I get no service at my home (in the Kansas City metro area). Ive spent at least 8 hours or more on the customer service line to get help; Ive been told I need a signal amplifier, been promised one will be sent to me but nothing hsppens! They promise to help but then NEVER follow through. People in the store cant help, they dont seem to care and are just there to sell. Can everyone hear me now?!?!Dont use Verizon!!!Use a carrier that listens, doesnt lie to you, and follows through with their promises to help!
Do not go to this store if you are buying phones or switching from another carrier. This is an independent store in which will charge you their own fees. We switched 5 phones over and Blake told me it was for activation fees for the phone. 527$ to transfer 5phones. Apparently this money goes directly to the store and not towards activating your phones. Our first bill is now 700$ and still have to pay activation fees. Go to 135th street or ward parkway to not have these fees.
Ian was extremely helpful, prompt and professional. He was able to switch us to new devices (with an upgrade!) with no stress. All things phone related “can” be very painful, but this was a breeze. Definitely come to this location and ask for Ian.
Got to wait 35 minutes to find out the generic information that is on the Verizon website. I attempted to ask the guy who put us in the queue to wait for help if this was going to end being the case.In response. The issue isnt the wait. The issue for me is that I spent 40 minutes yesterday trying to speak to someone at Verizons 1-800 number and another 20 minutes trying to speak to the store level (apparently the local number takes you back to the 1-800 number) in an effort to get information beyond what is on the website. If there is no more information available beyond the site (and I tried to ask the store employee before being pushed into the queue) it would have been helpful to listen to the question, answer it, and not have me wait to 30 plus minutes.
One of the workers just about ran to the door to lock it when she saw me and my wife walk up. She said they closed at 7 but I made a 7pm appointment online. The service I received was her blocking the door and offering to let us in to just look but we wouldnt be helped. Wont be back to that location, my wife wanted to switch to T-Mo just because of this incident. Just might... Negative stars????
Payton was extremely helpful, even though he is new and in training. He was extremely efficient, diligent, and communicative. He spent multiple hours with us fixing some issues (that werent his fault) and answering all of our questions. I would definitely come back to see Payton if I had another issue or question!
Allen was the best! He was very kind and helpful with adding another line to my account! He made sure we got everything we needed and made the experience fun ( who likes waiting in the phone store ) he also went the extra mile to make sure we werent paying for anything we didnt need! This guy deserves all the praise 👏 you are defiently an asset to this store and to the world in general! Sending many blessings you way!
Stay away!! I came in early in the morning for a company phone that was not working properly. I was the only customer and it was quite apparent that she did not have time to help with my problem. I completely understand company policies and protocol for what help can be provided. Phone was outside of the 30 day window to be handled in store, zero empathy or assistance besides welp you better call Samsung.Very happy my personal cell phone is through another service provider. Customer care like this and it will stay that way.
The service was terrible! All this store is good for is to buy phone or case. Rude lady and short with us. We had to go to Best Buy for help.
Ive always gone to this store for help & theyve been great. Today I was greeted with the rudest, most condescending, nasty employee Ive ever encountered. She told me what I was asking I needed to ask my friends about how to do. Amazingly when I called corporate they helped me. She gives you a bad name
I gave them a 1 rating because they have absolutely terrible customer service. I tried to go to 2 different Verizon stores today and no one in either could help me. If they don’t fix this I’m going to switch this laziness and lack of work ethic is disgusting especially when I’m paying a lot of money to have my phone . You think you would have enough time to help a good paying customer
Even that wait was a bit long (15min), but customer service was worth the wait. They make you feel like theres no one else is after me.
Was disappointed. Called to make sure local store had phones in stock or displayed before making the trip over. Was assured by National Verizon Rep (because you can not speak to anyone local) that all stores had all display models. Not true.No fault of local store. Really good people at store as usual.
Line at the door when they were opening, with only 2 staff members to help customers. It took a while to get help, and they couldn’t help me due to my account being commercial. 45 minutes wasted.
Went into our local Verizon store expecting to replace our phone, also having apple issues. So lucky to have Qwadeyza assist us. She listened to all the issues we were having, verified our plan information and had several suggestions ready. In a flash she had us hooked up and fixed. If you want on par customer service, friendly smiles and a go-getter attitude ask for Qwadeyza!!!
After confirming my appointment, drove to 95th...entire office closed. Went to Olathe office, no Android phones, couldnt help. Went to Lenexa same. All this to replace a 2 week old LG Q70. Expensive monthly bill for very poor service & phone quality.
Garbage service. I would drive 50 miles out of the way to avoid the employees here.
Not busy so was able to get in and done quickly. Friendly & helpful staff.
We attempted to upgrade our phone, the associate didnt know how to properly do it, and after wasting a bunch of time and charging us incorrectly he tells us its best to call Verizon 611 because they dont know how to do things in the store.
Walked into the store with every intention of upgrading my phone. Asked for help to measure if the new Samsung 21 would fit in my scrubs pocket, and was told that they didnt have any to try. All the examples were attached to cords. And he walked away. So, I walked away. Very sad.
Deplorable staff. Was misled and flat out lied to. Went back to retrieve previous plan and was denied. Do not patronize this store!
Sometimes I just feel pressured and upsold at Verizon which is why I was dreading this trip but I was pleasantly suprized. Amazing experience and ty.
Great store went on Sunday two girls working and manager and they were quick and efficient! Really enjoyed my time and experience! Would recommend!
This store is awful. If I was a new customer I would have canceled my service. The person that came out from behind the locked entrance was rude and wanted me to let them work with my phone outside. Outside in the heat on the sidewalk and if they dropped my phone and broke it, well I am sure they wouldnt have done a thing about it, aside from tell me I needed to use my insurance. The sales people tell you to make an appointment which you dont have to anymore. Those same people say you cant go into the store, which you can but they keep the door lock. And if you want to buy something, the sales people wont help you there either. I had to go to a different store to get my phone taken care of. I walked right in, the staff was nice and friendly, I got everything I wanted and a few other things as well. Best advice, leave this store alone and go to a different one.
Came in with a problem that they could not fix on my phone, but they were very considerate and helped me find an alternative answer to the issue I was facing.
Probably some of the most useless employees. They dont know anything. Been with Verizon 2 years and you guys cant even fix a issue the 8th time Ive tried to get it fixed.
I was lied to about upgrading our phones at this location and have switched to T-Mobile after being a Verizon customer since 1994. Beware as the stores are no longer owned by Verizon and its the wild west in terms of connecting local to corporate.
Why is it so difficult to simply have a phone connected to an existing number now days. It didnt use tp be. Seems as tho technology is moving backwards when it comes to such things
You had to wear a mask to go inside. The sales guy did nothing to make a sale. Asked what does it do, what is the difference compared to....did not explain a thing. Piss poor service.
Friendly an very helpful
Upon entering was not greeted and had a representative standing right next to me. Then sat down with my family in what looked like a child section that had child sized chairs and tablets. The tablets didn’t work no games for children no paper, drawing materials or anything. The tablets were understandably hooked to security devices. However need to readjusted for children. “Children will unplug things”.. If a store provides and sells family plans they should understand that’s FAMILIES will come to the store and should provide a positive experience for families so parents and calmly spend their money.
Excellent customer service! I set up an online appointment by recommendation of live chat rep. Brock met me at the door with a smile. The entire team was happy and enjoying their jobs. There were several customers and they were all being helped in timely manner. The store appearance was on point, modern and sleek with plenty of places to sit. I will be taking my business to this store. It is a further drive than my local store, but worth it! Thank you Brock for making sure I was in and out in no time. 😁

Took a case back for a return and was told the receipt was emailed to me. It never came and then I called the store 2 hours later and the same sales rep that took and supposedly did the return said it would get to me at the end of the day, that never happened. So now it’s been a week and still nothing and I don’t live close to this location or have time to just run right back up there so I called the corporate number and turned it in to them. The way I see it, he stole a 40.00 case from me.I would not recommend this location at all!
Brock was awesome! This is by far the best Verizon store anywhere close to Olathe area. Fast, and extremely friendly service. They seem genuine to help you the best they can!Thank you Brock for your help, A1 service!I will be a returning customer to only this location with having such a great experience.
Ronnie was amazing! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Got me upgraded to the iPhone XR and helped answer all of my wife’s questions since we were switching her from Sprint to Verizon. Highly recommend this location and see Ronnie. He’ll take care of you!
Great service! Very personable.
Went in to either purchase a phone or at least get some questions answered. 3 employees, one of them (a female) was already with a customer. The 2 others (males) were sitting at the table, doing something on their own personal phones and completely ignored me, never looked up, said hello, nor offered assistance. I thought maybe they would finish and come over eventually, but they never did. Until, that is, I pulled out a phone to take a picture and an alarm sounded. One of them did come over, to disarmed the alarm, and when I tried to engage him in questions about the phone, he told me that the phone is a piece of junk, basically a burner phone, and totally unreliable. And he said all of this AS HE WAS WALKING AWAY to go back to his phone!! He still wanted nothing to do with me, didnt try to explain, or upsell a better phone, or find out what I was there looking for....Absolutely horrible!!! Of course, I left without having made a purchase. I imagine that management hired these people to make sales. Maybe look through those applications again?
Dear Store Manager,I went into the store to upgrade to the new iPhone 11 Pro. I called ahead to confirm that they had stock in the colors I was looking for. They confirmed that they had a couple of black and maybe one of the midnight green but also mentioned that they were not allowed to tell us the exact inventory numbers for security reasons.I was quickly helped and the lady that was helping went to the back and grabbed the iPhone 11 Pro Max in midnight green and set it on the table in front of me. She started walking me through the early upgrade process and when we got to the payment information her tablet showed that I needed to pay $650 today. But on my phone I ran through the exact same process to order online and it showed that I needed to pay $260. She basically couldn’t tell me why the numbers did not match up and I was left on my own to call Verizon support. Since you can’t talk to a human at Verizon I decided to just put my name back into the queue at the store and talk to a second representative to get another opinion and get more help. Meanwhile they had to go ahead and put the iPhone back in the storage area until I had made my decision on what I wanted to do.The second representative had a quick meeting in the back with the first one to figure out where I was at and what I was dealing with. I asked if I could just walk through the process with him and see if the numbers look different or if he had any information that would be helpful. He tells me that he’s not going to show me his tablet!!!! He was being rude before I ever showed one sign of frustration to anyone. He gave me about three or four completely ignorant reasons why they have different numbers in their system instead of just being honest like the 1st rep. After about 10 minutes of him hiding his screen from me and keeping information, I just decided that I don’t care what the cost is I’ll just pay the fee and get the phone. He went in the back for at least 10 minutes and comes back to tell me that the midnight green one was already allocated to another order… The midnight green phone that was sitting on the table in front of me 15 minutes ago.... I laughed assuming he was messing with me. I said OK I’ll get one of the black ones… After spending 7 MORE minutes in the back room he comes back and tells me that they only one available is Pearl. At this point I know he’s just trying to get me out of the store because there is no pearl iPhone 11, and any sales rep that’s trying to sell a brand new iPhone to a man is not going to call the color PEARL. And if he was telling the truth he would have told me that when he came back the 1st time. No explanation, no apology, just Pearl is all we got.Whoever was the main person in charge tonight failed at their job.. And I don’t care if those phones were sold or not. The whole experience was mind boggling. There’s no way, in my lifetime, I’ll ever run into a more rude staff member than the man I worked with at this place..Hopefully this message gets to somebody that can make a difference. If you’re the store manager and you’re reading this, I would love to share my experience in person. If I can’t get ahold of anyone here I’ll just keep trying until I find somebody that listens.
The worst store to get service from. stay away from this place please, dont waste your time. i wasted most of my day trying to get new phone for one of our employees and at the end I have to send the replacement overnight.
My wife was having trouble with her phone. Avery, an employee there, was exceptionally helpful. Difficult issue but he did an awesome job handling it. Had honest advice on phones in different price ranges, and went above and beyond to get us the best deal and ultimately help get the phone we wanted when we needed it.
I was there with Carla, she was there to see about getting information on a Moto G7 Power and see about purchasing one.Upon walking in there we were not greeted and/or told someone would be right with us. (Since we were never greeted, there were no name tags, we have no idea who their names were so I am referring to them as brunette woman, bald guy, and beard guy.)As we walked in we could see there were 3 employees, one a who was already helping a customer (brunette woman), and other 2 seemed to be preoccupied with their phones and the Chiefs football game that was on (bald guy and beard guy). Yet another sales person came out from back and was leaving at the time.As we perused the different display models we found the model she was looking for. As she was checking out everything she also wanted to see how well the camera worked and proceeded to take a photo. At that moment an alarm went off which immediately put a shocked look on our faces (phone was still tethered to the attached alarm). Eventually one of the employees (bald guy) came over…still seemed to be focused on his phone)…said that it happens a lot with that phone…and proceeded to turn off the alarm. As Carla was beginning to ask the salesman (beard guy) questions about the phone he replied…”oh, it’s a piece of junk…it’s unreliable and basically a burner phone”…then just walked off. Did not ask us any questions, did not try to direct us to a different (and in his opinion) better phone, basically DNGAF about us or making a sale that day.As he was walking away Carla and I looked at each other in amazement at how well (being facetious) we (long time Verizon customers) were treated at that store. Needless to say we did not stay and wait around for the 1 sales person (brunette woman) who apparently was the only one doing any work that day. Oh, and just right before we were leaving another sales guy (bearded guy) came out from the back and proceeded to sit at the same table as the other 2 unhelpful guys and was immediately was focused on his phone. Guessing he too was not able to help us because the football game was more important.Maybe should have checked the rating and perhaps would have avoided the much less than average treatment. However, had we done that we wouldn’t be trying leaving details of our experience and trying to warn others of poor salesmanship, attitude, and etiquette. I would highly recommend avoiding this store and visit another location.PS. If I could leave zero stars for this store I would.PPS. We did visit another store….soon as we walked in we were greeted with a “we’ll be right with you in a few minutes”. We didn’t expect it but it certainly gave us a sense of relief that the previous experience was not the Verizon Norm.
Placed an online order for curbside only to find out the store is only open 1 day a week for 3 hours. How is that possible?
Awesome. This is the only store that knew anything about a product AT&T sold 3yrs ago; said they discontinued it.Service is great, tech knowledge is great, and the salesman even tried match what I was looking for with a similar product...For those of you worried about being targeted for your valuables; security at the door seems like this might be what it feels like to step in a club. Yes Im 42yrs and havent been...
Stopped Into the store to upgrade to a new phone. There were 4 employees working with other customers out front, yet all of them went out of their way to avoid making eye contact with us, say hello, or ask us what we needed. We were standing at front door for at least 10 minutes before Avery came from the back and we got checked in. When we finally were addressed to get checked in, there were three groups waiting. The queue line continued through our visit with person after person coming into the store and wondering if ANYONE was going to recognize their existence. Our tech Avery was helpful, but through my entire visit I saw the faces of all the other frustrated customers waiting to be recognized. Based on the several previous similar reviews with the same concerns, it appears that the management sees this and hasn’t made any changes. Speaks volumes as to how much they care about customers.
Went in to buy several of the arlo security cameras on 10/3/18 5:30-6pmLooked up on web for info and wanted to get more from store I have always went to. Asked Ronnie if he knew anything about them and he rolled his eyes and said “ No I don’t “ I said is there anyone in here that does cause I’m thinking of buying a few. He said; “no there isn’t, they are security cameras. What else is there to know??”Really, that’s a salesman’s answer??? That’s not only lazy but shows a total lack of respect for his job as a salesman. Rule number one is know your products. So I went ahead and asked about 6 or 8 questions about speed, battery’s, weatherproof, costs of plans, etc. what else is there to know??? Unreal! His answer was let google it. So after him reading a few lines off the web I told him I’ll just go home and purchase them direct if I can. Also I wanted to cancel a line. He told me they can’t do that in the store. I doubt that. Again just lazy.
Awesome store with helpful employees. They are knowledgeable about the products and help making a decision. Make sure you go over everything cost with them of buying a new phone. Got my next bill and I was $60 more than I was told it would be. Probably should of read the fine print.
My son and I went to the store to see about switching the phone line into his name after my husband passed away. I specifically asked to keep the same plan so the rates stay the same. I was told it wouldnt be a problem. Apparently there is a problem, that plan is no longer available. I now owe more every month. Just paid the original bill a few days ago because your representative told me Id still need to because the account number would change. I just got a new bill today owe another 228.00 by the 20th for the new account and the plan has changed and is more expensive. And I dont have the extra cash sitting around. It will take 2 to 3 weeks to get a refund from the other account. Train your representatives better. I have a very limited budget and you just screwed us over. We need our phones for work and communication. And I basically got nowhere when calling Verizon, just a Well see what can be done.
Waiting, Waiting, waiting....no help
Extremely rude female working today 9/5 asking me if I was smarter than her and that I don’t need a SIM card! Well listen B Verizon themselves told me to come get a card after being on the phone with them all day, I have to come in and deal with . Ridiculous treatment. Let me see you again. ALL of the awful reviews are TRUE. This rude human needs FIRED.
We were sold the google pixel because they said it was as good or better than any other phone. After 4 months I have to say that was wrong. Went in today to hopefully replace it with a Samsung Galaxy or similar. Was told they cant help me in the store and I have to call customer service. Called customer service. They are closed today. Thanks for the help Verizon!
Ronnie was very nice but he was extremely distracted the entire time. He kept disappearing or talking with his coworkers while putting information into the system without informing me what was going on. I wanted to trade up my iPhone 8 to an iPhone 11. He brought out the 11 and without asking bundled a screen protector and case with it. I would have bought one anyway but he didn’t consult me. My iPhone 8 was traded in and I have no clue what the value of it was put to. I got home with my new iPhone 11 to find out that it hadn’t even been activated and I couldn’t text anyone. My Verizon still showed my old phone connected to my number. They had no idea what they were doing.
I was treated so poorly by an employee who acted extremely put out by my presence. Absolutely one of the worst experiences. He was so rude and belittled me terribly. I thought about contacting a regional manager because it was so bad. The employee that answered the phone at the store near Oak Park Mall was so nice but unfortunately, this lousy environment is closer to my home. If you need help with your phone, go to another Verizon store where the employees are nicer and willing to help. I was told y the nice employee at the Oak Park location that if I go to any Verizon store, I should be assisted. Ive had very positive interactions with customer service in the past but the employee that I dealt with needs an attitude adjustment.
Ive been coming here for years and have always been happy with their service. There is quite simply no other cellular service that competes with their network, and customer service has always been good. Until today, I was never motivated to leave a detailed review. Nichole just helped me add two new lines and totally rework our existing plan, and she had everything finished by the time the first new phone was ported! She went through everything line by line, explaining everything clearly, while upgrading the insurance, data, etc. She explained the changes coming on the next bill, made sure I had no other questions, and we were set! I hope she is there for any future needs! Very, very happy!
I was a little concerned with the reviews I saw on here but decided to drop in anyways and see for myself. I have to say that the experience I had does not warrant a 2.9 star rating. First off I was checked in right away. Then Chad came and started helping me. He was very easy to get along with and was very helpful. At one point he even was gone for an extended period in which time a manager came over to talk to us. I didnt feel like I was being treated like a moron. It was a family friendly environment and I would highly recommend this store to anyone regardless of the reviews. I would also suggest talking to Chad if you do go here. Thanks again chad.
Always HAPPY friendly people.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. Nicely greeted at the door but then when I walked up to ask some questions today about switching to a new data plan and had a few concerns I was given little to no help and was made to feel like a complete idiot. I work in retail and I have some bad days and it can be hard to be super peppy all day, but this is just a sad excuse for a store that is supposed to provide great customer service, which entails eagerly answering a customers questions and showing the want to help this customer- NOT to give as little information as possible and act as if its a task to help them!
Absolutely the best customer service. Anthony and Russ helped us with patience and knowledge. Yes, it is a long wait so come knowing that, but the employees are very helpful.
Worst experience ever at this store. The manager was incredibly rude. She told us we could not buy a new 11 iphone, even though we called before we came to ask if they had any. We were ready to pay for two brand new 11 iPhones and now we want to switch companies. I would definitely go to one of the other Verizon stores if you can.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly... without making you feel like an idiot when you ask (probably dumb) questions! A little messy right now as they are doing a MASSIVE renovation, I would estimate they are operating in about 20% of their usual space while the rest is being renovated!
Staff made we wait 15 minutes to purchase a charger while they went through complete phone setups. Not so bad, but they thought it was humorous. Not the kind of people you want in customer service jobs.
Casey helped me out quickly and efficiently to get me a new Sim card. He was in charge of queue but was also helping individuals that didnt have time consuming problems in between his queue duties to get everyone in and out quicker. Im not usually a fan of Verizons customer service but today I am. Keep up the great work guys!
Was able to fix replacement phone in about 20 minutes total.
Excellent information & help with Apple phone purchase. Answered every question & very attentive. Highly recommend this store.
Have a kiosk to make it easy for paying bill
Not impressed. Checked in when we arrived, told the employee we were there to simply switch one phone for another and do any required deactivation on old phone. Forty minutes later another young woman finally called our name and switched out sim cards and did the whole thing in under a minute. WHY MAKE A CUSTOMER WAIT 40 MINUTES TO DO SOMETHING YOU KNOW WILL TAKE 40 SECONDS? No apology, no thank you for our patience. Nothing. We pay Verizon $230 per month for service. Didnt think common sense or common courtesy would be asking too much. But what do I know? Im just the customer.
We have had Verzion as our p[hone & Internet service. Except for the high monthly cost, they have good service and coverage.
Very helpful. Easy way to spend $1300.
I give this store a 0. 1 is too high. My phone has been having issues, and I just bought it in January. The person at the counter told me they only do sales and that they couldnt help me with my issue. They made no effort to assist, and just gave me a pamphlet. I left T-Mobile for better coverage and I deeply regret it. Terrible service, terrible coverage.
Dont suggest using Verizon. Members who work here dont care about you unless youre purchasing a new product from them. If you already have a phone set up and youre having issues or were told one thing yet you paid for another they dont care. The manager kyle could care less about helping customers either. After our contract is up we will be going to another provider. There are so many other options out there. They like to give people the run around and lie to customers.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I went in with a question about my bill and two employees behind the counter looked into it for me (one was the assistant manager). After many trips to the back room to use the computer to look at my bill, the ipad they had was for some reason inadequate, they were unable to assist me. These employees were unable to perform simple mathematics, and demanded the bill was correct. At this point I would consider myself a very upset customer and suggested we called customer service. Within five minutes of being on the phone with Verizon customer service they confirmed there was a billing issue and credited my account. This Verizon representative was very polite and professional during the whole conversation. As a Verizon customer for over 8 years, this in-store experience was horrible. Both employees were rude, and very unprofessional. I will NEVER go to this Verizon store again. They are very pleasant when they are selling you a $500 phone however, when you need them the most they are disrespectful. There is a reason their reviews are so low so dont find out the hard way.
I always have a great experience everytime I have to come in here. Everyones always so friendly.
Very helpful selling me products yesterday...but then I look at my receipts (they email them to you) and I was charged 100.00 more for my phone then they said and was charged 40.00 for screen protectors when he said they were 27.00. And I traded in my phone and supposedly can only use my credit towards accessories that I dont want or need. Even thou their website says I can use my credit towards anything in the store. The employees were very unhelpful and wouldnt budge. Im returning my stuff today and canceling my services. Id rather pay a 35.00 restock fee than continue my services w Verizon. I cannot stand to be deceived or lied to just so they can make a sale!
Had a great experience at the store. Customer service was very friendly. Patient with my needs Shout out to Devontre and the manager(?) whos name escapes me at the momentWould reccomend as primary store
My tempered glass screen protector broke after a year, and a young lady named Gabby saved the day. It is individuals like Gabby who make the difference in customer service and make customers want to visit your location. Keep up the excellent customer service and I will be in there with my holiday shopping list. :)
Normally I hate going into Verizon stores...they never seem very helpful. This store is that exception. Brock and Kyle got me all squared away with the mess that is the note 7 recall. They literally gave me a device of my choice to use which at all other stores I was told too bad you will have to keep your exploding phone or shut it off (which I did for a month). Great Verizon store!
Returned from Sprint to Verizon the other day. Verizon is the best. We had Devontre help us. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is the most knowledgeable, friendly person I have dealt with. He went well above and beyond exceptations. He is the best. Also, Ubald, his boss also helped us. He was great. We were treated so kindly by both men. Way to go Devontre, Ubald and Verizon!!!! Verizon, we are here to stay.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Waited for about 20minutes and still no one even acknowledged me! Total racial discrimination. Maybe they all thought since I am an Asian minority, I dont speak English! There were 2 younger gentleman just hanging out in the back hallway, clearly not wanting to come out and help customers. I wont return to this store again. So sad.
Russ was super helpful and funny. Cant say Ive ever had a better experience at a Verizon store! Thanks so much
The associate who helped me was polite, but was unable to helpe with a simple billing question. I was told to go home and manage my billing online - they couldnt set up auto pay or modifyy billing settings in the store.
Initially our interactions with the associate Ronnie were great, until 3 months later when we realized we were being charged $13 insurance for each line (3) which we hadnt asked for, accepted, or even been told about. When we contested the charges, he gave us the run-around and refused to refund us for the insurance on all 3 that we hadnt wanted. Had to demand to speak to the manager b/c Ronnie wouldnt listen to us and called us stupid. Manager only would refund 1/3 of the charges and also gave us the run-around on why he wouldnt give us the full amount, he claimed that the other 2/3 would be impossible to refund. Had to call customer service and explain everything, she agreed we were right and that they shouldnt have refused to refund us, nor should they have tacked on the insurance without us accepting it. Corporate did refund us the rest of the charges which shows that the associates and the manager are purposefully upcharging customers without their knowledge and refusing to acknowledge their own mistakes when exposed. Will not be returning to this location.
Good fast service, at the end if the day they are sales people and theyre going to try and get the most out of you
These peeps are the greatest. They remember my name and also are extremely helpful.
Pretty disappointing. Busy and understaffed, but the problem was some, not all of the sales reps attitude I experienced today and the past. It always seems difficult to get a straight answer and once we said no to any of the overpriced accessories the customer service nose dived. The phone was eventually just handed to us with no instructions on how to trade in the old phone and was told to just turn it on an activate it, then bye.
Went on black Friday, no organization at all. Some how a person that walked in 5 minutes after me and signed in after me got called before me. Area is to cramped, doing construction inside during the busiest part of the year is not a smart idea. Would go to a different store
Whenever I go to this location, there is always at least one aspect I walk away dissatisfied with. Usually there are long lines to get to sales people who make it sound like theyre fairly novice at using their own software (like Verizon messages and the my verizon app) when going in for help. The last time I went I was surprised that there was no line. In fact I was the only customer in the store while there were probably 4 or 5 sales people on the sales floor. The gentleman I had showed a very noticable lack of product knowledge. I went in looking for a hotspot solution. I asked if I could use a Samsung Galaxy S8 as a hotspot and he strongly suggested against it saying it would overheat and portraying it as an overall nightmare. After hearing this i was directed towards the dedicated hotspots where he was set on selling me a device. The two big kickers were that he didnt tell me anything about a 2 year contract he signed me up for which I knew nothing about till I got the bill. The other is that he said it would support up to 16 devices while it only supports 8.
This site has gone down hill over the last several years. Had always been my Verizon store of choice until today. No more. Greeted after about 5 minutes of waiting and checked in. One employee helping one customer at the counter. One employee helping another customer with a device in the back room. Several other employees in and out of the back room. After ten more minutes of waiting and hearing a lot of non business conversations going on I decided to leave. Clearly they have no incentive to help customers at this location anymore.
I ventured into the Verizon on 119th Street in Olathe, March 26th. I had already setup an appointment with Ubaid Rahman with the plan of upgrading my IPhone to the XS and add my wife to the plan. Our family plan already has five lines on it, and she would be the sixth. As I picked out the phones, Ubaid asked if anyone in my family was in the military? My dad was in the Navy for 18 years, so after learning that he told me of an active promotion. He explained that you must add an iPad to the plan in order to be eligible. After he broke it down, it sounded like a great deal! While I was signing paperwork, I noticed that the $40 military discount stated “3+ lines required”, so I asked to confirm that I must add an IPad to be eligible, and he responded “yes”, with confirmation from the store GM, Demetrice. After making the purchase, I called to confirm the promotion with another local store and customer service, hearing that I had basically been scammed into buying an additional device. This store had leveraged a military discount to make an additional sale. After returning to the store the next day, Demetrice completed the return for me, but stated there was nothing else he could do. He wouldn’t even refund my activation fee for the IPad.. It’s hard to believe that this is the service a Verizon store would offer, considering we have been customers for 20+ years, and have six active lines.
Devontre and Ubaid went over and beyond expectations! So happy we returned to Verizon from Sprint, Verizon is the best!
The most efficient and professional customer service. Thanks Avery!!!
My mom just upgraded her iPhone 5 to an 8 at this location. We worked with Devontre and he was nothing short of AMAZING! The last several visits I have made to a Verizon store have been nothing short of frustrating, so I wasn’t too excited to venture in. Devontre made our visit easy and extremely comfortable; he wasn’t pushy, answered all questions, was personable, and showed a genuine interest in our entire party. Through this, we ended up buying more and I plan to upgrade early; and work solely with Devontre. We could have stayed there much longer just chatting and laughing with this extraordinary Verizon team member. Outstanding visit!
Piss poor customer service. I usually leave a company who treats their customers this way. Sadly Ive tried all of the other carriers and I have to stay. I cant keep dropping work calls. A great network is NO EXCUSE for garbage customer service.
My ex had my phone cloned by someone up there or the Belton store. Terrible customer service. Three of fellas actually laughed at me. Lot of funny business going on up there. Honesty isnt their policy
We had great service, great customer experience
The girl who helped me wasnt very friendly nor did she find away to help me with my phone. All she did was give me a number to call when I got home....my phone was not able to make or receive calls at the time..
Good customer service and listened to my needs.
My phone was not operating correctly. I took it in, a man named Ronnie quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I was in and out in less than twenty minutes.
The CSR in there was very knowledgeable and found a way to not only add the 2 lines for my children, but reduce my bill as well for the same amount of data!
I would like to personally commend this Verizon corporate store for their amazing customer service.I have been going to this Verizon store for years; and I even used to be an employee for an Authorized Retailer of Verizon across town; and this store, even when I was an employee at another Verizon, would still always get my business over my own store, even.More recently; I have developed relationships with some of the staff there, due to me always having some kind of issue with if not my phone; than with an accessory; or some other type of issue that I need to go into the actual store for.I would like to personally give a big shout out to one of the members of management there, Brock. Brock has helped me COUNTLESS times, and I am someone who always has a tremendous amount of questions when it comes to me purchasing something, or being a customer. (Yes, I’m THAT guy; not to be annoying; but simply to make sure I understand what I am purchasing and how to get the most out of it).Without going too far into detail; I will say that Brock has stopped what he was doing MANY a times to just come over and say hello to me, which actually means a lot to me as a customer. I have had a few issues with accessories over the past few months; and instead of giving me the manufacturers telephone number and sending me on my way; Brock personally takes his own time to stop what he is doing and devote his FULL attention to making sure that all of my questions have been answered, and that I am satisfied with the information that he was able to provide me. Brock is certainly a huge reason that I still shop at this verizon store, even though I no longer have Verizon service. Just because of Brock and how much he assist me, and takes care of ANY issues I may have and will not give up nor send me on my way until I am fully satisfied; being someone who puts a ton of stock in customer care and how I am treated as a customer, I will say, without a doubt, that Brock is a huge anchor to that store; and if it were not for Brock, I would not be so loyal to this store.Brock is a huge asset, and I do hope Verizon actually sees this and Brock gets the credit he deserves. Brock IS this store, for lack of a better word! It truly feels nice to feel so welcomed when going into a CORPORATE store; and with people like Brock on the job; its not a chore anymore to go into the store to purchase accessories, or just ask questions about transferring my number, or just a general question about my iPad Pro and its various accessories. Brock always takes the time to help, and even when he does not know the answer to something; he does not stop working on it until we reach a resolution; and he always ensures that I am happy with whatever the resolution was. This gives me a “wow” experience, and even has me looking forward to the next time I return!Keep up the amazing work, Brock-and show the rest of the team how its done! That way maybe all of the rest of the team can eventually cultivate a fan base of their own, just by how well they treat the individuals they come into contact with on a daily basis. Thanks for all you have done, Brock! I look forward to the next time we get to do business together, friend! :)
Regardless of what your purpose of being at this store, you will wait in line behind the person who came in before you. Even if they are deciding on what phone to buy or what plan, you will wait for them to complete their visit. After waiting for 40 minutes for my turn to get helped I the clerk they need a help desk for smaller problems. He said they used to have that but management did away with it. I dont know who is the insane one here, Verizon or me for picking them.
