My wife loves this store. MIL bought her some charms and a chain several years ago and the clasp finally broke so went in to buy a replacement and while they dont carry that chain any longer, I got her a new one and my saleswoman sent the old one to be repaired so it will essentially be like new again which will make my wife super excited and therefore make me happy.
Horrible. Horrible experience. I walked in to get a gift card for my mom. I had just gotten my nails done. On days when I get my nails done I always wear comfy clothes, so that Im relaxed and the pants are easy to pull up for when my feet are soaking. So, I walk in wearing my sweats and a tee shirt. Both of the women gave me nasty looks. I immediately felt unwelcome in the store. They didnt bother helping me when I was walking around the store and they didnt assist me at the counter while I was waiting. The lady was only polite to me after I paid for the gift card. My assumption = They looked at me and thought I was too young and broke to be in there. The reality = Customer service representatives are only nice to money. Dont Judge A Book Ladies. I dont look like much on nail days, but I wouldnt have walked in the store if I didnt have any money.

Took FOREVER to get waited on and check out with only 2 customers ahead of me and 2 sales clerks. In their defense, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THEIR WI-FI!!!! Its always been bad but now it barely works. They seriously need to consider going back to hard wired cash registers and get rid of those stupid iPads. I hate to even think how Christmas shopping will be....I wont go near that store.. . .
Did you know that despite the 60 day return policy on the back of the receipt, Brightons real policy is no returns after you have worn the jewelry? I bought a watch that was defective and kept falling off (the release mechanism that allows you to put charms on would release at the slightest pressure) and they would not return it or exchange it because I had worn it. The manager said all they could do was send it in for repairs (not even give me a new one). I threw a fit and they finally let me exchange it, but there is something seriously wrong with a company that does not allow returns or exchanges. I was so happy when we made our initial purchase, but because of their no return policy and the way they treated us (like we were the ones who were unreasonable!) I now have a bracelet that makes me mad when I look at it. I am done with Brighton forever.
