The previous owner of my boat recommended Peterson Marine to service the refrigeration system.The tech was very knowledgeable about the older system in this boat.When the invoice came it included travel time and was billed at the rate of $90.00 an hour.I dont have a problem paying for travel time at a reasonable rate but when travel is charged at 90.00 an hour, that seems excessive, right?Perhaps it was my fault for not understanding the quote?Or was it a hidden / minimum amount? With other companies the charge at a different rate for travel.Or they should move the office closer to the customers boats.
