Really convenient that theyre open 24 hours. Came later at night after a concert and there were still plenty of options and flavors. The service was great, one of the donuts I wanted was stale after being out all day so the employee suggested I get a different flavor rather than giving me an old donut. I really appreciated that. The donuts were very hearty and didnt skimp on toppings, but they were definitely on the sweeter side
Ok...so, Tim made the most fantastic Bavarian Creme SHAKE!!! yes i said Shake... And did it at 415am while giving the full grand entrance explanation of the entire setup on how everything goes.I WILL absolutely be returning in the middle of the night just to get donuts and donut shakes from Tim again, Thank you for this amazing mid night treat
Since all of the issues, I have surely but slowly started coming back to town. I love the fresh apple fritters and the cinnamon rolls. The best.Stay strong and keep safe everyone 👍👍👍
We went to Oklahoma last week. We went to Hirts Donuts twice and in 2 trips bought more than 3 doz donuts in total. My personal favorite is the Maple Bacon Long Jon, sweet and salty perfect! The twix donuts are pretty amazing! The stores are decorated pretty cool and fun to look at all the intricate features
Too high for the hype $20 for 6 and not very friendly service either. My sons donut had a hair on it & he hated his blue frosted donut (cookie monster) so I asked for a regular glazed. The manager declined him a donut and said it was an EXTRA CHARGE... Also there was no coffee ready and no creamer stocked smh I asked for a soda instead and that was an EXTRA CHARGE... I really prefer Dunkin right down the street. These were on the dry side. Youre paying for the building & their bills thats ALL.
Nobody has better donuts! Great friendly service and smiling faces. If you love donuts as much as the next person, like I do; I would definitely give Hurts Donuts a go.
This is a photo of ants in my coffee. I put half and half from the dispenser in my coffee and noticed an ant crawling on the machine. Then I get to my car and take the lid off of my cup and there are about 10 dead ants floating on my coffee. Donuts were ok, but I had to tell the girl that I wanted an old fashioned donut 3 times because she couldn’t remember? She said she had a long night….. she still put the wrong donut in my box and had to switch it out. But I’m not coming back because I have no idea what the kitchen looks like if the half and half is full of ants.
Really friendly and patient staff. Delicious and creatively named donuts. I had no idea they had so many different cake donuts which was an added surprise. Ill definitely be back to get some more goodies.
It was late evening when I went so it might not have been the ideal time but the donuts were kind of stale. Staff was friendly and helpful.
That red headed woman who works late night needs to be fired ASAP. Didnt show up to the counter til after waiting several minutes. Then had the nerve to give attitude because their register struggled to read my card. I do not recommend this place as they have a track record of hiring unprofessional staff.
Clean but bathrooms closed. Donuts did not seem very fresh and the coffee was kinda bad. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Selections were good. Will visit again.
Absolutely horrible treatment of the homeless people that walk around the building. Specifically Amy, Rob, and Jess who seem to enjoy making a spectacle of embarrassing and shaming homeless people for simply existing and asking for water on a hot day. Entirely disgusting behavior of the staff on their parts in dealing with what they seem to view as a nuisance to their customers when I have never been bothered or harassed by a homeless person ever in my visits there. However, Morgan was a delight and the only redeemable employee at this place, but I will not be back based on these circumstances until the mentioned employees are let go.
Let me just start by saying I am not a big donut fan. My husband loves donuts, so we decided to try Hurts while we were in Branson. I generally dont order donuts for myself, but was interested in trying some of the flavors they had. Can I just say these are delicious!! They are not overly greasy or sweet. I loved these donuts so much my husband was blown away when I asked if we could go back. Definitely worth checking out while in Branson!!
Hurts donuts was an all around amazing atmosphere. The donuts are remarkable!! Cooked to perfection!
Found a 24 hour open donut shop in oklahoma city the staff was great and the donuts were awesome and some of the donuts were really cute I wish they had one closer to my house we will definitely be back
Hurts donuts used to be a great donut place once Covid hit I can tell hurts went to a cheaper product which cause the donuts to be super dry. I used to visit hurts donut often throughout a week. But the extreme dryness from the donuts 🏃🏽♀️Me away.
A sweet sugary heaven has marked a spot in Uptown along NW 23rd Street with her quirky and fun pastry goodness. With a remodeled ambulance (wrapped with all things Hurts) parked outside this donut shop, you wonder if it still has all the equipment in case someone goes into a sugar-high coma.Walk into an open interior space spotted with colorful seating while you get lured in by the illuminated glass case filled with colorful delicious donut creations.Whether you are here to grab one or a dozen donuts, take time to explore the creative fried dough from Slim Shady to ET to Maple Bacon Me Crazy. Indugle responsibly please!
Hurts Donuts is by far the best donut shop in Oklahoma City. They have so many different flavors and varieties. And theres so much love and attention that goes into each one of them. They have amazing texture and flavor. It actually takes a while to pick out the donuts you want because there so many different ones with original designs and names. If you are just an occasional donut eater or a donut lover oh, youre going to love Hurts Donuts
Amethyst gave me the best experience ever! I was so happy after meeting her and seeing her sweet smile! I will definitely be back
So, coronavirus killed the vibe; ok. But does it have to be buzzkill for the demeanor of the employees? There were only two people working and it wasn’t busy. There was time and opportunity to be friendly and convey the excitement of serving up a “really, really really, freaking good donut!” Per the company’s slogan. For one, there is no sitting in at all. Not even limited. All the tables and chairs were put away. The mood reflected the ambiance. Closed. Guarded. Unwelcoming. Just low energy in contrast to the locations I’ve visited in Branson and Springfield. The donuts were ok. I got the yeast donuts I usually get and they just did not have the oversized rise that I’ve come to expect from Hurts Donuts.
Got to say I love this PLACE. Today is National Cat Day. They did special donuts to celebrate. Grumpy Cat type donuts. Got them back to work and to my horror their faces had all slipped off. Bummer. (on a side note. They look awesome for a walking dead or radioactive party.) When I contacted them they apologized and offered either a refund on the spot of new donuts. Hello..New donuts..I am IN.. AS you can see these are just funny. Thank you Hurts donuts! The only place I buy donuts.. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
If you are looking for the wow factor, Hurts will not disappoint. There toppings are over the top and creative but thats about the limit of their strengths.I stopped in to pick up a variety of donuts for my family today and the kids were delighted. Cool looking donuts with tons of extra sugar. I picked up a couple of more traditional donuts to see if how well they did the basics. I can honestly say that I wasnt impressed. Neither the blueberry or old-fashioned could stand up to other local shops.Overall if you want a cupcake shaped like a donut this is your place the toppings are impressive. If you are looking for a box of donuts to share or just an old fashioned to go with your morning cup this would not be my first stop.My intention was to pick up a Gluten free option as well since they have good reviews, but was disappointed to find they are ONLY offered on Saturday.
Very bright and colorful. Guy behind the counter was VERY HELPFUL and explained the flavors of we questioned. The tap had root beer and cream soda hand crafted. We got dozen their choice. All were beyond normal donut experience!!!
As tourists, we giggled when we stumbled upon this place - then popped in for some post dinner donut dessert. Lots of flavors/creations. Not the very best donut Ive ever had - but certainly worthy and delicious in their own right. The cake donuts were a little bit dry for our tastes, but still, they were edible. Were more of yeast donut people anyways. These are fun donuts! And they still tasted/appeared fresh even at 7pm. We did get upsold with for a dollar more you can have 6 donuts instead of 4! - and are not ashamed we accepted that proposition. Enjoyed the vibe of the place - even though being the only customers there at an odd time of day for donuts made the initial walk into the big cavernous room a bit off putting. But, we were soon greeted by a young man who guided us in donut selection. Also, awesome donut emergency truck dudes.
We usually love going to Hurts, but we typically go to the one in Norman. We sprung for a Big Mouth Unicorn Donut for my 5 years olds birthday. Unfortunately, for the price I paid, I did not get what I bargained for. It looks NOTHING like the advertised picture. They require 48 hour turnaround time, and it looks like it was slapped together an hour before pickup. You can even see where they scraped an eye off and redid it. The box isnt big enough for them to put the whole thing together in, so the horn was in the side. Upon inserting it, it crumbled in my hand. Love the donuts, but wont be special ordering again. What I paid for vs what I got....
Good donuts. Coffee so so. Service with a smile. Tables were sticky.
Excellent donuts. This is my kids favorite place in OKC. Definitely has become a heavily frequented shop for our family.
The donuts are awesome. Huge variety of flavors and combinations of flavors. Employees are friendly and helpful. Weve never had a bad experience at Hurts.
Over sized donuts! They are good but really sweet for my liking.
I arrived at 8am. All they had were the fancy donuts. I was wanting plain glazed & chocolate glazed. Was told it would be about 3 hours before they had any available. I went down the street 2 blocks to Dunkin and got what I needed.
To love and fear.....😜 Hands down hurts Im there at least once a week you have to get them and try them all my favorite is the snicker or cinnamon toast crunch 😊
Disappointed. I went this morning and got a half dozen donuts. They were all old and hard. Every single Donut seemed like it was stale. When you took a bite they would crumble in you hand. They had potential but for that price and the fact that it was early morning they shouldve been fresh. It would probably be better to go to the Dunkin down the street.
I love this place. The donuts are delicious and the coffee is super refreshing. I also love their process in which they hire people because they are giving former inmates a second chance.
Tim Mitchell is the upmost hardest worker at the place. Very generous and kind young man. Truly deserves a raise.
It took 13 minutes for my shake & it was really runny &extremly messy . You could taste the donut inside the shake though. Literally watched 20 people come & go. Also the cashier didnt give a receipt or the option to text or email. I had to go back & request one be sent. A donut shake will cost $6.52.
Absolutely love their donuts, especially the maple bacon and jesus!
This donut shop definitely had a wow factor. You walk in and you see about thirty to forty unique types of donut, and its pretty easy to get decision paralysis. However, the flavors are incredibly exotic if you dont know what to expect. For example, one particular donut has Fruity Pebbles cereal, or similar, and I was expecting a crunch, but what I didnt consider is that the donuts had already spent all day in a glass case, and the cereal was very chewy. Coupled alongside various strange donuts is the price. These donuts are expensive, at ~$14 a box for a mix that the sales associate gets to pick for you, or you can pick for ~$16 per box. Two whole extra dollars to tell the server which donuts you want.It was a novel experience, and I might recommend someone buy a single Dirty Dozen (the option where you pick), but I myself do not intend on ever going back.Fun experience? Yes.Fair price? Disagreeable.Good donuts? Depends on the flavor and your personal taste.
Brought my bestie from Oregon here to visit. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. It smells amazing in here, the wall decor is cool, and I really like the whisk-inspired pendant lights! We delivered donuts to my fam that night. All reports conclude that the donuts were delicious! We got a dirty dozen and a couple of those bad-a coffee mugs! My personal fav is Jesús, which tastes like a churro + caramel drizzle. This donut is THE perfect donut for dunking in coffee!!!
The best donuts ever. You gotta go to this place
Cute but just a fancy cake donut
Good experience. Big doughnuts not cheap but higher quality than almost anywhere else.
Very nice place employees are very happy and helpful
FABULOUS donuts!! Great people, too!
Only place Ive been able to find maple bacon donuts
Best Doughnuts By Far!!
Really nice workers, really good doughnuts!
Great donuts all around! Definitely better than dunkins and krispy kreme. The donuts are still soft after 4 days, very impressive! It took some time to finish a dozen, dont judge haha.
Last two visits were the day after a long weekend. I specifically asked if the glazed donuts were fresh and was assured they were. They were stale and at least 24 hours old. Military discount is appreciated but even with a discount Im not going to bring my Airmen stale donuts.
Good donuts even late at night
Payed $17 for old doughnuts that were not good at all, prolly will come back when i know theyre made fresh lmao
Wayyy better and taste than I thought it was gone be. Its totally worth it.Any donut turn unto a shake + the 🍩
Super yummy donuts, got a classic, a mint oreo and a smores donut. The dining area was clean and had a great vibe. Parking was convenient and the staff were all kind. Definitely going to be my go to donut shop in OKC now. 24-hrs too! They also had a bunch of other unique flavors Im going to have to try later on. Can get a bit pricey if youre buying a lot
Never have I ever had a bad experience at hurts. Love this place and their donuts!
Very cool donut shop. Outstanding donuts and very creative. Definitely check them out
Excellent Vibe, friendly staff, old school arcade machine a +1, entertaining signs and menus. Just get there a little early, some of the most popular donuts do get gobbled up quickly.
Truly amazing donut shop that is an OKC must if you like the finer aspects of fried bread. The creative combinations plus the old stand bys keep you coming back. I have not had a bad one yet! Go!!! You can thank me later!
Excellent service and unique delicious dounuts..
Amazing. As always.Hurts has had my heart since the first time I made the grueling drive all the way to Norman from Edmond after being told repeatedly that Hurts was worth the drive. This was before the OKC location had even been announced.Since that night Ive made the trip more than a handful of times in order to get my hands on the one and only truth in this world, the Slim Shady. Its a chocolate cake donut coated in white frosting and dotted generously with M&ms. Its quite literally white on the outside and black on the inside, and its amazing. Now that the OKC location had opened, Ive easily added an inch or three to my waist line.Honorable mention to the Andes mint and Homer. Both are also excellent donuts.
