New management and doing better. I started renting a space here when it was CubeSmart and getting my stuff out a year later the rate is better, indoor temperature is set lower, and the place is cleaner.Special note: there is a moving truck available for customers if you talk with the front desk.

The place is very clean and very orderly. Excellent and very helpful staff Danielle. Great assistance and excellent rental rates always running specials. Dont forget about their free truck rental if you rent a storage unit too. Also in training is another very nice and helpful lady to assist Danielle.

Had a great experience using LifeStorage in Olathe the past 8 months. The facility was always clean. The reservation and check out process was simple and efficient. The carts and the elevator to the second floor was super helpful during move-in & out (though a deeper/bigger elevator would have been even better). Overall, I would definitely consider using this facility again if I need a storage unit.

I had some difficulty renting online- I called and Alex sent me a link and it worked to complete the rental. I went in the next day because I was unclear what to do with the security tab on the handle - was so simple but I wanted to make sure I was to take it off and not them. Very helpful and polite.

Brandy is absolutely AWESOME! From the time I walked into the door she made me feel welcome and was willing to help me. My company had pre-arranged for the unit prior to my arrival, so Brandy took the time to walk with me to unit and gave me the tour of the facility, including ensuring my access code worked. The following day she went above and beyond to assist me with a delivery that was coming from my companies home office. She is so pleasant and just a very nice person; something you do not see that often in this current state we are living in. I am a person who is very huge on customer service; and Brandy does and excellent job of providing outstanding service. Too bad we cannot have more people in the world like her; it would be a better place. Keep up the great work Brandy, you will go far!!!!The facility was very clean and climate was well controlled. It was quick and easy to secure a storage unit online. Then, when we went in for bubble wrap and stuff, Danielle was very friendly and helpful.

The process for renting the unit was quick and easy. It was by far the cleanest and most secure storage facility Ive ever rented from. And I loved the easy access to dollies. The security of having my own keycode entry was comforting. All around, I will only be renting from cubesmart in the future!!

Great staff and rates

The quick online set-up allowed us to reserve a storage unit online and the staff had it ready to go in the time it took to drive to the CubeSmart. When we told them we only needed the unit for a month, there was no automatic billing set up. When we ended up needing it longer, we were able to extend for another month with a phone call. So easy!

Same as every other storage place, they get you in the door with a low price offer then every couple of months the price goes up 20 bucks here 30 bucks there and before you know it youre paying double the original price. And incase youre wondering the original price was not a limited time offer they tell you its the set price but in the contract it states that rate maybe changed at anytime for any reason. Price gouging scum!!!@%#&$

Efficient check in and out. Well lit and clean. That is the only reason why Im giving it 2 stars. After having a 10x10 storage unit in the so called climate control inside storage area for 5 months we moved our furnishings and household items out last night. The very first thing I noticed when raising the door was mold. Mold all over our leather chair, ottoman and love seat. Also there was mold on the wooden piano bench. legs of the piano, dining chairs and dining table pedestal. I immediately started taking pictures and then went to the front desk to inquire about a possible water leak from a pipe of leaking roof. Staff said that no leak was detected nor reported in that area. There was clearly a new piece of insulation where a repair had been made with other rather obvious areas where water had come in. Staff then went into CYA mode and began to take pictures and advised us that we would have to submit it to our insurance and let the insurance and their corporate office figure it all out. Meanwhile I have moldy furnishings that I cant move into my house until the mold is mitigated. They also advised that climate control really only means temperature control...stating that the temp is kept somewhere between 50 - 80 F. When we first gained access to the building it was stifling in the storage area due to lack of air movement and it was very humid. If you want the Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition of Climate Controlled it is; : having or providing artificial control of air temperature, humidity, and movement. CubeSmart only covers the temperature portion of that statement. Shop around, ask questions, read the fine print! Now I have to go and retract all of the positive recommendations of CubeSmart that I told my family and friends.

The team consistently went above and beyond to help us in whatever we needed. The facility remained cleaned and protected. The only recommendation I would suggest are small trash cans where things like dust pan contents can be emptied.

The customer service representative showed me the options available for rental and have thought about all the questions ahead of time and I had an easy experience in using the facility.

Nice facility. Never had a problem

During the course of time we used CubeSmart to store our belongings, we witnessed many things that made us move to a new facility. To start with, the set of doors they have to enter the building are broken. They do not latch closed, and one is so bad that a wind gust will blow it open. This has ultimately invited vagrants into the building, and personal encounters on multiple occasions with homeless people in what should have been a secured building. These people are using the bathrooms and leaving them in filthy condition, which in turn are rarely cleaned by the staff.The staff in general is lazy and complacent. The floors aren’t swept, bathrooms aren’t cleaned, and the doors and windows haven’t been cleaned since we’ve been customers there. This is especially concerning given the current pandemic. The same handprints have been on the elevator for nearly a year. At one point there was what appeared to be a jug of urine in the parking lot that went uncollected for weeks. When I contacted the store manager with my concerns, I was told someone would take care of it. Nothing changed.And then I had my fateful encounter with the actual owner of the building. Because their units are black inside, I plugged in a light to see the inside of my unit. He approached me unannounced and startled me. After stating in my unit, I became aggravated as there have been break-ins at CubeSmart, and specific items stolen are items that I store. Apparently my correspondence with him wasn’t what his ego was seeking, and we engaged in a verbal disagreement.At this point, there’s not enough I can say about Robert Cummins, the owner. What a disgusting example of a property owner. He clearly cares nothing about his business reputation, and doesn’t hold the level of integrity I prefer to see in someone I’m doing business with. If you feel so inclined to line the pockets of someone that could care less if you’re accosted by a homeless person, doesn’t care to keep the security side of his contractual agreement, and would rather argue with you, then by all means - enjoy CubeSmart. If finding coke in the bathroom on a regular basis and arriving to a wide open building concerns you, look for storage elsewhere.

Everything was as explained. I drove from another state, and was worried about the lock being in the unit, and the gate code programmed. Everything was exactly as stated.

Has had a damaged door unrepaired for months. Now theyve raised my rent $40 per month. ( retaliation??) Still havent repaired the door though. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for those two major items.

All of the staff and managers were very friendly and efficient. The facility was very clean, had large elevators (large enough for a queen mattress), is climate controlled, and had high quality security cameras. There were several doors to the facility that made unloading a U-haul truck convenient, and CubeSmart provides carts at each door to make transporting your items to your storage unit easier. I left feeling like my items would be stored safely and kept clean.

Easy options. I got a good first months free special which a week was all I needed. Should of had signs of which direction storage numbers were. Easy to get lost. And better salt for the ground. Looked like they just put down rocks and glass. Made a bumpy ride for their flat carts. But other than that great place. Quick clean and friendly. Got a pretty dope lock out of it too. Had to pay for it tho.

One if the coolest storage companies ever! My monthly payment is low for services I get! I have a climate controlled indoor unit I can access as many times as I want until 10pm 7 days a week. they have elevators carts bathrooms and service call buttons if you ever have any questions hit the button and someone will answer for you. Customer service seemed like their forte! Its an awesome place!

From the moment we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by one of the many friendly staff at Cube Smart, really made us feel like VIPS talked us threw everything we needed to know about renting a cube space. Made us feel like we were part of this Great Family!!! ThanksP.S. The units there are Super Clean, and the security there is top notch, I feel very comfortable with storing my personal effects with them.

We had our unit, along with several other people, burglarized with most of our things either stolen or completely destroyed. The security at Cubesmart is terrible and worse, the management and the company does not care about anything. Nobody in management or even coorporate would help us OR the police. Forcing the police to take it into their own hands was the only way to move forward. The building is not secured after 6pm and people can come and go up until 10pm and then as long as you are in the building, you are free to stay throughout the night or as long as you want. Someone ended up removing locks on our unit and many others over several weeks time - I know because when the police arrived, they checked the units around us and sure enough, they all opened right up regardless of whether or not the lock was in place. This place is literally the most dangerous place to leave your belongings. We have lost everything we had in our home now because of this companys terrible security and I dont want it to happen to anyone else

Pretty decent. I was one of the first customers when the Olathe Location opened. Facilities are nice, price is OK. Staff are friendly. I just wish they didnt force you to buy their insurance. Overall, I would likely rent there again if needed and would recommend friends and family to rent there.
