In a plain old little building on may avenue this treasure is sitting just waiting for you to go inside. We walked in to the best aroma. It smelled like toasted spices and onions carmalizing. We saw the desert counter first and were excited to try the baklava. I was there to shop not to eat though. We bought beautiful fresh Persian cucumbers, Valencia oranges with stems and leaves still on them, and a big slice of beautiful brie cheese recommended by the employee. The orange was absolutely delicious so sour and smelled heavenly. Havent used the brie or cucumbers in my recipe yet but I know it will be good. We will be back for sure.

I have been going to this place for nearly 30 years.Just go there, order the falafel sandwich with a side of dolma (grape leaves) and I promise you will not be disappointed.This is my far the best place to get a falafel within the state of Oklahoma and pickled turnips are the best I have had the world.Highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite places in OKC. The selection of deli meats and cheeses is unrivaled in this area. Ive expanded my palate just by proximity.Their list is expansive and fresh and youd be crazy to not try some things youve never had before.The grocery section while physically small has an incredible selection of imported foods as well. The small but full space reminds me of a New York bodega but cleaner.The best part about this shop are the employees. Some of the nicest and most attentive people youll meet. They will accommodate and answer any question. If they dont know theyll try to find someone who does. If someone overhears you they will jump at the chance to help out. The shop was never empty in my visits, but youd think it was by how willing everyone was to get you whatever you were looking for.Two of my favorite things to buy here (aside from the deli meats and cheeses) are their breads and the canned hummus. They have a bread for pretty much any use. I primarily buy they sub rolls but you can find all manner of bread. The canned hummus is excellent because it provides a clean pallet for you to add your favorite flavors and the breads come in all types, shapes, and sizes.If youre in the area I cant recommend this place enough, and if you arent it might be worth the trip.

I went today after a long time ( beginning of pandemic) the place looks very good, managers/owners are nice and friendly, Go check it out its an Oklahoman place you must visit. I worked there for a long time! and finally went and visited today! Great staff from different parts of the world, they are friendly and very helpful if you ask them a question.

Ordered the pastrami sandwich and was not impressed. Very little meat on a bun that was tough to chew. The five bean salad was good and I recommend it. Butsandwicwasandwichnot

First time in the shop today. For a small store they have everything you can imagine. Including a fantastic lunch counter. I tried the Gyro (just the sandwich) and a side of Baklava. Absolutely delicious! The gyro was different than any I’ve had before and I’m hooked. I ate most of it before I remembered the sauce. The sauce was amazing too. I now love both kinds of gyros and I will be back for sure. The baklava was perfectly chewy and crunchy. I’m stuffed and but already looking to go back. Thank you for an amazing store.

REALLY good gyros. Getting here is weird since you cant turn right where the place is, however, great food and selection of deli meats, goat cheese, spices, etc... Definitely will be back and update an easier way to get here ;)

Great find! I had found this import and deli because I was searching for a rare goat cheese (mizithra) and not a single larger or smaller grocery chain within a 15 mile radius could get it. I ended up finding this place and came into the store happily surprised due to the large imported goods and food they had.The picture I attached are of the good I thought were less common and of interest to some.

Came here with a large group for lunch and, of course, there wasnt a lot of room for us because theyre so popular! The staff, however, was extremely accommodating and quickly cleaned up their patio for us. I got the Italian sandwich with a side of hummus and pita. The sandwich was great but the hummus was what made the meal for me and Id highly recommend it.The store itself has a lot of goods available that you cant really find easily in the city! What really caught my eye were the snacks and sweets they had which are expensive to buy at candy stores.Its just a neat place to visit in general and Id encourage people to go at least once to try it out!

New ownership has only improved this wonderful restaurant. It has retained its charm and the amazing Mediterranean food we have come to know and love. And they have begun to offer some new desserts that are absolutely amazing.

Great place good selection my only critique would be if you order cured meats at the deli watch the young man who is cutting and packaging it because he’s not very knowledgeable and you’re probably not gonna get what you think you’re going to get and you won’t realize it until you left because I order and then I shop my point being is take the extra time and watch to make sure you’re getting what you’re paying for and check the receipt

Service was friendly, but was shocked that I was given an option to tip the staff for doing my own grocery shopping. Seems weird and this is only with the new owners. My family has gone to this store since the beginning and were very close with original owner.

A total of 6 customers in the store. There are more employees (7) than patrons. I just stood at the deli counter for 8 minutes, while the clerk rang up the 3 ladies that were behind me and did not even acknowledge me all while they continued to shop. Do not waste your time here because apparently they do not need your business or maybe just not my kind of business.

I went there yesterday to get some coconut macaroons. I have tried them before from the same place and I liked them a lot, they tasted delicious. The ones I got yesterday were dry, did not taste the same and looked like they had been there for some time( i did not notice that when i was there).

Good food and the little shop holds some Mediterranean products and spices. I really enjoyed it. The only reason for mark down was everything was served in styrofoam...which is good for Covid but so bad for the environment. So really they get a 4.5

Atef is the good father and the magician of Oklahoma you just dream of any item you need and you will get it sooner.. most of our groceries from Atef.. Long Live Man, Good place and everyone there is very nice.

Always good service and thats what I like about that place. A bit pricey for what they have but its worth it because the service is great. Sometimes you have to compromise to get the service you need instead of waiting or having to do it yourself like most of the stores now its annoying.

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Im surprised this place doesnt have a complete 5 star rating. The Hummus is the best Ive ever had! The prices are great and I absolutely enjoyed everything in the store. I stocked up on so many things. This is definitely my favorite store since moving from Dallas. I live 2 hours away and sometimes I make the trip just for this place. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. The owner is very helpful and friendly as well. Again I cant say enough good things about this place, its definitely a gem. I would give more stars if I could.

Visit here often one a week at list, great fresh mint leafs, and other vegys, they have here most of the traditional food I use to eat, like Labne, Hallumi cheese 🧀, great olives collection. Great lunch foid great home made salads, special if you eggplant person.. Very nice stuff and so friendly.

Good Mediterranean food, reasonable prices, and friendly/helpful staff. Bonus is the grocery section to get all your specialty groceries, deli meats, spices, variety of cheeses, and a variety of olive options. No matter how many times we go back we are never disappointed. Really like this place. Be warned though on Saturdays around lunch time this place is packed!!

I love this store and restaurant . Very nice and different food and products in store. Middle Eastern food and more than basic selection of items for sale. They have nice Delly with Salamis, hams, several kinds of feta cheese and numerous olive variety. Plenty of other European and Arabic style products. I visit this place frequently and enjoy their food and buy all kinds of stuff.

Absolutely love this place. They have a huge variety of meats and cheeses as well as many European products. They also have a nice produce section. To top is off they have great pricing. I highly recommend this place.

Great and I mean great food! I highly recommend the potato salad, tabouli and baklava. They have a good selection of hard to find grocery items as well. I love their little cucumbers and when they have pomegranates in, they are very inexpensive.

Reasonable prices on pretty much everything. Attentive workers. The owner is a guy who would go above and beyond to get you what you need. If he doesnt have it in the shop he special orders it. I have him order many things in the past. They all came in on a timely manner. Their food are decent as well. Note that their kitchen closes at 6 pm.

I have been traveling, and wanted a good meal to get a break from the road. Mediterranean Deli was a most excellent stop. The smell of fresh authentic foods was almost overwhelming, in a good way! The variety of products on the shelves was great stopping for a vegan traveler! A must stop for anyone!

Great selection - specialized in middle eastern/Lebanese foods, also wide selection of other specialty/imported items including but not limited to specialty deli meats and cheeses. One of the few places in the area to get bulk Mediterranean/middle Eastern olives. In store and carry out dining (food is good AND authentic - counter ordering/table service is limited...) Not the most comfortable on site dining, BUT FOOD IS WELL WORTH the visit

Seriously the best Mediterranean lunch in the city. All the foods are bursting with flavor. I especially like their take on the falafel sandwich and the Mediterranean platter. The grocery selection is high-end luxury foods that are still accessible. The cheese selection is large and the prices are the best. Usually $2-$4 less per pound than Whole Foods for example.
