I have been straight up lied to and tricked into buying a vehicle over 2 weeks ago that we still have no idea when it is coming. I was told to LIE to the bank so the deal would be finalized and tell them that I had the car and I keep getting ignored and no one will do anything but tell me they are sorry and its not their fault. I am LIVID. GM and the dealership are both a JOKE with terrible customer service. I own a vehicle that I am apparently not allowed to go pick up myself and no one will get it to me. I feel like this may be theft.. I have so many more things that I WILL make public about how this deal and purchase have gone down. I will not be treated this way and just take it. I have tried for weeks to be patient and nice even when I was being ignored and treated like I was no longer important since the deal was done. No more. I will not allow myself to be lied to and taken advantage of.

I came to have my recalled Takata air bag replaced and as soon as I drove into the service bay somebody told me where to go. Chris told me to sign one paper, asked me for the car keys and told me to wait in the lounge. He told me it would take at least one and a halfhours. So I was surprised when he came in half an hour and told me my pick up was done. I signed one more paper then I was able to leave. I was impressed .Everybody was efficient, courteous and proficient and matter of fact.

I had several service items to have checked out on my 2015 Tahoe with 210,000 miles at McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe, Kansas. The rear air suspension was very rough, electrical charging issue, and an oil change/tire rotation. I called up my service advisor, Ken Archambeau and he said bring it in. Ken was knowledgeable regarding the best option to repair the suspension issue and it now rides like a new Tahoe. Ken and his crew determined it was an issue with the battery and Ken confirmed it was still under warranty and replaced the battery free of charge. All service was done in a very timely and professional manner and I continue to be extremely pleased with the level of knowledge base of service staff and the emphasis McCarthy Chevrolet places on their most valued tenured employees. When I picked up my Tahoe, Ken said he was retiring in a little over a month and I knew this would be our last service appointment together, which is kinda sad, because Ken has always had my back regarding ensuring my Tahoe was up to make trips to Lake Tahoe, skiing in British Columbia, and safely take on a wind-swept I80 in Wyoming in January. I will miss Ken, but I am confident he mentored his fellow co-workers to provide the same level of first class quality service to service customers, of which I am extremely grateful.

We took our Tahoe to them for an airbag recall. The part was backordered for over a year, but once it was available they scheduled us for next day service. We took the Tahoe in at 7am, it was done by 10:30 am! Very quick service. Friendly employees.

We had a very minor problem after our oil change. A little too much oil was put in our Tahoe and it was running rough. We called and Ken immediately asked us to please come back. Upon our return Ken and staff quickly determined the problem, fixed the problem very quickly and were very apologetic for the inconvenience. This location and staff truly know how to deliver customer service! We will be back!!!

The guys were great getting me checked in and the process of my oil change was great. But when my oil change was done and I stepped foot in my car there was oil all over my door handle and door as well on my arm rest and stearing wheel. I had to clean my car before even getting in it. This is very disapointing that I had to do this. I come to Mcarthy because I though they were a little more professional than this.

Great service. We had a few things going on one was to fix what another company did WRONG with the wheel weights, had my car shaking like crazy. Second a noise... The technician tried to find the noise that of course wont show when its at the shop and they diagnosed as best they could with our description of the sounds and location as well as the age and common issues with the year and model we own. Ultimately, determined that its probably a fan motor belt or leaking gasket. Very happy with their service and time and they got us in an out quickly.

I drove though a newly paved road and tar splashes almost completely covered my fiancés White 2021 Silverado 2500… I was about to be in DEEP trouble; that is until McCarthy Chevrolet saved the day!! They did a very good job of repairing the collision damage to my RAV 4. The paint is blended very nicely and it looks like the panels align very well.I would have given 5 stars except for 3 things. First, there were some scuff marks on the front fender which I pointed out when I picked up the car, so they buffed away the other cars paint. It was a cloudy day and didnt notice until the next day in the sunlight, but there are still scratches on the fender.Second, there is some paint chipped and scratched at the bottom of the door frame where the door was caved in to it.Third, the website states that they detail the car before giving it back to you. They didnt even make an attempt to do that. I have vacuumed out the car and will clean the upholstery myself.I figured they would be unhappy with me if I complained about the scratches and not do a good job of fixing those. So Ill just put some touch up paint and wax on them. Besides, I dont want to be without my car for a couple of days again if I dont have to be.

They tried to tell me that I needed to flush and exchange my transmission fluid. Thats it was dark and needed to be done ASAP. I checked it myself afterwards, because I had just had this done at a Firestone. Took it back to Firestone to verify. And it was fine. Buyer beware of them trying to upsell services that you dont need.

If this is strictly on the service department Rodney and Brian were on top of this. They answered all my questions kept me informed and handled stuff sales promised us but never delivered on! They did amazing work to get us our vehicle back in time to go on vacation. Rodney and Brian thank you. Sales and finance and management on sales never responded to voice mails, call backs, or attempts regarding our newly purchased vehicle. So with that service outstanding sales and finance not so much.

They also are conveniently located to the enterprise rental agency for a shuttle if you need to rent a car while yours is in the shop. I was given a premium vehicle to drive while my car was in shop which I fully enjoyed! Great experience and timely process! Highly recommend!

Ive been there 5 times so far and 3 times Ive had problems. The people are nice enough and the last time I went there werent any problems.What kind of problems? Tires not being rotated properly/at all. Alignments claimed to have been done but car still pulled with no paperwork showing the alignment was done (paperwork the boss said comes with an alignment). Or my favorite, quoting prices wrong.All in all eventually stuff will get done right if you complain enough. Better than some places that even when you complain you get nowhere. Honestly, if I didnt have to use them for my warranty, I wouldnt. But given that getting an appointment at a quality shop is so hard, I probably would still go for small stuff.Just be nice to them and understand that its a little worse than a coin flip (in my experience -5 times) if youre gonna get what you expect the first time.

But I was very disapointed for the following:- No car wash service- no ride to home/work service.- My electric car was not charged (plugged in) after service as promise.- facility appearance is pretty outdated, not many new cars for sale.- Staff not friendly. They do not appear happy.This place looks like on its way to be bankrupt.I do not recommend this dealership.

I cant express strongly enough how great the McCarthy Chevrolet-Olathe Service Advisor - Chris Legrotte was in helping me address two problems with my 2016 Malibu. It actually goes back to the sales person 5 years ago that stressed the importance of buying the extended warranty including the electronics package. Chris said he would investigate the coverage for the Check Engine light issue, and the Shift into Park warning. Despite what I had read when researching the Park issue, Chris called and said both items were covered, and he expedited the wiring harness needed, and had the car ready in 2 days so my wife and I could head out on our 50th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to the entire team.

Service was fine except we made the appointment to have a loaner car available, and although TECH it was available, we couldn’t have one because their computer system was down. After waiting almost an hour, we had to make alternate plans because I have 4 kids to shuttle around. Had to find someone to pick us up etc. Was a major pain and we had to borrow a car for the rest of day. WAY harder than it should have been and def TOO hard to deal with in busy May. We should have been contacted ahead of time no car would be available

Appt was made by service department to fix a recall of block heater. Was told by service department to bring truck in on Tuesday pm and should be done on Thursday. Thursday AM I received a call from service that truck was not ready. Was told that tech didn’t get to my truck on Wednesday and that he was off Thursday and Friday. Long story to short finally got truck back a week after I dropped it off. Scale of 1-10 would give it a 1. Have bought 4 vehicles from McCarthy’s and never had this bad of service. Was also told that if I needed my truck over the weekend I could come and get it and bring it back in on Monday. It is a 40 mile drive ( one way)

Oil change and rotated tires ok. The issue regarding the Andriod auto were brushed off as an issue with my relatively new phone which was working perfectly up to a few days ago. They said their phones worked so its my phone. T-mobile, where I bought the phone said the phone is working fine and that the problem is with cars software. Some internet research suggest that I am not alone but didnt provide any real answers. I guess from this point on I just have a very expensive am/fm radio.

Was told when I made my wait appt that I would be detained an hour. It wast was over 2. Since it was a minor and easy task, the wait time was more than twice the specified time. Either do not specify a time or be more accurate, because the time given vs time taken are unacceptable.

The guys were up front with me about costs and what my car needed. They went above and beyond for me when I was unsure on what steps I needed to take, but also how much I could spend. We bought the car on December 27th and did not pick up the car until December 31st. We found an oil leak on the car when we were looking at the quality of collision repairs. We requested the oil leak be fixed with us paying partial amount of the repairs. The car was promised to be repaired by December 30th (since they had it Friday and Saturday to complete repairs). When I called Monday they told me there was a misunderstanding and it wasn’t in the repair shop yet. They called us Tuesday evening and said it was ready. We went to pick it up and everything was great. On Thursday I took a proud picture and there was no leak. Saturday I went out to run errands and there was a large 3ft stain on the driveway that was quite alarming. I got down to inspect the stain and called Tim Gibson. He told me to bring it in Monday and they would take care of it. I brought it in Monday and they looked at it. The service guy Gary Hibdon said it was an air pocket in my power steering. They burped it and it was fixed. Tuesday I went to work and there was another stain on my driveway. I have parked three different ways to determine the location of the leak. I called Gary and he said it was a residual leak and if I didn’t believe him I could come up and walk under the car with him. I took it to a third party to get a second opinion. They found a significant freon leak (with dye, so there was a leak before), the a/c is shot, water pump leak, and fresh oil gathering on a cover on the driver side.

Poor quality of service, advisors and technicians. The service manager, service advisors or technicians were unable to provide proof of work completed after a diagnostic and payment was rendered . I requested old part I was then treated as though another problem occurred during repair of service was performed. Old part was never able to be shown. This place tried to Rip me off. Not recommended anymore. I will NEVER be back.

My car was having an issue that I had read online happens in many 2011-2015 Cruzes. Chevy had issued a special adjustment where the repair was covered 100%. But many people in the online forum expressed frustration with getting the dealer to agree that was the problem and cover it. I was nervous this was going to happen to me. But Gary listened to what I was experiencing, agreed it just needed the necessary fix and didn’t try to talk me into any additional services. His honesty and helpfulness was so refreshing and I will definitely return when I need my car worked on.

I just found out that all of a sudden my 100,000 mile warranty doesnt exist. I was obviously flat out lied to when I purchased my vehicle. That was the main reason I took the deal in the first place. Now I hear my extended warranty was 3 yr 60,000. Well my car was 3 yrs old and 39,000 at purchase. Im upsidedown in my vehicle and then to discover this lie. Ive only had my car 2 yrs yet Ive had 3 major repairs already. I feel so taken advantage of. To top it off I spent $396 in repairs just to find out when I go to pay and pick up my car I have an oil leak that no one told me about over the phone after diagnosis. How after all the so called work did they discover an oil leak. I never seen one and Ive always had my oil changed with them. What happened since they last changed my oil? Now they want me to schedule another appointment and pay another diagnostic fee to tell me where oil is leaking from. I feel as if someone did something to my car during repair. I will let everyone know NOT to come here again. I referred two people to you guys and now I regret it because my kindness was taking for weakness by your lying manipulating company. What a shame to take advantage of those who already dont have much. Im literally making $400 monthly payments on junk.

Two horrible experiences with service in a row. Im done with McCarthy. Service communication continues to be poor. Another fight about whether service is included in my lease (which it is), and service that wasnt performed correctly, resulting in a turnaround as soon as my wife left the dealership. Ive been a McCarthy customer for, literally, 31 years. John was my neighbor growing up. He should be appalled at what his dealerships are becoming. The Honda dealership across the highway absolutely blows you out of the water. I recommend you buy a car from there and experience their service first hand. They are a pleasure to deal with. You are a headache.

I had an appointment for 12:30 Monday and asked that it be completed by closing time that day. I went all afternoon without hearing a word. I texted Pedro to ask about my car and he told me that he had forgotten about it and had no excuses. He offered a rental car, but told him that wasnt necessary because I did not need it until noon on Tuesday. Thinking that my car would be priority the following morning I expected a call by at least 10 saying the car was done. NO. I had to text Pedro again at 11 oclock to check. At that point they still had not started service. I finally started getting texts from the technician about my car at 11:15 and was told in a video posted at 11:28 that it was recommended that I get a radiator flush and a sales pitch for new tires. I was also told I would be contacted by Pedro to go over this, but never was contacted. I had to send him a text telling him to top off the coolant and get my oil change and tire rotation done. I also said that I would be expecting a decent discount. I finally was able to pick up my car at 12:15, only to find out that my decent discount was a free tire rotation and 25 bucks off, still be charged a total of 61 dollars. Honestly, I feel I should have been given a free oil change for having my car longer than needed and forgotten about. I have had good service up until this point, but now second guessing going back for service. Please feel free to reach out to me if needed.

The salespeople work very well with the prospective clients. The service dept was friendly and helpful. The oil change I had done was faster than I expected. The only thing I would change would be to bring a cashier back.

Set up an appointment days in advance for the Fiancé to drop off a vehicle for a check engine diagnostic and pick up a loaner.Vehicle was 2,000 miles overdue for an oil change. Service advisor Pedro tried to push her into the cause (for the check engine light) being a dent on the rear fender. And tried to deny her the loaner that I had called and set up days in advance... ... ... the cause was a loose gas cap. Definitely feel they tried to take advantage of her lack of knowledge.Also tried to have warranty work done on a gas cap door that had failed. Should be covered under bumper to bumper warranty. Pedro stated it would not be covered due to that same dent in the bumper. But the door failed well before the dent occurred.... and the bumper and gas door are on entirely separate panels.For sure feel they tried to take advantage of her lack of knowledge to charge her crazy amounts.Wasnt going to say anything but they texted asking for a review so... here we are.

Unfortunately a vehicle accident led us to McCarthy’s body shop this time. Ed Grindel was an amazing help. Ed helped us by describing the extent of the damage and detailing the costs so we could understand as we worked through everything with our insurance company. Please thank Ed again for us. A nasty old deer hit my car on drivers side knocking side mirror totally off, leaving its hair in window rubber, putting numerous dings and dents on that side of car. McCarthy got me in within 24 hrs of my first contact. Aaron, agent, was awesome with me and my 3 dogs in the car 🤣.!!! His quote came quickly, and car was promised in 6 days. So I was elated when a call came in 3 days saying my blue escape was ready! The whole side of my car looked BRAND NEW!! They did an incredible job of fixing all the deer damage and the paint job is as close to perfection as Ive seen. Will definitely recommend and use McCarthy whenever the opportunity presents itself!!!

Gary in service and Ruben in sales were great! To be honest every employee at the Olathe McCarthy Chevy were very professional towards me. The two mentioned above really went the extra mile to take care of me. Ruben got me a loaner car even though I was happy to wait for my car at the dealership. Ruben wasn’t having it and gave me a loaner. I was able to head to work for a few hours because of that. The techs did a great job fixing the sensor in my car along with other maintenance I didn’t realize the car needed done. Gary in service made sure my warranty covered all the parts and service needed and let me know everything before work was done. I’m definitely staying a customer of these guys from now on.
