Excellent service, went in to get a headlight assembly replaced and ended up with a Anthony, the salesman, driving me in his personal vehicle all the way to lees summit, almost at closing time, to test drive a vehicle they found that fit my desires perfectly. Then when we got back the finance manager, Dylan helped me through finance paperwork very quickly and efficiently. Since the car I traded for had just been received they went ahead and put it through detailing and oil change for me, keeping me informed of progress at every step. Should be driving my new car soon!

Bought my vehicle there many years ago and have been seeing the service department. My service department representative Ken has been amazing. The problem I have is every time that I get a simple oil change. I was instructed that there was to be an alignment check. I have yet to see a check. But my main problems lie after I get my oil changed. Done within a timely manner. But I feel it can be if you skip steps. My vehicle leaves the shop and service tire light comes on. I checked my tires one is very low at 22 lb. The others are just where they were when I brought them in. It makes you wonder what else hasnt been done. I have tried to voice my concern before but the manager Rodney seems just to put me by the wayside and say words that he thinks will comfort me. Im not asking for something free. I could go to Walmart though and get an oil change at half the price but I trust the dealer, but now should i?

Called first to talk to parts depart to see if they had the part in stock in case I needed to replace. Parts guys was nice. He suggested to bring my battery in to get checked by service then they can recommend replacement for sure. I followed this direction. My husband & I showed up and went to service as instructed. We walked in and I noticed food had been delivered and everyone was getting their plates and eating. We asked about getting the battery tested and they told us to go to parts. I said we were told to come here first. There were about 6 guys sitting behind their desk eating and they all looked at each other like whose wants to help. One guy said immediately that battery is out of warranty. We didn’t say anything about a warranty, we just need it tested. Then someone said snarky, we’ll get someone to test it. While waiting, someone else made an appointment for an oil change and they told that customer we don’t do oil changes during lunch hour & told him to make an appointment. This customer said i did do the appointment online and this is the time it provided. WOW is this McCarthy’s face to their customers? Finally someone showed up to test our battery and immediately said you have bad battery, it needs to be replaced. My husband was trying to ask questions and this guy wasn’t listening. WOW McCarthy, you need to put your service dept back through customer service training. There is enough negativity in the world and your team doesn’t need to add to it.

I made a 1300 mile round trip to trade with these folks, when I arrived they were very cordial and welcoming, also the car that I went to trade for was exactly, if not better, than my sales rep Brian White had told me it was. Im awaiting my paperworks arrival, but I dont foresee any issues with that as it has been less than a week since the trade. There were no hidden charges or gimmicks during the process, and everyone was as nice as could be, so I wouldnt hesitate to business again with these folks!

I unexpectedly needed a new car and I was very overwhelmed about getting one. I called McCarthy Nissan and spoke to Grace Perry. I explained my situation and what I was looking for and could afford. Nothing in the Nissan lot worked out so she helped get me into a Chevy Equinox. From the moment I called she stayed in contact with me, letting me know step by step what was going on. She sympathized with my situation and made me feel so comfortable. I never felt any pressure from her which is something I was really worried about when I realized I needed a new car. Understaffed and rude service staff. Treat you like cattle getting pushed through a system and will take your car with no worries about if they have technicians available to fix it. Just turn away people and dont waste their time.

My son went here to get his oil changed. They came back with a list of things his car needed. One being a cabin air filter. My husband and son had changed the cabin air filter 3 weeks prior. McCarthy also said the car needed an alignment which we thought was odd because he had new brakes and alignment done at Shore tire a month ago. We took it to Goodyear up the street today to have them look over some things and were told alignment was perfect with a printout from their machine. Momma bear not happy with McCarthy.

Very pleasant experience with McCarthy Chevrolet. Anthony took care of any and all questions I had about my vehicle purchase and really went the extra mile to stay in contact throughout the process even though I lived 200 miles from the dealership, really appreciate the extra effort! Ethan took care of the financing side and was able to secure better loan options that I originally expected, took a little extra time (like 20 minutes) but well worth it. Purchased a car in February, as soon as we drove it off the lot the check engine light came on. After 8 months of playing around with their wanna be service department my husband and i decide to take it and pay out of our own pocket to have a full diagnostic done. We found out it needed a new motor. When we asked why this wasnt checked from the get go my response was i dont know. We went to a dealer so we wouldnt have any problems like this and this dealership did us dirty. Now 8 months later they are talking the car needs as much put into it as we still owe. Then the best part they wanted us to get a credit card from them to fix it..just green backs is all this place is interested in. And customer service stinks everytime we called about anything i felft we were just brushed off like they already knew they sold us a lemon..

After going through the typical run around at several different dealerships I visited McCarthy in Olathe. I had the absolute pleasure of working with sales associate Ethan. Anyone who has purchased a vehicle knows the sales associate can make or break the experience. Ethan was professional, polite, and not at all pushy. He was patient while I took the time to make my decision and was/still is, quick to respond with any questions I have. I strongly recommend visiting this location and asking for Ethan!

I had two experiences with them about two months apart that were incredibly different. The first experience I came into the shop and I needed some extensive work done. I ended up spending quite a bit of money but it was well worth it because they were complex problems. Amongst those problems was my windshield washer fluid pump. It was not working, or so I thought. After a few days of diagnosis they figured out the problem.Now fast forward to the most recent visit. Since my first visit my windshield washer reservoir has been leaking. I wasn’t sure exactly where it was leaking from so this past week I went under the car to take a look. I found that it was leaking from the pump. I took it back in to McCarthy Chevrolet and let them know that it was leaking from the exact place that they had been working. I dropped my car off at 8:30 in the morning, by 5 o’clock I had heard absolutely nothing. They kept my car overnight without letting me know that they needed to do so. I called back the next morning to find out what the status was of my diagnosis. I was told that it in fact was leaking from the pump but that was not something that they had worked on the last time I was in there. How can you diagnose that a pump is or is not working if you don’t mess with it?I was told that the repair would cost me roughly $326. That is totally unacceptable for something that they caused by working on a part. So you’re going to tell me that I’m going to come get my car fixed, spend $3000, then have an ongoing problem from something that you did and then when I try to come in and get it fixed you’re going to charge me more money? The service rep waived the diagnostic fee as if he was doing me some kind of favor. I went in there telling them what the problem was and where the problem was and that it only started once they worked on my windshield washer pump but they wanted to charge me for it.Two completely different experiences. I’m going to be taking my car somewhere else because I feel like I was being manipulated. Never again will I bring my car here.

Im giving this review 2 stars only because of the salesman I worked with was nice and helped me out a lot but as for the truck I purchased I’m not so pleased. I had the truck for 2 days and only drove it maybe 7 miles before it had to be taken back to the shop for work. It’s currently being worked on right now. I paid a lot of money for this truck and expected a lot more coming from a big name dealership. I don’t believe this truck was really looked at or driven very much before I purchased it. I worked with Jamie and he was very helpful but as far as the truck goes very disappointed. We’ll see if everything has been fixed when I get the truck back

Great place if your getting ready to purchase a vehicle, BUT afterwards need help- forget it.I have been trying for three weeks to get someone there to help figure out the key code for the tire.This is my daughters first car and she didn’t get a lock for the tires. Gets a flat she is screwed!! To me this is important!!! No one returns voicemail nor gets back to us when they say they would.

Bought a new 2020 Traverse on 11-30-2020. After about 1000 miles brakes started making a growling noise. Took to service department for them to see what the problem was. Was advised that there have been problems with the composition in some of the brake pad material. GM is supposedly working on a new brake pad with different composition material to replace the current brake pad. Have called service advisor several times to see if the new pads are available. Six months later still no fix. Very disappointed!

Best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle! I bought a brand new 2021 Silverado which has been extremely difficult to find right now with all the options I wanted. They were the only dealership that had it and didn’t attempt to charge me thousands over MSRP. My experience with the sales rep Ruben was great he was very knowledgeable about the product and made the buying process easy and not stressful. Eric in the Finance department just put the Cherry on top by working the banks and getting me an approval on the truck even lower than my own bank which I didn’t think was possible! Would highly recommend McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe!!! Ask for Ruben you won’t be disappointed 😀

Im flabbergasted as to how this dealership has good reviews! We walked in asking to see a specific car. They said well, idk if we have THAT car still (which they did) and asked our price range. Then they asked okay, but can you go up on budget? No. okay .. ill ask my manager what we have. Then they came back 10 minutes later to try to convince us to up our price range! (Not a great sales tactic when the customers are juggling 3 small kids.) Finally we are shown the car we walked in for. Test drive it, and im not in love. So they pull out their price info to show its valued at 19k just like they listed it at. Yes BUT kbb had it valued at 2k less, to which the finance manager responded with something along the lines of well, KBB is a hard platform for customers to navigate. Seriously??? I literally show them as i type it in, correctly, with every option. Then they say well, what the dealerships can see is different than what customers see. Next, they proceed to explain their $19k is based on having a $2,000 trade in, and a $1,000 deduction for using their financing, meaning the sticker price was $22k. This puts them $3k over price even against their own numbers! Maybe simple addition is just too hard of a platform for them to navigate. Customer service definitely was 🤷We had really great experiences the following week shopping at Tumminia Mazda and Olathe Honda right in that same area. And the Audi dealership in Merriam had stellar customer service, too! So many better options than McCarthy and their stereotypic used car salesman tactics and shady pricing!!

De’Marco was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was very indecisive, he was patient with me and allowed me time to see how each vehicle compared and met my needs. I left with an amazing car and completely satisfied!

I recently had an experience with McCarthy in Olathe when my oil change took 2 hours. I called and shared feedback and was promptly called back by their service manager. He apologized, agreed that it should not have taken as long as it did, and did what he could to keep my business and make it right. I appreciate their willingness to make it right.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Been looking for a specifc 2021 Tahoe for 6+ months and McCarthy had what I needed. I was literally out the door within 2 hours. Now that says alot! Easy to deal with. Highly recommend stopping by... wont be disappointed!
