even better. So glad we went that route instead of ordering online!

Stopped in several times and found the selection very dated and overpriced. Our electrician bought an outdoor light from them for our house. It didn’t work properly after it was installed, and they won’t back the product, claim it’’s one of their best but we have to try to get the manufacturer to support it directly.

This is the place to go if you are looking for help selecting nice lights. The selection is almost as big as other lighting centers in bigger cities and is actually more varied than many. The real win, however, is the staff. They are so helpful. Also, if a bulb fails or you have some other issue, returns or exchanges have been a breeze. Weve bought fixtures, track lighting, and more and continue to shop here.

Wow, I have been suffering with the on hand selections of Lowes and Home Depot (granted they both do have a large selection) I just discovered this amazing place. I had a chandelier that was missing the mounting hardware. The selection on hand they had for my needs was amazing, I got immediate 1 on 1 service with someone who is completely familiar with their services. Great place and a huge on hand selection of light fixtures too.

I have shopped for lights two times at this store, preferring to shop locally. Both times I walked in, there were 2 or 3 people working, no other customers. No one said hello or even asked me what I was looking for. I walked around for 10 minutes with no interactions so both times I walked out and shopped on Amazon.

If youre doing lighting, or need anything uncommon, FORGET HOME DEPOT AND LOWES. I had to repair a late 70s lamp electrical parts. The bigs had nada. This place got it ALL done for me parts-wise for about $10, AND they were pleasant, confident & professional. Excellent.

Beautiful selection of indoor and outdoor lights. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have just about every style of lighting you can think of, parts for lamp repair, special bulbs, and more. I think they are a little spendy, but its a small local company, not a warehouse retail store.

Yes, I know that Olympia Lighting has beautiful merchandise, and yes you may be able to find lighting elsewhere cheaper. But, you will not find more knowledgeable people. They are, quite simply, experts in just about anything electrical. In the beginning of my furnished housing venture, I studied all of the pieces and parts of a lamp, and how to tie that special knot when rewiring a lamp. But, nothing beats experience. Once I discovered what a great job they do, I seceded to them for anything and everything electrical.

Excellent quality fixtures! Depending on who waits on you makes all the difference...very helpful and answers questions or rude, abrupt and go away attitude. Fortunately, I do not need to return.

Recently went in to purchase 6 items (about $600 in fixtures) for my home. They have a great selection and some really good quality items on display for a fair enough price. The salesperson acted like he owned the place and couldnt care less if I was there throughout the transaction. They had an item on display with a discounted price (apx $230) but apparently it was not an item that they stock. When I asked about ordering the item I was told that I would have to pay for the freight to have it sent to the store ($30) and that if I decided to return the item I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee I declined. Another item was out of stock and when asked about ordering it I was encouraged to consider buying the display (already wired in / no box). I asked if there would be a problem with ordering it and he replied I - dont - know (insinuating that I should take the display) I declined. Later I asked if I did order the item, would there be a freight charge and he said no, thats a regularly stocked item (?) I ordered it.Again, nice items on display. I was not greeted, valued as a customer, nor thanked.

Please ensure you check your inventory before you leave their store. They have a very bad record keeping system and tend to short people (items missing). And if you are not one of their regular (or favorite) customers/contractors, they dont back-fill what is missing. Unfortunately, they dont use computers and dont have legible (poorly hand written carbon copy) receipts, so they cant just scan your receipt and check their systems. They also dont check each item off on the delivery receipt (bill of ladle) to ensure what is on the receipt is/was what was picked up/delivered. They also dont have a very good system of inventorying their own supplies nor their suppliers to ensure a traceable process (they cant track what is/wasnt picked up/delivered and correct their error). If you cant read the hand written carbon copy receipt, stop and ask them to re-write it. They are notorious for having misplaced and miss-delivering. Check and check again, your invoice against your delivery, and have the salesperson/representative sign on the bottom of the receipt. You should then sign after them to approve/agree with what was delivered/not delivered! I learned the hard way. And they wont accept my word. They told me I need to re-purchase what I say I am missing! Not a happy customer. Going back to the big chains for reliability, better pricing, and much better customer service. I had the pleasure of doing a Google Photoshoot and virtual tour for Olympia Lighting Center. It was beautiful inside. As a student of lighting design, and recognizing its importance. I would encourage anyone in the Olympia area whos in the market for to check these folks out.

Olympia Lighting Center has awesome customer service. Aaron was great. They help with selection and they are never pushey. There selection is large and I always find what I need and love. We did business with them on our last four home builds and will use them again if need airises. I think it is so important to support local business especially when they can compete against the big box stores which Olympia Light has done with us and can do for you.

I walked in and asked for light bulbs first guy i talked to had attitude and pawned me off on another employee so he could help a woman. Second gentleman was very good and professional.
