We wanted to get an engagement ring and wedding ring made from someone local, so we could have a more personal experience. This is exactly what we got. We had stones from some family jewelry that we wanted to use and Arthur came up with the perfect rings for us. After trying to find out information about an after-market modified Rolex watch, another jewelry store recommended JewelSmiths. We didnt really know anything about the watch, but Art explained everything to us in detail, backing it up with his extensive knowledge. He also saved us from making a huge mistake; we were going to send another watch across country to what can only be described as a Rolex clearing house. Art explained the flaws in that process, which could have ended up with us getting much less than they originally offered. We looked for almost a year for the right ring for her. Every store, every thing, at every price. Nothing aligned with what we wanted. When I walked in to see Arthur at JewelSmiths, we knew right away that the visit would be different. He took the time to listen to us and hear what we were looking for. Stopped by randomly to have a battery replaced. The owner offered to repair it immediately which I had not expected. The price was fair and the service was quick. Since I was new to the area the owner offered to give me tips on what to do. He mentioned his shop had been open for generations. When I mentioned my family also had a multi generational jewelry shop a few questions led to him knowing my cousins shop in Illinois. Truly a small world. In short, a quick service, reasonably priced with a warm caring owner. Will recommend and return.

While visiting JewelSmiths for a watch repair, Rosangela offered to clean my 15th anniversary ring. Arthur thankfully noted that after 25 years of wear, the channels holding the diamonds had worn dangerously thin. They repaired my ring, and it looks outstanding and is safe once again. We did a lot of shopping before we purchased my wifes ring, I wont mention names, but directly across the street from Penn Square Mall, we were told because of their purchasing power, blah blah were getting an amazing deal. We wanted to shop around many places since we were spending a lot of money and just wanted to make sure we got the best deal. All I can say is the people here have a lot of experience, theyre very friendly and the stone we chose for the setting was identical in Clarity and quality and we still saved $1,000. All that advertising costs money, and when you have low overhead, it absolutely benefits the consumer. Sounds cliche but its true. I had been to another Jewelry store to have a ring appraised and they told me it was Certainly a Real Ruby, but we dont deal in rubies. He recommended I get an appraisal to certify its Authenticity. Our very first visit coming into the store was very enlightening. It was great to see the company especially the lady she took her time to get to know us and our only regret we had was we wish that we had met them before now. Jewelsmiths rebuilt a diamond ring for me. The result is absolutely gorgeous! While the cost may seem high to some, the old world craftsmanship exhibited by this ring justifies the price. Hand work by real craftsmen is worth anything it costs. I had a great experience.

I brought my earrings in for screw back posts to be added. I brought them in on Monday and I was called the following Thursday that they were ready. I have a bracelet that was resized from a different jewelry store and it snapped in half due to their poor craftsmanship. That store basically did a hard soldering (like electrical solder) to connect the node instead of doing a proper metal loop, that will increase the tension force and causing the bracelet to snap. I went to JewelSmiths and they are able to reconnect the bracelet properly, and I am able to pick it up on the next day! Arthur the owner is very kind and professional, really appreciate it that you are able to restore the bracelet, so thank you!

Went in to have there watches that I inherited verified to be real and valued. The man behind the counter was very rude and judgmental and told me that all three were copies without taking them out of the box. Knowing one of them has already been verified to be real. Then whenever I told him that I already knew one was verified to be real he asked me why I even came to his shop. I do not recommend this place at all!

I had my Omega Speedmaster repaired along with a COA service and JewelSmiths did a great job. The watch looks and runs like new. I am very satisfied with their mechanical watch service, and I am glad Oklahoma City has such a good local business here in the community.

This is the place for all of your jewelry needs! I may not have bought my actual engangement ring here, but they have been very helpful in every step along the way to maintain its beauty and integrity. The first time I brought my ring in was to have it resized (from a 6 something to a 4.5!). The end results were seamless and it fit perfectly. So we decided to buy my husbands ring here because we knew they carried quality products. When I noticed my diamond becoming loose, they fixed it on the spot, and it came back so pretty and clean and free of charge! Then a couple years passed and the diamond was loose again, so I took it in for repair, got a reasonable quote (slightly higher than I expected, but worth every penny for the quality and care put into their work), and now its good as new! I highly recommend them for their great customer service alone, but I am sure you could find that beautiful piece of jewelry you have been looking for as well.

They had my gold necklace fixed in just a few hours and it was beautifully done. Youd never know it had been broken. They were reasonably priced too. My great uncle gave me a ring shortly before he passed, its a beautiful 7 diamond ring, unfortunately my uncles ring finger was a 9 and a half where mine is a 12. With the ring being so old the band was quite thin, meaning it would need to be repaired with a new shank, as well as some damage to the prongs. So after checking multiple jewelry stores, including diamonds direct, we were wowed by the expertise and service offered by Jewel Smiths. All things aside I am truly in awe of how beautiful this ring is, it looks like a brand new ring full of life and longevity. Took a ring to this shop because of all the good reviews. Should have shopped around.. Very overpriced, charged 153 dollars to size up white gold ring from 5 to 7.(was a surprise so I didnt bring my girlfriend in to have it sized, have worked with jewlers in the past where they would allow a touch up on size) Told me a sales pitch as why it was so expensive was because of materials being 12k an oz. On receipt parts was 20 dollars, labor 133.Called to have it sized back down to 6.5, told me he would have to charge again. Very disappointed with customer service.(To be fair, it was nice and shiny, and completed expeditiously. My issue is solely with the price. On the phone I was not told the reduced price, but I was told it would still cost labor. Which means it would have been another $130 at least. If anyone thinks $280 to resize a ring within 2 sizes is fair, then by all means, ignore this review. Apparently, you have to bring your significant other in to get sized, so dont expect to be romantic and surprise them )
