This store is one of my favorites. Their inventory of wood, supplies, and tools is among the best. I also appreciate their willingness to share their knowledge with their customers. I will continue to shop there.

Third time I’ve actually been in the store. Great selection of items. However the service is horrible. Each time I have been I get no greeting and have to wonder the store to find what I need. Seems the sales help just want to sit up front and talk. When I couldn’t find what I was looking I had to finally ask. When I did they seemed annoyed that they actually had to do something, like go in the back to get the item that wasn’t on the floor. The other item I was looking for the salesman kept telling me they didn’t have one as much as I tried to tell him the web site showed they did. He finally looked it up and sure enough they had 2 back in the stockroom. Buy this time he was not pleased he had to go back to the back room again and miss what ever they were discussing when I came in.

I went in to browse gouges and carving knives for spoon carving. I had a few questions about sharpening my current gouges and staff were very knowledgeable and willing to help. All my questions were answered, they were very nice and selection variety was good. I would recommend anyone interested in working with wood to visit them.

The staff is very friendly and Is knowledgeable about there products.

We love the service here. They keep a great array of exotic woods in stock and the gentlemen that work there are a pleasure to visit.

Today was the first day I had ever been in the store. I am a novice woodworker and I was very happy to finally find a place where I could get the things that I need. It was awesome to go to this store today and see all the thousands of things I would love to own. I had a great first experience in the store however, one gentleman was a little grouchy and made me feel like I was annoying him with my product questions and it seemed like his answers were different to the same questions that I asked another employee later on. But with that aside the store and amount of products made up for his attitude. Hopefully next time I can have a better experience.

Great store. Ill be back. Most of the old guys that work there are full of knowledge. You just have to catch em on a day they want to share it.

Woodworkers’ paradise. This where I buy supplies to build wooden toys for the less fortunate kids. Very knowledgeable staff. They are experienced woodworkers. It’s worth the trip.

Perfect example of why brick and mortar is dying, arrogance!Started a new and larger project than I’m used too, went here for my supplies even though it costs more as I figured having a resource nearby would be good.It wasn’t until I wasted quite some time and money on their advice that several of their employees admitted they didn’t know how to help me! Fortunately I was working slow enough that my black walnut table wasn’t completely ruined.

Store is full of great stuff. Prices are high retail. The majority of the men working there are probably nice people but terrible at customer service. They really seem to not want to be bothered. They also talk to you like you know nothing. Spend your money there if you want to. Look around, its a nice place to look. Dont expect a Panera type of customer service. Ill pay the high prices for good service from a brick and mortar. They just dont earn the markup.

Really a good store with wide selection. Have items the big box stores will not have. It targets the person who likes to create quality items. Service was good. Prices are higher and not competitive with online retailers. Understandable.

Loved this store. I took a class here with Jim on how to do hand cut dovetails. Jim was very knowledgeable and patient with me. He answered all my questions. After the class, I perused the store. The selection is great, but the prices were very high. If you can find the product at another store, go there to buy it. But they have stuff you wont find at other stores.

Nice store with good selection. I have taken 2 classes there and have enjoyed my time of instruction. The only bad thing I could say about woodcraft is the hand planes are not Lie-Nielson.

Huge selection of blanks and other wood. Very friendly staff and many options on every tool in the store.

National chain store whose employees actually know what theyre talking about, and are friendly and helpful.They stock a wide variety of woodworking supplies from the usual to the locally hard to find, including a fantastic selection of General Finishes brand stains and finishes...absolutely the only place locally to get a gallon of Java gel stain, and at time of purchase was $20 cheaper than what it was selling for on amazon. I will say that the usual supplies, sanding blocks paper etc is more expensive than box stores, online sellers, and Walmart of course. Would have been 5 stars if locally owned as opposed to a chain.

The guys who work here are always 5 star guys. Ive been in here hundreds of times and have purchased many tools here. Some of the items they have can only be found at a Woodcraft store. I have to knock off a star for the extremely high price of their wood. Im a remodeler by trade and their wood is more than double what any lumber yard will sell it for and that when Woodcraft has it on sale. They do stock some very exotic species that cant be found many other places, but if it can be purchased at a lumber yard or even a Big Box store, it will be less than half the price of Woodcraft.

Ive just started taking on projects that are a bit harder than what Im used to. I found a kit on the internet that I wanted, and called ahead to have them save it for me. When I got there, I did some other looking around, and when I was ready to check out, Mike asked me some questions and showed me another way to go about it, and sold me some other items that he thought would work better. I may have paid a little more, but it was worth it to have Mikes help. I will def be a customer again in the future.

This Woodcraft has the Tulsa store beat, hands down! I’ve been in a handful of times. I’m a rookie and have no problems sharing that with staff when I ask questions about products or anything related to woodworking.Recently, I bought a high end jig to make box joints. I struggled with it and could not get them right no matter what I tried. I’ve made box joints successfully using a shop made jig a few times before buying this one but for the life of me I couldn’t get them right.I tried calling the manufacturer and I never received a call back from what I believe is their only tech support person.So I called the store, fully expecting them to blame it on operator error. I spoke with Brian for approximately 10 minutes. He was very attentive. He asked questions, verified I was setting it up correctly, etc. in summation he felt like I may have gotten a bad unit. He said I could bring it in for a refund or exchange. I explained I lived an hour away and couldn’t make it that day but I could send someone in the morning. He said that would be fine and we hung up.When I sent someone to the store the next day, the replacement unit had been pulled from the shelf and was labeled and waiting at the front. After we hung up he took the time to make sure he had it and pulled it, leaving a note because he wasn’t scheduled to work that day and didn’t want us to have to explain all of it again. Clearly above and beyond! He could have just said “ok” and went on about his day after we hung up but he didn’t. This store needs to teach the Tulsa store how to treat customers. Great job OKC WOODCRAFT!
