I have had 2 or 3 interactions with Summit now since purchasing a used Summit lathe. Each time they have been very knowledgeable on what I have been asking and very polite. 5 out of 5 so far. Keep it up.9/27/19I had to call them again. I thought I had a major problem with my lathe. Ronnie Friar (their old equipment specialist) put me at ease and quickly diagnosed my problem over the phone. He did take a coupe of days to call me back, there is only one of him and probably thousands of old Summit machines still in service, but his expert knowledge got me up and running again in no time.Thank you again!
Very unprofessional over the phone. Refused to give basic info about a part Im looking to check compatibility on. Lots of moaning and groaning from the employee I was talking to. You just lost the opportunity to sell us on upgrading our tool room in a month because your parts and service rep didnt feel like being a professional when i needed something small. Not dealing with that!
HAD ORDERED A MOTOR AND IT DIDNT WORK. I WENT AHEAD AND ORDERED ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE I NEEDED IT ASAP. SENT THE FIRST ONE BACK AND NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE FIRST MOTOR AND WILL NOT REFUND ME MY MONEY..EVEN AFTER I BOUGHT A NEW BEFORE I SENT THE FIRST ONE BACK. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK AND FIND SOMEONE OTHER THAN SUMMITT MACHINE TOOLS TO ORDER FROM. WHAT IF IT HAD OF BEEN A BUNCH OF MOTORS? REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY JENETTE PETERSEN.
Always quick to respond! Always knows what Im needing!
Rlly bad service!
