We always have a good experience with Master Services! My mother-in-law has been using them since 2009 when she had them install a chimney cap and a new damper. Since then weve used them every couple of years for regular chimney inspections and cleanings. This year we decided to switch from wood burning to a gas log and we’re very pleased. The photo doesn’t do it justice for how pretty it looks! They removed our old glass doors and took them away for no extra charge and even came back a couple days later to help us figure out how to work the damper correctly. Every technician we’ve had has been knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!

Sean called me prior to arrival to ensure I understood he would not be able to get on the roof, (it was snowing). He was able to do a thorough inspection despite the weather.He was very honest and professional, he even went the extra mile to show me how to properly install a blower that I had installed incorrectly previously.I am having some repair done work at his recommendation and will update this review upon its completion.

Fantastic service by Shaun! Arrived on time and got to work. Inspected the fireplace and chimney and swept the chimney. Was charged less than what I was actually quoted. Very friendly as well. Some non urgent work was recommended too but there was no pressure to have it done. Was informed they would email the quote and it would be up to me to decide to follow through. Clean up was very thorough. Would recommend to anyone needing work done on their fireplace.

Wish I could say something good. But cant! I called over a week ago & left a voicemail requesting a chimney cleaning quote! Havent heard anything from them!!!!

We initially called to have a squirrel removed from our chimney. After inspecting the firebox, flue and chimney Cap, it was clear that not one but an entire squirrel family had taken up residence and had built a very packed nest. It required a complete cleaning and multiple trips of concentrated effort to get all the squirrels​ out. The persistence and patience of Rory and his crew was much appreciated. We believe that the new chimney Cap is made much better than our old Cap that had simple wire mesh. Wildlife will not be able to get through the metal on the cap from Master Services. The squirrel family did damage to our chimney shelf. But it didnt take much. We have lived in the house 2 years and did not realize that the previous owners had at one time repaired the shelf with some kind of cheap sealant/morter. It all fell apart in pieces when the fire box and nest were being cleaned out. We will have Master Services rebuild the shelf with quality materials and workmanship. We would definitely recommend Master Services.

Having recently moved to a home where I now have a wood-burning fireplace, I decided to confront my fears of using it. I started by researching a good chimney sweep, and the reviews for Masters Chimney were overwhelmingly great. After they inspected and cleaned my chimney today, I know why the reviews are so good. The Chimney Sweep was professional, courteous, tidy, and thorough, answering all of my questions and providing a complete report in terms I understood. I would definitely recommend them to all, including novice fireplace users, like me!

I was called after hours the night before a scheduled appointment, that I had taken time off for, to cancel with the excuse that they had lost a technician. The appointment was apparently rescheduled for three weeks later. I called back and left a voice mail that night to cancel this appointment and requested a call back so I could discuss a time that would work. The next day I got a rather rude call telling me they got my message and the appointment was cancelled followed by hanging up on me.Update to response:While I appreciate the response, the professional thing would not be to tell me something didnt happen as if to imply Im lying. After I was told that you received my cancellation notice, I replied with a thank you and was about to inquire about a new date when the conversation abruptly became just me. No goodbye, no thank you for call us, etc. Masters has many positive reviews which persuaded me to use your services, but unfortunately I cant count my experience among them.

Chris was awesome, very knowledgeable, clean and friendly. He was understanding and kind to my twins who thought watching him was the coolest thing ever. I would highly recommend this company and their services.

Estimator was rude and hung up on me. I Was very specific on what I needed on the phone. He was pushy on additional work. Ignoring my requests Office promised me a quote and then they sent me an email saying I would not get a quote. Very disappointing

Ii live at Spencer ok which is only 5 miles from OKC. They wouldnt service my area, yet they boast of servicing a large area all the way to Dallas and fort Worth. Guess they didnt want my business.

We had a wonderful experience with this company!! They came over, assessed the damage, and did a beautiful job on our custom chimney cap ... ours is the only one in our neighborhood like it!! Well be calling them before this winter for a cleaning and maybe some new doors...

This company is a scam. They will do everything in their power to up sell.Want a chimney sweep? You will end up paying $150 for inspection and not get a sweep but instead will get a quote for a $1000 in further work for what $25 of mortar sealant at home depot would cost you.Concerning their response: I think they are full of it and might be thinking of another dissatisfied costumer. Everything other than the first 2 items they said was optional and an attempted upsell.With $25 of high temp refractor cement from home deport I was able to tuck point the minor cracks at the rear of the firebox and pack at gap between the lintel and the hearth myself in under 1 hour. Their estimate was for the following:Tuck Point - Inside Firewall, Repair cracks in mortar and brick: $250.00Lintel Packing - Seal the space in between the hearth/mantle and fireplace: $150.00Custom Chimney Cap #1: $400.00Custom Chimney Cap #2: $650.00Waterproofing: $200.00FlashSeal Elastomeric Flashing Sealant: $300.00
