Went with some friends from my culinary class today. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The shop was clean and stocked with numerous spices, dried herbs, seasoning blends, oils, vinegars, jams, and recipes. You can also create an account with them as part of a loyalty program. It was a really fun experience and we look forward to going back.

The Savory Spice Shop is a wonderful little store that has all sorts of spices, sauces, and blends. Their staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and immediately offered a tour of the layout. There are a number of options for spices (both blends and individual). They have raw local honey, spicy options, specialty salts, and more. They also sell in larger containers or the more traditional spice jars. Lastly, the prices are perfectly reasonable, especially for a boutique. Ill be going back for sure!

I love this store. Ive gone here for years. They always have fresh herbs & spices and friendly staff. A HUGE selection of everything you can imagine. They have spice blends too. The staff is super knowledgeable and amazing. I will continue to get all of my herbs and spices here.

I have shopped here for over three years now and always find wonderful new blends as well as my favorites. Its simply the best selection and the freshest spices you can buy. I had Kate help me this visit and what a delightful, knowledgeable young woman. She greeted every customer when they entered, as well as spreading Christmas cheer and fun while I was shopping with her help. I love our local shop. The only complaint I have is the Cuban bean soup. I have to say it is wayyyy too salty. Everything else I have bought has been great, and the people in the store super friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. Whether I just feel like browsing or have a specific item in mind they never disappoint. I have visited multiple times and the staff are always pleasant- greeting you as soon as you come in. There are testers so you can smell and taste the spices before purchasing. They also have free recipe cards to inspire your cooking! The kits offered make wonderful gifts, and if the recipient loves it but lives it of state they can reorder online. And sign up for the rewards program!

Great place to get all sorts of specialty spices, powders, extracts, and mixes for cooking and baking. The people are super friendly and helpful, and they make samples from their spices to share with customers. My first time had Thai coconut curry and Black Onyx Lava Cake, second had oatmeal cookies that were bomb. Plus they have recipe cards and premade mixed spices that tell you how to make meals and what extra ingredients you need for easy meal plans.

I love this place! Its a cooks dream! They have all the fresh spices and seasonings to make your savory dishes into your personal masterpieces! They have a large list of salt-free spices and seasonings that you dont see every day. Everything seems to be fresh and pure and reasonably priced. The two ladies I visited with are very knowledgeable and very helpful as well as being very cheerful and seemed to be happy to work there. Give them a visit, you wont be disappointed.

Its always the season(ing) to go here! Delicious savory and sweet flavors for every type of cuisine and curated with care. You can taste your way through the store and find shelves of salts, sugars and spices from the Far East and the near West. I always find something new here including tomato powder, which is my new fave way to make tomato paste and ditch cans of tinny tomatoes. And if you arent sure, a friendly face and spice testers will lead you to a great decision. They also carry grinders, seasoning cellars, cookbooks, gift sets and gift cards. Best place to get a small quantity of spices for a specialized recipe and replace the old spices in the back of your spice cabinet.

It is entirely possible that one would think that a shop devoted to only spices would be aloof and pricey. Nothing could be farther from the truth. This place is a treasure trove of not only hard to find spices, but rich spice blends and combinations to astound the senses. You are allowed to sample every offering. We were warmly welcomed when we walked in the door, and since we had not been there before were given a brief verbal tour of where things were, and then we were turned loose to wander. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention friendly. The prices were so reasonable and fresh. The location is very handy on Western, in the heart of things. Their combination local blends were quite an adventure, and we bought several. The space is well organized. We had a wonderful time. In the past I have mail ordered my spices from a well-known outlet in Wisconsin, with whom I have been very pleased for the past 15 years, but they have nothing on Savory Spice Shop. The quality there is the same if not better, and it is such a delight to walk through, smell, and taste rather than purchasing such aromatic items out of a catalog or online. This will be my new place to go for all of my spice needs from now on. Just sorry it took me so long to discover it.

Havent bought spices any where else in years. The recipe spice packets are amazing. They take me out of my cooking comfort zone. Worth the drive no matter where you live.

My wife and I really like this place. We have several jars of different spices from here in our cabinet. They had a date night a few years ago that my wife and I went to. We got some hands on experience in cooking with spices along with some other couples. Everyone enjoyed it. Unfortunately for us the next month they doubled the price and that was the last time we ever heard about it. They should bring it back at a reasonable amount. More people would be interested.

This is my new happy place. The staff is super helpful, or not if you want to wander by yourself, everything is avaliable for smelling and tasting, and the prices are reasonable. They were really great about explaining everything and even gave me brief lessons in several of the things I asked about. I love her philosophy of replacing my older spices a bit at a time. The vibe is very low key and peaceful.

Although the products are a bit overpriced compared to say amazon wholesellers, I do not mind because the service, selection, cleanliness, and knowledge of the staff more than makes up for it in comparison. You can even taste things you arent familiar with before you buy no issue. Their loyalty program also essentially comes out to a 10% off over time.

EVERY TIME WE GO IN...We are always greeted and told that they would be right with us. I dont care if there are 5 people in there or not. They do that every time. And they do get right with the customers. There is one lady that has been there for at least 4 years.. she is so helpful and will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need before you leave! We havent seen her the past two times we have been in. Hopefully she will be in the next time we go in. We may only need a couple of things but we usually leave a couple (or more bags) later. My boyfriend LOVES this store!
