The truck driver blocked our 30 foot wide driveway and wouldnt back up a foot so we could pull into our drive, instead he got out of the truck and pull the tarp off the sod and proceeded to fold it in the middle of the road making everyone else wait. I also found out later that our contractor had asked him to move the sod pallet to another area closer to where it was being laid but decline. Another contractor on sight said it came across as the driver didnt want to talk to him because of his race. The sod itself was very dry and some looks dead already. I would not use this company again.

They are the sod company our builders used, with the contract on our home it only Included sod for the front yard and two rows on the back. I opted to not pay the up charge to have it completed. We moved in our home in October. There was trash under the sod, we removed, it was horribly uneven and not level. I called the company to get quotes to have it finished; the guy I spoke with was extremely rude, since the job wouldn’t be big enough for delivery.Luckily I found a different company, and finished the yard. Now we are in the first spring in our home, the sod laid by Green Acres is full of weeds and crab grass, basically dead and bare in many spots, not greening up and I’m having to over seed or purchase additional sod to replace what was laid. Meanwhile the other sod from a different company, is thick, evenly laid, greening up, and thriving.

Ive bought small loads of sod here a few times and every time I get great customer service and a friendly smile. He loads your sod for you...that sod is heavy. He is the Man!
