The staff at this Safelite location are very friendly & helpful. They got my windshield replacement set up quickly & easily, including sending details directly to my insurance carrier. When I arrived for the replacement appointment, I was advised it might take 90 minutes or so for the completion but, I was done & out the door in 45 minutes. The new windshield looks great, the staff was efficient & very courteous. Ill gladly come back to this location in the future if I have any auto glass needs. Many thanks!

Fantastic & fast experience! My technician was Landon. After scheduling an appointment online, he called with an earlier available time. He explained the repair process and warranty to me. Both Landon and the front desk staff person were careful to offer me a good deal and asked about my insurance. Since my insurance (AAA) doesn’t cover windshield repairs, I was offered a substantial discount. I will return to this Safelite location in the future and recommend to all without hesitation. The repair looks great and the crack is less visible.

The technician was extremely rude to my wife who was at home to meet with him during the repair. The technician ended up cracking the windshield during the repair and left the windshield in worse condition then when they started. The only saving grace is that All-State did a wonderful job arranging to have the windshield replaced by Kyger Glass who has been excellent to work with.

I had my windshield replaced here recently and I would not recommend them after my experience. I gave them all relevant information including options and VIN number for my BMW. The day before my appointment, they called to verify all information so that they would have the proper windshield to install once I arrived. I took a half day off work to drop car off and wait for installation but when I arrived, the manager came out and told me that they did not have the windshield for my car there after all and that I would have to come back the next day. I would not recommend Safelite for luxury cars as they seemed confused and unsure regarding the specific windshield needed for my vehicle and now after installation, the heads up display is not working accurately in spite of having BMW dealer adjust it, BMW informed me the windshield does not meet their specifications. If you own an Acura, BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc, do not trust this Safelite with your windshield replacement

I tend to get rock chips and cracks (thanks big trucks with no covers over gravel loads!) on 435 a lot. I really appreciate the helpfulness and results from the Olathe Safelite.Pro tip: walk in or call the local number. I prefer not to deal with the 800 number operators and always get better service from the shop directly. Hat tip to Melinda and Nestor et al at this location!

Everything seems to be online, and when you call you are told to quote online. There are places in the area that are MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper and have better service. Shop elsewhere, especially if you can’t even get a real person to give an accurate quote.

One can always expect above and beyond Customer Service in this particular location. The staff is very knowledgeable, very well trained and truly are very good at what they do. The lady in the front desk is certainly the face of the house, always happy to help customers and address their needs and questions. The facilitys waiting room has a calming ambiance with availability of coffee, tea, water, TV. Bathroom is very clean. More importantly, the quality of the replace and repair services is outstanding.

They fixed my cracked windshield in a timely, quality manor on my new car.Even when I thought I had a warranty issue, they were professional and kind while showing me the features.

I made an appointment online and prepaid. When I arrived at my appointment time, Rich (Rick? Dang...) was in the lobby and greeted me. We walked out to my car and I showed him where the cracks were. He was very friendly, and explained the process. He said, should take about 20-30 minutes. I waited in-store in their lobby, which was clean and chairs were appropriately distanced. Right at 25 min, Rich comes back and says Im good to go. Exactly what I expected. The thing holding back from giving this five stars is that apparently if you do not prepay, they can apply a discount related to which auto insurance you have. Would have been nice to get a heads up about that when booking. Will remember for next time.

This is my second windshield (different vehicle) that Ive worked with Safelite Auto Glass and my Insurance Company, without a Doubt This Place Delivers What They Promise. I would check your insurance policy and see what your current policy covers regarding windshield replacement with no deductible. Most Insurance Companies offer this as a Ryder to your policy for a very small amount of money per year.

Currently waiting on my drivers side window to be fixed because it was smashed in. I got in very quickly with them and the staff is so nice and professional. Very friendly. I already know theyre going to do great work. Highly recommend them to anyone.

I took my minivan to them because of a small crack. They told me it is repairable and will hopefully make it disappear. After 30 minutes, the employee comes out and tells me because of the pressure while fixing the glass, the crack extended and became 3 big cracks and it needs replacement for 1300$. I had no idea that could happen. I wouldnt have fixed it knowing there is a risk of crack extension. This is very unprofessional when you dont tell your costumer what are the possible outcomes.

It has been months upon months and they still havent fixed my windshield. They ordered the wrong glass twice (said it was Chevrolets fault). The manager was supposedly going to handle it for me but no follow up from him and when you call you cant actually get in to speak to a human, just a recorded message that tells you to schedule online.

We have used Safelite before and this location upheld the high standard we have come to know and expect from Safelite. They came to the house and made the experience quite convenient. Friendly customer service and great job on the windshield. My only constructive criticism is, I was on hold for a while when I was sudden cut off. Called back and was again on a lengthy hold. My husband finally went on line and scheduled appointment. I really prefer customer service by a human.

Mike did a great job sealing my two cracks/chips. Called and got in within 30 minutes. Plus, they cleaned all my windows and vacuumed my floor boards!Edit to add 4 months later:Windshield has now cracked halfway across the windshield and will need to be fully replaced. This crack originated from where it was sealed.

An appointment had been made for Thursday 3 August between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. Sam the installer called me early Thursday morning to confirm his arrival. He arrived when he said he would be there. He was knowledgeable, professional and very competent. He was careful with my car, which I appreciated. Job well done!

The glass looks great! The tint blends in with the other windows and seems to be strong and holding in place. Safelite vacuumed my car of broken glass. Made everything look like new again. I appreciate their service.

Paid $150, to have a Job done on my widow. The job was not complete and one of their technician tried to steal one of my car parts. I confronted him about it, and he acted as if he did not realize it was MY part. And their manager is no better, he had nothing to say when I brought all of this to his attention. Not so much. Had an appointment for over a week and then they said they didnt have the windshield in stock when we arrived for the appointment. Check with them before you go to make sure they have the correct parts.

This place wouldn’t do my windshield because of an unwired bracket to a pod light. I took the pod light off and brought it back. They still wouldn’t work on it because the bracket was still on. I unwired the bracket and brought it back... they still wouldn’t work on it because of the bracket. This place is a joke. Never go here.

I called late afternoon and they had me scheduled the following day at their shop, the got me in and out quickly and the techs here were extremely nice and helpful explained everything and even vacuumed out my front floor boards and seats. They even gave me a deal on Bosh Icon wiper blades they had extra from last year (a month ago) but you gotta ask about them when you arrive. If ya ask for them when ya setup your appointment youll get charged full price (because your calling the HQ dispatch number not local). They seem to have any windshield in stock and if not they will have it the following day.

I spoke with a Chante (Shante?) this morning. She went out of her way to provide a great experience. She conferenced in my insurance company, stayed on the line, and answered questions I wasnt sure of. I asked if I could expect the appointment before three and she offered to call the gentleman replacing my windshield to confirm and she called me immediately after confirming with him. She was pleasant, kind, and made sure I had all my questions answered. She worked well with my insurance company and fought on my behalf. I work in customer service myself and it made me evaluate my own service in hopes that I can be as great as she is. Thank you for making this experience wonderful!!

I brought my SUV in to have the windshield changed. They had called me the day before and let me know that everything was good to go. Upon arrival they ran a half hour late and then notified me that they couldnt do the work unless they replaced all of the trim around the window. At no point did they notify me that this would need to happen. The worker kept making up excuses as to why they couldnt do it. The staff came across as extremely incompetent and I am extremely disappointed with the experience and I wont be returning.

Turned a tiny chip into a giant crack with their repair, then acted like it was all hunky dory. The contract you sign doesnt tell you that they arent liable for the extra damages either, nor did they explain it to me. Informed me Its on their website. Felt a little scammy. Edit: for owners response, I was never informed of that possibility, maybe they are supposed to, but they didnt. I was told after the fact that I should of looked at the website even though I went to the shop and not through online. The form I signed says nothing about it either, I have it still as proof. You being dismissive of the problem shows where this comes from, the top down. Like I said its a little scammy.

I came here to get a chip in my windshield repaired. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Windshield looks fantastic. Service was excellent. Even got my windows cleaned and floorboards vacuumed.

Had a windshield installed a month ago, the tech did a horrible job. Took it back to the location on 118th Renner and they are the best! Nestor reinstalled my windshield and cleaned my car. Got me in and out. Melinda the lady at the front desk is awesome and so sweet! All were very friendly. Id recommend them. They fixed the horrible job another tech did and I appreciate it.

Wouldnt stand behind work, windshield cracked in less than a week. Tech guy who installed it came out and said it wasnt his fault! Talked too manager after huge hassle, he too said it wasnt their fault. Tried to save money by going here, ended up costing us a lot more in the long run. If you have a tougher window to install, Id recommend going to the car dealer, someone with more experience with that make.

Reception was very nice. They told me that it would take 2 hours and I was ok with that. After I got my vehicle back, I started on my way home. A piece of molding started coming off with the wind. Service excellent locally. Tried to make phone reservation and the operator tried to send me to a shop 17 miles away. We have one 3 miles from our home.

I had to get my back windshield replaced after a storm caused it to shatter. Due to my work schedule, I had to drop it off prior to my appointment. The employees were very courteous and professional. They even had it ready early for me. The only thing keeping me from ranking this a 5 would be that I had to drive with a broken windshield to their service shop because there was a 7 day wait period for the on-site repair.I would definitely go back to the shop, although I hope I dont have to anytime soon.

I had two small chips in my windshield, they were not completely through the glass but recognizable. Just to be on the safer side, I did not drive car for 2 days after the windshield was chipped and took it for repair at Safelite as the appointment was after 4 days. I was happy as it was repairable and they quoted me pretty good deal. I was told that the chip wouldnt completely go off, but itll go 95% and therell be smudge which will be visible. I was fine with the smudge but now after 2-3 days, I am able to see the chip clearly as it was before only difference is that I can see the chip filled with their some solution in it. This is not 95%, this is 20%, I can clearly see the crack and chip. Wont recommend going here for windshield repairs unless youre replacing youre windshield completely. I have attached photo of my repair in a review on their website. Most of the reviews here and on their website are about windshield replacements and not repair, well you cannot judge their work by just putting a new windshield on the car.

Drove in to get a windshield chip looked at. Got thorough answers to our questions. They worked with us and our insurance right then and there and got us repaired and back on the road in less than an hour.

The experience was wonderful, I could not believe, Amir, showed up on time on the Saturday morning at my home and was finished in just over an hour. I took my car in to get the windshield replaced and it couldnt have been any easier. Dropped my car off and within an hour and a half it was finished! It was rainy the rest of the day after i picked up my car and my window was leak tight!

The price was good but they forgot to tighten my windshield wipers which I needed 2 hours into our road trip when the storm hit. Of course a wrench was nowhere to be found. I will say that Safelight tried to help me resolve the issue but ultimately I had to hand tighten and jimmy rig it to work. Pretty disappointed with the level of attention. For instance they vacuumned the car but did not clean up the huge mess left on the dash from the install. Made me scratch my head a bit. I will be thinking twice before taking my car back.

All I can say is wow between Melinda customer service and Amirz work installing the new side passagner window on my Pontiac Vibe. I was blown away that day with the friendlyness all the way around. I came in very upset from the days activities that day. Anyways I would recommend then 110% as you always can get same day service there.

Disappointed to say the least! Sustained a huge crack in the windshield of my Audi one week after purchase. I have struggled with selecting a vendor to replace it as I wanted it to be done RIGHT (of course). Finally settled on Safelite in Olathe on Saturday morning (17th) at 8 am and all seemed well until I drove away. The appointment setting process was smooth and easy. The folks at the Olathe location seemed friendly enough (other than the fact that they were late opening) and seemed confused. The install took exactly the 2 hours they promised. The facility was comfortable and clean. The turned the car back over to me at 10:00 I quickly glanced at things and everything seemed to be in order. I left there and immediately went by the bank that was 4 minutes away. When I left the bank, the sun was shining a bit more and I decided to look closer at the windshield. I immediately noticed that the weather stripping at the bottom edge of the glass was folded under the glass in 2 or 3 places and the cowling that sits below the glass had not been pushed in all the way across. Most bothersome to me was that at the drivers side corner, there is a 2 mm gap between the edge of the glass and the weather strip. I immediately drove back to the shop. The first guy I talked to looked at it and said we will probably have to replace it but he wanted to get the installers opinion. The installer came out and looked at it and immediately began making excuses saying it was because it was an Audi and that if he did 100 of them then 99 would look that way. UNACCEPTABLE! It did not look that way when I brought it in and I will not tolerate it looking that way now. He argued with me that he has been installing glass for 40 years! WHO CARES, THIS IS DONE POORLY! He asked what I wanted him to do and I simply said that I want them to make it right, whatever that takes. Reset the glass properly or replace it, just do it right! He then said that his manager is on vacation for a week and I would not be able to talk to him for a week. WOW. Not the best service after the sale! I will be happy to update this posting if they make it right but I was shocked by the dismissive attitude of this guy. BEWARE of this place if you expect things to be done with care and attention to detail. In the end I believe that they simply set the windshield in crooked. The gap at the top of the windshield is off on the drivers side equal to the gap at the bottom.Update to Review: After some follow up with the local manager and another couple of trips back to the shop my faith has been restored. Melinda (reception) helped me a lot and after I explained my situation she recommended that I visit with Nestor (Installer) about my glass. Nestor took a look and immediately identified that most of the issues were a result of After-Market Glass versus OEM. He assured me that the glass was safe/water and air tight but if I wanted it to look as good as original I would be better off with OEM glass. I opted to have it replaced with OEM (Safelite did eat the cost of the original after-market glass which was awesome). My one condition was that Nestor be the one to install the glass as I had a lot of confidence in him versus original technician. They agreed that Nestor would install.Very long story shortened just a bit, the OEM glass came out PERFECT! Nestor was amazing, both in his ability to communicate the issue and to make it right. I ended up being very happy with the installation job by Nestor, he is a highly qualified technician. I will use Safelite again in the future as long as Nestor is around to do the install. Too bad I didnt have him involved from the beginning.
