Todays typical big box hardware store experience. Limited products on shelves with most of the in stock items way overpriced. Thin on knowledgeable staff willing to assist when needed if you can find them to begin with. What used to be convenient, enjoyable and cost effective has become a huge waste of time along with hard earned money.

Still have Covid announcements over the PA system every 5-10 min. or so.

Home Depot is a awesome place to go where customers service is very well trained there I enjoy going.

Horrible customer service. I called at 5:50 pm to let the Pro area know I would be arriving with a return and needed a fork lift and operator in 10 minutes. No one was available when I arrived at 6:00. They finally showed up at 6:10. He could not get the fork lift adjusted properly to unload the vanity, so I had to move my car and flat bed trailer to another place while he went to get a different machine. He didnt come back. I went into the store and found him down an aisle helping another customer, even though he knew I was waiting. My trailer was finally unloaded at 6:23.

Love that you can look up an item online and it tells you exactly where in the store it’s located. The website was much more help than any of the associates whom didn’t care to ask if we needed any help. Don’t worry, I had a phone with a website telling me exactly where to go as I walked from one end to the other multiple times. Hence the 3 stars. Otherwise, clean and well stocked. Yes, I could have asked for assistance but that’s not the point.

I went there to pick out ceiling fans for our brand new house, some we ordered online and some we just got in box at store. The people were so caring with the boxes and overall the process was really easy. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were in the Home Depot looking for a wheel barrow, landscape rocks and rubber mulch. A man was organizing the wheel barrows and we asked questions regarding sizes, uses, etc, he was very informative. We then asked about rocks....he took the time to walk us to the rock area and then to the mulch area. As he was inquiring if we needed any additional help, I noticed his name tag which said he was the store manager. He could have easily had another employee assist us....we were very impressed that he took his time to walk us around and offer suggestions and helped us with our purchases. Jeffrey Farson went above and beyond. We love Home Depot!!

Great store but the self checkout is cumbersome. Lowes, for once, is better in this regard.

Great organization and easy layout. Lots of employees to help you find what you need. Only downfall of home depot is they carry a lot of general parts so if you are looking for something not popular or a small part that isnt very common chances are you are better looking online somewhere. That being said they still carry a large variety of items and usually have what you need for any repairs, installs, or replacements.

This store was great! Sunny made appliance shopping a breeze. she really cares about her customers. I was annoyed my dishwasher broke. By the time I left I was in a great mood! Customer service counter was also very friendly. The door greeter really made a point to say hi to everyone and thank them when they left. Great experience! If you need appliances Sunny is the lady to see!

We already picked out storm doors and went back to pay. They paged somebody 3 times to come help us and nobody showed up. We waited 15 minutes and decided to go to lowes. When we were picking out the doors the first guy was good.

I have to say that home Depot does a great job running their company. That is where I prefer to shop and I really cant think of any bad experiences Ive had with them. Really a remarkable company.

I’d imagine someone knows what it is already, but in case you just arrived here on earth, Home Depot is where you go to buy things from a depot, for your home. Tools, wood, appliances, snacks, why not!? Easy to get in and out. Need it right away, buy here. Have time to wait, order it online and maybe save a couple bucks somewhere else instead. I don’t care, I’m not loyal to any company.

Customer Service had no idea where aisle 55 was. Also had no idea that aisle FW meant Front Wall. They sent me on a wild goose chase and I still didnt find what I was looking for.When I went to checkout the cashier couldnt find the barcode on one of my items so I helped him look and some other cashier (Indian Lady) multiple aisle over tried to tell him my drip pan was separate from my flower pot. (It wasnt.) She told him to scan it...it didnt have a separate barcode because it came with the flower pot. She stood there searching frantically for one, then looked it up to see if it was sold as a set. Even though I told her it was a set. When she realized it wasnt separate, she offered no apology and just walked away.I put a few items back because why spend unnecessary money at a store that doesnt bother to help you and acts like youre a thief? Next time Ill go to Lowes.

The staff doesnt wear masks and they dont care if you dont either. They are not doing anything about distancing, cleaning, or enforcing the still in-effect mask mandate. Manager walked past violations. Will not be back. Recommend you dont go either.

I was approached at the self check out today by sweet young lady by the name of Rebecca. Rebecca proceeded to ask me if I had found everything I needed, and if I needed anything additionally. To which I replied I did not. Rebecca made my trip to Home Depot today extremely pleasurable.She offered me the standard, box-store “ would you like to put that on a blank blank card and save X amount of dollars that you statistically probably won’t even be able to take advantage of?”But, this time was different. Not only did I get the short print out (we all know what that means), yet she proceeded to give me the $25 off that she had mentioned as part of the offer. That’s right, even though I didn’t get approved, Rebecca still approved me for the $25 discount right there on the spot.Didn’t even take more than five minutes.Not only do I appreciate Home Depot for allowing their employees to have engagements like this with their bread and butter neighborhood customers,, but I also was able to get the best gift of all out of the situation; and that is a new friend. :)See you again soon, Rebecca!PS: Rebecca needs a raise. Went to check out using the automated lane and first thing I noticed is that you have to scan your items with a hand held scanner... How is this good in any way? Why not have contactless scanning and then give gun as an option.

Ordered somethings curbside that was time sensitive because we are moving and needed extra moving supplies so that we could finish up packing that evening. Even though order was placed by 9am and all the items were in stock they did not fulfill items the same day. I would have been ok with this had they communicated that they would not be able to fulfill that day, because I could have ordered elsewhere. Unfortunately, there was no communication which put us in a logistics jam. If you need something curbside same day I suggest you order elsewhere.

Stone of the people at the customer service desk have no actual customer service skills, talking to customers with a snarky attitude is absolutely not okay. If you cant be respectful to customers then dont work a customer service position!

Went to Shawnee H D waited 15 minutes for help in tools. No one came. Left peeved. Went to Lowe’s.

Will give the store more stars when they start protecting their customers by enforcing the stores mask requirement. I have visited several times over the past 2 months, each time I see at least one person without a mask. Even employees have their masks below their nose. I will not return until they take our safety seriously.

Tired of vision this location close to my house and business only to find empty shelves and p*** poor service. The aisles are often cluttered with pallets and employees are impossible to find. When you do find one, theyre clueless about either the products or even the department! Pandemic aside, not sure how the blue big box is getting their shelves stocked when THD cant!

This Home Depot must have stopped the social distancing and counting customers. Was really easy and convenient going shopping at this location. Also, at least this store understands the logic and that the distance of restriction is really 15 to 20 feet for a cough or sneeze and that the 6 feet distance rule was a joke.The outside plants where super dehydrated or practically dead. Except for the vegetables that where under shade, but being kept warm from the hot concrete. You always tack on 50°F for concrete and blacktop, so I think the high was 97, so the heat coming off the concrete was 147°F.

This is the Home Depot I use the most. I normally dont need to ask questions, but on the few occasions I have the staff have been helpful. Store is well maintained and clean.

Had to make a return, which went great since I had the credit card I used for the purchase. This store is larger than the other Olathe store so I found what I was looking for and I was able to get through the checkout fast and easy.

They had new construction vynil windows to replace my 1959 old windows in stock !

We found what we were looking for fast. We had a few employees ask us if we needed help and they were friendly. The checkout was really quick.

When we were kids, it was Toys R Us. As adults (grown boys-not intending to sound sexist) its now, Home Depot.As a contractor, almost every day includes a run to a hardware or home improvement store for one thing or another. There are plenty of stores to choose from, whenever I can, I choose Depot.I like the layout of their stores (it makes sense to me). Whenever I can’t find something for myself, there’s always someone in an orange vest with either the knowledge I need or a handheld computer to keep the pace moving. Prices may be negligibly different between the big box stores, but I feel Depot does more for the smaller contractor and homeowner than any of the rest.

Went in and found what we needed. Everything was laid out well and enjoy shopping here.

Went in two different times in the same day to get a gallon of paint... First time I was helped right away. 2nd time I stood as the only person in line while 2 employees (different from the first one) chatted. As their conversation was over they starred off into space pretending I wasnt there. The phone rang... One employee walked towards the phone I was standing next to... Didnt acknowledge my existence... Took a while of watching them stand a few feet away from me, but I finally got service. The guy in the morning was great!

From the floor employees to the management team, we always have an amazing experience! Employee Branson was very polite and helpful, when he couldnt answer all of our questions he reached out to manager Jeffery. Jeffery was a STAR, with the best team of workers. They were able to get the mower running for us, and all parts we would need to be comfortable with our big purchase. While Jeffery and the crew loaded up the mower with my husband, Assitant Manager Joshua and Cashier Juanita helped me pay. The store was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The employees at this location make it worth the drive from Linwood KS, even though there are a couple locations closer to home.

This gives you plenty of choices to customize and personalize your home.They have products from the smallest nail to whole two story sheds for your backyard. Tool selection is great as well. Although you wont find Snap on here...you will find a variety from the most basic to professional level.They also offer a rental department for your project needs. They offer trucks to haul lumber (yes they sell lumber also) as well as lawnmowers and other powered tools for your job.Have a green thumb? They also have a lawn and garden section that blows any other retail stores attempt at one out of the water.Employees are knowledgeable and friendly, as well as the customer service desk for returns or incorrect orders. They typically will make any situation right with you so you leave satisfied. I have never had an issue with customer service at this location.Get out there and finish that Honey Do list to make the wife happy and enjoy a nice cold beverage knowing that you got it all done and it was made easier because of this store. This store can save your marriage is basically what I am saying, so go check it out and have a happy wife and a happy life.
