Very unprofessional staff. I walk in the door stylist does not lift her head to greet me, just yells did you make an appt. This is how you train your staff to keep people coming in? Place is outdated. Lots of nicer fantastic sams out there.

Jana has been cutting my hair for a couple years now, maybe a little longer and I have yet to be disappointed! I am always greeted with a smile and an upbeat personality! She is so professional and really makes you feel so comfortable. She truly goes above and beyond! The rest of the staff is always friendly too! But, book with Jana, you will be very glad you did!!

I would not normally go to fantastic Sams, however, Destinie Came highly recommended to me. I took my daughter with super curly hair that was pretty tangled because you know curly hair gets tangled. And she was able to get through it pretty quickly she was very kind she was very nice and she did not cause any pain at all. Laura was also there helping and she was also very kind and gentle.

Beautiful, clean salon. Friendly, professional staff. Johana cut & styled my hair. What a great experience! She educated me on what products I should be using and also how to style my hair at home. Ten stars!

I asked for The Manager, of course, not there!! Totally Disappointed, Totally Unprofessional.. Totally Lost my business.. Goodbye Kimberly, Goodbye ‘Fantastic Sam’. Not so fantastic!

Destinie was amazing! Im so thankful she could take me in because my availability is only on the weekend and everything is always booked by the time i know my availability. I wish the customers who dont work would go during the week but whatever. Destinie was very professional and she worked her buns off juggling me and another lady while taking on the lead role of greeting customers and figuring out issues with getting more workers to come in in response to the amount of customers and advice on someones hair that was not dying correctly. They worked as a team here and were still friendly and gave me great service even though they were swamped and stressed. Thank you girls

This is the SECOND time we have taken our son here for a perm and he leaves with semi-wavy hair! What’s even more upsetting is that he paid for his second perm with his OWN MONEY only for it to be wasted.The stylist said it was because his hair was fried due to previous dyes and that’s why the perm didn’t take, and for us to use straws or pipe cleaners at night and his hair would be curly in the morning... are you kidding me?! Fortunately, we were able to take it to another salon and they were able to not only perm his hair but fix the damage caused by Fantastic Sams. Unbelievable.

I needed a quick buzz cut and this Sam’s Club truly delivered a quality cut at an affordable price. My stylist was Elizabeth and she did an excellent job.I love that their haircuts include shampoo as well for under $20! I recommend this Fantastic Sam’s and Elizabeth is a great stylist.Thank you!

This place it’s terrible, they don’t know how to estimate wait times and they are so rude. The whole premise of a cheap hair Cuttery is to be able to walk in and get a haircut without the fuss of an appointment. I understand there will be waits occasionally, however your wait times should be realistic and you should be able to stick to them. At the very least have a little class and be pleasant to your customers. Why would I ever choose to go here again when there are seven other cheap places to get a haircut and a 5 mile radius?! Don’t go here, choose somewhere else!

My wife made a 2 oclock appointment and when we arrived the hair dresser said it would be 2:15 before she could do my wife because she had a walk in. We waited the 15 minutes and went back in the lady in the chair was getting highlights in her hair and was no where near done, probably another half hour. That was really disrespectful to us! Walk ins should be made to wait as appointments should take priority. We had other things to do and needed to get done on time! We wont be back, that was rude!

Rose did my hair perfect. My hair was below my shoulders and in bad shape. Had some surgeries which each time left side effects with my hair. Rose knew what would look good. She took her time and I love what she did. Will tell everyone. Rose is the one to see for your hair needs. Thank You Rose great job.

Elizabeth is amazing! I had 4 inches cut off my hair, my hair colored from dark to light, highlights and even beachy waves. She assisted in picking the right colors to get the look I wanted and my hair has never looked better!! I would highly recommend her for all your hair needs.

The evening crew was awesome. They were fast and friendly. I stopped by with my 5 year old (wiggle worm). We were in and out fast with some solid cuts. My haircut looked just like the picture of the model I gave Elizabeth as an example. In fact, I’m planning on quitting my day job, going to get some head-shots with this badass haircut, and becoming a male supermodel. Naaaa, just kidding. For real though, solid place.

Sheena at Fantastic Sams Oldsmar is great! From a small trim to a full color, she can do it all with perfection. She listens to understand what you want and works with you to make it happen. She gave me the best cut I’ve had in 20+ years and new lowlights that truly compliment my color. My hair looks Fantastic, thanks to Sheena!

Made an appointment for 10am for color and cut . 2 people went before me after I had been sitting there for 30 mins . ( apparently whoever was suppose to do my hair was not there ?). So the lady asked me if I wanted her to start my hair at that point . Very unprofessional to make me sit there and not tell me anything. So I left because they were not organized and all the lady said was “ ok fine “. Do not recommend! Be more professional and kind !

Big thanks to rose for forcing me to wear a hat in public. i said i wanted a little bit cut on the front and top but i mainly wanted the sides cut. she cut my sides alright, and decided to cut the rest down to half its orginal size.

Unfortunately I dont have much hair so I go here for a quick buzz cut . The hairstylists here are very friendly and professional in my opinion. It is also the cheapest place to get a buzz cut so I do recommend this particular Fantastic Sams because they are very nice to me and will try and squeeze me in so I dont have to wait long for a 5 minute buzz cut . I want to thank them for their kindness and hardworking attitudes !👍

Beware of this salon they did a terrible job on my hair!! I dont think these people know how to cut hair! I was really disappointed and when the manager called me and told me she wanted to fix my hair i told her that the person who cut my hair said she was only going to cut it no more than an inch and she end up cutting it like 4 inches and it was uneven! And the manager said that thats what they mean when they say one inch so its starts with bad management! If they tell you they will cut it one way they will cut it their own way! I will never go to this place ever again these people are not professional and they do not listen to what the custumer wants or is paying for! I payed $15 for a bad haircut and didnt get my money back!

I really appreciate the folks who took the time to put their reviews on here. I had a perm and desperately needed a trim - my hair was unmanageable and my regular stylist is only open a few days a week (not weekends!) and I just got to a point I couldnt take it anymore. So, I went to see Stephanie at Fantastic Sams in Oldsmar and she was GREAT! Knowledgeable and professional (18 years experience), she addressed my concerns and didnt push unnecessary extra services or products. Ive been used to going to salons and paying a lot for a styled cut - walked out of there today for $20 (including a $5 tip!) Got her card and will count myself blessed to find such a gifted stylist so close to home and at such an unbelievably great price! WOW!

I went in with a Disconnect Hairstyle as i sat down she asked what i would like on the sides as they had grown out, i told her a 2 and before i could say anything else she started cutting my sides and decided to blend the side my hair on the top sat... the whole time trying to let me know it was coming along. In the end the top right side of my hair is now blended in.... IT LOOKS RIDICULOUS! SUPER LONG ON THE LEFT THEN BLENDED ON THE RIGHT... I LOOK LIKE TWO FACE! Then she went on to tell me it was my fault for not telling her i wanted a disconnect... IT WAS THE STYLE I WALKED IN WITH!

Used to be my favorite place to get a haircut - now there are new employees there and they are the rudest people ever. I quit going to this one and started going to the one in Dunedin.

If you go to this salon watch out for precilla she did a terrible job on my hair AND charged me $15 for it and her excuse was oh it was a misunderstanding i said i only want a trim dont cut a lot because i have curly hair and makes it curlier if its short, i want long layers and make it look like a V from the back...is that so hard to understand? unless you are a retard..i used to go to a fantastic sams in st pete where Eddie used to cut my hair and he was terrific he knew how to cut it he was an expert too bad he had to go back home up north and i ended up with this lady precilla who says she knows how to cut hair she cut about 3 inches AND it its uneven it looks terrible and it does not look like a V from the back my husband couldnt believe how bad it looks he wanted to go back and demanded the money back but i was so upset that just wanted to leave..we are never going to that place again and i will not recommended to anyone!!
